Arduino - LDAC - SPI - urgent!!

Hi,
I am completely new in labview coding. I have an arduino nuo chip, connected with a DAC converter, AD5504, Analog Devices, and an operational amplier (OPA551, Texas Instruments) circuit to generate voltage output for piezoelectric firing. The wanted voltage output ranges in 0 - 60 v. However, under my coded program, there is either no voltage output or very low output, like 1.5 V. In the rare case of low voltage output, the voltage is not changable, by applying either digital write () or PWM write pin (). In the attached vi it gives error 5004 at running. Please look through my coding and help me figure it out.
This is urgent so a quick favor is needed.

The error is 5004, occurred at 'SPI data'.
ERR5004: SPI Send Receive. The word size is invalid for the number of SPI bytes to be sent. The number of SPI bytes to send must be divisible by the SPI word size.

Need some quick help - fairly urgent!

I've just taken over a new job and have been the task of finishing the new brochure for Christmas, there's not a lot to do but a lot of the measurements need changing
This is the layout I'm dealing with..
All the boxes have been made in Illustrator
The text has been done in In'Design and it seems every piece of text is it's own box if that makes sense
My question is, if I select the whole specification box - copy, paste it into Adobe Illustrator and change the text there, then paste the edited box back into In-Design, will I lose quality when it gets printed?
I'm worried if I do it this way it may come out blurred? Or am I just worrying about nothing?

I couldn't find an Illy file in the end and have ended up creating tables in ID to replicate what was already there!
Didn't take very long and I guess if I didn't do it now, I'd come across the same situation next time!

There certainly are viable "quick fix" solutions proposed here, and if the dealine is looming and this file never needs to be touched again I might be tempted, but they are only postponing the pain for a file that needs periodic updates, and I wouldn't waste effort on them, myself, when that time can be put toward a proper rebuild now if that's the ultimate goal.

Essbase 6.5 External Authentication Issue!! Urgent Please!!

Hi all,
I am great trouble over an external authentication issue in Essbase 6.5. I request you all to please give me your feedback on the same as soon as possible.
I am in a situation where I need to get my Essbase 6.5 external Authentication converted from LDAP to Active Directory services.
I suppose there has been necessary changes done to the .cfg file for the same. However, I think I am getting an error
"User [vikc]'c external authentication protocol [MSEX]'s password check module is not loaded".
Please let me know if you have come across such an issue earlier and can anybody to able to help me with the same.
Its kinda Urgent. so any replies for the same will be appreciated.

Yes you will have to reconfigure the CSS.xml and cfg file for external auth.

USB to SPI

Hi
Can we read USB device using Labview 8. Our application can be better explain with the help of attached block diagram. Please find the attached Document. In this application , we are using a sensor having SPI interface.Then with the help of National Instruments USB to SPI converter we are interfacing it with the PC.
My question is can we read the data from a sensor which is connected to PC using NI USB to SPI converter.
Please reply as soon as possible since it is very urgent.

In one of our application I have to read the internal register values of the sensors. I am using NI 8451 card.
Pin Details of the sensors are-
SDIO – Serial Port Data Input & Output
XY_LED – Led Control
NRESET – Reset Pin (active low input)
NCS – Chip select (active low input)
VDD5 – Supply voltage
GND – Ground
REG0- Regulator Output
SCLK – Serial Clock Input
My question is NI 8451 is having separate pins for SDO & SDI But sensor is having one pin for SDIO. How to connect them ,I have to read the register values & some registers are read/writable.??
Please reply as soon as possible, it is very urgent

Note:
I'm not sure where the In-Process report server is looking for the classpath. I added them in all possible classpaths ans none of them worked.
This is an urgent issue in our team. We are migrating from 10g oracle application server to fusion middleware 11g report server. This functionality is working in 10g report server but not in 11g due to classpath issues.
Please let me know if additional info needed. Please respond.

Thanks very much for responding. I added my jar file(customdest.jar) as you have suggested to setDomainEnv.sh. Now the In-Process report server just hangs when I try to bring it up through em and I don't see any errors in the log files. Any ideas where to look for errors? The jar files were created for 10g , we are just migrating them to 11g. I have setup the trace at highest level still don't see any error in rwserver_diagnostic.log.

No more error logged after this line. but in-process server just hung up indefinitely when I tried stating via the em and also via getserverinfo URL.

Apologies, I resolved this myself. Was not obvious and no error logs indicated what the problem was.
Turns out that the initial configuration of tablespace data files was incorrect. Even though it matched the correct size it tried creating them as 1 file and subsequently ran out of file system space.
After realising this I changed the values and adjusted the tablespaces post creation.

Partiendo de la base que ya tienes instalado Labview y el IDE de Arduino en el mismo computador.
Ya se que es lo que te pasa. Primero que todo lo que me enviaste es solo el codigo de programación del arduino, en ese mismo codigo arriba donde dice #include, estas agregado bibliotecas, eso significa que estas incluyendo en tu codigo una biblioteca de arduino que es más codigo pero que esta dentro de un archivo y eso te permite ahorrarte el escribir funciones y declaracion de variables que alguien más ya las hizo, ahora las bibliotecas wire.h spi.hp y servo.h probablemente las tengas, no lo sé, pero tendras que meterte a la carpeta de C en windows donde tienes instalado el arduino y ver la carpeta libraries ahi es donde se pegan las bibliotecas que muchas de ellas las descargas de internet y luego de pegarlas, reinicias el IDE de Arduino y ahi puedes llamarlas desde el codigo que este escribiendo en el arduino mediante #incluye.
Ahora con respecto a la biblioteca labviewinterface.h, esta es la biblioteca que trae todas las funciones y variables que labview requiere para comunicarse con el arduino, esta biblioteca no la tienes instalada por eso en el mensaje de error te aparece que la variable no fue declarada y eso sera con todas las variables que estan en la biblioteca labviewinterface.h ya que las estas llamando pero no estan declaradas por que no haz instalado la biblioteca.
Ahora, todas la bibliotecas que se utilizan para comunicar el arduino con labview junto al codigo que es el mismo que tu me mandaste vienen en un archivo el cual se instala automaticamente una vez que hayas descargado el "labview interface for arduino" que es un toolkit gratuito para labview. Estes toolkit para Arduino se baja con un software de National Instruments que se llama "VI package manager" y el cual se descarga desde http://www.ni.com/white-paper/11611/en
Una vez que hayas instalado el VI package manager, instalas el "labview interface for arduino" con esto ya tienes la mitad del trabajo hecho.
Ahora abres el IDE de Arduino y le pones open para abrir un proyecto y vaz a la carpeta de esta ruta en windows C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\vi.lib\LabVIEW Interface for Arduino\Firmware\LIFA_Base
Con eso ya tendras listo el codigo para subirselo al arduino que este utilizando, y debes hacer las modificaciones correspondientes en el codigo de arduino de acuerdo al arduino que quieras utilizar.
Luego de ello te vaz a Lbview y programas lo que quieras y podros controlar el arduino desde labview.

I am stuck on spi read/write palet. How to read 12 bit max reading and convert it to temperature in degree celcious?
Max6675 produce output in 12 bit, and measure 0-1023 centegrade. According to this the
Temperature (C0)= max6675 output (12bit)* 0.25. how to set this formula in labview?

Any LabWindows/CVI examples for SPI communication using DAQmx?

I have a PXIe-6363 module in a PXI running as a real time target, and I'm trying to talk to an accelerometer that communicates with SPI. I know the 6363 isn't one of the special modules built for SPI, but my understanding is it should be capable; the issue is just the programming. I've seen examples of this for LabVIEW using DAQmx. Are there any examples out there for doing it in LabWindows/CVI?
I'm looking to save time and avoid reinventing the wheel here. SPI is easy on an Arduino, so it should be doable in LabWindows/CVI, right?

Hey Matt,
I was unable to find any full examples of SPI communication with DAQmx in C. My best suggestion would be to use the LabVIEW examples and implement the same series of function calls to implement the LabVIEW code in C. The DAQmx C API is good about keeping a standard with naming conventions to map with the function names in LabVIEW.

Form-factor of Arduino R3 pin layout on FRDM-K64F

Hello,
I have just got my FRDM-K64F board and I'd like to add a few sensors to it to test it out. I've read that the board has a form-factor of Arduino™ R3 pin layout and I am not sure what that means when I am buying sensors (i2C, SPI, UART interfaces) for this board. I understand that I can just connect any sensor using a breadboard and cables but I was thinking that maybe this Arduino R3 pin layout is something that makes it easier?
As you probably can see, my HW skills a nothing to brag about....

Hi Andy,
we've experienced the board with GSM modem arduino shield without any problem. You only need to check revision of your board since one of the first version contains a bug with incorrect pin routing that affects I2C (or SPI I don't remember)

Logical command in ABAP.....Urgent

i am pretty new using ABAP program so i neeed help urgently. i am trying to move a file on the application server from one directory to the other and i was using the open dataset function to do that. but the file i am trying to move is pretty big and because i am using internal table to store, it is causing problems with the space.
i have consulted the basis guys and they have managed to create a logical file for copying from one directory to the other on the application server. to help you furthter. i am enclosing the mail sent to me.
I have created a logical command which should copy the file from one location to the other but you need to pass it the source dir and file name and the destination dir and file name.
The logical command is ZCOPY and uses cmd /c copy
Copies one or more files to another location.
COPY [/V] [/N] [/Y | /-Y] [/Z] [/A | /B ] source [/A | /B]
     [+ source [/A | /B] [+ ...]] [destination [/A | /B]]
source       Specifies the file or files to be copied.
/A           Indicates an ASCII text file.
/B           Indicates a binary file.
destination Specifies the directory and/or filename for the new file(s).
/V           Verifies that new files are written correctly.
/N           Uses short filename, if available, when copying a file with a
               non-8dot3 name.
/Y           Suppresses prompting to confirm you want to overwrite an

/-Y          Causes prompting to confirm you want to overwrite an

Análise de vibração de um motor a partir de Arduino e identificação de falhas

Olá a todos. Sou novato no mundo do LabVIEW, por isso gostaria de uma ajuda de vocês. Tenho em minha faculdade o LabVIEW 2010.
Estou realizando meu projeto de final de curso e tenho como objetivo identificar falhas em um motor a partir da vibração medida com um acelerômetro. Para explicar melhor meu objetivo, separei ele em três problemáticas:
- Aquisição de dados:
O primeiro passo é realizar a aquisição dos dados provindos do sensor. Visando baixos custos, opitei por usar o conjunto Arduino + Sensor ADXL345. Porém tive dificuldades em utilizar o protocolo I2C com o LabVIEW usando o LIFA (LabVIEW Interface for Arduino). Acabei optando por utilizar o próprio Arduino para medir a vibração e usar o VISA do LabVIEW para realizar a aquisição de dados. Para isso utilizei o VI em anexo que encontrei na internet. ele funciona muito bem, mas gostaria de utilizá-lo como Sub-VI em outro VI, já que o acelerômetro tem três medidas (X, Y e Z) e estou tendo dificuldades para isso, graças ao White Loop. Tirando o White Loop e os Switches, não consegui fazer dados saírem para outro VI, alguém pode me dar uma luz?
- Tratamento dos dados:
Antes de identificar o erro, gostaria de aplicar uma transformada de fourier nos dados que estão entrando (x, y e z) a fim de gerar um gráfico no fomínio da frequência. Alguém tem um exemplo de uso do bloco de transformada de Fourier no LabVIEW para eu estudar? Outras dicas são muito bem vindas.
- Comparação dos dados:
O último passo é usar alguma técnica de comparação de dados (como o Comparison Express) para comparar a vibração do motor com dados previamente armazenados em um arquivo de texto ou planilha, com a finalidade do LabVIEW identificar por conta própria qual é a falha presente no motor. Porém tive dificuldades em usar um arquivo como Input no Comparison Express, alguém já fez isso antes?
Enfim, agradeço antecipadamente qualquer ajuda que receber. Como sou novo no LabVIEW, estou tendo várias dificuldades, mas espero conseguir atingir meus objetivos. Lembrando que estou com o LabVIEW 2010, se vocês puderem compartilhar VIs compatíveis vão me ajudar muito.

Confirmation of balance - urgent

Hi,
We are using print program SAPF130K and SAPF130D for vendor and customer respectively.
My query is can we bring even the cleared items alongwith the open items in the same print program???
Now we have line items of open line items only?? As per our exploration into the program... we get only open items..
Also we are using SAP10 and SAP11 as the correspondence type.Kindly advise as to correspondence type should be changed so that it can print both the open and cleared items?
Please reply ASAP as it is very urgent.

FUNCTION IS NOT WORKING WHEN RUN IN SRW.RUN_REPORT, URGENT

I have a report. it has got 1 Query and 2 groups.

The Query looks like above. Now In the report I have a 3 User parameters . For Each record in G2 the functions Func4,Func5 and Func6 adds the value to the user parameters at the report level.
Now the Func1,Func2,Func3 takes the value of last 4 record for each item at each G1 Level and devides it by 4 and prints . As an example given below

This report takes an parameter which is part of the Where condition of the Query Q1. If I run this report from the report builder and provide the value for the parameter then the report runs fine printing the exact values. If I run the report from another report(which I have to do, due to circumstances) using SRW.Run_Report and pass the parameter in the same command. The the function FUNC4, FUNC5, FUNC6 does not do the addition, as a result the Func1,Func2,Func3 returns 0. I dont know why this is happenning .
This is very very URGENT, My project manager is on my head to finish it ASAP. Please help.
