ALV Report - Production Scheduling Report

Hello Gurus,
I need to write an ALV report of open production order operations per selection criteria. If the production orders are linked to any sales order, then the result of ALV should also contain the sales order data.
Selection screen should contain -
Plant(required), Production order number(optional), Material number (optional), Work center (optional).
If the system statuses of the production orders are not TECO, CLSD, DV then they are considered as open.
The ALV report should contain the following fields.
SO Number, PO Nbr, Ship-to-address, Material availability date, Req ship date, Last confirmed date, Ship via, Sales order line item, Pro Ord Nr, Plant, Pro ord cre date, Material Nbr, Material desc, Order qty, UOM, Sch Start date, Sche finish date, user status, MRP ctrler, Remaining hrs etc.
Please guide me how to proceed to achieve the required report.

I did all the changes mentioned in thread.
Cost component wise production target cost and actual cost is coming.
Same way i did it for qty.but my actual qty of production order is not coming but input qty is coming.
Option selected for output qty and same is not coming in report

Need to ask one more question,Shall i create separate cost component for FG cogm a/c?.my fg cogm and settlement a/c is same.

Crystal Reports Server - Scheduling Report Exports

Dear Experts,
We are using Crystal Reports Server XI Edition and we would like to schedule report exports. Crystal Reports Server configuration console allows us to automate report exports but apparently we could not find a way to pass report parameters and formulas from any export management tab. Naturally, each report needs to take different parameters but to our knowledge CRS management console does not have a screen that prompts us to key in or to read dynamic report parameters and formula. It simply uses the default report parameters. Can you confirm this please?
To overcome this limitation, we are thinking of developing something like a script that directly interacts with CRS. The script would pass the name of the report, the report parameters and other relevant details like CMS username/ password.Do you think this is possible and if yes can you please point us to the key APIs required for scheduling report exports?

You are able to change the parameters for the report within the Central Management Console under the processing tab before scheduling.

Report about scheduled reports with status failed

hi All,
I would like to schedule report with information which reports in SAP BO (which I could find in Instance Manager in CMC) did not refreshed (failed status). Do you know where this data are stored?

Hi Konrad,
Query builder is an application which gets deployed when you deploy the BO applications like CMC/BILaunchPad.
The name of the application is AdminTools. You can check with your admin/deployment team if you have it deployed.
You would be exceuting the below url to access the application
http://<servername>:<port>/AdminTools
The name is case sensitive so follow the same case.
It would be best to run your queries in AdminTools application rather than running those directly on CMS tables though management studio. Running queries directly on CMS databse tables is not recommended.

Crystal Report Server - Scheduled Reports Have Failed - SMTP_E_TCPSOCKET_SE

Hi,
Recently, several scheduled reports have failed with the error message "server error. CrystalEnterprise.Smtp: SMTP_E_TCPSOCKET_SEND(3)". It happens randomly, to different reports at different times. Can anyone let me know what information does this need to troubleshoot. Thanks!

I would like to suggest you following things:
1) Please check the SMTP settings on the respective report's job server. Like Severname of the SMTP
server. Port number of the SMTP and domain.
2) Check whether are you able to send the mails from mail client to the desired destination.
3) Verify the Port number given to the SMTP, by default it is 25. And also verify it is not blocked on the
firewall.
4) Also verify whether ip address of the server machine where job server is installed is included in the
allowed list at the SMTP server end.

Edit Schedules Reports in Prime Collaboration

I am using the following version:
Cisco Prime
Collaboration
Version: 9.5.34267
Under Report/Interactive Reports I can create a report view. That is fine so far. Under Report/Scheduled Report I can create a Report with Inventory/Managed Devices. How can I edit this view or get the view from Interactive Report to Scheduled Report?

I did find a solution.
Here is what I did:
1) Deleted the CUCM from Prime Collaboration Assurance 10.6.
2) Changed the cluster ID from the default value StandAloneCluster to a unique value (e.g. LabCluster) on CUCM.
3) Restarted the services 'Cisco CallManager' (Please note: a call processing service interruption could occur) and 'RIS Data Collector'.
4) Discovered the CUCM in Prime Collaboration Assurance 10.6.

If the above steps do not help, then the only way to fix the issue is to do step 2 and 3, then reinstall Prime Collaboration Assurance and then discover the CUCM.

Strange issue with WEBI schedule Report

I have a strange issue with schedule WEBI reports, a schedule report runs for Hours , i reschedule it again by deleting the instance and the schedule report never got succeed even after running for hours.
Any idea???

Hi Manoj,
1. Try to put some filters in the report and then run the report. if it takes less time, then probably your query is fetching very large data.
2. MDX query error may be the reason , this error come when a query runs endless, please try running the query 2-3 times, or when load on server is less.

Scheduling reports

Hi Experts,
I have a few questions on scheduling report runs. Background is that we need to set up some reports to be run daily and be ready when people come to work in the morning, for example daily pick list, etc.
- How do you set up this kind of daily reporting runs?
- Is this possible for "all" (most) reports in SAP?
- Can these reports be saved to a file on a harddrive/server or sent out as a file in an email?

Currently, only XL Reporter supports scheduling reports. Crystal Report is planed to add this function in the near future. That is all I can tell.

Operation wise Production Scheduling Graphical Report

Dear Expert ,
I have multiple production orders and each operations have schedule start date and finsihe date .My client wants a graphical bar chart or grarate chart of production oreds , operations schedule based on vaious work centers after doing capacity leveling in CM21 graphical view so that every week we can production manager can send the concern people those production schedule to SFC.
Is there any functionality or SAP reporting tools are available in this requirement ? I have tried in CM21 --print - chart2 which is giving me order pool before operation despatch ..I am not able to get the same chart2 after order-operation dispatch .

I did not able to find out anY sap standard report of this requirement .
How ever , I have developed an functional specification to make a custom report based on COOIS and CM21.User will carry out work centre , operation and production order wise scheduling(Operation dispatch , overload checking and scheduling ) in CM21 and same will be captured in custom developed report based on COOIS.This can have an graphical chat in PDF or excell as per business requirement to send the concern production department as reference .
As there is client policy of data protection , I am not able to share details about this report .

Scheduled report name

Hi,
We have made a custom report for UCCX8.5, which we'd like to schedule. This report can only show the details of one CSQ, by selecting a CSQ filter. Because of this we'll need to schedule a new task for every CSQ. Here the issue arises: when I look at the scheduled reports overview, all reports have the same name: The name of the report. This makes it impossible to see which scheduled report is which. So it'll be really hard to delete or add one later.
Is there a way to change the name of the scheduled report task?

This is one of a few scheduler-related limitations of the HRC. Another is that the machine running the client must be running and actively logged in for the system tray-based (i.e. not a windows service) scheduler app to trigger.
My advise on this one is to upgrade to the latest 9.0 build where you can switch from the legacy HRC client to the new Unified Intelligence Center (CUIC) reporting engine. This is a browser-based UI and was ported over from UCCE so now both products have the same reporting engine. As luck would have it, you can name the schedule when you create it with CUIC:

With that said, you'll have to redo your custom report by spinning up a lab instance of CUIC Premium (not bundled with CCX) so you can create the report definition. Once you have that, you can import it into the embedded CUIC Standard instance on CCX and be good to go. The SQL stored procedure process remains unchanged.
In case you're inclined to dismiss this advice, note that HRC is EoL. In 9.0 you can pick one or the other but it's gone entirely in 10.0; CUIC only. So, it's only a matter of time before you have to cross this bridge anyways.

Scheduled report in BO 5.1

Hello Gurus, I am new to Business Objects, just started using it last monthI have a particular requirement: i need to run a scheduled report query in business objects, then the output is to be written to a flat file. What do i need to do this? Do i need a Job Server?or can i create a tool that i can run on my local PC that will connect to BO in the background to perform the report query? the Output of the report will be a flat file Does BO allow background connections? planning to use SAP XI as the tool that will have a scheduled job to connect to BO and generate query then have the send back the result to XI as a flat file. can anyone help or give me advice if such scenario is possible with Business Objecs 

Hi there.Forgive me if my knowledge of the classic Business Objects products is a little weak. You listed that you are using BO 5.x. You also mentioned something about a Job Server which is only available in Business Objects XI. So I will try to answer both scenarios. If you are using BO 5.x then you will probably be using Full Client Documents. If you want to use an external scheduler then you can use the BO SDK to open the doc, refresh and then save the data to text. If you want to use Business Objects scheduling then you would want to use the Broad Cast Agent (BCA) to schedule your report. We only have a COM SDK available for version 5.x If you are using BusinessObects XI you would take advantage of the Job Server. You can use the BusinessObjects XI SDK to retrieve the report, and schedule to export to text. You can find samples of how to do this in the BOXI Code forum. We have a Java/.NET/ and COM SDK to be able to do this. Trigger on scheduled report completion

I would like to automatically distribute reports by e-mail.
I am aware that Discoverer can schedule the production of reports.
Is it possible to attach a trigger to this and, say, use UTL_SMTP to distribute the resulting CSV file?
I am aware I would have to write the e-mail code myself.
I want to avoid installing things like Outlook onto the server itself because I want management of the distribution to be done in the DB - even if it means using hard core PL/SQL rather than pretty Outlook.

Ther users which are already the recipent of the sheduled report cannot be changed at the runtime.
However the changes which you have made before the running the scheduled report will take effect
