AUC distribution and settlement based on quantity

we have a requirement. my client want to procure 100 air conditioners under AUC, and want to capitalize it at the time of putting it to use. So, we need to capitalize the asset based on quantity. Is there any method to distribute/settle based on quantity. As i can only find option of percentage and amount in distribution rule.

hi,
did you try it with
Equivalence number for order settlement
The costs collected in the sender object are distributed to the settlement receivers, in proportion to the equivalence numbers.

  • AUC distribution and settlement

    Hello gurus
can anybody give me the answer
When we are during AUC  what is happening in distribution and settlement
when settle the assets what is the with line item and without line item
    Regards
    Sri

    Hi
Distribution means, the AUC amount is distributed as a Percentage or Equivalent amount or Quantity of the AUC amount. For Ex: If AUC is 1000000, then the AUC amount of 10lakhs can be either settled by percentage or by quantity (for example, Rs.10 lakhs for 5 numbers of assets, 5 is the quantity here) or equivalent amount which might be full 10 lakhs or 350000 for one asset and 500000 on another asset and the balance on some other asset to be distributed.
in case of settlement, the AUC Asset is credited and Main Asset is debited when we settle the AUC asset through AIBU or
    CO88.
Now coming to Line Item and with out LIne Item. in  case of AUC Line item settlement is possible. The number of line itmes posted to the same AUC Asset, can be settled to various main assets. For ex : The above 10 lakhs is actually entered thorugh 20 line items of Rs. 50000 each. Now, these 20 line items can be settled to ONE main Asset or 6 line items can be settled to one main asset and the balance 14 line items can be settled to another Main asset. This is Line Item settlement.
In case of No Line item settlement, usually AUC assets values are to be settled to Main Assets. In case of Main Assets, further settlement is not required. For ex : AUC Asset value is 10 lakhs, Now this 10 lakhs should be settled to Main Asset Buiding. So Line item settlement is possible only for AUC assets. Main Asset Building need not be settled to another asset. So when we create the Building Asset Class, we select NO line item settlement possible.
    hope you got the answer.
if so, you know what to do to satisfy me.
    Thanks

  • Distribution and settlement of capital assets

    Hi!
How do we distribute, settle capital assets under construction?
How to define maximum amount for low value asset in depreciation areas?
    Thank you
    DD

    Hi!
For AUC you need to carry out below:
    -Enter distribution rules
    -Transfer assets under construction
-Reverse settlement of assets under construction
How to define maximum amount for low value asset in depreciation areas?
    Via Customizing.TCODE ::OAYK
    Below Path :
Asset Accounting ->Valuation -> Amount Specifications (Company Code/Depreciation Area) -> Specify Max. Amount for Low-Value Assets + Asset Classes.

  • AUC and settlement rule mismatch.

    Hi,
We have created many AUCs while uploading initial data at the time of go-live by posting JVs on WBSE and then performing the settlement. Now due to some currency issues we have reversed all settlements, and then Asset accounting person has resetted the asset register.
now when I am trying to create AUC from CJ20N, system creates AUC and provides the number. but this newly generated AUC number is not matching with the AUC in settlement rule. I can't delete the old settlement rule as the settlement performed on that. as well as I am not able to add new AUC in settlement rule.
Please let me know if there is any program / tcode which can remove this inconsistency. or is there any other procedure to make it streamline.
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Nilesh.

    Hi,
There is no error message in this case.
    The scenario is like:
I have one WBSE and AUC is created for this WBS. for example AUC number is 1. the WBSE is released and some cost has incurred on it. during periodic settlement the cost is settled on the AUC.
Now the Client FICO team observed that the asset accounting is wrong due to currency conversion problem, so FICO team decided to reset the asset register and upload the entire master with new corrections. this will reset the AUCs as well.
so i reversed the settlement done on AUC and got the cost back on WBSE.
FICO team has resetted the asset register and all AUCs got deleted.
Now the issue is: WBSE is having AUC #1 in settlement rule which can not be deleted as settlement is carried out on this rule.
But when I create new AUC for WBS it is being created as some different number, (lets say #7) so even if now I run settlement the settlement will be done on AUC #1 insted of #7 even though #1 belongs to some other WBSE now in new scenario.
I hope I have clearly mentioned the issue.

  • Internal order posted and settled to auc in incorrect ccode and fiscal year

    Hi,
We created an internal order in ian ncorrect company code and settled the cost to AUC in previous fiscal year.
I would like to know what options do you recommend to move the AUC cost from incorrect company code to internal order in a correct company in the current fiscal year. Our AUC account is set up as control account and cannot be manually posted to.
I understand Internal order settlement to AUC for previous fiscal period cannot be reversed in the current year?.
    Kindly advise
    Umang

    Hi
Select the Internal order > Reverse the settlement in the same year...(KO88)
Try to transfer the balance from this IO to new IO in the other co code from (F-02)..
You need to have Inter Co clearing accounts in the IMG....
now settle the new IO to new asset (AUC) in the other company

and isnt ipad supposedly locked to at&t and verizon????

They aren't locked in this edition for worldwide use. However I don't believe you can use an AT&T on Verizon and vice versa. If you have CDMA service you will need the Verizon iPad.

  • Diff between GR based invoice verification and PO based invoiceverification

    Dear Friends
Can any body pl clarify the difference between the GR based I V and
PO based I V and how to configure the above.
    regards
    rk

    Hi,
Gr Based Invoice Verification :  In this a separate invoice item is created for each delivered partial quantity. If we make the allocation with the purchase order system then propose more than one invoice item as a default if more than one partial delivery has been posted for the po item.
If we make the allocation using delivery note the system proposes exactly the po items from this goods receipt, plus the the quanties posted.
using gr based we can assign each invoice item uniquely to a good receipts item. Good receipt and invoices matched in po history
In Gr based invoice qty should not be greater than actual delivered qty.
Purchase Order Based Invoice Verification :  In this system generates one invoice item in the item list for each po item. The system provides quantity to settle in as difference between total d livered qty and thee total invoice qty.
If we make allocation using delivery note the system determines the relevant po items with their total qty to settle-in the same way as if there was a reference of purchase order. The system will not propose qty relevant in delivery note.
If there are several good receipt the purchase order history will not tell you which invoice came from which vendor.

  • Costing Based And Account based COPA - Need Assistance

    Hello All,
In our project, with no other option we are planning to implement both costing based and account based COPA. I have been told that it is not recommended by SAP because for every entry there will two line items, one in cost based and another in account based (Correct me if I am wrong). But I could not understand why it is creating 2 line items in COPA. - Please help to understand this concept with an Example.
    Thanks
    PM

    Hi
Costing based and account based COPA serve the same purpose...   analyze profitability of the product ....
Costing based COPA should always be preferred over account based COPA, as it provides greater flexibility, some extra features, some extra planning mechanism and faster reports
Following  are the point of differences between Costing based vs. Account based copa (ABC)
    1. Account based copa uses transaction tables (COEP, BSEG) and hence affects performance of CO transactions.CBC takes values from CE1XXXX to CE4XXXX tables. XXXX means Operating Concern name.
    2. Estimated / Statistical values not possible in ABC, say, calculating frieght upon invoice on a thumb rule basis to have better view of profitability per customer.. no valuation strategy in Accounts based COPA..
    3. Reports based on line items not possible in ABC.. possible in CBC.
4 Actual Top Down distribution only available in CBC not in ABC .
    5. Revaluation of actual data to plan data is not available in ABC
    6. No key figure schemes are available in ABC
    7. In ABC, settlement cost elements are used to settle values to prof segments unlike value fields in CBC
    8. Production variance / COGS accounts shud be defined as cost element in ABC.
System creates a document for each type of COPA as it stores values in different tables and what you can do with this data also differs like you can do TOP down in Costing Based Copa..
Hence, you will have two COPA documents always......................
Fot further clarifications .. please revert back..

  • Customer final rebate settlement based on respective delivering plant

    Dear Friends,
Can you please give your valuable suggestions.
Issue : Customer final rebate settlement based on respective delivering plant.
Let me explain: Customer has purcahsed some goods worth Rs. 200000.00 by 10 invoices. Different delivering plants are involved , lets say Plant 1000 & Plant 2000. Via plant 1000 - Material worth 50000 sold by 3 invoices & via Plant 2000- material worth 150000 sold by 7 invoices ). Customer is supposed to get 2% rebate means Rs. 4000.00.
Client needs how during the final settlement they can create two rebate credit memo request of Rs. 1000. 00 & Rs.3000.00 automatically with respect to the delivering plants involved in the process.
No partial rebate payment will be done. I think it will help in this process. So we can put accural same as rebate rate.
Any more clarification please let me know.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Gyana Ranjan.

    Hi Anup,
if I get you right you want to give the customer the rebate when he reaches the sales volume of 25,000.
    Please use the scales (F2)
Scales type "A" (from-scale) is probably standard, so the rule is
from scale value: 25,000 Amount 3%
If you want to give the customer the rebate when he reaches the sales volume of 25,000 and then stop
Go to condition details (F6), change the scale type to B (To-scale), go to scales again and and fill the scales table as follows:
to scale value: 24,999 Amount: 0
to scale value: 25,000 Amount :3%

  • How sales and distribution and customer service are related

    Respected,
I am sales and distribution consultant but at present I am working on customer service and sales and distribution simultaneously and I use to  face the problems in customer service part of CRM so do they co relate with each other  .

    Hi Avanish,
Please note Customer Service is a combination of Sales & Distribution and Plant Maintenance. the difference in between them, it is that:-
    1. Plant Maintenance is being done withing a company / plant, so billing is not get generated.
    2. Customer Service is used to external customer, so billing gets done and customers settles the bill.

  • Import of item prices based on quantity ranges??

I know how to setup different prices in B1 for an item based on quantity ranges (e.g. $10 qty <20, $5 qty 20 - 50, $1 qty > 50),  However, I have thousands of inventory items so I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to import the prices and quantity ranges.  From my research I have found no way to do this.

    Hi Friends,
My user is running MRKO t.code and settling the documents and he is getting message like "Consignment settlement : No message was found for partner 266666/Company code".
I have maintained KONS condition for the vendor and in the combination (com.code + vendor) table i have maintained printer also.  But this is happening for one user for other user it is working.  I checked up both the roles no difference.

    Hi Anil,
How you are getting ZERO and Negative Vale for consignment?
Consignment settlement will happens after withdrawal of goods or after Sales based on your Consignment Purchase Info record.

  • Variance Calculation and Settlement

    Hello Gurus,
While performing period end closing, the variance calculated (KKS6) amount is not the same as the amount in settlement (KK87). Both are picking up the same variance categories for the material but with different values. can you please let me know the reason for this.
Note: This error occurs only for one company code, other company codes calculate and settle the same amount. WIP and scrap is not being used by the company codes.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Friend,
did you check whehter all your allocation and distribution cycles related to that company code are executed.
in my opinion you need to check if that is executed and again compare the both reports

  • AuC created and posting entries throu KO88 but i dont see any depreciation

An AuC has been created and also capitalized using t-code KO88 but i dont see any depreciation for a long time.
Can someone please understand me the complete concept of AuC and how the depreciation is calculated.
    - Sudhir Krishna Kumar SIngh

    Hi Dear,
Internal order settlement :- In standard SAP ,generally we are settle P&L expenses to CWIP ( Asset under constructions) though internal order system, which same P&L expenses transferred to as balance sheet value under fixed asset group. All AUC assets are having depreciation key 0000 or any other key with 0 %.
Once WIP has been capitalized  , business user settle the AUC asset and transfer same values to direct asset.
    Process :-
    1. Create new asset under required asset class
    2. AUC Settlement  ... AIAB Transaction code ,where you have to select how much amount need to be transfer to direct assets.
after that ,you have to click on settlement button.
