Any Mail Forwarding Services Like Chit Chat Express In BC? (Other Than Bookstotheborder)

Chit Chat Express is clearly providing an awesome service for those in Ontario to save money shipping their packages to the US. Anyone know of similar services in BC other than Bookstotheborder?

    Only Endnote is integrated with Pages. How other reference manager systems work, i do not know but that are not integrated with Pages.

  • [SOLVED] Change Gnome 3 default chat client to something other than...

    One of Gnome 3's selling points is that it has "messaging built-in," using Empathy.  However, I prefer Pidgin.  I haven't found any secret dconf or gconf key (though I haven't looked very hard), does one exist?  Should I give up hope and switch to Empathy?

    The gnome-shell integration only works with empathy right now. The pidgin developers would have to implement it in pidgin. You can make pidgin's integration (or lack thereof) slightly better by installing pidgin-libnotify so you can get the chat notifications that pop up at the bottom (but you can't reply in them like with empathy).
    Empathy's integration is awesome but I have to stick with pidgin because empathy lacks ridiculously basic features such as: "only allow users on my contact list to contact me", blocking contacts (aim), file transfers (aim).
    Whenever I use empathy I get bot spam on aim and its completely unblockable because empathy lacks any privacy features. Not acceptable

  • Can't copy any file to/from iomega 1TB home media network CE other than through FTP

    Hi, since few days ago I can't copy any file to or from iomega using Windows Explorer on my PC or any file explorer ony my android phone. I can acces the drive but when I try to copy something to the drive, a 'copying'  window pops up  and shows "estimating" in ETA and often freezes. Same goes with my phone, it just shows 0B/s as speed. I can however copy files to/from using ftp connection. Do you have any ideas what's wrong? I didn't change anything, it just stopped working. Also, will factory reset delete all data from the drive? EDIT. Turns out I can only copy FROM the drive using ftp. So at this point there is no way for me to move anything to the nas.

    With the majority of support incidents I have dealt with, odd behavior like this can usually be attributed to a failing drive.
    The firmware runs on the drive, so, if it is beginning to fail it can cause unexpected behavior.
    I would backup anything from the NAS that you wish to keep, then run the factory reset (it is data destructive), and then try to re-load the NAS.

    It depends on where you want to execute this. Groovy in a validation script would be different to EL in a page as they would be in different stages in the lifecycle.

    If its to be part of a validation then you can call the source methods in groovy and do the comparison.
    from a validator for instance:
    source.getGradeName() returns the grade name before commiting.

    el in a page would look entirly different but you can implement this same functionality in a bean, access it via the accessors and then return true or false.
    if you are already using EL and you managed to link your page with JSTL, you will have to define the access variable in the header section inorder to access it and then use "startswith", though I havent tried it this way.

    Welcome to the forum, NicoleYM. I don't think the Touch Mail has as many options as the Mac Mail app. However, you could set a standard signature. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Signature. There you can type a reply address and hope people see it.
    Alternatively, you can go to your GMail account in your web browser and click on Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP. There you will have an option to forward all emails (or only some, if you set up a filter) to your other address.

  • Mail "chit-chat" on iCloud

    I do not understand why ehtet is so much "chit-chat" when getting mail for 5 addresses (using the Mail app) via iCloud.  Some days, like today, I see a L-O-N-G list of messages related to sychronizing mailboxes, deleting old mail (I don't have any), traversing mailbox hierarchy, exiting idle state, blah, blah, blah.  This appears to get worse as more of the US wakes up.
    Who can explain this?
    My personal opinion is that Apple needs to improve their server system.

    @njread -- Apple Mail 6.2 definitely has some new behaviors (in contrast with previous versions). Can you please elaborate on what you mean when you say you "...store all of my email (from multiple email addresses) on my iCloud (within the mail app)"?
    Are you suggesting that you transfer all messages from all of your non-iCloud email accounts within the email app to your iCloud email account by dragging the messages (and/or folders) into your iCloud folder tree, or are you suggesting that you simply back up all of your email accounts (and mail messages) to your iCloud backup file (from you iCloud settings in "Mail, Contacts & Calendars")?
    If you mean the former (you manually drag/drop your messages/folders into your iCloud account's folder tree), Apple Mail 6.2 will default to replying from your iCloud email addresss (because that's the address Apple Mail 6.2 thinks you received the message to), and you can only manually change the "From" field to the email address of your choice.
    If you mean the latter (you back up all of your email accounts and mail messages to your iCloud backup file), you can change the default email address you send mail from (from within your "All Inboxes" Inbox) by reordering the list of email accounts listed under the main Inbox folder in your list of Mailboxes.
    If you meant something entirely different, please let me know and I'll see what I can do to help.

    When I attach a monitor to it, I saw all the buttons and menus stopped responding too. I can only push and hold the power button on the box to shutdown.
    It only started happening recently.

    Found that the second hard drive is broken. I have to go to the apple store to have it replaced.
    I had to press the power button to turn the server off for several times, then the broken hard drive went disappeared. After that, I had to disable the Spotlight. Then the server went back to work normally.
    Now I made a CCC copy of the primary hard drive, and would like to have the server run on the external raid disk (connected through thunderbolt). Does anyone have previous experience with it? Any expectable drawback or issue with this setup?

  • How about some easy (any) customer service like a # to call or a button to click?

    I'm having an issue and can't check out my order (over the evening - multiple tries).  That's just the immediate issue - and so done with all the others.  Previously tried the iPhone app and could never log in over a week so deleted it after reading it was a common issue (from BB support on the forums here).  Couldn't use my "BestBuy Elite" account credentials to access posting on the forums so had to create a separate forum account. :/  It takes repeated searching to find how to even express any satisfaction/dissatisfaction let alone impossible to find a way to contact anyone other than forums (well, other than physically walking in to a store).  I'd say customer service is rather lacking.
    Anyway, trying to check out my cart and it keeps kicking back with no error message, pop up, alert, whatever, to the same page and asking for all the same information again.  Yes, I've tried multiple computers and browsers/browser versions.  If it's going to be this hard to give you my money, forget it.  I'll gladly pay more somewhere else where I can actually get an order through or more importantly a quick means to customer service when I'm having an issue.  I understand technical issues but that's where customer support comes in.  Seems a lot of issues and little of support.
    Don't bother with a follow up.  I'm done.  and expect this to be deleted shortly since "one" unhappy customer can easily be considered the cost of doing business if they're getting everyone elses money.
    (yes, this can be considered a 'rage quit'.  Easy to do when so many others can offer the same products with better service and same or better prices - even higher prices are worth it if the service is there)

    1)      iPhone App: I’m not too sure why you ran into problems, but there was a new update to this application made available on February 12th of this year that corrected some minor issues and has some additional improvements. As it is a free app, I might suggest downloading it and give it another try.
    2)      Best Buy Elite: You are right in that you can’t use the same credentials for your My Best Buy account for your forum account. We are aware that many Best Buy accounts for different programs can make things confusing, but we are working on this. Just recently, we combined our BestBuy.com and our My Best Buy programs to work with one account.
    3)      Cart Not Working:  This one is a little harder to give a concrete answer to. Usually, the only time an item may be added to a cart is if it’s available online. If the item goes out of stock, we try and update our website as soon as possible. You may have attempted to add an item to your cart that was out of stock, but not showing its correct status as it changed during your viewing of the item.  However, without seeing it happen or knowing what item you were looking to purchase, I can’t let you know for certain. What were you attempting to purchase?

    In one of our BI production system few RFC usersu2019 lunches BEX WEB analyzer using html service and they are leaving their sessions for ever, which in turn causes Obsolete lock entries in SM12.
    I know that we have parameter (rdisp/max_wprun_time) to limit the dialog work process run time.
    Do we have any parameter to limit the runtime of the HTML services like BEx WeB. Please suggest me how to Limit RFC users runtime.

    you can use an ICM timeout - but then this will also affect long running queries if you set it too low.
    icm timeout is a system parameter and not specific to your query alone.
    Otherwise you can have a portal and setup DSM ( Distributed Session Management) to handle the same...
