Assistance in warranty

Hi
I have a problem with my Lumia 800. It is still in warranty but I bought it in Italy and now I'm living in Denmark. As far as I know, the warranty should cover it also in Denmark, but I have no idea about where I should go to have it reapaired. Anybody knows something?

The warranty should be valid. The link below shows Nokia's service partners in Denmark. You should contact one of them.

  • Problems with the technical assistance and Warranty in BRAZIL

My English is not the best, but I will do my best.
I've bought an Iphone 4 from a telephony company called TIM here in Brazil, and after 15 days the device was not working anymore. I sent it to the technical assistance 32 days ago, and they said yesterday that they don't have any iphone to give me, and they can't give my money back. So I spent R$2.000,00 (that is a lot of money here in Brazil), now I don't have my Iphone, and I can't buy another one because I can't have my money back. I am an iOS developper, and I really need my iphone to work.
The name of the technical assistance here is *Allied Advanced Technologies ltda*, they don't respect the clients and they are making a bad image of Apple here in Brazil. Change it please!
Please contact me to have the service order number of my device on Allied.

  • Technical service in my country

Good afternoon, here in Chile every computer apple entering the technical assistance under warranty, they claim fell liquid substance and therefore loses one year warranty. bad happens that's not true. what often happens is that maconline representative of apple in Chile, is a dirty business that does not correspond to what the customer search. again took an ipad 2 that had black spots on the screen. they gave me a diagnosis that had the screen, the battery and mainboard problem with manufactures. in my opinion they make that kind of diagnosis to take advantage of Apple and its consumers.

Finally computer responds with internal adjustment were made, budget is generated by logic card show visible sign of this spill and accidental damage is not covered by warranty .

  • Macbook Air won't charge or power on

My MacBook Air is 18 months old and won't charge or power on. Technicians diagnosed logic board needs replacing at a massive cost. Has anyone had similar issues or taken this up with Apple. They refuse to assist as warranty expired.

You are going to have to take the machine apart, and see what damage was done to the board that the MagSafe receptacle is attached to. Might be a single, broken connection. Might be much worse.

  • Moutain Lion free download, MacBook Pro Retina purchased through Cobone offer.

I have bought my MacBook Pro (Retina) through a Cobone offer.
Is my Macbook eligible for free Mountain Lion download ? (I have been waiting for my activation code for a week...).
    Thanks for your support guys.

    Thanks guys.
I couldn't find out if they're a certified reseller (i have sent them an email to ask them directly and didn't receive any response... which leads me to think they're not... )
However I am still hoping, there is no list of the certified reseller on the Apple website.
And I have just received a mail from apple saying i had not provided any receipt....
Indeed Cobone is like Groupon. I think i'm going to have to buy Mountain Lion.
How do you guys think this will impact apple assistance and warranty and all... ?

  • P'9981 PORSCHE DESIGN TOUCHSCREEN MALFUNCTIONING

Hello, My mobile has continuous problems of touchscreen malfunctioning.
When i remove the battery and assemble again, touch screen starts working for 30 minutes or 1 hour, but then it stops working, can you please advise of how do i return it for repair or replacement

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
What you describe could be software or hardware caused. But, since you have asked only about formal support for repair or replacement, then you need to review your original device purchase contract documents...those should contain whatever specific warranty/support methodologies apply to you. If you don't have those documents, then contact the seller from whom you bought it for advice and assistance. Warranty and support methods vary based on the specific terms of each individual purchase, so there is no way for anyone here to know that answer as it applies specifically to you.
    Good luck!

Good afternoon, I would like some information I have an ipod nano 6th generation and has the same one-year warranty is only 2 months of use, and it fell down and broke the glass of the display, I called technical assistance in Brazil and informed me that Brazil has no repair services for Apple, which was the basis of its price change in the exchange is not worth half the value of the product.
I wonder how I do to change this device without the expense of 50% for the same product is in warranty?
    Thanks in advance.

yes agree, plus a multinational seeing a product and has no technical assistance to do the maintenance then it's no use I buy a new product if it is damaged I will always be because it has no prejudice in this maintenance.
sorry but even more products coming from China to Brazil in technical assistance.

  • I have Iphone 4s that is on warranty but its screen has stopped working when i peek in with a external light it shows iphone disabled. and can not restore from i tunes as well. i am in pakistan and phone was bought from Canada. how can i get assistance?

hello can apple help me out.i am from Pakistan, i received iphone 4s as a gift, it was purchased in canada last march 2012. unfortunately its screen stopped working and inside screen when i try to look with external light. there was message "iphone disabled for 60 minutes" i tried restore but could not it downloads update but does not do anything i am heck upset its really something means to me alot. I tried to find out warranty claiming process but here in pakistan it has not been officially launched. Why so ? in a country where 50% people are using iphone and apple is not there? i was really shoked. well i really need help.please guide me how can i get it replaced or anything that can be claimed in warranty.it is still on warranty. But i am in pakistan where i can not find any istore where they deal with warranty. Please guide me i have studied alot and have read stories about people having same experience and apple helped them alot. I am amazed that i been giving marketing presentations on a brand which is not in my country but heared much "good" about you. and was having great experience of your device. Please dont make it true what i have heared about you.
    Regards.

Try restoring the iPhone to factory settings. If you are having difficult restoring, put the iPhone into Recovery Mode and see if that then works:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If not, or if a restore to factory settings does not fix the problem, then your iPhone may have a hardware problem. You can only get the iPhone serviced by Apple in Canada, so you will have to take the iPhone there or send it to someone you know in Canada who can get the iPhone serviced and send it back to you. The only option for getting service in Pakistan would be to pay some unauthorized repair shop to attempt a repair, after which Apple will no longer provide any service even in Canada.
    Regards.

  • HT203254 Hi, my machine started GreyScreen in march, 4 months after warranty, it continued till iStore send me to CoreGroup here in SouthAfrica, the technician said must run updates but he later said that it's my logikboard, pls assist, do I have to pay?

Hi. I bought my macbook pro in November 2011 at Incredible Connections in Johannesburg, South Africa, by 2013 march it had already started mulfunctioning, a grey screen had started showing up at startup, it started off with freezing while i was using it and at reboot the grey screen would show up and i couldn't continue working any furthure. I then took it to the istore whom were able to assist me at first and second.
It continued greying out and i was then send to the Core Group, the Apple technicians in Johannesburg. I was informed to come back within 48hours, I Called inthe 3rd day and i was told that the machine is undergoing physical tests, on the 4th day I went and my machine was given back to me, i was told that the machine is fine and I just need to run updates, but when I switched it on the grey screen persisted, it's almost as though the machine was never tested because the technician said he called me for passwords but he couldn't get hold of me, but the passwords were written on the job ticket, the ladies working there even showed him where I had written it.
I then asked him to double check the machine and before any sort of thourough inspection, he said the problem is the logik board, he went to the back of the ofice for 20 minutes, came back and said yes, it is the logik board, I then gave him my other machine to use the hardrive to check whether it responds or not, he said it doesn't respond and hence left the hardrive from the faulty machine in the working machine so I may access the data.
I was then given a quote that cost 1 third of the price I paid when I bought the machine. I use the machine for work and I really can't afford to pay so much money for a machine I literally owened for 1 and half a year, it is practically new and when I bought it knowing that it is quality and it will outlive any other machine inthe market. I am a huge fan of Apple Computers and have been for over 10years but I am dissappointed, I am disappointed because no one hears us out, a great product has been created and there is no other product inthe market that can match the kind of convenience that Apple has created but now it is starting to function away from it's core promise. We promised people something different inthe market but we are becoming more and more like these other brands, only more expensive.
I mean I saw all those posts about these faulty logik boards and even saw the class action filed against for defective logik boards but right now we are asking you guys to hear us out and point us to the right direction. We really enjoy your products and would like to continue so, but you are losing us. Please assist somehow. Hoping to hear from Apple About this issue, thank you.

  • Question about Warranty extension on Satellite A300-1EI

    Good day.
I need some information and assistance please.
I bought a laptop around mid September 2008 in Saudi Arabia. (Jarir Bokstore). The store had a promotion whereby you get the standard one year international warranty BUT they give you a further extension of a year (hence, 2 years in total).
I intended on purchasing an extended warranty for a three year period. I was told by the salesman that I can activate my "gift" warranty and later purchase another extendable warranty for a total of 4 year international coverage.
I registered the given warranty and it appears on the toshiba warranty portal.
However, when I returned to the store to purchase a further warranty extension I was told that you cannot register more than one warranty.
I found this strange and therefore did not purchase the additional extended warranty yet. I need to know whether this is actually true or will I still be able to purchase an extended warranty again. Seems I run into a brick wall when I ask the salemen . . .thought I would try the forum instead.
I need to get information from a reliable and trustworthy source.
The other news they also gave me is that they are awaiting news from Toshiba regarding the same subject.
    Kindly assist.
Thank you and eagerly awaiting a reply.
    Lukman

    Hi
As far as I know all Toshiba notebooks are covered by warranty for one year (12 month).
If you would register your notebook on the Toshiba European page you would get additional one year warranty; in total 2 years warranty.
    > The store had a promotion whereby you get the standard one year international warranty BUT they give you a further extension of a year (hence, 2 years in total).
The additional one year of warranty is not a gift from the shop. You will get this additional year of warranty always if you would register the notebook. It has nothing to do with the place where you have purchase this notebook.
    So now some words regarding your warranty extensions;
First of all you have to register your notebook on the Toshiba European page.
This registration will enable the additional second year of warranty. (as mentioned above)
Now if you want you can purchase further warranty packages.
Toshiba provides different packages and in your case I would recommend checking this Toshiba European page for more details:

  • Best Buy Geek Squad TV Warranty is Terriblw!

I'm in my third week of waiting and I still don't have my TV repaired! What a frustrating experience! I called Best Buy Geek Squad 17 days ago to report that my TV stopped working. I had purchased the repair warranty so I assumed I could get it fixed in a timely manner. Wrong. I had to call every single day the first week just to try and get a service date. Finally a repair service agreed to come out but cancelled without reason the same day. I talked to many Geek Squad personnel and was constantly transferred so many times to other people. Each time they expressed concern that my problem was not being handled but then promptly transferred me to someone else. On at least three occasions I was promised that someone would call me back to schedule service. None of those promises were kept. No calls were returned. In the second week I finally got a repairman to stop by the house. He told me he wasn't authorized to fix the TV, but rather had to figure out the problem and report back to Best Buy. He narrowed the problem down to three different components and left. I received a call from someone at Best Buy who told me that they were assigned to assist me through this process. It's been ten days and I haven't heard back from this person. My repairs were apparently approved at some point and I'm still waiting for replacement parts. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but was told by Best Buy that they couldn't do anything, such as replace the TV, for at least 30 days. So I'm in week three and still waiting!
I had this problem one other time and after weeks of scheduled repair appointments where the service personnel failed to show on at least three occasions Best Buy finally sent me a gift card to replace the TV. I should have learned from that experience. Now it's happened a second time! I've spent thousands of dollars over the years on TVs, computer systems, and electronics at Best Buy. I can assure you that after this experience my family and I will shop elsewhere for our electronic needs! I'm very disappointed!

    Hello usms2617,
I can’t even begin to count how many shows I watch on my days off from work. Because of this, I know I’d be frustrated too if I went without my TV for a long period of time, especially if a repair took longer than anticipated.  While rare, repair delays do occur and are usually due to part delays or technician availability. It seems though that there may be other issues in play though. I’m sad to hear that your TV repair hasn’t progressed as smoothly as we would’ve hoped, and I am sorry for any aggravation this has caused.
When one of our customers is underneath a Geek Squad Protection plan and a repair is necessary, we ask them to set up a service claim with us by either calling 1-800-GeekSquad or by scheduling an appointment online. There are times though when our Geek Squad agents are unavailable for certain areas, and our third party team takes over the repair to assist.  Upon review of your work order using your email address on the forum, I’ve found your repair is currently processing through one of these third party teams.
However, the quality of service should still stay the same no matter who is repairing your television. As we want to ensure that your television repair progresses as smoothly as possible from here, I’ve contacted Matt from our Special Forces team who handles situations likes yours. As your repair time is longer than normal, I understand he has reached out to you to discuss this further.
Please know that I will keep my case open with you and watch its progress as Matt and I are working together to resolve this. I appreciate your patience and I’ll send you a private message once an update is available. You may view it by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope in the upper right-hand corner.
    Thank you for posting!

  • How do I get Apple to stand behind their warranty and replace my defective computer? The hard drive has been replaced twice, the track pad once, and other hardware issues. Can anyone help me so I can get Apple to replace my defective

My computer has been a lemon. They refuse to properly diagnose, fix, and document my complaints regarding the multiple failures I have had with this computer. Also, I was told that upon my logic board being replaced back in April or May that the topic of replacing the computer altogether with one of equal equipment would be appropriate. Insofar, I have been to the store at least three times in the past month to discuss my issues with the computer that were not resolved when the hard drive was replaced in May. I was also told that the repairs on my system would be good for up to 90 days after the repair work was done and that I could buy AppleCare at the end of the 90 days in lieu of insuring a product that still had defects. I have been on the phone for what feels like hours with Apple trying to work this issue out but they are not wanting to stand behind their product nor are they willing to stand behind their warranty. The warranty expressly states that a computer can be replaced entirely if the defect is considered hardware malfunction and at the representative’s discretion. Every time I brought it in for repair it was due to hardware malfunction; however, they also said once that it was an accessory that I bought that was causing the problem which ended up not being the case after all. This is totally unacceptable. I also asked Mark from AppleCare to let me know what was repaired the second time the computer was put through a diagnostic at the Apple Store. Beachballs, Gears, excessive heat, not being taken seriously at the Apple Store, being insulted by a Mac Genius at the Apple Store, being misinformed by a Mac Genius, dealing with a misinformed Mac Genius. They replaced my iPod touch without much ado.  I was also accused by an Apple Genius of being "hyperbolic." He said this in response to my complaint of the computer melting--literally--items on my computer desk. I am either wanting a refund of my money or a replacement of my laptop. Also, I have lost an incredible amount of data on my computer due to the hard drive being replaced x 2. Not acceptable. Also, the Apple store is 1 hour from where I live. I am currently looking for employment and additionally have a legal case pending where I am the plaintiff. I have lost VERY important documents in both matters which has caused an extreme amount of stress. I do not need the added stress of an unreliable and unsafe computer. I also have been waiting for a call back from Kelly (left two voice messages with Kelly) and Mark (wrote an e-mail for which he has not responded to insofar) at Apple but have heard nothing from either one of them regarding the status of my computer. The only thing I received which was automated by the Apple Store was a confirmation that my computer was ready. I have requested documentation of what was done (basically, I am asking for the receipt) before I drive an hour to pick it up. Haven't heard anything. I brought this computer in on July 24, 2011. We are now upon August 2nd. When do I get to know what was even done on my computer? Do they really think that I am going to take back a computer into my possession only to have to bring it back shortly thereafter to address one of the many issues causing it to malfunction in the first place? I have owned 5 computers  since 1988. All of them PCs. This is my first Mac. Will it be my last?

The only people who can possibly assist you with this is Apple Customer Relations, call your local Apple contact number and ask for Customer Relations then explain your situation clearly and politely (be firm but don't rant).
You might want to investiage what the local laws are regarding defective goods and 'fit for use' definitions on warranties etc. Consumer Protection can be a useful tool to use or bargain with if needed ...
