AP payment without invoices, is it possibile ?

11i in ap, is it possibile to do the payment without invoices ?
The clients want to generate this journals directly:
DR Expense
CR Cash
They don't want to go through the "payables account".
If it is possibile , how to do that?
Thanks very much.

Hi
With out an invoice you can not do a payment in AP.
I hope you can acheive the client accouting requirement though Subledger Accounting Method for payables as cash based accouting method.
Check if this suites your requirement.

Dim sum As Decimal = 0 ' Forget double 4ever
            oPymt = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oIncomingPayments)
            oPymt.DocDate = Date.Today()

            oPymt.CashSum = 1200
oPymt.CashAccount = "38110000" ' here you enter your the account where you record the payment

  • Payment without invoices

    Hi gurus,
Is it possible to make a payment without any invoices in SAP? I know bank to bank fund transfer allow transferring of funds from one bank to another bank without any invoices. How about fund transfer from bank to vendor (and without any invoices to the vendor)? Is that possible in SAP? Please advice.

    Hi,
Advance payment is an option. however, your requrement doesnt seem to be adv payment.
in that case, You can do that using F-02.
Mention the document type as KZ, posting key to debit vendor as 25 and credit the gl account with 50.
This is very much similar to a payment made to vendor but with out any invoice reference.
    Good Luck...

  • F110 Automatic Payment without invoice

    Hi
I have one vendor that I want to auto pay him without an open item.
It sould be supplier against bank without clearing a specific open items for this vendor.
    Is it posible?
    Thanks
    Ofer

    Hi
You can have the DownPayment Requests,Security Deposits, etc., which will be done to Vendor Master and you will run APP F110 to pay those.
All these are Special G/L Transactions, which are to be maintained in FBZP Configuration.
Go to Setup All Company Codes for Payment Transactions and then in Sp G/L transactions to be paid over maintain those Sp.G/L Indicators and run F110.

  • Invoice blocked for payment without GRN(MRBR)

    Hi all,
I need to have a report which should show the details of  invoices blocked for payment and which dont have any GRN means Invoice is generated without GRN and hasbeen blocked because of either of quantity or price difference.
For the same I tried to use MRBR report but it is showing all the invoices blocked but what I need is invoice generated and blocked for payment without having a GRN as base document.

    Hi,
You can use ME2L but in MRBR report better use filter and sort documents by blocking reason R1 (Missing GRN), this should solve your purpose.
Hope this helps you. Any point?

  • Payment block in a vendor without invoice block

    Hi,
    We have a peculiar requirement.
Client is requesting us to block a particular vendor for payment however invoicing needs to remain open.
I presume we can do this using two methods:-
1.) Payment block in vendor master
Limitation 1 - Let us say that the block indicator is "A" which we have set in the vendor master record and in the configutation of the Block Indicator we Do not check the box of Change in Payment proposal and Check the box of Manual Payment block.
This will block the invoice for payment using F110 and will also not allow change of block in the proposal.
However this will not prevent payment block using F-53 (manual payments)
2.) Manually insert Payment block in the individual invoice posting
Limitation - End user can remove the payment block and then process the invoice.
3.) Default Payment block in the payment term that is in the vendor master record
Limitation - End user can remove the payment block and then process the invoice.
Can anyone please suggest me a method to achieve this.
    Thanks,
    Nitish

    Hi
Invoice will go for a block only when the quantity and/or price at the time of Invoice goes beyond the Purchase order quantity and price. This is delpendent upon the tolerance limit you define in the customization for LIV.
If the quanity and/or price is less than that system only issues a warning message.
If you are not expecting any further delivery after say 50 (out of 100 quantity) you need to manually close the PO by setting the delivery completed indicator in Delivery tab of item detail of PO.

    Hi Venkatesh,
Thnx a lot for the reply. This has almost solved my problem, however there's one thing left. when I'm trying to take a print out after exporting the info into an excel sheet, the information really looks scattered, i.e.,  is there a way where we can go ahead and get the info in a rather unscattered manner.
I've tried to take a print directly without actually transferring the info into an excel sheet, then each of the vendor is printed in a separate page, which again they feel is a problem.
So, if you have an idea pls suggest.
    Thnx again for the information.

  • Clearing customer down payment without VAT code

    Dear Freinds
For normal cleared items ( between invoices and incoming payments) the VAT code doen't appear.
But while clearing a Customer Down payment request, when we are using a sp. GL Indicator it is asking for tax code
I want to clear customer down payment without tax code.According to the local legal requirement in the VAT report should not appear  any clearing with tax code even if Tax code has no tax.
Can anybody help me?? I tried changing the tax category of Sp. Gl Recon account to blank but then it doesn't allow to post a down payment request with tax applicable.

    Sudip

    Hi Ravindra
If we remove the tax category, then the problem is when we create a down payment request and do billing where tax rate is applicable, Entry will not happen in Accounting.
Only thing which I need is that at time of clearing the down payment request, putting tax code should not be mandatory.Just like when I am clearing a normal invoice (Inv. and incoming payment) no tax code is required.

  • Down payment without VAT

    Dear All,
I have a question u2013 is it possible to post down payment without VAT posting?
Currently our Vendor/Customer down payments produce VAT postings and when are cleared with final invoice. But according local requirements VAT posting must be done and VAT receivable can be reported only then final invoice is produced. There is not possible change tax code in down payment requests from SD or MM.
    Do you have any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance!

  • Enable to make payment of invoices against which TDS is deducted

    Hi All,
We have posted 3 vendor invoices & deducted the TDS against each invoice as follows -
    Inv. Amt                            TDS
    7516                                158
    5050                                107
    5051                                 106
Now when I am trying to take out the payment of Rs. 17617/-against the above invoices through F-53 in open item process again the TDS amt 371/- is getting deducted against the payment of Rs. 17617/-
Please suggest how do i take out the payment of Rs. 17617/- only without deducting 371/- of TDS?
    Thanks
    Sonal

Recollect the screen that pop ups when you make down payment or Make an invoice. At the time of down payment you will be given the tax codes that were applicable at the time of making payment transaction.
when it comes to Invoice, the system pop up both the Payment related/Invoice related tax codes that are applicable to the vendor.
So when you are processing invoice you need to make sure that the payment related codes are deleted or entered manually a zero value agianst those codes. This will prevent the calculation of tax again at the time of making the payment.
In your case you need to reverse the invoice and do it again or clear line items manually after passing a TDS JV.
    Hope you understood.
    Reward points if useful.

    Hi,
Without knowing the customer you can keep track of the amount which you had received.
but you can do like this for Which document  A/R  or A/p invoice the amount was received in this case you can collect teh amount by selecting ON ACCOUNT. and keep track of the vendor / customer balance.

  • What is procedure to post payment without reference

    Hi,
I need to be able to post a negative payment in SAP without any reference to the original payment. I was wondering what the best procedure is for this?
    Thanks.

    Dear:
Negative postings are most often regarded as outgoing posting in SAP. You can make and outgoing posting without invoice reference in F-53. For more information please refer to the link given

  • Link Payment To Invoice in SAP B1 2007A

    Hi All,
    I have a case like this :
Customer A have deposit $1000 without any sales order.
In SBO we entry that transaction as Incoming Payments from Customer A with Payment On Account $1000.
    Then
After one month, customer A want to buy items from our company $400
we enter that transaction as Sales Order, Delivery Order and AR Invoice to Customer A $400.
If we want to link the Payments $1000 and the AR Invoice $400, so the outstanding deposit is $600.
The Question is : In SAP B1 2007a, how to entry the transaction?.If we entry it as reconciliation, we need to entry adjustment jurnal to balance $1000 and $400.
In SAP B1 2005. there is Link Payments to Invoice Menu, so we can link the payment on account to Invoice. But in SAP B1 2007a I can't found it.
Anybody know how to resolve the case in SAP B1 2007?

    Hi,
The internal reconciliation feature in B1 2007A can't do what Ratna want.
    Try to test this example:
    - Customer transfers 10,000 USD for pay their invoices in the future.
Cashier will use incoming payment --> tick payment on account and input 10,000 USD. then she uses bank transfer account as payment.
    The journal is :
    Cr. A/R account 10,000 USD
Dr. Bank transfer 10, 000 USD
    - Customer purchased a certain item and then an invoice created for the customer. This invoice directly reduces the deposit on the customer A/R account to be 9,000 USD. The journal is a standard invoice journal but the balance due of the customer still exists. It means that there is no system reconciled yet.
    - To reconcile, open reconciliation form under Business partner --> internal reconciliation. Tick the open invoice and using the adjustment, select create journal entry and then select the bank transfer account and then add the journal entry. After that, reconciliation is made. It will make the customer deposit become 10,000 USD again. if both are reconciled (1st incoming payment  and the invoice) by creating a journal entry, it will debit the customer A/R account and credit bank transfer account. The result after reconciled is zero account balance of the customer. Does it means that the customer still have the deposit ? I am sure it won't.
    Rgds,
