Average of Turnaround Times

Post Author: cawade
CA Forum: Formula
I have a report for which I need to monitor the time taken for the work to be completed for each customer (excluding weekends) ie the turnaround time.
I am using the following:
Local DateTimeVar d1 := {First Date};
Local DateTimeVar d2 := {Last Date}
DateDiff ("d", d1, d2) -
     DateDiff ("ww", d1, d2, crSaturday) -
     DateDiff ("ww", d1, d2, crSunday)
This work well.
My question is how do I get the average turnaround time.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that I can see how that can work. But
For the final date I have a conditional formula (maximum{final date, group})  I need this because a have various prompts that have results added at various dates but once the last result is inputted that is the final date I require in the calculation.
When this formula is used there is no availability of the field for the summary.
Is there any other way
Thanks

  • Query for order/delivery turnaround time

    Hi, all-
I want to create a query that will show me the turnaround time from the time the sales order is posted to the time the delivery is posted.
An additional twist:  we often have multiple deliveries on a sales order.  Would need to take all of these into account.
Is it as simple as querying the posting date and the Closed date?  But how would I do this?  Or do I need to somehow pull info from both the SO table and the delivery tables?
    Thanks in advance,
    Shelby

    Shelby,
This is something like calculating Average Days to Pay where you need to find the avg turn around time in case of multiple deliveries for 1 Sales Order.
How do you plan to run this Report.  By entering a period range or by entering a Customer Code or by a Sales Order #
Use this query as an idea for the approach
SELECT DISTINCT T0.DocNum, SUM(DATEDIFF(DAY,T0.DocDate,T3.DocDate))/COUNT(T0.DocNum) AS [TurnAround Days],
    COUNT(T0.DocNum) [Number of Deliveries]
    FROM
    [dbo].[ORDR] T0 INNER JOIN [dbo].[RDR1] T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
    INNER JOIN [dbo].[DLN1] T2 ON T2.BaseEntry = T0.DocEntry
    INNER JOIN [dbo].[ODLN] T3 ON T3.DocEntry = T2.DocEntry
    WHERE T0.DocStatus = 'C'
    GROUP BY T0.DocNum
Note:  This query will list all the Sales Orders that are closed and will show turnaround days to close the Order completely and the number of deliveries to close the order completely.

  • Avg. turnaround time: App submissions to Amazon (Kindle Fire)?

Anyone had much experience with submitting apps to Amazon Marketplace for Android (Kindle Fire)?
Curious to know: What's the average turnaround time for review/approval (presuming the app isn't rejected after review)? For Apple, we generally cite 1-2 weeks.
    Josh

Average time is 3-5 days. Sometimes Amazon says that they need more time to review the App (I presume that that's when they find any concern) so I've seen them take upto 9 days on some apps.

  • On average, how many times do you have to restart ...

Ever since I've been using the E71 (less than a month, a new set), I have to restart it about thrice daily. Mostly, the problem occurs while connecting the phone to the PC (Windows 7) when the USB connection type selector on the phone (which appears when you connect the cable and asks for which mode to connect in) freezes; but some other times, just about any application (including the built-in ones) decides to take a nap and the only way to get it back is turn the set off and then back on again. And as soon as that is done, the app icons are all moved back from the customized folders to the folder "Installations" - very frustrating. I'm afraid of restarting this phone as lots of settings and app icons revert back to the defaults after restarting and I've to go through them again. But at the same time, there seems to be no way to make a stuck USB connection type selector work again without restarting.
Well, from my experience here, I know this particular problem has no solution. (Even if the process is ended using an external app manager, it hangs again on starting the app. This continues until the phone is restarted.) Therefore, I'm not looking for a solution here, although one will be welcome if you've undergone the same and have found a workaround. I just wanna know if you do also have to restart your phone. (I also have one Sony Ericsson and an iPhone; I don't generally need to restart them as long as I don't want to restart. At my current place, however, a Nokia phone is all I can use.)
So, do you have to restart your phone when you don't actually want to? If so, on average how many times a day (or a week)? This will help me determine if the problem lies with the phone or it's me who's doing something differently. Is there something you need to do regularly or often (like connecting the phone to the computer) and that operation generally results in a restart of the phone? Thank you for your response.

Yes I have apps installed on the SD card. Shifting them to the internal memory is not really an option (would leave very little free space over there which would then cause other problems). Besides, if the phone allows you to install the apps on the card, shouldn't they work from there? Yes, they should.
Without the card, there will be no custom apps and the phone would be almost useless (will turn into a basic device used to make calls and send text). To me, this is not an option. Also, I don't see how it would solve the problem automagically after some time.
The card doesn't seem to be faulty. I tried to connect the phone without the card inserted and it got connected alright for two times but the USB mode chooser froze the third time, just the same as with the card inserted. So a new card is probably not going to solve the problem.
Must be something strange happening here. Maybe it's due to the apps installed on the card rather than the internal memory, but I just cannot install all those apps within that limited space.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm waiting for more members' experience to come to any conclusion.

  • Apple Tech. Service Turnaround Time For Repairs?

I contacted Apple today and made arrangements to send my phone in for either repair or replacement (hope it's repair...) because my usage meter is still not functioning...and my touchscreen has suddenly lost a big degree of sensitivity, taking sometimes 2-3 taps for each function.
They were kind enough to wave the $30 loaner fee for me, and my Apple Care loaner should be here tomorrow.
My question: how long is the turnaround time for normal repairs or replacements with Apple?
I would like my phone back ASAP, naturally.
    Thanks for the help!!

    You're welcome.
I realize this process seems like it will be inconvenient but it actually works quite well. I went through this within the first few weeks after 6/29 due to occasional crackling with the earpiece. My iPhone was exchanged for a new one and I was impressed with the process. I preferred having Fed-Ex deliver the loaner iPhone - using the same box to return my iPhone and doing the same with my replacement and the loaner iPhone. For me this is preferable than driving to a store and waiting in line, etc. and then returning later to repeat that process. I like doing this from the comforts of home or in my situation, from the comforts of my office.
Don't sweat it - it will end up being all good.

  • HT1438 Estimated cost and turnaround time for new iPad screen replacement?

Looking to see what others have experienced in roundabout cost and turnaround time for screen/glass replacement on new iPad... Everything else seems to be in working order...

Apple's Limited Warranty http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/ for iPad excludes coverage for damage resulting from accident, disassembly, unauthorized service and unauthorized modifications.
Apple will provide a replacement iPad for:
    iPad model
    Out-of-Warranty Service Fee
    New iPad
    $299
    iPad 2, iPad
    $249
You can get the glass replaced at 3rd party repair sources for less $, however, the Apple warranty will be voided.

still, at least they will replace it for you, even it is not quite so swift..
    please dont misquote me
at least they owned up to the problem and promised to fix any problems under warranty
I didn't think I was changing the meaning of your post by only quoting the bit I was commenting on -- I apologise if you think otherwise.
Given they broke the phones, agreeing to fix them is the very least they can do. They knew more than two weeks ago they were going to have a significant number of dead phones to deal with -- why didn't they ensure they had an adequate number of replacements in stock? This is Nokia's central servicing facility in the UK we are talking about, not a little corner shop ...

  • UCCE 7.5 how to get BHCA and Average Call Handle time?

    Hi everybody,
I'm trying to do an audit of the existing UCCE system.
Can someone please tell me how to get the BHCA and Average Call Handle time for agent?
I did a SQL query against the CallTypeHalfHour table for all the entering Call Type but I'm not sure that's the right BHCA.
    Thanks in advance,
    Best Regards,

    Hi again Geoff,
Before closing this thread, I'm curious about your query against TCD for average handle time.
    Here's mine using Skill_Group_Half_Hour
    SELECT
        SUM(HandledCallsTalkTimeToHalf) AS TalkTime,
        SUM(IncomingCallsOnHoldTimeToHalf) AS HoldTime,
        SUM(CallsHandledToHalf) AS HandledCalls,
          AHT =
                CASE
                WHEN SUM(CallsHandledToHalf) > 0 THEN (SUM(HandledCallsTalkTimeToHalf) +SUM(IncomingCallsOnHoldTimeToHalf)) / SUM(CallsHandledToHalf)
                ELSE 0
                END
    FROM t_Skill_Group_Half_Hour
    WHERE DateTime between '02/01/11 00:00' and '02/28/11 23:30'
Besides, can you please also tell me how to get the Average Waiting Time (time before get answered by an agent) ?
    Thank you in advance, Geoff,

  • Average HTTP response time going up week by week as said by SAP

    Hello All,
I was looking into our SRM earlywatch report,SRM is on windows SQL server 2005 with Windows 2003 server
In the performance indicators, there is an interseting trend though nothing is in yellow or red
The values of following parameters : average response time in HTTP task, the maximum no of HTTP steps per hour and the average DB request time in HTTP task  are going up
I understand that as the no of HTTP steps are increasing, the response time is becoming more which is quite obvious.
But how to balance this load out so that the average response time comes down?
what steps should be taken so that I can get this response time to come down though the load on the server is going up
    Rohit

    Hi Rohit,
Is you system in High Avalibity setup? If yes, then try to load the balance on Node A and Node B. If this is already done or if your system is not in high availability then plan and install a Additional application server (Dialog instance) for load sharing.
    Regards,

Also, we are making one for my mother's 65th bday but I want to show it to my sisters before I order it...they do not live in the same state....does anyone know if it is possible to email it to them?

http://www.apple.com/support/photoservices/shipping/ - basically 3 to 4 business days production plus shipping of 3 to 14 business days
Or, can I just order it 2 day delivery & it will be here in 2 days?
    no

Not really - they are big files - you probably need to do a print to PDF (or right click (control click) on a grey background area and select preview book from the contextual menu and save the PDF and burn it to a CD and ship it - once you have the PDF you can try e-mails it but it probably will fail on either your end or her's because of the size
And maybe you can downsize the preview since you will not be printing from it.

  • Very slow turnaround time for development

Is there any way to speed up the turnaround time for developing J2EE applications
with pageflows? I make a minor change in my JSP or my JPF and the time it takes
to build and run again is pretty bad. Don't you guys do any incremental compilation?

Change in JPF will take time. but in JSP, it's ok.

  • Number value average based on time average

    Hello,
I am in need of help of trying to develop a formula to determine numerical average based on time average.  The example I have is,
    Time
    Value
    9:00:00
    102
    9:00:05
    103
    9:00:10
    104
    9:00:15
    105
    9:00:20
    106
    9:00:25
    107
    9:00:30
    108
    9:00:35
    109
    9:00:40
    110
    9:00:45
    111
    9:00:50
    112
    9:00:55
    113
Is it possible to create a formula that would spit out the average value for a one minute average?  Thank you.

Not really sure, If I get what you need... but anyway - there are statistical functions in Excel, that could help you achieve that result ..
First idea - you don't have the whole "minute" data - so we can calculate the target value, if the time gets to 9:01:00 ... since you have linear data (see chart in attachment), we can use LINTREND function, that calculates one new value based
on known previous values... for time 9:01:00 the value would probably be 114. After that, you can calculate the standard AVERAGE function..or am I missing something here? :)
Try to go through the attachment and let me know it it works for you..

  • EM Alert: Critical: Metrics "Global Cache Average Current Get Time" is at X

I frequently get this notification email alert from the enterprise manager. What does this mean and should I ignore it or work on it?
    Name=<sid>_<instancename>
    Type=Database Instance
    Host=<servername>.<domainname>
Metric=Global Cache Average Current Block Request Time (centi-seconds)
    Timestamp=Jan 27, 2009 9:27:20 PM GST
    Severity=Critical
Message=Metrics "Global Cache Average Current Get Time" is at 1.46154
    Rule Name=XXProd
    Rule Owner=SYS
    [email protected]

those metrics shows the effect of accessing blocks in the global cache and maintaining cache coherency.
basically, the response time for Cache Fusion transfers is determined by the messaging time and
processing time imposed by the physical interconnect components, the IPC protocol, and the
    GCS protocol.
therefore, Inter-Instance performance issues can be caused by:
    1) Under configured network settings at the OS
    2) dropped packets, retransmits, or cyclic redundancy check errors (CRC)
    3) large number of processes in the run queue waiting for CPU
    4) high value for the DB_FILE_MULTIBLOCK_READ_COUNT
Note also that poor SQL or bad optimization paths can cause additional block gets via the interconnect, just as not using ASSM for Locally Managed Tablespaces, or not using CACHE NOORDER for sequence, ...
