Azure Spending Cap - Data Deleted

I have a BizSpark subscription on Azure. We run our company website and a couple of VM's on there. Apparently a spending limit was on the subscription, and last night the BizSpark credit for the month ran out and my subscription was disabled.
Our website and VM's were deleted. I received no email or any warning of the credit running low etc. It's a serious situation for us, and I'm wondering if anyone can advise on any possible way to recover the Wordpress website? I don't think it had been backed
up very recently unfortunately, or at least I can't find where the backups would be.
I need to rectify this urgently - any help would be massively appreciated.

I went through this once and the scenario was exactly the same. By that time there was no Azure WebSite Backup. However, I was advised that I should contact the Suppor team in order to get my data back (if even posible).
However, I totally recommend hooking up the Backup configuration data, especially for Azure WebSites.
In another order of ideas, the answer is no: there's no out-of-the-box recovery of your data. Please contact the support team instead.

Finish date deleted automatically

If I delete a resource from a taks that is marked as finish, Project automatically (sometimes) marks the task as unfinished.
Is there any way to keep Project from trying to be too clever? In most cases there was minimal or no work needed, or done by someone else.. this does not matter as the task is finished and I'm only using Project for planning.

I've never heard of such a bug. Nevertheless MS Project has a powerful scheduling engine that requires to follow scheduling best practices. Such as not deleting a resource assigned on a task with actual work which results in loosing the actual.
That being said, many parameters could create such an unexpected behavior such as the task type (fixed work or duration), constraints on the start date, deleting actual start and finish dates, other resources assined on the same task, new task
creation date parameter (project start or current date), ...

Issue while playing the content of Azure Media Services after deleting the channel.

We are having the issue while playing the content of Azure Media Services after deleting the channel.
Please find detail scenarios below:
We have done live streaming of an event using Azure Media Services, event was around 5-6 hrs. After completion of event channel was deleted, when we checked content data
it was only 1hr. Content has only last 1 hr. recording, we are unable to get full recoding.
We divided event into two parts to avoid above issue. After completion of 1st part which was of 2 hrs., we stopped the streaming and deleted the channel. New channel was
created and streaming was started for 2<sup>nd</sup> part, after completion of event channel was deleted. Now we are unable to play the content data for 1st part but able to play the 2nd part of event through content publish URL.
We have done streaming of 3 hrs. event on 18th April with same process and full recoding was available.
Can you let me know what might be the issue?

Load of EBS Supply Chain data deletes data for General Ledger

Hi,
we are trying to load data from EBS 11.5.10 to BIAPPS 7.9.6. We have loaded data to Financials Subject Areas (Budget, Financials - COGS, Financials - General Ledger, Financials - Payables, Financials - Receivables) using pre-defined execution plan Financials_Oracle 11.5.10 and data has been successfuly loaded and shown on dashboards.
Later we have loaded data into Supply Chain Subject Areas (Employee Expenses, Financials - Payables, Supply Chain - AP Invoices, Supply Chain - Purchase Cycle Lines, Supply Chain - Purchase Order, Purchase Receipt, Purchase Requisitions) using pre-defined execution plan Procurement and Spend: Oracle 11.5.10. After this load data are visible on Procurement and Spend dashboards but previously loaded data on Financials - General Ledger dashboards are missing.
So we have loaded data to Financials again which brought Financials data back to dashboards but data for Procurement and spend disappeared.
We have also trying to load all data using Complete Oracle 11.5.10 execution plan. After this load most of the dashboards for Financials and Procurement and spend are empty.
And finally we have created our own execution plans for Financials, Supply Chain and both and tried the same scenario. The results are the same. It seems to me that load of Financials data deletes Supply Chain data and vice versa.
Can somebody advice how to load data for Financials and Supply Chain together?

I have to add new info: the all data are back and visible after the night. We didn't perform any actions. Does anybody know about some settings which can cause such behaviour?

Data Error in the Query/Report after selective data deletion for infocube

Hi Experts,
Please advise what i was missing and what went wrong...
I got a Query (Forecast) on a Multicube...which is based on 2 Infocubes with Aggregates...
As i identified some data discrepency..yesteraday i performed selective data deleation on one of the Infocube
and executed report yesteraday and the results in the query are correct...
When today i executed the same report i am getting different results..
When i compared the results of the report with that of data in cube they are not matching
The report is not displaying the data in cube..for some rows it is displaying the data in the cube but for some rows it is just displaying same as the above row
there is no data loaded into info cube after selective deleation
Do i need to perform request compression and fill the aggregated after selective deleation
Please advise what went wrong

No i haven't done anything on aggregates before or after selective delete
As there is not data load after the selective delete according to SAP Manual we don't need to perform any thing on aggregates...as selective data deletion on cube will delete data from aggregates as well

Application for a user to cap data usage?

Why do none of the 'smart' phones come with an application to cap data usage....?
If you are pay as you go, the networks know when to cut you off, it is around the time your prepaid amount hits zero. So why cannot a user state yes I would like the ability to go over my allowance, or no I would like the data allowance to be the limit?
One particular network in the UK will charge £4.50 per mb when you exceed your allowance,
and even with this exorbitant fee, will not allow you to cap it.
Surely this would be a good basic tool to ship with any phone.

Probably because smartphones are designed to be permanently connected to the internet which is why all the networks offer "unlimited" data tariffs.
I put unlimited in quotes because these unlimited tariffs still have limits (500mb or whatever is stipulated per month). But you don't have to cap your usage unless you are an extremely high data user, in which case you shouldn't be on a PAYG tariff.
Even PAYG customers can pay for a similar "unlimited" add-ons to their standard PAYG tariff. For example, O2 offers 300 UK texts and 500MB of data when you top-up £10 a month. If you are charged £4.50 per MB when you exceed your allowance, this is a very good deal.
In most cases, unless you really don't use the smartphone to its full extent, being on a contract with "unlimited" data included works out cheaper than paying full price for the handset, and then paying for what you use on top each month. Most networks sting PAYG users for data usage.

Data deletion on primary index and secondary index

Hello, I have a question regarding data deletion in BDB-JE.
Suppose I have an Entity class which has a primary index and a secondary index, the secondary key does not have outer related entity. So when I want to delete this entity, is it correct we only need to remove the entity from primary index? or I also need to do it for secondary index or just remove it from secondary index and internally BDB_JE will remove it from primary index?

You can delete an Entity using the delete method for primary index or the secondary index. When an entity is deleted, secondary index records are automatically deleted. The primary and secondary indices are always kept in sync.

Early upgrade, (Switching from unlimited to capped data?) 4g LTE

Okay so I originally had a Droid 3 on the unlimited data plan, (blackberry tour before that). I was grandfathered into the unlimited data plan, my Droid 3 was having the same issues everyone else's had so I got rid of it and switched to an HTC Thunderbolt. My HTC thunderbolt is stuck on the single "HTC" screen while booting up, it constantly buzzes and loads the same page over and over again. Many people have been posting this issue all over verizon,and HTC support alike yet nothing has been done to help me and it doesn't appear it will be.
So my main question is would Verizon be willing to upgrade my line early, If I give up my grandfathered unlimited data for a capped data plan. IMO it seems like it would be a smart business move to get as many people as possible off of their unlimited data as that is the companies plan, and if I had any say as a company I would allow it just to cap data. So what are my chances of getting an upgraded if I explain to a supervisor I will sign off of the unlimited data I currently have for capped data.

I went to a store to do my wife's upgrade, and mine was due 3 day later, and they would not let me do it, I even told them that I had a NE2 credit coming since it was still there the last time I upgraded, and that they could keep the $$ from that just to let me.
Nope....
Now, others have said that they have been allowed to do an earlier than normal upgrade by extending their contract 2 years past their upgrade date..
I guess it would depend on how long you had to go before you are scheduled for the upgrade?

PSA Data Deletion in SAP BW running on Oracle

Hi,
I deleted 2 failed requests (10000000 Records) from PSA Tables because of the disk space issue for our BW System.
RSA1PSA DELETE PSA DATA
The requests are deleted from the PSA, In BW in can see that there not requests in that particular PSA.
But Basis/Database team raised an issue that the data has been added to the Database
What is this mean and how can I proceed with this

Missing secondary index after TDMS data deletion

We have done a TDTIM transfer to a single client system. The deletion technique used by TDMS is Drop-insert technique.
During our initial analysis, we found that many of the secondary indices are not re-created by TDMS at database level. For many few tables the secondary indices are re-created at the database level.
Will TDMS delete and re-create the secondary index for re-created (droped & created) tables during data deletion in receiver system ?
Why did TDMS re-create secondary indices for few tables and why it didnot re-create secondary indices for few other tables?

Indexes are deleted from the receiver only in cases when they were not present at the DB level in the receiver system
prior to TDMS run. This is to avoid any kind of error/exceptions when records are inserted into the table.
You need to create these indexes manually.
In order to do so, you can follow the steps below:
1. Execute transaction DB02.
2. Select the button "missing indexes". A list of 1091 is shown
3. Place the cursor on the line "secondary indexes" and hit F9
4. Now hit "create on DB".
5. A popup will ask if you want to do a mass select. Press "Yes"
6. A further Popup will then ask for background processing. Say "Yes".

In the manage screen of the dso goto reconstruction tab .. Just beside the reconstruction button you will find a button as "Logs" .. click on it .. in the next option you need to select the deletion request from the infocube and select continue .. It brings in a table with the status and Message .. select the relevant line and click on the application log .. It leads you to the slg1 screen with the inputs and there you just need to execute and it pulls out all the information for you ..

'Shrink space' has requirements:
shrink_clause
The shrink clause lets you manually shrink space in a table, index-organized table or its overflow segment, index, partition, subpartition, LOB segment, materialized view, or materialized view log. This clause is valid only for segments in tablespaces with automatic segment management. By default, Oracle Database compacts the segment, adjusts the high water mark, and releases the recuperated space immediately.
Compacting the segment requires row movement. Therefore, you must enable row movement for the object you want to shrink before specifying this clause. Further, if your application has any rowid-based triggers, you should disable them before issuing this clause.

what are you updating? But the short answer is no. whether an iOS device or a Mac you should't "lose" anything. the only problems you might run into are compatibility issues with software not being able to run on newer system software....ie. upgrading to OSX LION means no more PPC apps anymore.

Issue with master data deletion

In one of our report, there is a filter option on country.The help values on this filters shows some country codes along with country Text values.These codes were once used before the codes with text were maintained.We dont want these codes to appear in the selection options.
Filter looks like this :
AE
AZ
Austria
Australia
B
Belgium
Now, once the texts were maintained, we deleted the data from cube and reloaded it however, the filter option still shows those codes.
I checked in the cube entries and these codes are no where used.
These codes are however, still lying in the dimension table.
how can we get rid of these country codes in the selection option.
Query already have option of having only posted values in Infoprovider as selection input.
I hav tried RSRV elementary test "Entries not used in dimension table" n this didnt work.
Any clue ?

Dbl click 0COUNTRY infoobject, under 'Business Explorer' tab, select Only Values in InfoProvider' for 'Query Def Filter Value selection' & 'Query Execution Filter Value selection'. See whether this works.
