Bad content : iTunes support asks me to contact the producer

I really cannot believe I had this answer from iTunes support:
- I reported bad captions on Season 5, Episode 9 of "The Wire" https://itunes.apple.com/us/tv-season/season-5-episode-9-late-editions/id9040663 21?i=949655561
(they are the captions of episode 10 and for that reason, iTunes report 91 minutes as the length for episode 9, although the episode actually lasts 60 minutes)
- after 2 exchanges with iTunes store support, I was told to "contact the producer of the said film as they are the best source of information about the issue you are experiencing".
(and of course iTunes support did not provide a contact info for the producer!)
I mainly did that so that future viewers get the correct captions.
I find iTunes support's answer totally incredible. Especially for an item I paid $74.99 (thai is for the complete remastered series in widescreen HD)
Anyone else shares my view or had the an equivalent experience with iTunes?

Hi Nancy.
I do not agree.
When I have an issue with something I bought in a store, I go back to the store.
And in case of a refund, the store refunds me.
I expect good quality items from iTunes store and am happy to pay for that.
I also expect iTunes/apple to handle the relationship with content owners, because I have no direct relationship with them.
And in case of a refund, I expect to receive it from Apple, after contacting Apple, and not the contact owner.
Apple cannot edit the content on iTunes store, but they can -and should- very well make sure that the content producers do in case of quality issues such as the one I reported.
The least iTunes/Apple could do is forward requests to the producers.
I just had another mail from iTunes support and should get another answer within 48 hours.
