Apply Technote b39b42b5

Is there any one successfully applied Technote b39b42b5 to
Cold Fusion ver 7.0.2 using Adobe instruction and its posted
download link. According to Adobe instruction, I supposed to
replace the smack.jar file with a new one. Adobe posted a link to
download this smack.jar file. When I clicked on the link, it
downloaded a smack.zip file instead of smack.jar file. I unziped
the smack.zip file but could not find smack.jar file any where. I
appreciate for your help.

The technote should hold valid for 3.0 also.
If the problem is related to ODBC error, the following post contains several suggestions to solve this problem:

If none of the suggestions work, try loading the latest version of MDAC from Microsoft.com. This was also a suggestion in some post in the userforum and seems to have solved the ODBC problem for some users.

Concerning your your actual XML file it depends how your XML is defined:
is the signature part of the XML schema?
Which part(s) of the XML should be signed (complete document as a string or certain parts only)?
Will the signature be calculated over the tags and their attributes or their content only? (i.e. does intermediate white space between tags and attributes matter...)

Unable to edit Dreamweaver tamplate applied Page.

Hi,
I was creating site in dreamweaver using templates and !st I
created a
template by desgining the page, then I saved that page and
one more template
page using save as command. Unfortunately there was design
problem in my
initial template which I don't like and I deleted it. Now I'm
having the
second page only.
Now the problem is that dreamweaver doesn't allow me to edit
the non
editable regions on the second page which I'm having, because
its regions
are locked. But I want to edit on that page so that the same
template can be
applied throughout the page.
So I will Highly appriciate if anybody who had already solved
this kind of
problem and can solve the problem as a hobby and wants to
share the
knowledge.

Applying a new template to entire site?

Is there an easy way to apply a new template to the entire
site? I created a new template and I can open each page
individually and click MODIFY/TEMPLATES/APPLY TEMPLATE TO PAGE but
there has to be an easier way to apply the new template to the
entire site without having to open every single page in the
site.

That would be true ONLY on pages that are already child pages
of templates.
Try it on a page that is not a child page, but that has
existing content.

Can DW apply a 'master' template ACROSS sites?

Hi,
I'm using DW8.02 to manage several sites.
While each site does have its own 'local' template in the
Templates directory, I want to implement the idea of a 'master'
template that applies to ALL sites. This master template will
contain stuff common to ALL my sites, and each individual site's
template will be nested within this master template.
What I'd really like to be able to do is to define this
'master' template once only (in one of my sites) and have it update
ALL sites (not just the one I've defined it in) when I change it. I
can't find a way of doing this -- does anyone know how to, please?
The problem I seem to be having is that DW seems to treat different
sites completely separately, and that there seems to be no notion
of considering other sites during template updates.
(I know I could have a duplicate copy of the 'master'
template for EACH site, but then I would have to update it in
several places whenever there are changes!)

Applying CSS classes in DW 8

Hello!
The good old Dreamweaver 4 had a wonderful panel, with the
css classes
listed on it, that could be open all the time, where you
could easily
click and apply a class to a selection.
This panel has vanished in subsequent versions (probably for
good reasons).
But still...
My question is: is there an extention somewhere that provides
this
functionality?

That "Apply" button was removed because it caused problems.
Clicking it
more than once could result in multiple spans wrapping the
tag, as I recall.

Specified in jnlp jvm argument but not   applied   by browser

jlnp file specifies passing passing vm arguments   using java-vm-arguments attribute , it also provides list of acceptable arguments as mentioned here http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/technotes/guides/javaws/developersguide/syntax.html.
In my case , jvm argument is   -Djava.security.debug=sunpkcs11,pkcs11. I added   this to jlnp file but this is never loded by the browser jvm. This is not mentioned in the above link so can this argument be passed to an applet?

Dreamweaver 8 error message when applying command

I need some help, I have a Mac OSX with system 10.4.8
When I used to use Dreamweaver MX 2004, I never used to have
no problems when I used to save steps through the history option
and apply them as a command.
I removed all my extensions, and installed twice!!
But with dreamweaver 8 I am getting this message everytime:

The functioin detachfromTemplate() is currently

Why does the CSS Styles panel never show the style applied to
a selected element? For instance, I can type a sentence, browse the
available styles (CSS Styles - All), right click on a style, select
apply, and the sentence is correctly formatted. Everything works as
expected and the page displays correctly; but, when I click on the
"Current" view of CSS Styles, the only thing it ever says is "No
CSS properties apply..." even though a CSS style clearly has been
applied and is working correctly. What am I doing wrong?

I'm very new to Dreamweaver (one week), so I apologize if my
question is
elementary.
This is what I' like to do:
I'm working with the design interface, not directly coding.
I have many frames on a page and I'd like to apply the same
CSS to all of
them so they all take the same color, border, typography...
but of course
NOT the same position! Also, later I can modify all of them
by just making
changes to the CSS (for exemple, the background color).
But the CSS affects the positions of all the layers. I tried
the "stable"
option in positioning but the layers still move (in another
way but move).
Is this possible? How can I do?

Applying templates to entire site in DW 8

I administer a large Intranet and currently all the pages are
attached to a single template.
As part of a rebranding exercise, I have created new
templates for each specific area of the site. I know that I
can’t do a find and replace on the .dwt file in the pages but
how can I apply specific templates to specific folders in the site
without having to open each file individually and apply the
appropriate template manually?
Any advice gratefully received.

Applying Updated Templates

When I am applying an update templates file.dwt to the
current page (Modify - Templates - Update Current Page), an error
message pops up

There is an error at line 16, column 87 (absolute position
664) of "N:\20-Marketing-Comms\Marketing\WEBSITE\BHRC
website\html\Templates\BHRCcontent.dwt": Nested editable regions
Does anyone know what this means and how do I get around it?

Apply CSS to Flash Movie?

If I want to apply a class to a flash movie, where do I place
it in order
for it to listen?
Here's my code:
