ATP result as non-integer quantity

I have a order which i created in UOM CAR.
1CAR = 150 PCE in my case
The ATP happens based on the Basic UOM which is there in Material master.
First UOM in order is converted to basic UOM. In this case 1 CAR = 150 PCE
Then ATP will be carried out.
After ATP  100PCE were available. So 0.66 CAR was confirmed in schedule line
But this is wrong and it should be in integer value only.
Is there a way i can make that happen. Some setting which i can do to avoid this.
Regards,
Aayush Jain

There is no standard setting to change this behaviour. The system will always exexute ATP in base unit of measure. In your example, if you want the 0.66 to be rounded, you eed to use a user exiot. An extract from the note explains how to do this:
If you nevertheless want to use a rounding function for the confirmed
quantities, the EXIT_SAPLATPC_002 function module is provided as a user exit for
changing the result of the ATP check. In this case, the T006-ANDEC and
T006-DECAN fields must be analyzed depending on the unit of measure used. The
T_MDVEX-MNG02 quantity can then be adjusted accordingly.
So you need to discuss this further with your ABAPers.

  • Where can i define a rule for copying ATP results to purchasing?

    Hello Gurus,
    Where can i define a rule for copying ATP results to purchasing? i read from http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/43/543835bc0f357ee10000000a11466f/content.htm that we can define this rule.
    Thanks

    Hello,
    i defined that part before, what i would like to define is below:
    Thanks
    ●     Rule for availability check
    Define a rule for copying ATP results to purchasing.
    This rule controls how the system behaves in material shortage situations, and how the delivery proposal (confirmation proposal) is displayed.
    <b>You can control the following factors in Customizing:</b>
    &#9675;     Display of results
    You define how the system copies results of the availability check to the stock transfer document. In other words, you define how the delivery proposal is displayed in the delivery schedule line view.
    You can choose between the following rules:
    &#9632;      One-time delivery (rescheduling: delivery proposal) – <blank>
    This setting corresponds to the system behavior up to and including SAP ERP Central Component, Release 5.0.
    &#9632;      One-time delivery – A
    &#9632;      Complete delivery – B
    &#9632;      Delivery proposal – C
    &#9632;      Selection window for material shortage (batch: one-time delivery) – D
    &#9632;      Selection window for material shortage (batch: delivery proposal) – E
    &#9632;      Selection window for material shortage (batch: complete delivery) – U

  • Block the ATP Stock for non-ATP checked items in BOP

    Hello GATP Experts,
    We have a strange and interesting scenario here with STOs. Let me explain step by step
    1) We don't do ATP check for STOs and hence a Z-check mode has been designed and it will be considered for STO documents
    2) Now, let us consider a situation where I have a stock of 100 CS for Material M1 at Plant P1.
    3) Let's say, a STO document gets created at 09:00AM in the morning with requested quantity 50 and as it doesn't do ATP check this will be fully confirmed
       and consumes 50CS of the stock.
    4) So, the net cumulative quantity that is available is 50CS.
    5) At 11:00AM,let us say; there is a sales order that was created for a quantity of 100 CS. As the sales document does the ATP check it consumes the only available 50 CS and gets saved with partial confirmaiton situation.
    Now, at 12:00 PM - We are running the BOP. When we run the BOP ; what standard SAP does is STO document (as per our business scenario, STOs has higheest priority and they fall on top of the list) gets skipped due to non-ATP check mode and full stock is allocated to the sales order which makes no sense to us which leads to over confirmation situation.
    We thought of exluding the STOs from BOP ; however - we end up in not re-scheduling the STO documents which would result in requiring a separate BOP to be run for the STO documents.
    FYI - We have contacted SAP and they have confirmed that the above mentioned behavior of the BOP is as designed and it cannot be changed.
    Is there any alternative solution for this ? Appreciate your valuable ideas.
    Thanks
    Babu Kilari

    You might have already considered this. pardon if this sounds dumb.
    see if you can pass STO's as a receipt in the scope of check for STO's. I presume it is requirement element in your case for ATP checking rule for STO's. Don't include these STO's in sales order checking rules.
    This may result in inconsistent ATP logic though. Alternately try creating a Z category for STO and call it a receipt. include this also in the scope of check for STO's.
    Try running BOP and see what happens. BOP on its own is not a gurantee that a requirement is always confirmed over another, whatever be the sorting criteria. If there isnt enough stuff, the system has its own internal logic of sorting too which probably treats priority by time of creation of the requirement.
    Publish if you meet any success. These ideas are just based on my fancies

  • Defining Working Times - Incorrect Scheduling Result for non-Working Date

    Hi All,
    We are on SAP R/3 46C and in the process of implementing 'Route Schedules' for our outbound delivery processing.
    One of the pre-requisite customising requirements for 'Route Schedules' is to maintain 'Working Times' for the Shipping Point for precise scheduling.
    We have defined a 24 hour shift between Monday and Friday in the 'Working Times' config (IMG -> Logistics Execution -> Shipping -> Basic Shipping Functions -> Scheduling -> Delivery Scheduling and Transportation Scheduling -> Maintain Working Hours).
    The 24 hour shift is defined as follows Start: 00:00:00 with a Finish at 24:00:00 (We initially had 23:59:59, however, encountered problems with this config).  We have also maintained a 24 hour Pick/Pack time in Customising, and we do not use Loading Times.
    We have encountered a problem when we key a Sales Order Item where the ATP confirmed qty Delivery Date results in a Material Availability Date on a 'Friday', in this scenario, the system determines a one day 'Loading Time' which falls on a Saturday at 00:00:00.  This outcome is incorrect on two levels - 1) we do not use 'Loading Times' in our system, 2) a non-working day (Saturday) has been selected.  An important exception to this outcome - if a Route is not selected for the Sales Order item, the outcome described above does not eventuate.
    Any assistance in explaing possible causes of this unusual result would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ravelle

  • Bing based federated result sources not returning any results for non-English languages

    I have a result source with this query:
    http://www.bing.com/search?q={?searchterms}  language:fr site:msdn.microsoft.com&format=rss&count=50&first={startIndex}
    This used to give me 40-50 results for common terms like download, blog etc.
    From today (7/14) IST, this source does not return any results. There are no results if I execute this query directly in IE either.
    Same behavior observed for: language:es, language:de etc.
    I do however get results as expected for language:en.
    Any idea what the issue might be?

    Hi Swapnil,
    According to your description, my understanding is that no results returned when searching with non-English in the Result Source query.
    I tested the same scenario per your post and I got the same results as you got.
    I recommend to change the language:fr in the Result Source query to be lang=fr to see if the issue still occurs.

  • ATP and reservation of material quantity

    Dear Gurus,
    I am trying to configure ATP and find that when i create a sales order using  a material that is not batch managed the correct message fires to let me know how much material is present and how much i can have. If i accept the proposed quantity and then make a second sales order  for the same material the system lets me know that i cannot have any of the material, this being because the material quanity would already be reserved by the previous sales order. this is how i would like it to work but when i use a batch managed material the reserved effect is lost, i get the message telling me how much of the product is available but the quantity once accepted in the order is not reserved.
    How can i solve this problem and can anyone send detailed instructions giving an example?

  • Non Stock / Quantity bearing Item

    I have a customer how is looking to add miscellaneous line items to a sales order or invoice for things such as Freight, Pallet Charge, and Rush Fee.  In other systems I have worked with I would create a part and flag it as Non Stock not Quantity bearing.  I don't see this option in ByDesign.  I can create a service for these parts however when we go to invoice the system generates two invoices one for parts and one for services.
    Has anybody come up with a configuration option around this?

    Now after doing all of those set up items I can't seem to see the surcharge menu where it is supposed to be.  Why don't I see under Freights Surcharges?

  • Incorrect result of multiplication for quantity fields,coverting LB to KG.

    Hi All,
    The requirement is to convert LB(pounds) to KG.The formula goes as follows.
    l_ntgew = vbap-kwmeng   *  w_mara-ntgew *  l_zcazz  .
    l_brgew = vbap-kwmeng   * w_mara-brgew  *  l_zcazz  .
    where kwmeng = '1' is ordered quantity,w_mara-ntgew = '0.157' is the net weight from mara and l_zcazz ='0.454'  is the conversion factor from LB to KG.
    This information is for material mara-matnr = '100014609'
    The result I am getting is l_ntgew = '71278.000' which incorrect.
    Actual result is = '0.071278' .
    Similar issues with l_brgew.
    The same code works fine in a custom program but the requirement is to modify userexit 'userexit_check_vbap using us_dialog' within include 'MV45AFZB'.Here it fails completely. We have tried all types of field declarations, be it float or packed or ntgew_ap(quantity field).
    Please help.Its urgent.Full points will be awarded to the correct solution.
    Thanks,
    Shamia.

    VBAP-KWLMENG is a quantity field associated with unit VBAP-VRKME. (sales unit)
    Try to use FM to convert quantithy from sale unit to base unit
            call function 'MD_CONVERT_MATERIAL_UNIT'
                 exporting
                      i_matnr              = vbap-matnr
                      i_in_me              = vbap-vrkme
                      i_out_me             = mara-meins
                      i_menge              = vbap-kwlmeng
                 importing
                      e_menge              = <qty in base unit>
                 exceptions
                      error_in_application = 1
                      error                = 2
                      error_message        = 3
                      others               = 4.
    Then multiply by <b>mara-ntgew</b> giving a result in unit <b>mara-GEWEI</b> then convert from this unit to KG. (same FM)

  • How to downsample (with averaging) by a non-integer factor?

    I am collecting data from a photomultiplier at 10MHz (from NI-PXI6115), to
    produce an image in which
    each pixel will be the average of several samples. That is trivial if the
    number of samples per pixel is an
    integer. But I need to be able to have the pixels created from an arbitrary
    DBL, like 3.5845 samples per
    pixel. (This is to satisfy the constraints of fast mirrors scanning a laser
    to
    produce the light collected by
    the PMT)
    I can't seem to find any VI that does this. How can I do this, and do it
    quickly (images are coming in from
    this 10MHz stream continuously, at about 10 FPS, and should be displayed
    continuously). I did find a vi to
    "align and resample" the data, but that does not seem to be able to take a
    running average. There is also
    the "decimate" command, which only decimates by an integer value.

All that I and an NI engineer came up with so far is to first upsample with interpolation by a large factor, then do the decimation with an integer that is my desired DBL multiplied by the upsampling factor. Any more efficient ways do approximate this? Which specific VIs to use?
    Thanks,
    Steve Potter

    Have you tried the "Resample (constant to constant)" VI in the Signal Processing/Signal Operation palette?  This uses a filter to allow resampling of the signal at an arbitrary dt.  If you need a variable dt (i.e. your sampling rate changes with time), you could try fitting some function (say a cubic or bezier or spline) to the input data and then interpolating values at your desired locations.

  • Content scope document library does not return result for non farm administrator

    Hi
    I have a situation where I had to go with a unique permission applied subsite to store 1000 documents in the document library. This site has a set of 50 users. I was able to create content scope and library path for search. It returns results for me(creator/owner/administrator)
    however if I add other users as contributor or full permission, even after full crawling it does not return result for others.
    I saw some article that security broken site wont be indexed normal way and to include and I did that as well but no result for other users. I always get result.
    Please suggest if there are any specific security permissions that I need to include, so the document library target search will return result for others.
    Thanks
    Shri

    Hi Shri,
    For administrator search results, it looks like the documents could be crawled and searched.
    For other users you grant full control permission on subsite with unique permission where you store 1000 dcouments in document library, please make sure these 50 users have access permission(at least view permission) on documents from the
    library, then test again.
    Also test if users search on search center site without search scope, see if it's scope issue or search web part issue.
    If above doesn't work, please check ULS log for related useful information around the time when users search the documents, there should be more info to verify if issue is related to unique permision.
    Thanks,
    Daniel Yang
