ALV:amout becomes positive in output, y?

Hello Friends,
I am doing on ALV report using classes and methods.
Here i am populting one internal table (which is my output table) and passing to ALV function to display.
But, In my internal table there is oane field BSEG-ERFMG (Quan 13)
before passing to ALV function, its value is '25.000-'.
While i m getting results, it shows '25'.
How it can be possible?
I want my Negetive value in my report.
Is it possible in ALV with class n method process?

Hello Amol,
you can influence the order of the displayed fields using the SET_AVAILABLE_FIELDS method of the IDA ALVs field catalog instance.
Following you see a little example for the company code table T001. I changed the order of the fields that the company code text is displayed in front of the company code ID. The order in which you pass the fields to the method defines the order for the output.

Getting dump when using do_sum in alv field cat in the output of the report

             Iam getting the alv report when i click on the segma field (Sum) on my salary
field iam getting dump. and also if i try to print my alv output iam getting dump , only
happening to my custom report.

In the ALV function module , the i_save can have the below paramater values.
You can add based on your requirement.
I_SAVE = SPACE Layouts cannot be saved.
I_SAVE = 'U' Only user-defined layouts can be saved.
I_SAVE = 'X' Only global layouts can be saved.
I_SAVE = 'A' Both user-defined and global layouts can be saved.

Please note that this example maybe slow at filling the excel table
(perhaps four fields per second on a 900 MHz machine - almost 30 seconds
for a short example).
To get the data on properties and methods - there is a bit of smoke and mirrors
going on here; they are EXCEL properties and methods, not sap ones - so you need
to look at excel help to determine how a particular function is structured. then
build the block in sap, as shown in the example.
If you only want to transfer the data to Excel like when you transfer the data from
ALV to Excel simply use the Function Modules:
XXL_SIMPLE_API
If you want more modifications when you transfer it to Excel use:
XXL_FULL_API

i want to shows output as same as i am fetching from database table.
plz give details to achieve this requirement. i have tried CONVERT_DATE_TO_INTERNAL fm but dont know how to use

Declare ur date filed of Sy-datum type,
or u cane also give the refrence of ANY table and there DATE type field while building Field Catalog,
for Example,

Superscript becomes # in CONVERT_OTF output PDF

Hello,
As the subject says, units of m2 (2 in superscript) becomes m# when converting OTF to PDF.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this, I looked into note 1012515, but it's already implemented.

you might need to look at the note 1561554. As I understand, this note corrects superscripts and subscripts symbols also. Maybe I'm wrong.
Therefore, you want the system to also use these Adobe fonts to output the special characters during the PDF conversion for Unicode/cascading fonts (see Note 999712)

Help on ALV with multiple header/item output

yes for some reason ALV expects you to be using different tables. It seems that it does not save the contents of the tables at each call of 'append' rather it waits until 'display' to deal with the table contents at that time, which in your case is the 20 items.
What you can do is use dynamic tables. check this out:

Position sensitive output prints differently on different printers

I am trying to print some text on an Avery 5260 (3 labels wide by 10 labels tall sheet). I have positioned 3 text fields in the report Details section (for a row of labels) so that they print perfectly on my HP LaserJet 1100 and then set the height of the Details section so that all 10 labels high print correctly as well. However when the same report is generated and printed on another printer (tried 4 different ones so far) the output no longer stays in the proper position. Some printers only print 9 rows per page and the 10th row ends up on the next page. Other printers start printing over the label edges after the 1st 3 rows of labels.
Is there a way to make the position of the output stay the same based on the design of the report for all printers?

This is expected behavior with Crystal Reports because the position of all objects is determined from the printer drivers. Your best bet is to go into the printer options and select the "No Printer" checkbox. This will for the print engine to use a generic print driver and it should produce consistent results.

ALV Grip show in Excel output by default.

   I know that in ALV Grip output when we click the "Excel" layout button on my report the layout will change from alv to excel layout.
   How about if i want to set the excel layout is my default layout when display the ALV Grip report. Any code i need to add in the ALV setting?

Unable to download data in ALV output with local file option

I am displaying ouput in ALV grid display.Its showing output fine.When i am trying to down load the data into Excel file from ALV ouput .when i am downloaded the data by using Local file option,its down loading the data but its not downloading all the fields.

Just Check that one of your parameters is defined in lower case letters.
Earlier it used to give dump on execution but now if you download then it will give ABAP dump.
I have seen this problem many times.
