hi all , I got an email invoice from itune store([email protected]) for £69.99 for Tom tom Europe,I was not aware of this download and checked all my i devices but did not download it anywhere. There is a link for cancellation and it opens up a form with all detail including bank card and pin details. I suspect it might be a spam . Kindly could someone advice on this. Thanks

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on an iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then you could try tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store on iOS 6+) and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

App store payment method from ipad2

When i try to pay for an app on the app store it tells the payment does not match my banks records. It might be due to the fact that my ipad is bought in the US and my cards italian. The form it uses has US INFORMATION TO BE FILLED. This may be the cause (but then how do i change that form?)or otherwise is smtg else i don't know.

Scroll to the bottom of the App Store and change countries. You must use the Italian App Store to purchase apps in Italy, as well as, have an Italian bank card with a billing address for the account in Italy.

Step number one - Back up all your important data!
Seriously, it sounds like you are working without backups. Don't ever do this. Hard drives fail, it is a fact of life. Don't be one of those who get caught without a backup. An external hard drive, burning it all to DVDs, or online backup will save you frustration and money.
Two - don't expect a new operating system to improve performance. Get the computer running as best as it can before you upgrade. You may need more RAM or a bigger hard drive.

App store payment methods

I had the original pre and the plus and now would like the pre2. However i had the same problem with both of those phones and do not want to purchase the pre2 if it is still an issue.
The problem was not being able to buy apps due to not having a credit card. Are there any alternative methods of payment now or is it still meastro or visa credit cards? I have a visa debit which did not work last time round.
Any advice on this would be great

I agree its been an ongoing problem for a while. Its so much easier on apple. However i have faith in Palm/HP im hoping with the new stuff coming out we will see a better system for apps etc...
Also i dont think you can beat webos, its a great operating system. I went back to iphone after my pre plus and found it very restrictive even with there multitasking efforts in iOS. Back to palm now though

ITunes and App store payment info verification issues

So I'm trying to download apps or music straight to my new upgraded iphone 3GS with the 4.0 software and it refuses to verify regardless of the fact I've entered the correct security code for the card. It says the information does not match my banks info and won't process. I've updated and reissued one click payment info on my apple ID and it refuses to process. I've purchased other items online with other websites without an issue using the card information and security code so I don't feel its the banks or the cards fault.
What can be done?

I guess you are referring to your credit card (and not credit car), and that you are talking about BlackBerry World (and not BlackBerry App World).

App Store payment time?

I was wondering how long after you receive your financial report does apple direct deposit the money into your bank account? I received my financial report 4 days ago but have yet to see a deposit.

I am wondering this too. Still haven't received August payments and it's already October.
All the stuff in iTunes contract has been green and ready for 6 weeks. There should be 3 regions WAY over lower payment limit.
Should I contact iTunes or still wait?

Can not do anything on the app store ( need to update my payment method)

Ok, so i got my ipad about a year ago, and for the first three months, i have been using itunes cards to download stuff from the app store. Soon after this, i realised that since i dont really go out, it could be a bit of an inconvenience for me, so i decided to use my debit card instead. Things were great, until i reslised i had no money left on my account, which apple notifies you of by saying "your payment method has been declined". At first i was confused, but after trying to buy things from amazon and steam and getting the same error, i realised that i had no money. This is where the problem began. The fact that i couldnt buy apps didn't bother me, but what DID bother me was the fact that i couldn't update my apps, download free apps or even install apps i have already payed for without getting that **** error message. This lasted for a little while before i got more money on my account and it worked again. But that isn't the end of the story, about a week ago, i could no longer do anything on the app store without getting that error, EVENTHOUGH i have money on my account. I knew this because right after that error messaged popped up for the trillionth time, i brought a book from amazon with absolutely NO PROBLEMS.
I am so irritated. Fix this apple!

Iphone's App store rejects payment method, even for free apps! Someone please help me!

Last night i downloaded some apps, that i had to pay for using my Visa Credit Card. I have had this set as my payment method for ages. Anyway, it all worked and i got the apps, but today i tried to download another app, which was free and i had to sign in to my Apple ID or whatever the prompt is, so that i could download the free app.
I signed in and recieved another popup asking me to sign in and review billing information. I pressed OK and signed in again and was taken to the billing information and payment information page. On this page it says that there was an error with a previous purchase from the App Store and that i must check all my payment information is correct. All the information that i had entered there when first adding my payment method was still there. Except for the security code.
I re-entered the security code and pressed done, and the page said that the payment information was not valid, or not allowed and asks me to change my payment information and / or method. So i re-enter all my information for my payment method and it still doesn' t work. It still says that there is an error with a previous purchase and that i must recheck or change my payment and billing information. The error cannot be right though, as all the apps that i have either downloaded or bought have downloaded fine.
Sometimes the error message changes to saying my payment information has been rejected, which cannot be right either, as i was using the payment method yesterday. I know i don't have any funds in my account at the moment, but that should not be relevant as i am trying to download a free app.
I tried downloading different free apps, but was unsuccessful.
Because I spent around an hour or so trying to download the app, i then downloaded the lastest software update, which was 6.0.1 or something. I updated from the 5.something software.
I was still unable to download anything from the app store.
I have tried to edit the billing and payment information from the App Store, Safari on the Iphone and from Google Chrome on my computer, none of these have helped.
If someone has a soloution or if Apple can sort my account out, i will be so grateful.
I use an Iphone 3gs and updated the software on it after my payment information wasn't working for about an hour.

This happened to me about a year ago, call Apple customer service and they should be able to help. It had something to do with Apple's system not reading the credit card info correctly even if it had been stored and worked fine before. They fixed my problem instantly after I wasted alot of time trying to get things to work.

HT201303 I have a new bank card and cannot change my old details to my new ones in app store. Every time i try it says payment method denied. Does anybody have any advice ive been trying for ages!!!

I've created a new library on the same computer as my existing account and I've also created a new apple Id for my mum. But now I'm being told that I have to put in bank details because its new I don't want to enter them as I'm only ever going to use a voucher. But I cannot go any further until I enter them. App store wont let me change my payment information

I recently lost my old debit card and now whenever I try to download any app (both free and $ ones) the app store wont let me because its asking for my old security code from my old debit card. I have tried changing my payment informaiton both from my phone and at the apple website but its not letting me. How do i fix this?? Is it even possible to change payment information?
