Hey guys,
Your work on the iPod series is just incredible. I presently have the iPod Touch 2.1 newest build, and I am just amazed at how incredible it is.
I have an idea for you all. Have you thought of doing some cool glasses as a display device that use your new generation monitor link (small plug) that could link into a iPod Touch / iPhone platform / chassi and have the display in the glasses? One could liesurely watch movies, podcast videos, music videos, etc, with the iPod in their pockets. I reflection/opaque control could turn the glasses from viewing movies to semi transparent via reflective on/off LCD film on the lenses.
This way, you dont have to hold the ipod up to your face. Sort of like blue-tooth, but for the eyes, not the ears. (not meaning wireless, but 'hand' less).
I didnt know wether to post this here or in the iPod center of the forums... Made sense to post this here.

I don't think that Apple Design check this much. However, a patent was apparently lodged by Apple recently to do this... For glasses that create an image, sortof like virtual reality, that when turned off are just normal transparent glasses.
So, this may happen although it is just a patent at the moment. Don't hold your breath in the immediate future.

when the apple review team review our app，they point out that our app uses a background mode but does not include functionality that requires that mode to run persistently。but in fact，when the app in background ，the app need data update to make the function of trajectory replay come ture。in fact， we have added function when the app is in background mode。we have point out the point to them by email。but they still have question on the background mode，we are confused，does anyone can help me，i still don't know why do review team can't find the data update when the app is in background and how do i modify the app，or what is the really problem they refered，do i misunderstand them？

We found that your app uses a background mode but does not include functionality that requires that mode to run persistently. This behavior is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.

I've opened a bug for this issue as well. I want to ask if anyone experiencing the same issue and has found a workaround. Basically Air Runtime is picking up the wrong launch image when launching on iPhone 6. It defaults to [email protected] instead of the [email protected] iOS 8 picks the correct image but Air Runtime does not. Here is the link for the bug. If this is confirmed, this could result in rejection for all the app developers who optimized their apps for iPhone 6 . It is hard to catch this bug in release mode since the Air Runtime loads pretty fast and it occurs when you device is slow or doing something in the background. You can see it easily on iOS simulator or debug mode. We tried everything for a workaround but we failed.
Bug#3831747 - Adobe Air Initiates the wrong launch Image on iPhone 6 - Possible App Rejection by Apple Review Team for a…Apple recommends the storyboard/xib option but you can still use launch images as assets in your root. When you open a new project in xcode you can look at Contents.json and see the naming conventions they use for iOS8. We grabbed the new naming convention from here. Also setting up in the application xml the UILaunchImages key works too. Please see the below example. It would be a better solution if Adobe Air refers to xml/info.plist values that the developer sets instead of hard-coded naming conventions.

Warranty and support is only valid in the country of origin, or in the case of a device purchased in an EU country, only in an EU country.
Unless you will be visiting an Apple store in one of the EU countries before the warranty expires, you are pretty much out of luck.

Using an Apple Design Keyboard?
The keyboard that comes with my G5 has a problem - the keys don't always register unless they are pressed firmly, which doesn't always happen when typing fast. This is a common enough problem for me, that I need to find a way around it. Also, the top row of keys is too close to the function keys, with the expected results from a clumsy typist, and the space bar jams if you press it the least little bit off-center. Not the best keyboard that Apple ever made, I'm sorry to say!
I suppose that I could go and buy some other USB keyboard. Or, I have several old (but good) Apple Design Keyboards, which are ADB keyboards. I assume that I can use a USB to ADB adapter. The questions are (assuming that this works at all):
1) Do I assume correctly that there is no way to use the "power" key via the USB? Having to use the button on the front of the CPU is a bit of a pain - particularly if I have the cpu under the desk or some other out-of-the-way place; it would be nice to be able to go back to the old keyboard power switch....
2) What about the "eject" key and the audio volume keys? I don't particularly care about the audio volume keys, but the eject key is VERY useful. How do I get it back (presumably mapped to one of the function keys)?
3) Are there any other problems that I'll encounter?Some of these things (space between top row and function keys) obviously can't be changed, but the sticky space bar is a defect. I've had two of these modern Mac keyboards, and neither does that. As for the touch, that should only take a little getting used to.
So, I'd suggest getting your defective keyboard replaced (if it's in warranty), and maybe try out some of the alternative USB Mac keyboards.
No, the power on a PowerMac G5 can't be controlled by the 'power' key on the earlier Mac ADB keyboard. -
What has the Apple support team done to the Top Sites screen? I just accepted an automatic update to be downloaded to my iMAC, and as a result of this "fix installation" the layout of the Top Sites screen has been terribly "destroyed"! What's the idea?

May I request to the itunes design team to allow backup without the passcode
My ipad's front panel display is broken. I need to back up all my data but unable to do it in iTunes because I need to unlock it with my passcode (screen has huge crack).
Any alternative solution?
Thank you.May I clarify that my Ipad was not jailbroken, when I say broken ( front panel display was shuttered, LCD display not functional).
I used Itools, and I can still see my front screen, unfortunately, I cannot control it in my PC to unlock it so I can back up my data.
I hope the design team will at least allow backup for a case like shuttered LCD screen, since I cannot slide and put my passcode...at least allow users to enter passcode in Itunes, that way security is not compromised. -

I am having problems with my IPad 1 ...it has suddenly stopped charging (despite using a new charger - which worked fine a few days ago). I have tried different plug sockets,turning the IPad off fully but still the IPad will not charge. Plus when I try to connect my IPad to my computer there is a popping sound and my copmuter shuts down. Does anyone know an email address for the Apple Support team? Thanks

Why is Logic's interface still heavy Graphically? My G5 Dual 2.5 with 5.5 Gig ram is not enough? see how Cubase handels graphics on the same machine or even ProTools??? by the way I am a Logic user for more than 15 years, so I guess Apple knows exactly that their clients are faithfull to their products so why Logic is still outdated in many aspects, if Apple does not have the intension to make Logic the industry STANDARD they can tell us clearlyThoughts???
Sure; that if this was once an awesome app that i would either go back to that version or, having been seduced by new features etc., i find that i can't live without them then I would (and have ) dl Reaper (mac, free), try the Sonar7 demo bootcamped (a truly awesome app), find an le version of Cubase (there's no demo and the full version ain't cheap) and try 'em all out on a second machine over a long, slow weekend. They all have strengths and weaknesses. They all have problems for some users. if you can get around on one of them you can quickly gain passable competence on any of them and at the very least you'll learn new things you can do with Logic and, more than likely, learn that Logic is still your favorite. 8 is a major overhaul, it's bound to take a few patches to get it right. Do we want it to be perfect out of the box? Of course. Is that ever gonna' happen? Noooo ... but if it doesn't work, go back to 7, hassle Apple about and wait till the fix it.

Am I missing something in my copy of iDVD?
The statement below from the Apple web site says there are "150 Apple-designed themes" in iDVD.
I can only see a total of 50, maybe a few more if you count double for wide screen and non widescreen.

When I save a filtered photo from my iphone (filtered with "Tonal") onto my desktop into iPhoto, the filter dissappears and its saved as a standard color photo. Is there a reason why and way I can save it as is?
