Backend Invoice Number , posted through SRM

Hi All,
I am creating an invoice in SRM & I can see that invoice created successfully in ECC with some invoice number. I need that ECC Invoice Number in SRM again. Please tell me how to achieve this.
Regards.

Thanks for the reply Clemens.
I am creating invoice through XI. I am picking up a xml file, thru file adapter, & creating an invoice using a standard proxy. It is creating invoice succeesfully in backend but in the SRM web browser its status is approved. It should be 'posted in backend, with the invoice number in ECC populated in a field 'Number in <RFC DEST>. However, when I create it manually, it is giving me the ECC invoice number. Please let me know if anybody has worked on this scenario.

  • Invoice posting through SRM

    Dear Experts,
Currently we are implementing SRM 5.0 classic scenario and backend system is ECC 6.0.
We are posting invoice through SRM. Is there any possibilty when we post the invoice through SRM then instead of directly posting we should park the document.
Can you please let me know how to control this report?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I understand that we can activate the workflows if we post invoice by an employee.
We are implementing MM-SUS scenario and in this case vendor will post the invoice through SUS. I wan to control this invoice in mm instead of posting directly it should park the invoice.
Pleas let me know if anybody implements MM-SUS scenario with this scenario.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Configuring double invoice check for vendor invoices posted through FB60

    Dear all
Can anyone tell me how to configure double invoice check for vendor invoices posted through FB60.
for miro documents..we can use Tcode OMRDC
Is there any such tcode which can be used for configuring fi invoices for double checking..
    regards
    Expertia

    Dear Expertia,
In FI,when checking for duplicated invoices, the system compares the
following :Vendor, currency, company code, gross amount of the invoice,
reference document number and Invoice document date.
SAP Note 305201 clarifies this in a more details; please read it.
The following fields must be identical for Duplicate invoice check
         Company code                              (BUKRS)
         Vendor number                             (LIFNR)
         Currency                                  (WAERS)
         Reference number                          (XBLNR)
         Amount in document currency               (WRBTR)
         Document date                             (BLDAT)
If the document is having any one of the above filed different then the
system does not consider it as a duplicate invoice.
Also It will check duplicate invoice check in vendor master data and
in posting key is there check box selected for sales related
The setting you making in OMRDC i.e Materials management->Logistics
Invoice Verification->Incoming Invoice ->Set Check for Duplicate
Invoices is only valid for MM and not  FI invoices posted via FB60/FB65
You should check the F1 help on field "Chk double inv." (LFB1-REPRF)
in the relevant vendor master record (transaction FK03).
Please also check, that message F5 117 has been set correctly in the
    IMG using this path:
Financial Accounting -> Financial Accounting Global Settings ->
Document -> Default Values for Document Processing -> Change Message
Control for Document Control For Document Processing
Finally & mainly, go to the relevant posting key is defined as sales
related in transaction OB41. You have to flag this field if the
    duplicate invoice check should work.
    I hope this helps You.

  • Mapping of invoice document type in SRM and Backend

    hi,
I need to map invoice document type in SRM and backend. We are in SRM5.0.
e.g. when we create no PO invoice , we need to select document type from drop down  and that document type should be replicated to backend invoice document type.
    1. There is no list in drop down of invoice document type ( RE/RN)
    2. How it will be replicated to back end document type when enter document type instead of selection?
If anyone came across this, pls let me know.

  • Post incoming payments based on Invoice number.

    Hello,
I would appreciate your help on the following question. POINTS AVAILABLE. <b>Is there a way for us to post an incoming partial payment from a customer based only on the invoice number?</b>
For example, a customer has several open invoices and want to make a partial payment on 1 of the invoices. <b>I know we can do it using F-28 (Partial Payments tab), however, is there any other way to post a payment to a particular invoice without entering a customer number?</b> Using F-28 brings up all the invoices and pmts for the customer.
    Thanks in advance!

<b>This is the documentation about the program:</b>
    <b>F.13</b>
This program clears open items from customer, vendor and G/L accounts (in particular, GR/IR clearing accounts) automatically.
It selects all accounts specified in the value sets that have debit and credit postings.
The following items are not cleared:
    Noted items
Statistical postings and special G/L transactions of the type bill of exchange
    Items with withholding tax postings
Down payments can only be cleared if down payment clearing for the same amount has been posted
The remaining open items are grouped according to fixed system criteria:
    Company code
    Account type
    Account number
    Reconciliation account number
    Currency key
    BSID-WAERS for customers
    BSIK-WAERS for vendors
    BSIS-PSWSL for G/L accounts
    Special G/L indicator
The program also groups items according to a maximum of five user criteria. Note that the trading partner number and the business area are no longer fixed system criteria (in comparison to the former clearing programs SAPF123 and SAPF123W). Therefore, if you want to group by business area or trading partner number, you have to enter these as user criteria.
Clearing takes place when, for the group of line items selected according to the above criteria, the balance in document currency (for customers and vendors) or in update currency (for G/L accounts) is zero. The date for clearing is the clearing date according to your selection specifications. In an update run, if the clearing transaction is successful, the clearing document number is specified.
During the program run, all accounts in which clearing can be performed are blocked. They are then unblocked again after the clearing transaction. Accounts that are blocked by other transactions or that are intended for the automatic payment run are not considered in automatic clearing
    <b>OB74</b>
    Prepare Automatic Clearing
In this activity you enter the criteria for grouping an account's open items for automatic clearing. The clearing program clears the open items that are grouped together if their total balance equals zero in local and foreign currency.
You must enter the following standard criteria:
    account type
account number or a number interval
You can also enter a further five criteria.
You select these five additional criteria from the fields in table
BSEG or BKPF. If possible, you should choose fields that are also
contained in table BSIS (G/L accounts), BSID (customers), or BSIK
(vendors). You can determine the field names by displaying the tables
in the Data Dictionary, which you reach by choosing
Tools -> ABAP Workbench and then Dictionary.

  • MIRO: two invoices were posted with same Reference Number?

    Hi all!
Using the MIRO user posted two invoices with the same Reference number without any warning.
    Is it normal?
Invoices looks exactly identical, the only difference is "Specl G/L assgt" which one of them has and another doesn't.
    Regards.

    Hi Harish,
    I checked:
    1) "Duplicate invoice number" : SPRO/Materials Management/Logistics Invoice Verification/Incoming Invoice/Set Check for Duplicate Invoices - set up for Company Code correctly
    2) "Duplicate invoice number" setup for Vendor (FK03) (tick is set up)
    3) OBMSG M8 108 set up as IE (not 100% sure it's exactly the same message I'm looking for)
    Seems everything is fine.
But I posted 2 invoices in MIRO with the same reference - no warning or error.
    Any advices?

  • Backend PO number does not update SRM follow-on doc section

    Hi Guys,
We are on SRM5.0 and ECC6.0 with Classic scenario.
We are developing a logic in BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW (method FILL_PO_INTERFACE1) to determine if a Goods Receipt is required for some business conditions. Below is the logic.
1.If GR is required then create a PO with External number range in backend. This is working fine.
2.If GR is not required then create a PO with internal number range in backend. PO_NUMBER field will be cleared in the BADI so that backend system creates a PO with internal number range. This is working fine.
But the problem in the point 2 above is, internal PO# is not reflecting in the follow-on doc section in SRM. I noticed that SRM allots a PO# in table BBP_PDBEI with backend external number range before it transfers the data to backend. We tried to delete the PO# in BBP_PDBEI-BE_OBJECT_ID in the same BADI so that backend system can updates this field BE_OBJECT_ID in SRM with internal number PO. We did not succeed in doing this. The SC status shows Approved but do not show the PO#.
Can any one tell me how to populate the backend internal number PO in the Follow-on doc? Is this the right way of doing or is there any better way?  Did any one developed such logic?
Please share your thoughts and experience.
    Thanks in advance..
    Jagdish

I noticed that SAP takes the number sequence from number range PO and updates BBP_PDBEI field before sending the Purchase order to ECC. If the different number range is defined in IMG "Define num range per Backend system for Follow-on docs" then system takes that num range. Then BBP_GET_STATUS_2 checks the PO# and updates SRM if the PO# matches otherwise it wont update.
But in our case we defined num range 44 for POs with Goods receipt and would like to assign another number range 22 for POs with NO GR. We can assign different PO doc type (ZEC) for NO GR by using BADI BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW. But how to assign num range 22 for ZEC dynamically in BADI. System is trying to take num range 44 by default.
Is there any way we can assign different number range in SRM BADI?
    Thanks,
    Jagadish

  • Invoice posting in SRM 5.5 version i.e in Classic scenario.

    Hi Gurus,
This is classic scenario and version 5.0 .
I have done the invoice and see the status as completed in SRM and it was not updated in the SHC history and neither I can see the follow on document in the R/3
I guess Invoice gets posted thru Idoc and do SRM have any kind of job to update the shopping cart history also.
similar to CLEAN_ REQREQ_UP for PO?
    Regards
    Srujan K

    Hi Srujan,
You should MANUALLY run update reports CLEAN_REQREQ_UP and BBP_GET_STATUS_2.
Sometimes the background jobs doesn't pick up some documents, I don't know why this is.
You should do this every so often which should clear a lot more items from table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB.
    Hope this helps.
    Kind Regards,
    Matthew

  • Posting invoice with attachments in SRM

    Hello All,
We have a requirement in SRM to create a module pool program which will post an invoice (like standard invoice without PO reference). Once the invoice is posted, a custom worklfow is triggered to determine the approver for this invoice. After determining the approver, an e-mail will be sent to him along with the details of the invoice for approval.
We need to attach some documents while posting the invoice and the same need to be sent along with the e-mail as attachments. Currently we are using the standard FM's 'BBP_PD_INV_CREATE', 'BBP_PD_INV_UPDATE' and 'BBP_PD_INV_SAVE' to post the invoice with attachments.
Can you please suggest whether this is the correct way to post the invoice and if so how to retrieve these attachments from the invoice and attach it to our e-mail?
    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Vishnu

why not use offline approval functionality which has option for sending ataachment
