Avoid Cache for one particular request

Hi,
I have a Dashboard with one dashboard prompt and one report in the same section. I have to go to the database all the time only for this report, so in the Advanced Tab of the report, in Prefix, I am using - set variable disable_cache_hit = 1;
The dashboard Prompt, has a field that is being populated from the same table, but how can I make the dashboard prompt, to disabale cache and go to the database??

Use Show SQL in prompts and use 'set variable disable_cache_hit = 1;' before ur sql like
set variable disable_cache_hit = 1; select column from subject area

EDI message is not sending to the third party for one particular SA

DearAll,
We have the scenario to send the schedule lines to the third party system. for one particular schedule agreement schedule lines not sending to the third party system.
while processing the messgae it is giving the error as "Message XEDI already processed on 20110317 070042"
What could be the reason?.. we have checked all the EDI settings maintained for this supplier. some two weeks back there is no problem now only getting this message.
how to resolve this?..

Thanks a lot for the help. I have tried with removing the xml namespace, still the same result. I believe, the problem is with MTs tag in response message structure, bank xml data is trying to map with the response structure in PI, but when its finding the MTs tag I believe then its not mapping, and directly its passing the response in SXMB_MONI without any mapping.
My question is how can I define my response structure without the MTs tagm, I mean same as what I am receiving from bank.
Also I tried with without any mapping in response structure, I mean I used only one Message type for "response from bank" to "response to ECC" , without xml namespace, in this case I am able to receive the response in ECC, but there is exception called "PARSE_APPLICATION_DATA Error during XML => ABAP
conversion: Response Message; CX_ST_MATCH_ELEMENT in " while receiving response, and when I go and see the logs, it says "System expected element 'MT_Response_MT940_Test'" , as its try to match with the defined structure in PI.
Please experts help me, so my question is how can I avoid the MTs tag in my response structure, I just want to define my response structure in PI same as bank is sending me the data in xml tag, without any MTs tag.

Dialog box says-"Bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cache. ... purge central cache" For one, I can't find the central cache and two, I've purged the cache in bridge. Shouldn't that help.

Our Bridge has been acting very strange. When I use the burn/dodge tool sometimes it drags and staggers and takes forever to complete whatever I'm burning/dodging. When I try to delete an image from the dock, it won't disappear but it won't display either.
Any help would be appreciated.

The Central Cache is the Bridge Cache.
It's referred as the Central Cache to differentiate it from the individual folder's cache or even the individual image cache.

Query not executing for one particular value

Hi
I have query on multi provider. and this multi provider is combination of Info objects only but not any ODS or cubes. I have one key figure in this multi provider.while executing the query i need to give input for variabl which has 7 different values. Query is executing fine for 6 values but not for one particular value.
query executed in listcube transaction and it is executed fine here for the same selection. then what might be the reason?
Please advise as soon as possible.

Making short text field in Display mode for one particular Purchasing

Hi All,
This is regarding Making the Short text field in Display mode of PR for one Particular Purchasing.. i am giving you a bit elaborate...We are into E-Catalog Procurement.I will do the shopping from the Vendors external catalog and i will return back to SAP.
While doing so, i dont want the user to change the Short Text field. I want that field shud display the Description. When i tried with the Screen Layout settings, it is fully grayed out and i am not able to see the Description of the Material. Is there any other options to get this enabled?. Please advice me on this settings to be done. Thanks in Advance.

Define a Field selection key (new not the one which is assigned to document type) which makes short text editable in screen layout config. and assign it to functional authorization value in t.code OMET. (it should be numeric). Then assign that functional authorization value in user master SU01 for users with parameter id EFB.

Ship-To Address not getting picked for one particular user

Hi SRM Gurus,
I am working on SRM5.0 system with ECC6.0 as backend.
For one particular SRM user, the Ship-To address number which has been maintained in his attributes through transaction PPOMA_BBP, as default delivery address, is not populated when he creates a SC.
This default ship-to address is not seen while creating the cart even though the address can be found via the F4 search help in the same SC.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening for one particular user?
Please note that this problem is occuring even when the user is shopping for self and creating a new SC (no copying from template). So SAP note 1055203 is not valid in my case.
I have checked the ADRC table, and this address number exists. Infact, when I assign this address number to some other user's Ship-To attribute, this default delivery address is picked in the SC.
So, I understand that the problem is not with the address, but with the linking of this address number to this user. I even tried deleting and re-assigning the address number in the attribute to this user. But, it doesnot work still.
Can anyone help me out?

Ship to address not being picked from attributes for any user it was being picked from Org address data , and I had reset the value
now , when I am trying to create a SC and I have tried to add delivery address bby 2 types .
1. By adding through the portal
2> i have tried to add the same throgh ppomabbp in user attributes "Delivery address"
I have also made it default however when I raise the SC it again shows me as blank :

Issue in data replication for one particular table

Hi,
We have implemented streams in out test environment and testing the business functionalities. We have an issue in data replication for only one custom table all other tables data replications are proper no issue. When we do 100 rows update data replication is not happening for that particular table.
Issue to simulate
Update one row -- Replication successful.
100 rows update -- After 3-4 hrs nothing happened.
Please let me know did any of you have come across similar issue.

Extreme slowness on apply site are usually due to lock, library cache locks or too big segments in streams technical tables left after a failure during heavy insert. these tables are scanned with full table scan and scanning hundreds of time empty millions of empty blocks result in a very big loss of performance, but not in the extend your are describing. In your case it sound more like a form of lock.
We need more info on this table : Lob segments? tablespace in ASSM?
If the table is partitioned and do you have a job that perform drop partitions? most interesting is what are the system waits nd above all the apply server sessions waits. given the time frame, I would more looks after a lock or an library cache lock due to a drop partitions or concurrent updates. When you are performing the update, you may query 'DBA_DDL_LOCKS', 'DBA_KGLLOCK' and 'DBA_LOCK_INTERNAL' to check that you are not taken in a library cache lock.

Creation of PO only for one particular storage location

One of my material is extended to four storage location within a plant say S001 S002 S003 and S004 but here requirment is at the time of raising PO for this material,system should always propose only one particular storage location say S001. Is this possible

May be u can add particular storage location in <b>personal setting</b> so that for all PO it will be picked as default storage location.
system will propose storage location at the time of GR based on storage location maintained in Material master

you can use the authorisation object M_MSEG_LGO. To restrict users from using storage location other than which they have authorised for

Is there any way to disable caching for a particular component?

I have a component which should always produce the output by executing a code and not from the dispatcher cache.
Is there any way to clear the dispatcher cache for the component or is it possible to disable the component caching.

The dispatcher caches the entire HTTP response body, so doing what you are describing actually requires two steps:
1) Loading the non-cacheable component through Ajax (or some other edge side assembly technology like ESI)
2) Including the Dispatcher: no-cache header in the response when that component is requested.
#1 is pretty easy to do with jQuery

You will probably want to use the WCMMode to only do the dynamic loading on the publish server.

Is there a way to change the ring tone to none for one particular contact?

I see there is an option to turn the text message settings for a particular contact to 'none'. Is there a way to change the ring tone to 'none' or 'silent' for only one contact. This is a person who calls way too often and I used to turn their ringer to 'none' when I had a blackberry. This way I can talk to this person when it is convenient for me and not have to listen to the ringer everytime they call.

You need to sync a silent ringtone to your phone & then assign it to that contact. Here's one already made:

im looking to be able to have, or create adifferent alarm sound/notification for one type of entry into a Reminder and/or Calendar. I have one thing i need to book at a certain number of days before it happens very regularly so i have to call and book ata particular time. Having 2 children i have my phone around me but can forget to look at it when i set the normal reminders. I dont want it making nois all thje time, so would like to be able to select a custom or different noise for this one entry. Looks like i can do it on my Mac by selecting 'open file' and having it open a sound file. Can i do siilar on my phone?
or any ideas on an app?
or different way to work it?
any ideas gratefully recieved

Imessage is not working, but only for one particular contact.

I cannot send/recive imessages from one particular contact, messages are sent as SMS. All other contacts are fine with imessaging, so why just this particular one? Please help??!!

If you can send imessage to other users execpt for this one particular person. Then the issue would be with him/her and not your phone. That person will have to figure out whats going on.
