AS2 Issue

Hi,
I configured Acme and Global Chips for Custom Document over AS2 protocol. I am able to send the xml from Acme to GlobalChips. When i tried to deque in the global chips side, there were no message found. I cud not find any exceptions on both sides. Can anyone help me in this...

Hello,
Guess you are using some Document Routing ID in your AS2 Flow. Please take it off, or use it as a consumer_name while dequeing.
in BPEL
you can dequeue a specific document from IP_IN_QUEUE (through your BPEL process) by performing the following steps:
In B2B, specify a value in the DocumentRoutingId field of the Document Definition (for example: you can enter: 'HL7USER' or 'CUSTOMUSER'). Leaving that value blank causes B2B to use the default value of 'B2BUSER'.
In your BPEL process, configure your AQ adapter to dequeue from IP_IN_QUEUE, but specify the consumer_name value to match your DocumentRoutingId value. Typically, you may have been using B2BUSER as the value for consumer_name.
This will allow you to dequeue a specific document from IP_IN_QUEUE by leveraging the DocumentRoutingId field within B2B.

Sender AS2 Issue

Hello,
We are designing an EDI 820 interface from a third party to a file using AS2 inbound adapters with SSL. We have installed the certificates and they are showing status green in NWA. But the partner is getting a 403- Forbidden error.
I have checked the URL sent to the partner is valid. It comes with a status 405.
I have checked for multiple sender agreements but none although we have one for MDN with a diff receiver interface.
I have checked the public key of the partner and the private keys of us are properly set in the sender agreement.
I have checked the AS2 id used by the partner and us and they are set right in the party definition.
What else could trigger a 403 issue?

Hi,
The firewall proxy looks good as the network team could see a packet come and hit PI but then it never showed up in any loggs at PI.
Thanks Doss for the forum discussion link. It just made me think we have another sender agreement for our MDN with the same sender and receiver Party but with a different sender interface for the MDN. Could this be an issue as I dont see any problem with the SSL setup?

Seeburger AS2 issue after PI Upgrade to 7.31

Hi,
After we upgrade the PI from 7.11 to 7.31, we have the following error when we test the Outbound AS2 scenarios.
Message could not be forwarded to the JCA adapter. Reason: Fatal exception: javax.resources.ResourceException:

What is the SP and patch level of your PI 7.31 system? Also, what is the version of your Seeburger installation, and was it upgraded as well?
You can refer to Stefan Hilpp's guide for upgrading Seeburger Upgrade Guide available for Seeburger EDI-Adapters , as well as check OSS note 890721 for the compatibility matrix.

BizTalk AS2 Issue

Hi,
We have setup BizTalk AS2 and we are receiving the following error for the specific send port (on outbound):
The adapter failed to transmit message going to send port “” with URL “”.
It will be retransmitted after the retry interval specified for this Send Port. Details:"Unable to read data from the transport connection: The connection was closed.".
Note we are sending to the same URL for another sendport (and its working fine), but we are changing the AS2 ids (as one is for a canada and another is for US). Any direction would
be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi Jacob,
I understand that the same URL is working, but how about the party configuration and its association with the send port? Have you changed/updated the party when you change the URL? Check it.

As2 issue with loader

I have been working on this
for a minute and cannot seem to find out where I am going wrong been over the code several times and get the same result
In my first layer I have 3 frames with unsing as2
Layer 1 frame 1 i have action script

Layer 1 frame 2 I have actionscript

Layer 1 frame 3 I have actionscript

Everything works as it should the only problem is the loader only starts loading at 50% and loads correctly it doesnt seem to start at 1%
also I just noticed i changed the bg color to black and noticed it stayed white and the loader nor the bg color showed until 59% loaded

i dont have anything marked for xport i went to publish settings and it says
frame 1 but how do i get rid of it cs5

I'm having an as2 issue loading external swfs

I have external swfs loading into a main swf, and the
different subpages in the same fla but encapsualted within
movieclips and each movieclip is on a different layer in the
timeline. The trouble is that I can't disable the buttons on the
different layers so if a particular page loads all the hit states
are still on the stage even though I cant see the actual button.
This is the code I think needs to be changed I tried modifying the
for loop, but I don't know how to go about disabling those
hitstates Ex. I'm on the contact page but hit states from the home
page are causing the mouse icon to chnge when rolled over. I added
this to the for loop but it just broke the swf:

_root.mcPages.mcSection1.home._visible = false;
I think since its externally loading I need to use relative
targeting or use _level?? instead of _root

CS5 AS2 mac projector screen flicker–no flicker from CS3 projector

I've been working on a flash project for a while using a G5 PowerPC, 10.4.11, Flash CS3 using AS2 and publishing a mac projector/Windows exe. Mac projector has always worked fine. So has the exe. I just upgraded to an iMac, Snow Leopard 10.6.8, AMD card and Flash CS 5.5 v11.5.0.325.
I'm using the same CS3 AS2 flash file from the old G5 CS3 setup on my new Snow Leopard Mac CS 5.5 setup. When I publish it, the mac projector flickers like crazy. It looks to be an animated png issue. But I have never had that problem on my old slow G5 - the projector always played perfect, no flicker.
On this CS5.5 generated projector, the flickering occurs on the splash - large png files, but my G3 never had one issue. Also, my small png rollovers flicker - not just the animation. And the screen flickers non stop when there's no mouse activity.
I copied over a backup of my CS3 generated projector onto my new computer and played it to see if it was a graphics card issue. No flicker! The CS3 projector plays perfect on my new Mac. All content within the two projectors are identical - What gives?
Why is CS5.5 generated projector flickering, but the exact same file from a CS3 generated projector works perfect on BOTH computers?
I've spent several hours searching for the answer but can't find a flicker issue similar to mine.
I don't have bitmap caching enabled. I didn't change any of the default settings in CS5.5. I just copied the CS3 file to my new computer and published it, then I got instant screen flicker. I don't know what other settings to change for projectors. Never had performance issues with projectors or exe files, no matter how old the computer was that was playing the file.
This must be a Flash setting issue, but I can't find it.
By the way, the cs5.5 genertated exe file plays like a champ - no issues.
Ideas?

I also tried publishing the projector in flash player 9 and 10 to see if that would make a difference. It did not. I was publishing in flash player 8 on my old G5 computer and that's what I published it as through CS5.5 as well. That didn't work either. I'm search for some sort of fs command AS2 issue when using CS5.5 to see if I need to change the code, but have not found anything yet.
It's the full screen mode that is causing the flicker though - only when published from CS5.5. Full screen mode works out of a CS3 projector on both computers.

Interaction with Captivate within Presenter

I have an interactive Captivate (swf) file that I'm trying to get to work in Presenter. I have imported the file (which works great stand-alone) amd checked the box in the "Manage Flash" option. However, Presenter ignores the interaction and plays the cp file straight through without stopping/waiting for the learner to click on the item to go ahead.

Adobe Presenter 7.07 was released last week in conjunction with Adobe Connect 8.1.2 as well as Captivate 5.5. All three now are AS3 based and fix this very complex issue.

Adobe Captivate 5.5 has been released for awhile and was the first to move to AS3. Now all are in sync. Suggest running all previous content in Presenter or Captivate and then uploading again. That would convert any AS2 issues to AS3.

The setting i have made during configation are :
1> Reciver Party with Agency,Schema and Name entered.
2>Identifiers for both Sender and reciver channel fileld with values seeburger and AS2ID.
3>Used Sender uses Virtual reciver in sender aggremnet.
4> Reciever CC have modules localejbs/Seeburger/solution/as2 and localejbs/ModuleProcessorExitBean in sequence.
Please provide solutions to overcome the issue.
As this is prototyping, i have downloaded Free As2 client and trying to send files to that client from PI.

Hi Dinesh,
make sure to also configure a report channel (refer to the sample chapter in the SEEBURGER AS2 documentation) in order to receive AS2 MDNs for your sent message. Additionally report channels are needed if the SEEBURGER specific TransmissionReports are requested.

Encoding Issues in AS2 Adapter

Hi,
I have a scenario : AS2 (Sender) - IDOC (Receiver).
Third party is sending the EDI message which we successfully receive at XI and send an IDOC to R/3 system. Now the issue is :
EDI message has some Cyrillic characters (ISO-8859-5 encoded) in one field of the EDI message. But when we receive the message in XI the cyrillic characters get converted in some junk data and is send as such to the R/3 system. XI is not able to read the data in correct encoding. I have tried using "xmlAnonymizerBean" in the Module tab of the adapter, using it just before the Call Adapter but this did not solve the purpose.
Any idea how can we read the data in correct encoding in XI.
Also I asked them to send the data in UTF-8 encoding. They changes the encoding from there end and sent the data in UTF-8 encoding, but in this case the message did not get processed in Seeburger also. (did not reach XI).
Any help on this?

Issue with AS2 Adapter monitoring

Hi All,
I am using Seeburger AS2 Adapter in our XI project we are able to post and retrieve
messages through AS2 communication,but we are facing the problem of monitoring the messages if any incoming messages failed in the AS2 adapter only due to some network failure or some other issue we are not able to track which message is failed and what payload it contains as in Adapter Monitoring or communication channel monitoring AS2 Adapter shows the only "Failed Session"
Do we have any application to monitor it in XI.

Have you tried <b>Tcode SXMB_MONI</b> . In this by giving some details about your scenario, it will give you the information about all the messages which are successful or not. Here you can see the payload af successful messages and error in failed message by clicking on the perticular message.

AS2 Certificate widget scoring issue

I received a fix from someone on the Captivate forum that is supposed to fix the AS2 Certificate widget scoring issue. The results on my Score Results page appear correctly, but the results on the certificate do not match those on the Score Results page. I tried to use the fix the provided (another widget that you insert at the beginning of the project) but it did not solve my problem. I am desperate for a solution to this and have tested the project what feels like 100 times to try to figure out how to fix this problem. I apologize in advance if this has been addressed in another string. I have spent a great deal of time going through the forums and have found some discussion on this issue, but no concrete solution anywhere. Can anyone offer any insight?
FYI: I am using Captivate 4 and my project is set to AS2.

AS2 Certificate Issue

Hi all,
While loading AS2 certificate of the Trading Partner in our system it is asking for the password to unloack the certificates but when i contacted the Trading Partner they have not set any password for the certificates . Can any one help what could be the issue ?

Can be one of 2 reasons;
1. Your partner has provided you with the private key rather than the public cert. What is the extension of this certificate?
2. There is some enconding issue ; think Xi VA can import only, .cer, .crt and .der files; am not sure though.

Issues with Seeburger AS2 alerts

Hello All,
I am trying to setup an alert rule for any failures in the AS2 adapters.
I have created an alert rule in the RWB, with the adapter type as AS2.I have created the alert category as well.
When the AS2 message is unable to reach the destination system, the communication channel errors out with the description about the connection issue. But for some reasons, the alert rule is not called. I could see in the "SXMSALERT_LOGREADER" report that No active rule for this Adapter Framework exception. I have selected a * for all the filter criteria in the alert rule except for the adapter type (which is filtered as AS2).
Are my basis guys missing any alert enablement functionality while deploying the AS2?
Pls note that I am able to receive email alerts if the adapter type is selected as File or JMS instead of AS2.
Pls help me.

I'm resending this since I did not have any luck with it the first time.
We also have an oss note waiting to be responded on this subject.
When I send messages using Seebuger FTP adapter, I see the following information in the SAP message monitor -
"Message entered module processor exit bean and will be transferred to JCA adapter".
But does not get to IBM VAN mailbox. How do I trace from this point onwards.
Should I use Seeburger monitoring tool for this? If so, I don't see anything in Seeburger monitoring (used all criteria).
Please let me know if you have any information on this subject.
