Attaching the grid to the E-mail

Hi All,
I am trying to attach the grid to the E-mail. I am able to attach the chat using the xMIIChart(chart) actions. But I am not able to attach the grid to the e-mail attachement.
Could any one share the idea.

Hi Muvva,
One quick answer is to put the grid data into a PDF Table in a PDF document. You could probably build the html for presenting the data in the body of an email, but that would be rather tedious and time consuming. Just build the PDF and attach it to the email. You should be able to do that pretty quickly.
Unlike building the chart object in an action block, you cannot save the grid object quite the same way. I (and others) have been down that road and it just is not happening.

Problen when Sending the text file as attachment to the external mail

I am sending the text file as an attachment to a aexternal mai. mailing is going with text file attachment, but text file is empty. No information in the file is going, only empty text file is going. Hi,
You have the choice between xml or pdf, in later versions of designer you can choose with a dropdown on the email button Object palette, the "Submit As";
In earlier version you had to edit the XML Source and change the format from xml to pdf (or vice-versa);

Whenever I send an e-mail with my yahoo account which is also my apple ID a small icon (personal) picture is attached to the e-mail. How do I remove this picture from being attached to all of my outgoing messages?

Everytime I send a message from my yahoo account (which is also my appleID account) a small icon picture (which is a pic of my ex-boyfriend) is attached to the e-mail heading. I'm able to notice I want to remove this from happening. The picture is displayed on my iphone when I open up the mail.
Steps I take:
1. I write an e-mail message from my yahoo account to my other .edu account on a desktop computer.
2. I send the e-mail message from my yahoo account to my other .edu account on a desktop computer.
3. When I open up my .edu account on my iPHONE, there is a new message from my yahoo account.
4. Upon opening the e-mail message on my iPHONE, in the title heading it has the title of the email along with a small (upper right) picture on the iPHONE.
Another thing that I tested was the same thing on my iPAD for text messages:
1. I set up my text messages to my yahoo account (which is also my apple ID account)
2. I send a text message to a person and the same small icon picture is shown on the ipad with each message that is sent
3. The person receiving the text message does not get the small icon picture; however, on the ipad it shows this picture (WHICH NEEDS TO BE REMOVED)
I need to determine how this icon picture is associated with both my yahoo and apple ID account. The funny thing is that I don't have this picture on any of my devices (mac, iphone, ipad). It has been completely removed from all of my technology sources. I'm thinking it has to be something to do with the origniation of my apple ID.
PLEASE HELP ME....this picture is hurting my professionalism when I send outgoing messages.

I think your only solution is to zip the image files first and then attach them.
Read this from a site I found:
Sending Graphical Attachments -- When you attach a graphical image to your message, the recipient of your message sees the image inline (that is, in the body of the message) if her email client supports inline display. ("Take Control of Email with Apple Mail" contains a table listing the capabilities of popular Mac and PC email clients.) If a client does not support inline display (or the recipient has turned off the inline display option), the file appears as an attachment that must be opened in a separate program.
On the one hand, an inline image is easier for the recipient to see - all she has to do is look at it. On the other hand, inline images can be frustrating to scroll through. If you do not wish to send a graphical image inline, you must compress the file before attaching it - Mail, sadly, lacks a built-in compression option, though fortunately for Panther users, the Finder offers Zip compression without requiring a separate application.
Note that when you compose a new message, Mail always shows attachments in the body of your message. You can manually drag them somewhere else, but many email clients display all attachments in a separate list, regardless of where you place them in the message body.
If you paste an image into a message or drag & drop an image from another window (say, a Web browser), Mail converts the raw image data to an attachment in TIFF format. There is an option of embedding index for faster search while converting email to a PDF .
However I am not sure that will serve your purpose or not .
I would recommend you to get in touch with Microsoft support as well .
Meanwhile I'll work on it and get back to you in case I get a desired solution .

Using your example and not modifying it, I get the e-mail form filled out correctly and the pdf attached, however, I'm not prompted to sign it.

One further question, if I may: in Panther (which is where I've aggregated nearly 7 years of mail), if you copy more than one file in the Finder, switch to Mail, and paste the files into a new message, only the file names paste in. If you copy one file and paste it into a Mail message, you get the file, not just the name. Is that still true, or has that (IMHO) bug been fixed since 10.3.9?

It should be an attachment. Your Mac just displays a preview of certain attachments (such as .pdfs) in the body of the message. A PC, for example, will see it as an attached file rather than a preview.
You can save the attachment on your Mac by Control-clicking on it and selecting Save Attachment.

I tried sending photo as attachment to e.mail but attached the whole application, of course this got thrown back, tried to delete it no luck . Now at a loss what to do mail box and mac now sooooo slow and cant seem to get rid of deleted mail??? comes up with error from imap server for gmail message to large ..has anybody else had this ?

If the message is still 'stuck' in your gmail account, you should be able to log into the web service and delete it. Don't know why it won't delete on the Mail side. Quitting Mail should delete the sent msg - don't know why it doesn't.

I have installed the software and setup HP eprint according the manual respectively the advices in HP-Connected however if I send an e-mail to [edited by Moderator] the printer 8600 PRO PLUS will not print the attached file in this case a PDF. But the text inside the e-mail will printed.

Welcome to the HP Support forums. I understand that the attachment to an email sent to your Officejet Pro 8600 Plus printer’s ePrint email address did not print.
After the PDF didn’t print, did you log into your HP Connected account? I’m curious as to what HP Connected indicated about the print job. I have included the ePrint Job Did Not Print document. It has several causes and solutions as to why the PDF didn’t print.

Why is a firefox attachment being added to all my outgoing e-mails, this attachment is a duplicate of the body of the e-mail.

I use Microsoft Outlook for my e-mail and with each message the person receiving the e-mail finds an attachment with the firefox icon. The attachment will open and it contains a duplication of the main e-mail message. I only discovered this after sending my spouse messages to her computer while working on an issue with her Outlook Express 6 mail account.

If you copy the link from the location/address bar then a workaround is to place a character like a space or dot at the far left and select the link via Shift and cursor right copy to the clipboard.
You can set the browser.urlbar.trimURLs pref to false on the about:config page to see the http: protocol on the location bar and in the pop-up if you hover a link.
