Automatic generation of HU during Kit To Order EWM process, using VAS order

Hi,
Please help me with this process:
My customer keeps components in stock in various HUs, lets say of 50 pieces each.
When a customer orders 20 kits, where each kit is composed of product A + B, the need is to generate 20 HU, each of one containing the kit.
I tried the Kit to order standard process in EWM, using VAS order.
I succeeded to bring components A and B into a Pick-HU to the VAS work centre. The pick HU contains the POSC (step kitting).
We also defined a packing specification where layout Kit is kitting relevant and second layout should generate the HU.
Unfortunately the EWM "sees" the products already packed and doesn't create new HU.
If I use the same process without pick-HU, POSC is not activated and newer less new HU are not generated.
Any suggestion is welcome.
Thanks.

Hi,
On your 1st question .The document type you want to generated on auto PO can be changed by selecting the default document per Transaction. For this go to
MM-Purchasing-Define default values for document types. Here against the T code MB1A assign the desired document type. This will be taken for generation of the auto PO.
On your 2nd question ,I am afraid the auto PO functionality requires items having material master.
On your 3rd question  in MIGO 101 there is no provision of account asignment .

  • Mass deletion of orders in Livecache using Internal Number (GUID)

    Dear Experts
I use program /SAPAPO/OM_DELETE_INCON_ORDERS to delete Orders from livecache using internal order numbers.
However on the selection screen, we can enter only a single Order GUID. I would like to mass process the deletion of orders. do you know an equivalent program or a way to mass delete a list of order GUID rather than deleting one by one?
    Thanks for your answers

    Hi,
Which Orders you want to delete from livecache? you can use the BAPIs available where you can pass more than one ORDER GUIDs to delete the orders from livecache.
Deletion of Planned Independent Requirements- BAPI_PIRSRVAPS_DELMULTI
Deletion of One or More Sales Orders- BAPI_SLSRVAPS_DELMULTI
Deletion of One or More Procurement Documents- BAPI_POSRVAPS_DELMULTI

  • Automatic Generation of Purchase Order at Goods Receipt

    Hello,
I have configured movement type 101 to allow for automatic PO, and performed all of the other necessary configuration, which this forum was very helpful in pointing out. The system is successfully creating the PO in the background as expected. However, no FI document is created, and the account assignment on the PO is "U" for unknown. Thus, when verifying an invoice I must key in the G/L account and cost center. I do not understand this. Can anyone help in this matter?
    Thanks.

Thank you all for your replies. I double-checked all of the configuration requirements noted in your responses, and all appear to be correct...except that the material must be valuated. The material I am using requires an account assignment when it is purchased. There is no inventory price record on the Material Master Accounting View for this plant/material. Is this what you mean by "non-valuated?" I chose a valuated material for my automatic PO test and it worked, and the financial document (document info tab of MIGO header) was produced as a result of the goods movement.
We know now that this functionality will work for both valuated and non-valuated materials. When a valuated material is used, the purchase order is generated as expected, and the financial document is also generated, presumable because of automatic account determination. If a non-valuated material is used, the purchase order is generated with account assignment "U" and no financial document is produced. The invoice in this case must be verified by entering the account assignment information. However, when I used this non-valuated material, I entered the cost center as I posting the goods movement, so I was expecting the purchase order to have been created with account assignment "K," and I for sure expected a financial document. It seems I was wrong.
A problem I noticed with the purchase order is that the order quantity is in the material base unit of measure, rather than the order unit of measure provide on the info record. Can this be corrected?
    Thanks.

I am now designing Make to order (MTO) strategy for repetative manufacturing.
Requirement generates through sales order (Requirement type - KE)

Every time I ahve to move from regualr stock to sales order stock by 412 movement.
Is there any link which will enables the shortfall of sales order stock will generate the schedule line enable to procure the material?
I have found one solution- will have to create Purchase order item having account assignment- M. and have to maintain the source and quota. It genertaes schedule line. But on daily basis I am generatin sales order and there are thousands of items to be procured. Practically it very difficult to creates new po or add new item in purchase order by putting assignment M

    Hello,
Planning of child items in MTO senario can be handled by using appropriat planning stategy.
    Or
There is another way of using individual and collective indicator
field on the MRP 4 view.
    Here following are possible entries.
    blank ---
    1 -
    Individual requirement only
    2 -
    collective requirement
Here if you give indicator as 2 , then for many sales orders the component requirement will get clubbed.
For example you have five sales orders for a parent material of qty 100 each, and in BOM you have specified the required quantity as 1 for the child material.
Then you will get a dependent requirement of 500 for the component.
Now , you have to decide whether you want five individualdependent  requiremants  of 100 quantity each for components or you want collective dependent requirement of
    500 quantity for component.
Hope the above explanation is clear.
    Reward if useful.
Please revert back if you need any input on component  planning strategies.

  • To stop automatic generation of excise invoice for

    Dear Experts,
I am creating Profroma Invoice just after Sales Order in export cycle. While saving the proforma invoice, system automatically generates excise invoice.
Will you please guide me how to stop the Proforma Invoice from automatic generation of excise invoice?
    With regards,
    Jhelum Roy.

Check the excise group for the transaction.
The follow the following path in SPRO:
IMG - LG- Tax on Goods Movements-India-Basic Settings-Maintain Excise Groups
There uncheck the box EXCISE INV DURING BILLING
As, this will create Excise Invoice automatically. So, it instructs the system to automatically create an outgong excise invoice immediately you create a commercial invoice or a pro forma invoice. The system creates the excise invoice in the background.
Also, If you want to make use of this function, you must also define the default plant, excise group, and series groups in Customizing for Excise Duty, by choosing Business Transactions -> Outgoing Excise Invoices -> Maintain Default Excise Groups and Series Groups.
If that is uncheck already, create & post inv single step indicator
As, this is automatic posting for J1IS and it instructs the system to automatically verify and post excise invoices that you create using the Excise Invoices for Other Movements transaction.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Automatic creation of NB purch.order from UB re-stock order

    Hi SAP gurus,
we have the following business case (we operate in an R/3 4.6C version): we purchase goods from an Intercompany/3rd party vendor (e.g in US) which are imported in a different EU country (e.g. BE) before being physically received in the final destination country (e.g. ES).
If the user places the PO (NB order) with receiving plant directly the ES plant, this will generate wrong reporting in Intrastat and eventually in VAT (e.g. if Tax code determination is automated on the basis of the receiving country).
From our understanding for getting the right Legal reporting (Intrastat/VAT) a 2 steps process is needed:
    1) create the PO (NB order type) with receiving plant a "virtual" plant in the country of importation (e.g. BE)
    2) create a subsequent re-stock order (UB order type) from the "virtual" plant in the country of importation (e.g. BE) into the real final destination plant (e.g. ES)
Does anybody know if it's possible to have the automatic generation (material master settings via the MRP run in R/3 or APO) of the purchase order (NB order type) as a result of a lack of stock in the supplying plant (the 'virtual' BE one in our example) of a re-stock order (UB order type)?
If so, could you please provide some hints?
Thanks in advance for your help
    Regards
    Michael

    Michael,
From a planning perspective, use Stock Transport orders:
Set up STO BE>ES (Normally, type of sto is dependent on company codes, but I will assume you want UB)
Setup STO US>BE (again, type of sto is determined by business requirements, but I will assume your selection of NB)
You will need a plant in BE.  All the standard STO configuration and master data for both legs of the journey would have to be created.
You will need to perform receipt transactions in the BE plant, as well as issue transactions to the UB order.  One would normally think that the goods must physically move through belgium, and that an importer of record would need to take possession of them at the border.  If you use MTO, the two orders (NB/UB) can be account assigned to the same sales order and therefore linked.
Planning would be satisfied by the two step jump.  Other business requirements would have to be worked out.

    Hi,
For automatic PO creation check the following steps.
    1) Material Master purchasing view tick automatic PO check box
    2) Vendor Master purchasing view tick automatic PO check box.
    3) Maintain Source list for Vendor & Material.
    4) Maintain Purchase Info Record.
    5) Create a Purchase Requisition.
    6) Use T.Code: ME59N & execute for PR for vendor, you will be able to create automatic PO.
    Note:
1.Ensure that Purchase Info Record should be there.
2.If you have more than one vendor then fixes only one vendor in source list.
3.During PR creation select the check box of Source Determination

  • Automatic generation of Idoc

    Hi
I need to automate the idoc generation once a credit memo is created.
Once a billing document is saved, idoc is to be generated automatically.  I have given the output types and condition records thru NACE.
Can anybody suggest a procedure for the automation
    Thanks

    Hi,
    1. Outbound IDOC:- This is usefull to send the IDOC out of the SAP.
    Re: EDI IDOC's
    2. Inbound IDOC:- Generaly your system process the incoming PO and create the Sales Order out of it. It means SAP process the Inbound IDOC to create the Sales Order. Now your Credit Memo it a Sales Order Type (CR).
    Steps are as follows.
    - Partner Profile (WE20): Create a Partner Profile with a Partner Type LS (Logical System). In the inbound parameters add ORDERS as a Message Type. Double click on that. Give Process Code as ORDE. Select the Processing Mode as Trigger Immediately.
So if you want to send the Sales Order out of SAP (Outbound IDOC) follow step 1 else if you wan to create a CR Memo (Inbound IDOC) follow step2.
Hope this will solve your question. Let me know if you still required any more information.
    2.For automatic generation of IDoc ,generally we can go for change pointers;
check General scenariao for Change pointers ::
    1) Tcode BD61---> check the change pointers activated check box
    save and goback.
    2) Tcode BD50---> check the MATMAS check box save and comeback.
    3) Tcode BD51---> goto IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01 select the checkbox save and comeback.
    4) Tcode BD52---> give message type : matmas press ok button.
select all what ever you want and delete remaining fields.
    save & come back.
    5) 5) go to Tcode MM02 select one material and try to change the description and save it
it will effects the target systems material desciption will also changes
    6) goto Tcode SE38 give program Name is : RBDMIDOC and Execute
give Message type : MATMAS and Executte

    Dear Experts,
i want to know if it possible to make automatic generation of penality for employee who didn't clock OUt/IN
    example :
while running the time evaluation if the system found that the employee doesn't have clock in , then automatically pass it and calculate this day as absence day without entering absence day in infotype 2006
Please i need quick answer ASAP.

while running the time evaluation if the system found that the employee doesn't have clock in , then automatically pass it and calculate this day as absence day without entering absence day in infotype 2006 i think it is 2001
    Hi
Kathy before going to the issue please check this
When employee misses out the puch you want it to be an undpaid absence and do not want the absence day in IT2001  (i think this is incorrect since to track no of miss out we need it and also in order to sort out absences unpaid is due to Miss outs of punch in or due to leave for Un authorised we need the records)
When ever employee misses out the punch  we cannot directly assume that it is absence since there might be problem in puching system in that case wht is the plan of action from SAP and does we intimate the employee that he missed out the punch in etc
In standrad this is not best procedure as the system throughs error in PCR TE20

  • Automatic Generation

    hi,
Automatic generation of PO is by using ‘Automatic Via Purchase Requisition’ option in purchasing- Requisition-Follow on Functions- Create PO. However PO can not be created automatically after MRP run. Is there a provision in SAP to release Purchase Orders automatically after MRP run?
    thnks.

    Hi,
Tick the automatic PO and Source List fields in purchase view of the material master for the vendors on whom you would like to release PO automatically. Create a purchase info record. Create source list. In the last column in the details screen of the source list check the field relevant for MRP set the correct parameters for running MRP. But PO can not be created automatically after MRP run.
The automatic PO creation flag enables you to run a batch job that will convert all selected Purchase Requisitions to be converted Purchase Orders in the background.
You may consider scheduling agreements if you want MRP to kick out Purchase Orders. Set the flag in the source list for the scheduling agreement to “2? enabling MRP to kick out delivery schedules for future requirements. If you want to fix the schedule within a certain period you have two options.
    1. Using firm zone - firms all orders within this period . Refer additional data screen of the scheduling agreement at the vendor material level.
    2. Planning time - all new orders outside of the planning time fence - refer MRP 1 view of the material master
    Cheers,
    Chandra Sekhar.

  • Issues during Component Batch Determination for Process Orders

    Hi,
I am encountering a strange issue during component batch determination of process order.
    1. During creation of process order, when I execute batch determination, systems does determination based on strategies we have set and when I click on Copy it gives an error
"Log cannot be saved: Object/subobject not specified"
    Message no. BL201
    *Diagnosis
Log save cancelled because at least one log contains no object or subobject.
Object and subobject are needed to classify application logs because there are several log types. Only a few logs are managed in main memory at runtime, so this classification is not needed.
If the logs are to be saved in the database, object/subobject must be specified for later retrieval.
    Procedure for System Administration
Object/sub object can be passed when a log is created (function module BAL_LOG_CREATE) and changed with BAL_LOG_CHANGE.
The possible values for object and sub object must be configured in transaction SLG0.*
If I save the order with CRTD status and come back again in change mode and do determination, It works fine.
Again when the order is in REL status and do the determination, It gives the same error.
This happens only for a specific plant, In other plants batch determination works in all scenarios.
I checked for all plant related Config for batch determination and coudn't find any discrepancies.
Please advise how to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance for your help
    Regards,
    Aheesh

There Is no direct solution for your requirement just try this work around.
While defining the batch determination search strategy for process order in COB1, there is one column Quantity proposal where you can attach the Routines (This is written in ABAB code )  make use of this, define New Routines with ABAB help to fulfill your requirement. Try this if found useful award full points.
