Asterisk not seeing incoming calls

I have Skype Connect set up and an asterisk box set up to use it.  I can succesfully call out from asterisk, but I do not see any incoming calls on the number assigned to my Skype Connect Profile.  If I call the number it rings a few times then gives a busy signal.
Here is my sip.conf:

The last 3 lines were my best guess at how to tell it what the incoming call phone # is and I'm not sure it's entirely necessary.  Any thoughts?

Dear MRLindstrom,
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues receiving incoming calls to your Skype Connect Online number.
In looking at your Asterisk configuration, I would suggest changing your 'incoming call field' (the last 3 lines you have included below) to your 9905xxxxxxxxxx, rather than 281203xxxx.
Please make that change and let us know if you are able to receive calls.
Thank you,

  • Can not see incoming calls, like I could in PC Sui...

    Hi,
I had PCSuite (latest version off the web-update features) installed, I decided to click on the OVI Suite installation ...
I DL and Installed just fine, after useing the OVI suite and getting used to it i find that I am missing the "online" freatures, like incoming SMS and specially incoming calls are not shown any more.
I have E66 connected via USB in PCsuite mode, and compared to the PCSuite I could right away, before the phone even rang, see a pop-up on the screen, telling me that a incoming call is there.
I liked that feature, as you could click SMS, hangup etc .
How do I get the same feature in the "new" OVI suite ??

This is solved in release 2.0.2.42

  • I can not see incoming calls after LOLLIPOP update

Hi. When i get a call i cannot see screen, who is calling. It is necessary when phone is locked. Colud you help me?

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

  • I can't see incoming calls since update when I'm on the phone

I can't see incoming calls since the update when I'm on the phone with someone. The calls don't show up in my recent as missed either.

I went through the steps as suggested.
Until someone calls through, I won't know if my swap icon appears, and I can see who my incoming caller is. I'll let you know when that happens.
Geez, I have a 4 not a 5, no wonder my phone did not appear up to date!

  • Help fix my problem, I am not receiving incoming calls on my iphone4

When I am on the phone I can hear when I get an incoming call, but I do not see the call that is coming in. The calls do not show on the screen or give me the option to retrieve the phone call. I have checked the settings over and over, I have reset my cell, I have turned it of and on, and have had people call multiple times to see if it was working again. It has become a big inconvienience.

  • Why dose not see the call waiting notification when other party in a call with some one ?

why dose not see the call waiting notification when other party in a call with some one ?

Because that is not a feature of the iPhone (or of most phones). If someone does not answer when you call, it means they do not want to or cannot talk to you at that time. They could be on another call or they could be simply busy doing something else. Why does it matter which?

  • Cannot see Incoming call on Skype

I recently purchased a online number (US). My friends are  trying to reach me on that number, but the call does not show on my Skype. They leave a voice message and I get a notification of that and I can hear the message. Why am I not able to see a incoming call?

Yes, annoyingly there seems to be a bug somewhere. I'm in the UK, and I've got the same problem with a particular computer logged into Skype. Loads of other people have this problem, too.
Here's my earlier thread, but there are loads of them around:
    http://community.skype.com/t5/Online-Number/Once-a-call-to-my-online-number-goes-to-voicemail-all-ca...
Deleting two xml files sorts it out, until you miss another call and it goes to voicemail and the problem starts again...

  • Inter-Trunk not route incoming calls from out

    Hi,
I setup one extra gateway where I try to route part of our calls. So far I have success to route internal calls into there, but when I'm making a test call from outside that ends into "number is not used" problem.
    I have:
    - Route ready, elsewere the internal calls are not working.
    - PSTN usage, linked to the Route
    - Trunk configuration where I have selected the PSTN usage
    - Incoming numbers are coming in E164 format
I have also tested the "Test-CsInterTrunkRouting" and that gives "pass":
    FirstMatchingRoute : Description=;NumberPattern=^\+358123654789;Name=Test
                         Gateway;SuppressCallerId=False;AlternateCallerId=
    MatchingUsage      : Test PSTN Usage
    MatchingRoutes     : {Description=;NumberPattern=^\+358123654789;Name=Test
                         Gateway;SuppressCallerId=False;AlternateCallerId=}
But still, when I made a call from outsited the OCSLogger shows that mediation server try to offer call to Front-End which says only: "SIP/2.0 404 Not Found" and then bye-bye.
What is the missing magic, which made the mediation server to see alternative route? I hope it is not required that mediation server must be collocated on the Front Ends, as that one I do not have.
    Any good ideas?
    ps.
I'm not sure does it matter, but my Lync gives "SIP/2.0 403 Forbidden" when there is coming call from extra gateway. But as the calls into there works, then I don't see why external calls should not also work.
    Petri

Could it be even so, that intra-trunk routing requires consolidated mediation server? As the call is owned by the Mediation server (stanalone), and it is trying to offer that to FE. FE reply "does not exist". Because of the standalone Mediation
server does not have the call routing engine like FE have, the call is lost.
I started to think above as Lync users are able to call to that number. So FE is able to do the routing and get calls into the correct place.
I have to say also, I have read
Ken's blog about inter-trunk routing, I have to say that I'm not so sure what he means by this: "Fortunately, in most cases, adding PSTN usages to the trunk has no effect, since there is almost always a Lync user assigned to the incoming phone
numbers". Why to add additional routing for the numbers which are already inuse? I hope it is not required, that you need to have a users ID for each number you do the inter-trunk routing?

  • Sony Xperia Z3V sometimes not receiving incoming calls

Hello everyone! I bought a Sony Xperia Z3V phone on Verizon online and it works awesome but it has one issue. Lately, my friend texts me and says he's going to call me and I say ok. I wait for his call but never rings. He texts me and says he called me twice but my phone never rang at all! So I got my house phone and called myself but it didn't ring neither! I called myself 4 times and no incoming call at all! I left myself a voicemail and it did went through. Now here's the kicker, I have to make a phone call in order for the incoming calls to go through.... I tested that by calling my voicemail or house phone. After that, I called myself again and it went through. I asked my friend to call me back and it went through. BUT me making phone calls in order for the phone to receive other people's phone calls is not normal or supposed to be happening. What if I get an important call from someone and my phone doesn't get the call at all and I miss it?! Oh and the phone does have signal and is connected to wifi. No the phone is not rooted nor I want to root it at all. Anyone else dealing with this? Can anyone help me please and find a solution? Thank you.

Hi Phy, so when the probelm of not recieving phone calls happened again, I went to safe mode to see if the calls will go through and it didn't unfortunatly. Again I made a call to voicemail or house phone, then called myself and it went through. When I had it on safe mode, all the apps I had installed were removed. I went to check the already installed apps that the phone has to see if there is any corrupted app anywhere and they all seem to be working fine. What do you think is causing this? Do you have another solution? Thanks.

  • IPhone 5s is not receiving incoming calls

    Hi everyone,
I am having problems with receiving incoming calls after I got the 5s. Sometimes, it didn't even ring, just went straight to voice mail even though the signal was strong. Sometimes they have to call me up to 8 - 10 times for the phone to ring once and the other calls will appear as missed calls. Does anyone experience the same problem with the 5s? Should I bring it to the apple store for them to take a look?
    Thanks

Double check settings - do not disturb - off

  • Why does my iPhone 5s not receive incoming calls

My iPhone 5s does not ring when receiving incoming calls yet I have signal, do not disturb is off and I receive texts or voicemails notifying me of a missed call which I can return immediately. What is going on? How can I fix this?

Yes the ringtone works. I know you are trying to help however I am fairly tech savvy and have eliminated all basic user defined settings that could cause the issue. The issue is not that there is no sound the issue is that there is no call incoming notification at all. The call does not connect to my Boone to even make it ring and display as a missed call

  • BB will not Display Incoming Calls Contact Info

    Hi there,
I am a new user to the Black Berry world, and have encountered a problem I hope can be fixed.
I have 84 contacts in my Adress Book in my Black Berry 8900, all with 10 digit phone numbers linked to each.
I do not pay for caller ID through Rogers Canada (Just to let you know).
The problem I am having is that, when one of my contacts call me, even though I have there phone number in my contact list their name or picture does not appear. I simply get a pop up saying Incoming Call Unknown Number...
I've done some searching online and found that in some other black berries people had this fixed by turning off their content protection in secruity>General settings> Content Protection.
This however did not work for my phone.
I have had a Sony Ericsson W580i which was capable of doing this simple feature from over a year ago and was on the Rogers service for that phone too.
I just got off the phone with Rogers and they are claiming that without Caller ID it is impossible to do this simple feature on a Black Berry.
Hope I can have my issue solved here!
    Thanks in advance!
    Nick

Well, unless I'm missing it, none of those posts referred to not having the CallerID service provisioned on the line...rather, they seemed to be discussing getting callerID to display from contacts in the device address book versus the SIM. Personally, I have no use for my SIM...I'm on VZW, though...not sure if other devices or other carriers can handle a BB with no SIM. Probably not.

  • My skype to go number does not take incoming calls

No matter what phone you call from (U.S. landline, various cell carriers, U.K.) you get a message "You have reached a non-working number.  Announcement: 14 Switch 1, 8 dash 3."
I have plenty of credit in my account, and can make outgoing calls. But neither my computer when signed in or my stand alone skype phone (IPEVO) when signed in take incoming calls.  Do I blame Microsoft?
Either way, it would be nice if someone could help me trouble shoot so we could receive calls again.

    Hello,
A SkypeToGo # is the # you call to set up STG calls to your contacts. It's not designed to receive inbound calls which is why you are receiving that message.
To receive inbound calls you require a Skype OnLine #.
TIME ZONE - US EASTERN. LOCATION - PHILADELPHIA, PA, USA.
I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac
If my advice helped to fix your issue please mark it as a solution to help others.
