Audio from flv player won't stop playing

Question

Hi, I have a swf loading in another swf that has a video player in it. When I remove the swf from the stage, the swf goes away but the audio from the swf keeps playing. Is there a way to tell that swf to stop playing from the parent swf?

I have a document class referencing a class that contains the video player. The reference for the class is called vPlayer and the reference to the actual component in vPlayer is myPlayer.
This is the code in my Document class that calls vPlayer:
               if (window_mc.contains(thumbContainer_mc)) {
                    window_mc.removeChild(thumbContainer_mc);
                    next_btn.visible = false;
                    vPlayer=new videoPlayer;
                    vPlayer.x = (window_mc.x + 60);
                    vPlayer.y = (window_mc.y);
                    window_mc.addChild(vPlayer);
and this is the code in the vPlayer class that calls the FLV component:
