Backflushing restrictions

Dear All,
I'm using backflushing. However, in CO11n I'm doing "Goods Movement", the planned quantity for material X is 1000 KG if I want to issue 1500 KG it will stop me and say material failed because it exceeds reservation quantity. How can I avoid that?
Also in COOIS I'm displaying the "components" list which should show me the required quantity for each order component and the actual issued quantity. It only displayes the PLANNED issued quantity and doesn't show the UNPLANNED issued (which I can see from the Documented Goods Movement), I find that very weird.
Any suggestions?

Dear Rafik,
one way of avoiding this is using authorization control for not allowing to click on good's movements
icon or dont give the authorization for changes.
I hope you are issuing the materials against the order using MB1A for the extra consumption.
In this case you will not get the issued components against the reserved one in COOIS,check the report
MCRE.
Check and revert back.

  • Restrict the quantities during backflush in REM.

    Hi ,
During MFBF , we can do the GR for a product without entering the planned order, for any quantity.
Can we restrict the qty of GR during MFBF, so that any large number is not entered.
I tried to control it with Lot size in the production version and rate routing .
But it still allows to enter any large qty.

  • How to restrict the GR for Production Order when Goods Issue is not done

    Hi Gurus
How to restrict the GR for Production Order when all the required components for production order are not issued with all required quantity. Even for partial issue system should not allow GR with 101. The user status with RMWA, RMWF & CGFB is not working.
    Pls suggest best solution.
    Abhijit.

    Hi,
You can club together the GI nad GR at the time of confirmation..
I.e Backflush for the components and auto GR for the Product.
So that you can stream line the Process.
The best Option would be to use the User Exit:
    Enhancement - MBCF0002
    Functional Module - EXIT_SAPMM07M_001
    Include - ZXMBCU02

  • Material batch in restricted use status, still get selected & consumed.

In Process Industry : Batch 'XYZ' has moved to Restricted Use status after the Batch Job run on daily basis for Deadline Monitoring of Batches on 24th Jan 07.
But on the next day i.e. 25th Jan 07 during the confirmation of one of the Process Order's, it got consumed through Goods issue posting via Backflushing. This was evident in Material Document as well.
    My Question is
Is there anywhere in Configuration setting which controls whether the Restricted Use stock can be consume (withdrawal Posting) in Process Order Confirmation……

    Hi pravin
Change the sattus of the message no. M7665 - Batch & has the status <restricted-use> to Error in transaction OMCQ.
An error message will get generated and the back flush will be carried out if you check the termination of incorrect goods movement in transaction OPK4.

    Dear Tejas,
    Check this link
[Deleting components in MFBF|Deleting BOM components, while backflushing in REM]
Apart from this you can go for a screen variant,as per to my knowledge i dont think you can restrict

  • Make to Order Repetitve Manufacturing Restrictions

    Dear All,
Does anybody know that the reasons behind the restrictions of Make to Order Repetitive Mfg in SAP?
    Restrictions like :
1- Impossibility of reporting point backflushing despite of MTS Rep Mfg
2- Impossibility of component/activity backflushing despite of MTS Rep Mfg
I am working as a PP consultant in a SAP implementation project for a car manufacturer and we choose the MTO Rep Mfg as our manufacturing scenario, but we need to track the production.
Is there any suggestion for handling these restrictions in MTO Rep Mfg?
    Your support is greatly appreciated
    Thanks in advance
    Rouhollah

    Hi Rajesha,
    Thank you for your reply,
The car manufacturer, that we are implementing SAP for it, produces the vehicles with make to order strategy,
and according to the nature of its production, we decide to use MTO repetitive manufacturing and configurable material for their sap architecture, but there are some limitation in MTO Rep Mfg.
    For example:
It is needed to track the vehicle from start to end of production, and the standard way of satisfying this requirement is using of reporting point backflushing, but this feature is not supported in MTO Rep Mfg despite of MTS Rep Mfg (that supports the reporting point backflushing). How we can handle this requirement without using the reporting point? and I'd like to know the reason behind this limitation.
Do you have any idea about this problem?
    Thanks,
    Rouhollah

  • Component should not be made available for backflush during final Backflush

    Hi,
In REM Scenario, during final backflush system explodes and proposes all components in the header material for GI backflush. Is there any way we can restrict certain materials not to appear for GI backflush and that can be posted at later time.
your thought and suggestion is well appreciated.
    regards,
    ppcon

    Hi,
Suppose componenet stock is less at the time of backflush. Now you can do backflush, after that you can clear the error (goods mvt) in COGI.
    OR
You can do GI later for all components after doing backflush. The setting is available in REM profile. But for certain material not possible.

  • Add restriction in CO11N for storage location without doing goods movement

    Hi experts,
my requirement was to restrict user for some storage location in CO11N, though i completed it using badi "WORKORDER-GOODSMVT" there is some issue.

  • Restrict components in confirmation view

    Dear Experts ,

    SFC

    Hi,
There are two ways to control back flush during production order confirmation.
In the customization, order type confirmation control parameters (T.code: OPK4) you can select the indicator All components. Meaning it will back flush all the compoents in the order during confirmation. If you unselect this indicator it will issue only back flushed components (compoents selected for backflush indicator in the order).
coming to your second question, once you select the back flush indicator and did partial issue of the components, it does not allow to remove the back flush indicator in the order. You have to cancel the confirmation and unselect the indicator.
    Hope this explains your query
    Thanks,

  • GR restrict before Confirmation & Confirmation restrict before GI

    Dear All PP Experts,
My client wants to Restrict GR(101) before the Confirmation of Production Orders.
For that I am doing following settings stepwise,
    1. Using T-Code BS02 (Customizing User status profile) Create Status Profile u201CGRCNFu201D.
    2. In the User status table following settings are done:
        A) In the status no field type"1" , status field "NGR", short text "GR not allowed", lowest no "1",        Highest No "2". Mark a tick in the initial stats check box.
        B) Next line, type status no field "2" ,status field "AGR", short text "GR allowed", lowest no "2" , highest no "2".
    3) Select the u201CNGRu201D line and choose u201CDetailsu201D. Select the "Create" button & select the "GR for prod order", mark "Forbiddenu201D radio button and "setu201D radio button.
    4) Select the u201CAGRu201D line and choose u201CDetailsu201D. Select the "Create" button & select "Confirm Order", mark "Allowed" radio button and "Setu201D radio button. Next choose "GR for prod orderu201D, mark u201CAllowedu201D radio button.
    5) Save.
    6)  After that go I into Production Order Type where I want to restrict for GR before Confirmation of Production Order and select the Status Profile u201CGRCNFu201D in the field of u201CStatus Profile Headeru201D and that Production Order Type. This is all the setting that I done for the scenario but after all this system gives same message u201CCurrent order status 4000026 does not allow goods receipt (Message no. C6009)u201D at the time of GR with and without CONFIRMATIONS.
Please tell me why this is happen? What are quarries in my customizing and exact solution for this issue?  And also suggest what are settings to u201CRESTRICT CONFIRMATION BEFORE GI (261)u201D?  Waiting for your valuable reply.
    With regards.
    PRASHANT PATIL

    Dear,
    Please follow these steps,
    1. Use Tcode BS02 ( Customising USer status profile).
    2. Select the order type which you want to configure (eg:PP000001) and choose "Details" button.
    3. In the User status table do the following:
    a. In the status no field type"1" , status field "Sta1", short text"GR not allowed",  lowest no "1",  Highest No "2". Mark a tick in the initial stats check box.
b.Next line, type status no field "2" ,status field "sta2", short text"Gr allowed", lowest no "2" , highest no "2".
    4. Select the STA1 line and choose details. select the "create"button.select the "GR for prod order", mark "forbidden
radio button" and "set radio button".
    5. Select the STA2 line and choose details. Selct the "create"button. select "confirm order", mark "permitted radio button" and "set radio button". Next choose "GR for prod order" , mark "permitted radio button".
    6.Save.
Create a prod order and check whether the required scenario is working.
    Or,
It will not restrict the GR with MIGO/MB31.
The best possible solution would be to go with User Exit.
    Enhancement - MBCF0002
    Functional Module - EXIT_SAPMM07M_001
    Include - ZXMBCU02
Try with the help of your ABAPer.
For GI you can use backflush oprtion as auto good issue.

  • Component quantity control in PP-REM backflush

    Hi all,
We are fancing the following scenario: a FERT material X is "produced" just packing toegheter 4 units of other FERTs materials X1..X4, without restriction of quantities from each material Xn in the pack. That means a unit of X can be made from 1 unit X1, 1 unit X2, 1 unit X3 and unit X4; and another unit of X can be made of 3 units X2 and 1 unit X4. The only restriction is a unit of X must contain 4 units of Xn.
Is there a way to control this packing scenario through REM backflush? I've created BoM, routings and production version for material X, but i can't find where to control components quantities as descrived.
Thanks in advance for ideas o guidelines in this issue...
    mr.

    Dear Manuel,
1.I'm not sure how this can be addressed through packing materials, but assume you have created 2 different BOM one
containing 1x1,1x2,1x3,1x4 and the other one containing 3x2 and 1x4.
2.Create 2 different production versions one assigned with alternative BOM 01 and the second production version containing
    second alternative BOM 02.
3.Create REM profile allowing to backflush using preleminary cost estimate using T code OSP2 and error correction mandatory.
4.Create 2 different product cost collectors for each production version.
5.While backflushing the system picks the BOm components as per the production version and allow to confirm the product.
    Check and revert

  • How to exclude restricted-use batch from batch-determination in backflushin

    Hello,
In the Goods-Movement screen during confirmation transaction (i.e. backflushing), we see that SAP has selected some batches that are restricted-use stock.  This must be due to some setting in batch-determination functionality.  We want to know how to exclude restricted-use stocks from being considered in batch-determination.  What setting, in which config transaction, can help us achieve this ?  Kindly help.  Thanks.
    - Chetan

    Thanks Manoj,
That was a very good information and I learnt something new.
However, I checked, and in that config, we are already "not-allowing" restricted-use stock for MvT-261.  So what else can be used to prohibit its selection during backflushing.  Thanks.
