Attaching measurement point in task lists

Hi experts
Here we decided to go to measurment points (by valuation codes) rather than tassk lists for prev. maint. As like task list each speific measurment point has to trigger in order based on frequency required. Just user capture the valuation codes at measurment docs. then we cud see the results at IK17.
But iam not finding the way to do , linking the task lists by prev. orders. can you suggest us

Hi,
If you are on ECC 6.0 with EHP4, Measurement points can actually be associated to operations as a PRT on task list or directly on the order. This functionality(Inspection rounds)  has been provided as part of Enterprise asset management continuous improvement under Enterprise Business function set. The measurement points are automatically proposed during the completion confirmation of the relevant operation.

if you are not at this level or not plan on getting there in the near future a custom or manual solution is your only option.
Hope this helps.

  • Indicator on task list and order which shown Document is attached ?

    Hi,
I have attached a document in task list through PRT in task list succesfully. Is there a indicator  in task list which  tells that yes a document is attached to task list ?
Secondly is there a indicator in workorder which tells that yes a document is attached to this partcular task list ?
    Regards,
    Meghana

    Hi
Not sure about header level but in operation one check box is available for PRT.
If PRT is attached to operation check box is automatically selected..
On header screen at bottom you can see PRT check box if it is attached to first operation.

  • PM: Printing Task List Attachments When printing Shop Floor Papers

    Hi,
We have PDF documents attached to our PM Task Lists. My requirement is to print out these PDF attachments when the shop floor papers (ie Maintenance Pick List) print. I am able to determine each of the files and their paths attached to the task list, but as of yet, I am unable to automatically print them. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Also note that using OLE to print the attachments seperately is not an option - The reason for this is that the shop floor papers would go to the SAP Spooler and the attachments would go to the network print server.
    Thanks!
    Scott

In transaction OPK8, in forms uncheck the 'New List' check box for the List.

  • Service product with task list

    hi
i am using service product with task list in service order. in subsequent quotation (by DP80) the servcie product is coming as main item operations & materials in task list are coming as sub items.
in our case we may have to add some more operations (unplanned operations) in the service order apart from those (planned operations) already populated by task list attached to service product. and these operations need to be priced in subsequent quotation.
our problem: in the quotation even the unplanned operations are coming as subitems and hence there is no diferentiation between planned operations (coming from rask list) and unplanned operations (added manually in the service order). we need to differtiate between planned & unplanned operations in quotation for pricing purpose.
    thanks in advance

    Hi,
There are following work-around solutions from my point of view.
Option 1: create two different  ‘Std. Text Key’ in config  ‘ Planned’ & ‘ Unplanned’ and also attach same  in the task list.
All the planned operation will come with suffix ‘Planned’ and same will be printed also. While you add the unplanned one that time add’Un-planned’ std text key’
You can also drive reporting , costing reports , confirmation report separately for all planned and unplanned items
Options 2:  After goods posting you can find the cost difference of planned operation and unplanned operation. Devolve some Z report and based on same you can send final bill

  • Question about Measuring Point / Couter

    Dear PM Guru,
While creating my Maintenance Plan with tcode -IP42 , there's counter automatically appear in the plan.
I under this counter is from measuring point.
I am confuse with the Counter in all this tcode IP41 , IP42 & IP01.
    My question are :
Is this measuring point / counter master data or technical object ?
Where's the relationship for counter in Maintenance plan ?
Any impact the counter with the cycles used in the item line?
What 's the different between IP01 vs IP41 vs IP42?
Appreciate your input from any PM Guru.
    TQ

    Hi Venu,
    Thank for your reply.
Understand that In Performance-based Maintenance Plan, SAP automatically links Counter to the Maintenance Plan.
After my personal investigation , fully understand that only performance based maintenance plan are using counter. Normal Maintenance Order will not use counter as Master data.
    Example Performance Based Plans :
When the measuring point counter reaches 3000 -1st  order should get generated
2nd one at 6000, 3 rd one at 9000 etc...
    Or
    1. Single Cycle with counter -- Ex . Maintenance every 3000 hrs
    2. Strategy Cycle plans.. -- Ex. Maintenance every 3000 hrs and every 6000hrs
    3. Multiple Counter Plans..-- Ex Maintenance every 2month  or 1year..
    Process Flow.
Create equipment with suitable measuring point (inc annual estimate) with Tcode IK01 create measuring point
Create initial counter reading measurement document
Create task list (optional for single-cycle plan)
    Create counter based maintenance plan
    Scheduling maintenance plan (IP10/IP30)
    Create measurement documents periodically
    Little Question to ask.
    1) Is this the SAP standard flow ?
Please correct me if i am wrong.
    Thank you.

  • PRT to Task list!

    Hi
I have been able to attach a document to task list thorugh PRT.And the same document can be viewed from work order through PRT tab in operations.
1 ) Now the business does not want to follow all the setps from order and then view the document attached to task list. They want a simpler way.So is there any easy standard way with which document can be viewed ?
    Regards,
    Meghana

Actually I have done the DMS set up for equipment and FLOC and have activated a additional data tab,Now thorugh this tab they can view a document is attached to equipment or FLOC. This is a very simple way.
Now for task list if a document  is attached through PRT then if they want to find out if a document is attached to task list then in order from operations tab they have to go and viwe the document. They want s simpler way as its for equipment and FLOC.
In IW38/39 they want to understand how they will come to know that a document is attached.

  • Specify measuring points in tha task list

    1. Can i specify measuring points in tha task list. ie. i want to measure some specific reading in preventive mtc. like temperture etc.
    2. can i fill measurement reading through orders like we do in case of notifications.
    pl reply

    Hiii Ravi
Measurement reading is maintained against measuring poisition for the equipment. So measuring point is assigned to equipment.
You can create the tasklist for measurement of different reading & you can maintain the reading while making the confirmation of the each activity/operation.
Against the order you cannot update the measurement document & measuring point cannot be assigned to particular tasklist/task /operation as it is poperty of equipment & not of that task or operation or tasklist.
I hope this will satisfy your query if not let me know.

  • Maintenance plan search for no attached task list

    Hello Experts!
I have tried searching for an answer to this to no avail. Is it possible to execute a search for maintenance plans that have no task list attached to them? I have tried IP15 thinking their would be a status to include or exclude but have had no luck. Any thoughts?
Thank you all for any help!

If suitable to you, you can get this information in scheduling overview from IP19  by
    1.Selecting Tabular radio button
    2. Giving Tasklist Type  field value = blank as under.
Also try Tcode IP24 with point 2.

  • New DMS document attachment to order header - can it also be done to a task list?

With business function LOG_EAM_CI_6, you can now attach DMS documents to the order header or operation level in the 'Additional Data' tab.
Since a lot of clients use documents to list complex preventive maintenance instructions, is it also possible to attach a DMS document to a task list header (or operation) and have it show up in the new 'Additional Data' screen area of the resulting order (using a maintenance item/plan to generate the order)?  Or do we still have to use the task list operation PRT functionality and have it show up in the order's operation PRT?

    Hi Arthur,
I have configured Task list as per the SAP note 1821916  & activated DOC_TL_GUI. This allowed me to attach documents to the Operation &/or Header of the Task Lists. The problem I am facing is when I assign the task list to the work order the documents are not transferred . You have stated that they have transferred to the work order so I am wondering if there is something I missed.
    Arthur Balajthy wrote:
And I checked that by adding documents to a task list header or operation, the work order generated from a maintenance plan/item referencing that task list does have those documents attached also.
I haven't tried from a Plan but will do that now.
I assumed if they were attached to the Task List Operation they would transfer to the Work Order like everything else on the Task List
    Thanks in advance

  • How to attach Task List in Notification

    Hi all
How to attach Task List in Notification?
    Thanks.

List item is forms is generally used when you have pre-defined set of values. you can define them property of list item.
It seems you have dynamic list of values to be displayed on your form, instead go for a text item with a LOV. You can define your logic to get list of values in record group.
    Thanks

  • Measurement points list not downloaded in MAM 2.5

    Hi,
We have recently upgraded our MI server from SP13 to SP14, in which we use MAM 2.5 SR2. After that, we re-generated all SyncBOs and started replication for the timed-2 way ones. We also re-installed the PDA applications
All seemed to work fine, but now the measurement list points are not being downloaded to the PDAs anymore.
If we run the function MAM25_041_GETLIST on the backend, the measurement points are returned correctly. Also, when we run transaction MEREP_EX_REPLIC for the SyncBO MAM25_041, it runs with no error and returns many records (more than 50000) with action ADD and around 150 with action MODIFY.
Does anybody know what the problem might be?
    Thanks,
    Daniel

    Hi Joy,
you can refer the Table 2 .
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/compat/matrix/CMDP_BK_CCBDA741_00_cucm-device-package-compatibility-matrix.pdf
Yes, Device pack needs to be installed in all servers which also requires reboot of servers.
Further, u need to take snapshot of existing firmwares from Device---Device Settings --device defaults to avoid changing of firmwares for other models.
