Back Date Storage location Stock / Subcontractor Stock

Dear SAP Guru (s)
Please confirm can we get back date stock at storage location with value and quantity. Also tell me how can we take one subcontractor stock at any particular date.
We are using MB5B, but it is giving only quantity at storage location level and value at plant level.
Full points if problem solved.

Execute MB5B with special stock and O for special stock indicator, and then double click the material number, you can get all the material document NO.

Dear All
I need to developa report exactly same as MB5B but with storage location and batch wise.
We need storage location wise opening stock, total receipts, total issues and closing stock, and values for given time period.
I have gone through some history tables like MCHBH and MBEWH.
But all the history tables are having fileds for period wise but not date wise.
Any focus on this?

You have to read the coding of MB5B to see how SAP is doing it.
The stock per date is calculated, starting from a month end, adding or reducing quantities based on movements until the date in question is reached.

Storage location wise project stock valuation

I am tying to generate a report for storage locationwise project stock valuation. MBBS is giving the data valuation type as well as WBS element wise valuation.That is fine. I want to show the data storage location wise. So, I have taken MSPR table where I am getting data storage location wise. For this stock, i am picking up unit price from QBEW table. My user says there will be cases that the material comes in with different prices in a same financial period.Here I am facing issue when there are two prices for the same material with same Val.area and same WBS element .Pls tell me how can I pick up the correct price.

If stock with different price under 1 plant and 1 WBS Element put into different storage location based on the material price then in table MSPR we can have LGORT (storage location) as indicator there. Otherwise, since valuation type is not implemented, there is no other way you can differentiate stock based on price as you mentioned before.

Storage Location priority in Stock Transfer Order

Hi Friends
We are starting to use stock transfers (STO) from one plant to another plant and will have same product / batch in multiple locations in the sending plant. Is it possible specify that this Stock Transfer Order in sending plant needs to pull material from a certain location when I create the STO?
For example if material X ,Batch Y is present in SLoc 0001 ,0002,0003 the material X stock needs to be first pulled from 0001 and if it is not present in 0001 then it should pick from Sloc 0002 and then followed by Sloc 0003.

Hi,
To achieve this, you have to settings for Stock determination strategy
Navigation :
SPRO - IMG - Material management - Inventory Management and Physical Inventory - Stock Determination - Define Strategies for Stock Determination
Maintain strategy for stock determination
Priority wised storage location numbers and Batch/Valuation types.
Then you program first check stock availability in the first priority storage location. If stock is there, then system will pick. Other wise , it will go for the second priority storage location.

0ic_c03 storage location wise - Valuated Stock Value is Blank

Dear Gurus,
I have successfully loaded Inventory data as per standard document.
Stock Qty and Value both are matching correctly at Plant Level, Material Level. All scenarios tested okay.
But as soon as I drill down further by Storage Location, It shows only Stock Qty. Stock Value becomes Blank.
Please suggest if anything missing in transformation or any assignment or routine.
10 marks will be given if suggestion works, for hints also I will give some marks.

As per our business process there are one company and in which many plants and storage location are available. In which many materials are available in different plant in different storage location.
As per SAP Standard structure: -
Company >> Company code1 & Company code2... >> Plant 1 & Plant 2 & Plant 3 .... >> Storage location 1 & 2 & 3........
And in all plant and storage location have different data.
Suppose in one plant we do quality testing for material and it may be possible in other plant we not perform quality testing for material. So in this case for same material quality data is different for different plants.
Client Level: - Means data is same for all plant level like Basic data
Plant Level: - Means data is based on plant level like Purchasing, Plant data, Quality data, Accounting view.
Storage location level: - Means data is based on storage location level, for different storage location data will be different like Storage location stock data ..
Due to this you can maintain different data on plant level & storage location level.

Alarming and Event Data Storage Locations

I'm having a problem where the Alarms and Events files are filling up the system disk and causing Lookout to crash. Is there any way I can set things up so that those files are stored on another disk? I already have the Historical files being archived on a separate disk, but the alarms and events seem to have stayed on the System disk. The system disk doesn't have that much free space all the time, which is why I put the historical files somewhere else.
Also, I have the Historical Data system set to only archive data for 90 days (it was changed a while back from storing perpetually), but I still have files in the database going back years. Is there a way to purge the old data out?

David,
It's important to note the alarms and events are actually in a separate database from Citadel.
This KnowledgeBase article discusses removing/archiving alarms from the database:

Moving the alarms database is a bit more tricky. It uses the MSDE 2000 SQL engine, which defaults to using a database on the drive it gets installed to. I think short of installing Lookout to another drive, there's no "easy" way to move it over.

Master data storage location

Hai everybody,
In SAP BW, the cubes and ODS contain the data loaded. They have only dimension tables and fact tables but not any Master data(the texts, attributes & hierarchies). My question is where is the Master data loaded stored? Does SAP has a special location for it or does it need to have another database support to store this data?

The master data is stored in master data tables: Like, /BI0/SMATERIAL for Material Values and thier SIDs, /BI0/PMATERIAL for material time independant master data, /BI0/QMATERIAL for material time dependant master data, /BI0/TMATERIAL for Texts and /BI0/HMATERIAL, /BI0/IMATERIAL and /BI0/KMATERIAL for hierarchies.
You can look up the tables in InfoObject maintenances (RSD1) or in SE16 with InfoObject.

Need to display the Stock Values at storage location level - 0IC_C03

Hi All,
I am developing Stock Movent Report on 0IC_C03 - Material Stocks/Movements.
I have more than one storage location for plant. Stock quantities are calculating at storage location level and Stock Values are calculating at plant level.
I have no issues with quantities. Only problem with Values.
2LIS_03_UM is not picking the starage location, so that the revaualtion values are falling under unassigned nodes. When i set filter on storage location these values were not showing as they are under un assigned nodes (#).
I want to get the Stock Quantity and Stock Values at Storage location level in my report.
I found that soulution for that is Applying SAP Note : How to Realize summarized display of stock values on storage
I have done development as per the document. But when i run the Query it is going to debug mode first and then it saying This program cannot display the webpage
Can any one faced the same situation, Please help me if so.

   Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.
   What you can try:
     Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected.
     Retype the address.
     Go back to the previous page.

No Stock value at Storage location level in BW report

I am facing problem in getting stock valuation at storage location level.
The problem is that, in R/3 Stock valuation is done at plant level, when we do storage location to storage location movement , only stock quantity gets changed and no FI entry is getting generated . So there is no movement of stock values at all. when we load this transaction data into BW , obviously i will arrive with wroung value . so what to do in this case ?

Inspected stock posting to multiple storage location without batch

Hi,
At the time of Usage Decision, I want to post the inspected stock to multiple storage location i.e., Rejected Stock to Scrap Storage Location, Qualified Stock to Unrestricted Use Storage Location.

The scrap line has no storage location since that stock is typically written off and scrap cost center is defined in configuration.
A possible alternative is to set up VMENGE08 and VMENGE09 with the same material movements you want to use. You obviously aren't using the 553 movement type as that writes off the material. That could give you two lines to use for your scraping. I can't remember if these stock posting lines give you the storage location option or not and I don't have a sandbox available to test today. If you need to post more then two grades in one inspection lot, you'll have to do the first two postings, save the UD, then come back in and do a second posting for the next two grades.
Read the configuration help file you'll find in confg for "Define Inventory Postings" under the QM config.
You can also change the displayed names of the stock posting lines. That's explained in the config file as well.

Stock Overview per plant wise/Storage location wise

is there any transaction or report to get Stock overview plantwise/ storagelocationwise ... except MMBE it gives particular material.. i want per particular plant or storage location total materials stock.
I want stock report similar to MMBE it gives available stock per single material in a palnt but my requirement to print available stock per all materials in a given material along with storagelocation wise/batch wise and total quantity.
Points guaranteed..

There's quite a lot you can do in Logistics Info Systems to report on stocks across multiple materials.
Other than that, it depends on what you really want to show - stock that's physically present (e.g. including vendor-owned consignment), stock that you own (e.g. including customer consignment or toll manufacturers' stocks); do you want to show quantities (doesn't usually make much sense for more than one material, of course, due to varying units of measure) or values, etc.
Some of these data are quite expensive to read from a runtime perspective, in particular the "special" stocks (e.g. consignment).
You also have to consider that stock you own but that's not physically present on site (e.g. customer consignment), or GR blocked stock, usually is not assigned to a storage location.
If you give me some more info about what you're actually trying to achieve, I may be able to help you better.

Downlading Material stocks and its Value, storage location wise

Dear Experts,
As we are reimplementing SAP, we need to download the
a)     stocks Plant and storage location wise for all the materials. Bcoz stocks are maintained in different storage locations.
b)     Value of stocks for each material in the Plant and storage location wise, Bcoz stock qty will be different in different location and hence the value will be dependent upon the qty ?
How can we extract this ? From which tables do we need to extract this ?
Can any one guide on this ?

go to menu bar
system-- list-- save -- local file
alternatively you can take it MBEW table also(se16n)
