Audit data from Identity Mgr repository

Hi,
I want to get the data like, If I create an account for a user and assign him certain resources today (say date is a) and assign him some resources.These resources need to be approved,they are approved after two days (say date is b).The is created at that time.
Any clue How I could the date when request was made,
Is there any way or workflow service op that lets us get the audit data for a user from repository.

In the Audit Vault Server infrastructure, there are a number of objects that are used to store the audit data from source databases. The Agent/Collector continually extracts and sends the audit data from the source databases into the Audit Vault repository. One of the tables that stores the 'raw' audit data is av$rads_flat which should never be externalized, changed, or manipulated by anyone.
Out of the box, a job runs every 24 hours to transform or normalize the raw audit data into the warehouse structure that the reports are run against. The warehouse tables are published in the Audit Vault Auditor's documentation in which you can run your own report tool or other plsql to analyze the audit data.
What do you want to do with the raw audit data?

I have a test EM Grid Control environment that has been running for over 1 month.
I just set up a new production environment with a separate repository.
Is there a way to move the metrics data from test to production?

I was in the same situation as yours. I move the repository database from development server to production server. I also renamed the databases to conform to our internal production database naming standards.

3. Logical Architecture objects and context do not have an export option. What is the suitable alternative for this?If you are exporting topology then you will get the logical connection and context details. If you are not exporting topology then you need to manually create context and other physical connection/logical connection.

Auditing data from global temporary table

Hi I have a process that uses a global temporary table.
What it does it serve a consolidation point to merge a lot of data.
Some the former designer decides to use a global temporary table and the row will be gone once it got commit.
However, the data is corrupted occasionally. And ideally we would like to fix the upstream source data but this is too complicated and not feasible.
So we decide to audit the data going into the global temporary table. We want to generate a report on the corrupted data.
However, whenever I commit, the data is gone from the global temporary table and we do not want to set it to commit preserve rows for the global temporary table
Even with autonomous transaction this is not working out as once it commits the data is gone.
Any idea how this can be done. Here are the prototype that I build to demo this:

The data is poor and the code is poor and the dev and QA env is also poor..
And the business asks us to fix the data..However..we do not have an environment close enough to test it out before it got put into production that is the bottom line.
Heres the dev and QA env cannot be trust to the extent that I can sign off and say it will give the same behavior as the production env
So we would like to minimize the risk as there are other process uses these table and we are not sure if changing this would lead to UN-expected behavior.
We cannot tell some other process rely on the fact that these table got empty out after commit.

Error Created while moving audit data from existing runtime repository to Control Center using OWB Control Center Upgrade Assistant. Here OWBRTR2TST is Runtime repository in Control Center.
Error as follows:

How to retrieve data from content repository

Hi experts,
I use the report RSIRPIRL to relocate data (by date) from SOFFCONT1 table into my EE content repository. For testing purpose I would like to retrieve those data from the content repository. I tried with the Business document navigator (OAOR) without explicit result.
Any inputs how to access those relocated data?

I was able to move on but I still need some help.
I review the tables DMS_PH_CD1, DMS_PHIO2FILE or DMS_DOC2LOIO, SOOD, SOFM, SOC3.
From the content repository I can see documents with fields business object type (ZIXIILLDGR, BUS2081..), sap object ID, document type.
I was able to find the link between physical and logical document ID and class, still I not able to see in which tables the fields business object type (ZIXIILLDGR, BUS2081..), sap object ID, document type are saved and how they link together.
If I re-phrase, when you execute transaction OAOR, in the identification of application object you have the field class name (Business object field with transaction OAAD). In which table is that field located in sap and how that field is link to the sap object ID as well as document type?
Could someone please give me an input on that?

For Ex: o= join
uid=mary
uid=sam
i need to push the attributes related to mary and sam into IDM.
As specified, i have created a directory repository to point this vds, i have given the value of starting point as o=join
in the 'Fromldap' pass i nthe destination tab i have inserted the template from source which has attribute only dn.
When i run the job, it stores only the value o=join in the table.
How to get the values under o=join tree . Please help.

Problem: Unable to retrieve workflow data from MDM repository

This is a new MDM installations scenario for version 5.5 SP05 (5.5.40.83).
After installing MS Visio, finding problems connecting it with the MDM Data Manager. After doing MDM workflow installations, able to initiate the MS Visio Workflow from MDM Data Manager and can see the Pane-MS Visio Workflow Stencil but not the able to see the Pane-MS Visio Workflow Stencil Details that appears below the Pane-MS Visio Workflow Stencil. Secondly geting a pop-up with the error message as - 'Unable to retrieve workflow data from MDM repository.'
I have added a parameter Mail Server=MailServerIPAddess (the existing IP addr), but it hasn't helped.
Can any one please help me in this !

As Felix mentioned, it might be a version compatibility problem.
You have also mentioned that mail server is not working for that do this
Mailserver = SMTP server.company.com ( ex. Mail.company(xxxxx).com)
MDM workflow notify task is working after rebooting the Machine. So the rule is after making changes to MDS.ini file reboot the machine ,to observe the consequence of configurable changes.

Unable to retrieve data from repository

I am new to ATG. I want to create small application where I need to retrieve all the user's first name and last name and display that in index.jsp. I am using MySQL database server. Till date I have created one userRepository.xml file which contains table name and all the column name. One UserRepository.properties file which contains following code.

I am getting error like "das_id_generator does not exist". Similiarly I am getting error for other table which is not there in my schema.
So Please tell me how to resolve this issue and exact procedure to retrieve the data from repository.

Using crystal report to extract data from Audit Log

I have a customised form which contains main fields (i.e 20 fields) and when a field is changed, it's being recorded in the audit log.
Would it be possible to use Crystal Report to extract data from the Audit Log? Ideally, i would like the report to show me all the latest field values in a spreadsheet type format (i.e. one field per column)
Has anyone try this and if so, what is involved?

XML script to copy data from one repository to another

Hi all,
a customer wants an xml script that copy all data from the repository A to the repository B. I think that this is not possible to do this with an xml script, because the script tags (add-item, update-item, query-item, import-item, load-item, remove-item) seems don't give this feature. The same for RQL, that doesn't give you a command like "SELECT INTO".
But what i'm asking is: Is there a way to run the copy using the repository script tags?

Please elaborate , If what you need is to copy data from between two dissimliar repositories then it is not possible , but if a and b are having the same structure then you might be able to do that using the following and tweaking the generated xml
Both the repositories should have the same structure and name , please follow the below commands and you will be able to export the data in below format , see if this is all you want
export using
bin/startSQLReository -m module -export all outputfile.xml -repository repositoryA
Change the reference to repositoryA in the file
import using
bin/startSQLRepository - m module - import outputfile.xml -repository repositoryB

For SharePoint audit log data, These data combine together in site collection. So there is no easy way to extract audit log data for document library.
As a workaround, you can export the site collection audit log data to a CSV file using PowerShell Command, then you can filter the document library audit log data in Excel.

To download a TPZ file in ESR (Integration Repository), Go to Tools--> Export design objects
Step 1. (Select Source) Use the mode as Transport using File system & Check the checkbox for "Download File to Client"
Step 2. (Select Objects) In Object Set, choose according to your requirement, like Individual Objects to export only a data type or All Objects of Individual Namespaces etc.
Step 3. Click on finish Button
Step 4. Save the desired objects as a .tpz file on your local machine which can again be imported back on the ESR of any PI system.
Step 5. A pop-up "Export Successful" appears which confirms the export of the objects as a .tpz file. Click on Close button.

Migrating selected data from Sybase 11 to Oracle 8i

We have an application re-written using an Oracle 8i backend and we need to migrate data from Sybase 11.9.2 to Oracle 8i. No triggers or procedures to migrate, and not all the tables or even all the rows in the tables. I have read a lot of posts on this and am not sure if the Workbench or Heterogenous services is the best tool/method. For bulk migration it seems the Workbench might work if we create a view and bcp just the view data in comma delimited then use the SQL Loader to move it to Oracle. As a side question when bcping the view do we want to terminate each line with cr/lf or no line termination. Alternatively, could we use the hetergenous services and some perl scripts to accomplish the same thing using copy and select and throttle it some running in batches?
Lastly, if we'd also like to possibly access the old Sybase data does the new client app need specific coding to utilize this service? Do the two db's need to be the same schema or identical to utilize this product?

Have you used this user which holds the omwb repository before for a migration? When you connected the first itme, did you get a message, that the repository tables did not exist and would you like to create them?
Are you using the connected or disconnected source model load?
