Automated assignment of services
Hi
I am in a situations where i have more than 100 users added from the directory server . now my job is to assign services to them. its a four click process for each user through the amconsole, my question , as you would have guessed is :
Can i automate assignment of services to the users?
Is there a way to assign services to all users at once?

BAPI_PO_CHANGE "No account assignment for service 0000010" SE 518 Error
Hi Friends,
I am using BAPI_PO_CHANGE to add new line item with service data to purchase order.
For one scenario BAPI give me above error is "No account assignment for service 0000010" SE 518 .
basically when i pass outline aggrement and contract item to bapi i am getting this error.....according to my observation in outline agrement account assignment is maintain as 'U' but i want to pass outline agrement as 'K' or 'N' so i am passing this into BAPI parameters ,however i feel somewhere it is getting conflict so it giving above error...

I have pass contract number to BAPI ....and i also pass cost center and GL account to account assignment but still bapi giving same error.....I am totally stuck into this i tried a lot with different options..for other scenario BAPI works fine but when I pass contract number with account assignment 'U' and I want to change this 'U' to 'K' or 'N' for this I pass account assignment to PO line item but BAPI fails in this perticular scenario. -
Assign of Service order to Service Notification using BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE

I am using BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE for creation of Notification.
Then BAPI_SERVNOT_SAVE & At last BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.
Notification is getting created .
But I want to assign the service order to this notification. ( IW52 ).
I have tried with the filing the data of REFOBJECTTYPE = 'BUS1004'.
REFOBJECTKEY = ' 003120007' &
REFRELTYPE. = 'ASGN'.
But it is not getting assigned.

Look at BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN from IBAPI_ALM_ORDER function group.
As customer enhancement you can use IBAPI_ALM_ORD_MODIFY.
In help documentation you can find more information with examples.
Bear in mind that using the BAPI to process the order data cannot support all the functions of the transaction.

Assign QoS Service Policy via RADIUS to Catalyst 45k/37k?

is there a way to assigen a QoS service policy via Radius to an Caltalyst 4500/3750 Switchport?
in detail, we would like to assign this policy
policy-map SET_EF
class class-default
set dscp ef
to an interface. All traffic should be marked with a defined DSCP value.
This works find when doing it statically with
interface FastEthernet2/1
service-policy input SET_EF
but we would need to assign such a policy via Radius during the 802.1x Authentication. different users should get differnt policies. We use Cisco ACS 5.2 as Radius Server and there actually is a field for
that in the Authorization Profile Common Tasks Configuration. in detail, this uses the cisco-av-pair "sub-policy-In=<policy name>" attribute to assign a service policy to an NAS.
we found also two other attributes "sub-qos-policy-in" and "ip:sub-qos-polcy-in" for that. CCO says that "ip:sub-qos-polcy-in" works with Catalyst 65k (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst6500/ios/12.2SX/configuration/guide/qos.html#wp1926523)
unfortunately this seems to not work on Catalyst 45k and 37k.
In the ACS Logs we can see that these attributes are attached to the Radius Reply, but unfortunately they are ignored by the switch.
it is interesing that when entering "show aaa attributes" on the Catalyst 45k, these attributes are displayd - so for my understanding the switch should understand these attibutes (?)

unfortunately the engineer told me that by now per-User QoS is definitely no supported on this two plattforms but it's listed on the roadmap and will be possibly availabe mid 2012...... -
Auto Assignement of Service Request to Engineers in CRMOD
Hi all,
We have a requirment where client wants us to do Auto Assignement of Service Request to engineers based upon the availibility and workload of engineer.
For Example: If there are XX number of SR assigned to Engineer1 , then assign the new SR to Engineer2
Also if the Engineer 2 has no bandwidth then assign it to Engineer 3
Could you help me with some workaround for this in OD. Or if there any partner product who provides this functionality

SuchitaI have done this using Web Services / Java applying it to Team Member assignments for Opportunity. It would be a 90% plus fit that would have to be modified to apply to SRs. The rules are configurable by users as the rules are stored in a custom object in CRM On Demand. It is pretty slick and has been in production for about a year. It is a high volume client in a multi-tenent environment.
You can write any rules that you want and the most used rules are the ones that balance work load across users that have the same role (round robin assignments). There are other rules that assign by availability based on the calendar, shifts, skills, etc. the sky is the limit.
To create a new rule type requires writing a new method in java and adding the rule to the custom object. It is very flexible and extendable. The customer that is using it is extremely pleased with it.

Dynamically adding "Runbook Automation Activity" to Service Requests?

Imagine the scenario where a user (through the self-service portal) asks for access to 3 different folders, and each of these 3 folders have different owners. I want the user to be given immediate access when one of them is approved. I have created a parallel
sequential workflow for this.
This is probably best if I start off with a picture:
When this service-request is created, it only contains the initial runbook (RB416). This runbook then dynamically adds the parallel activity (PA417) and any sequential activities that are needed (SA418 and SA421) which contains one review activity and one
runbook automation activity (which gives the user access once the above approval has been granted).
The approval activities added by orchestrator work fine without any issues, but the added runbook activities added from orchestrator fail, and I have not been able to figure out why. I could not find any articles or guides detailing how to best add
a runbook "on the fly" from orchestrator, are there any? Or can anyone here explain how to best do this?does the Runbook (RB416) assign the right "Sequence ID" (per Work item) when the parallel sequential activities (inc. RA & RB) are created.
I guess it will be easier to create the SR template with 3 x parallel sequential workflows, then let the first runbook(e.g. RB416) to
skip the appropriate Sequential workflows based on the user inputs.

Yes, the sequence ID's are correct, I think that the problem is how I am adding the runbook automation activities.
It would be easier to create the template with 3 parallel sequential activities, but then it would not be very dynamic and I want it to work even if we need 4 approvals, or even 20 :)
As I said, I think the problem is how I have added these runbooks. I have tried to find any articles or posts explaining how to add runbooks to a service request from orchestrator, but I have not been able to find one so I basically had to attempt it without
guidance (with a poor result ;) ).
Do you know if there are any articles or posts explaining this process? -

Now every thing is working fine aprt from Message Processor assignment. Even it is picking up
the correct support team but not the Message Processor included in that team.

To be able to assign automatically some type of partner to the message transaction, we have to assign those partners directly to the iBase Component.
So have you been able to do this step successfully?

Account assignment for service item not copied from PR in PO
Hi,
We have a PR created for a service item from SRM. When we run ME59 it automatically creates the PO without issues by copying the account assignment details from the PR. The problem is as follows:
1. If we try to manually create a PO using ME21N from this PR, the account assignment is not getting copied from the PR but it throws the account assignment pop up screen where we manually have to enter the account assignment.
2. The client is using a Z transaction of ME59 which is copy of Me59 but with a few validations (nothing to do with Account assignment). This Z Tcode also fails to create the PO with the error 'no account assignment'. Indicating that the PR account assignment details are not getting copied.
Note: This is happening for all PR's irrespective of whether its created in SRM or created using ME51N.
Please let me know if someone has faced a similar issue

Multiple Account Assignment in Service PO and Seq No of Acc Assgnmt in FI
Hi Experts,
We have created a Service PO with Multiple Account Assignment. The issue is Seq. No. Acc. ***. in BSEG-ZEKKN is showing as 01 for the line item. But in EKKN-ZEKKN for the same line item is showing as 02. Is it that the Sequence Number of Account Assignment in table EKKN and field ZEKKN flow to ZEKKN field in BSEG?
Or is that BSEG-ZEKKN is posted from FI Document itself? Can anybody explain the logic?BSEG - ZEKKN field is always defaulted to 1 in FI document, unless you manually override and change it to something else. Since all FI documents are with reference to purchase order and line item, system cannot determine automatically the sequential number of account assignment which needs to be entered for a particular combination of PO and line item in the FI document.
So it is always defaulted as 1 and does not flow from Purchase order to FI document. Infact the field I believe is displayed only in case of transactions like downpayments which require the account assignment in addition to PO and line item. For all others , if there is an account assignment sequence then it is defaulted as 1.
Also see OSS note 204252 which mentions that for multiple account assignments within the same PO and line item no FI documents get generated.

MULTIPLE ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT IN SERVICE PO

I've created service PO with multiple account assignment. This PO contains manually entered condition at header level.Issue is that for multiple A/C assignment, I'm getting message " No delivery Cost can be posted in case of multiple A/C assignment." due to which A/C document doesn't showing any delivery cost.
If I make single A/C assign. then delivery cost is getting posted seperately. I want to know IMG settings reqd. to overcome this. I've made "del. costs seperate post" tick in IMG>>MM>> purchasing>>A/C Assignment>>Maintain A/C assign. cat.>> K Cost Centre, but still getting same error. So tell me any addn. settings reqd. for this.

This is a standard SAP functionality.
In Case of multiple account assignment no delivery cost posted at the time of goods/service Receipt.
The accounting documents are posted at the time of MIRO.
Please do the MIRO and then check. -

1. Go to Tcode- OMH4,
Maintain Acct assignment as "Possible" instead of not possible for Item Category "D"
2.Go to Tcode - OMG0
Here maintain Various Combinations of Item Category "D" and Account assignment Categories.
Then, Acct Assignment Category field in PO item overview will be open for Item Category "D".

Problem in assign after service callout

I'm using OSB 11 g. I have a problem with assign after a service callout.
The XML returned after the service callout is listed below -

There are no namespace issues. Request help in this regard and thanking you in advance.
