Attachments visible in all steps of GP

Hello SDN Community,
I have got a question concerning Attachments in GP:
At the customer we implemented, that A user is able to add an attachment in the step, which has been assigned to him. In the next step another user should be able to have a look at the attachment, yet this attachment is only shown in the Runtime view called "Additional Resources" an not next to the attachment sign in the step itself (here I mean the little paper clip which is shown in the upper right corner of the step iview).
This means if user1 has added an attachment in step1, user2 is not aware of the fact, that user1 has added an attachment, because in step2 the number 0 is shown next to the paper clip sign. If user2 wants to have a look at the attachment he has to open the Additional Ressources view.
For me it is clear, that the number 0 is shown in step2, because the number of attachments is combined with the actual step and not with the whole process. If the user wants to see all attachments he has to use the additional resouces view. Yet for the customer it's not logical.
Now the question is: Is it possible to configure somehow, that the number of attachments (for the whole process) is shown near the paper clip sign in every step?

Attachments duplicate in user steps

I have a user step with a few attachments. When I use the same list in the consecutive user step the attachments from the previous step duplicate and it creates double the number of attachments. I use the "copy all notes and attachments from a list of documents." and specify the list for input and output.
Could someone explain if this is a bug or expected functionality.

It is not a bug, but an implementation concern on collections.
For e.g lets take the assignment: aListVariable = {a list of attachments}
Now, the list variable will not overwritten rather the items will be appended to the list;
So to get rid of this issue, try to follow my approach;
create two list variable of type document (say list1 & list2)
For a Assign Task activity set the following:
Attachment & Notes
Copy all attachments from = list1
Output attachments = list2
Place a Set Value component after the Assign Task and assign the following:
list1 = empty-list()
list1 = list2
list2 = empty-list()

Key focus is not visible for all objects when tabbing

I'm using LabView 5.1.
The key focus is not visible for all objects when tabbing through a "disabled and grayed-out" object.
For example, let's say I create a panel with 3 buttons. If I create a "disabled" attribute for button 2 and assign the value "2" (disabled and grayed-out) to it. When I will run this VI, the key navigation will go through button 1 and button 3 (skipping button 2 as expected) but the key focus on button 3 will not be visible.
Is this a bug with LabView or am I doing something wrong ?

Don't worry, time is not an issue... I'm posting an example of a VI with the problem I described. I noticed that the problem occurs only with "dialog buttons".
When you have time, let me know if you see the same behavior. If you do, I will report the problem to National Instrument.

Interface is successfull but not all steps.

I have imported an Interface from Repository A to Repository B. After this it's executing successfully in Repository B but not all steps. Due to this, the target table is not populating. Here is what I did.
1. Created a master repository MA and work repository WA
2. Developed the interface.
3. Run the interface. It's working properly. See the snapshot at

4. Exported everything from here to files.
5. Created a master repository MB and work repository WB
6. Imported all the exported files in step 3 here in Synonym INSERT_UPDATE mode.
7. Run the interface. It's completing successfully(without errors), but not completing all the
steps. Due to this my target table is not populating.

Take care of these things while you Import the Interface from one Repository to another.
1.) u follow the import step wise
First import the physical schemas.and map them to logical schame with samename and context as in previous repository.
Then,import the models in designer that are to be used in your interface.
Finally Import the Interface.One Important Thing to mentio here is that any mapping(in Diagram Tab) in an Interface needs to be done again.

Is it possible to skip or activate ´"Record Results" and "Step Failure Cause Sequence Failure" for all steps of a step type.
It is very much work to do this for all steps, because I have hundred of steps

hi,
here is an example that will change the TS.NoResult. You just have to change this area of the sequence to suit your needs
I haven't added any fancy stuff, such as adding a filedialog to get the seq file to change, you will find the various variables in the Locals.

How can I set a button/link that is visible on all slides?

I want to add a button/link that is automatically visible on all slides (whole project). But it seems it does not work. Any help?

Hello,
It depends on your version. I hope you are on CP6 or later. In that case you have two possiblities:
a shape button on the main master slide (and be sure that all daughter master slides have the objects of the main master slide)
a shape button on the first slide, timed for the rest of the project.

I'm not sure if it charged when I hooked it up to my roommate's computer, but it definately didn't register either. If I put it on the dock it plays so the port is fine, but that still doesn't help me sync it to my computer.

Does it light up at all? If not, you could have a battery issue.

For what it's worth ...
Apple's policy is clear: iTS purchases can be downloaded only once. It is your responsibility to make back-ups . (For most people, this will involve either CD's/DVD's or an external drive .)
That being said, at their discretion they have made one-time exceptions to this policy. You can ask for an exception by submitting the form on this page:

Navigation links are visible to all groups even after applying specific target audience group in to links at sharepoint 2010 publishing site

Any one please help me on why the global navigation links are visible to all group users even after applying a specific target audience group to the link. I Checked , User profile service and User profile synchronizing services
and they are running fine. Test environment is running fine even both the services are not running. Please let me know is any relation should be there between target audience and User profile services?
I am wondering that the Target Audience is not working in global navigation suddenly in production server and the same is working in test server.

Adobe Flash Player wont work after all steps taken, what haven't I done to make it work?

I tried to play a game I love & I got this message: "To view this page ensure that Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.0 or greater is installed" So I went to your site to update my flash player & hit the "Test Flash Player" button & it came up
like this^^. I went to the suggestions your site provided & went to Manage add-ons to look for Shockwave Flash Object to enable it:

First, confirm that ActiveX Filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

Internet Explorer 11 introduces a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.
You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:

If that is too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a preferable alternative.

Crashed thrice today. Followed all steps recommended etc etc - if Mozilla were a car, it would be recalled - get it in gear!

This can be done in SAP menu instead of User Menu, provided all your users are using SAP menu. If a folder is created in User menu it would be visible only to the user. If it is created in SAP menu and if all the users are using the SAP menu then the folder would be visible to all...
