Hi,
I am looking for a Badi that trigger when opportunity created from lead. I looked from Order_Save but i am unable to find the preceeding lead number for the opportunity as the link will be created after the opportunities saved.

Hi Naveen,
You have to do it in Copy control customizing..
SPRO->CRM->Transactions->Basic Settings->Copying Control for Business Transactions->Define Copying Control for Transaction Types..
here you specify you Source transaction as LEAD and Target transaction as OPPURTUNITY and give some arbitarory filter value.
Then use this filter value in CRM_COPY_BADI implementation.

How do I get rid of the volume noise that plays when I switch from internal speakers to external speakers? I'm trying to watch something on my TV through an HDMi cable (& apple adapter) and when I go to switch the sound control in preferences from internal speakers to SONY TV, the annoying "popping" noise occurs on my TV's speakers.

Go to Edit > Preferences > General > Import Settings and check the box for error correction, and then try one of the problem CDs again.

The screen that says "Download Now" also shows the proposed iTunes version number (in the box below):
Be sure it indicates 11.1.3.

These steps should enable you to find any BADI related to any transaction in a matter of minutes.
1) Go to the transaction SE37 to find your function module.
2) Locate the function SXV_GET_CLIF_BY_NAME.
3) Put a breakpoint there.
4) Now open a new session.
5) Go to your transaction.
6) At that time, it will stop this function.
7) Double click on the function field EXIT_NAME.
8) That will give you name of the BADI that is provided in your transaction.

Error when workflow created from Function Module

Hi All,
I am trying to implement leave module workflow for one of my requirement.
when i create a leave from PTARQ transaction workflow it is being triggered, but when i tried to do the same from a custom function Module using the same FMs used in PTARQ, workflow initiated but stopped at initial stage( at switch branch )
i went to SWI1 transaction and executed it manually, it end up with error saying ' Error when starting a SWITCH branch'
what should i do to move it forward.

Hi Kishore,
For leave workflow, SAP has the separate frame work. They called the FM SAP_WAPI_START_WORKFLOW and pass all necessary data's to Process the leave workflow.
Its not advisable to overwrite the standard behavior. Please check your 'REQ' workflow container in the log. There will be a no data or Some data's might be Missed.
Before Call the FM, make sure that all data's are passed to the Table parameter, SImple_Container.
The reason for the Error in your workflow is, there is no data stored in REQ.STATUS container.
please check the Workflow log.

Cropping lost when still created from a smoothcam'd clip

Just to report that when creating a still (shift-N) on an image into a smoothcam'd clip, the cropping is lost; it's as if the still was created from the default clip (ie, not smoothcam). As a matter of interest, doing the still from a stabilized clip using Lock&Load X, works as you would expect.

Also. You can export File > Export > Using Quicktime Conversion > Still Image. Then import the still image, to make a freeze frame with the cropping. (yes, I know, it is a workaround...)

Dashed Table borders do not render correctly when PDF created from MS word 2013

I have a defined format for many documents which have all been created in MS word 2007. Never any problem creating PDFs of these using ADOBE XI Pro.
Updated to MS 2013 and now when converting the same doc to PDF all dashed borders around tables render as solid lines. The only time they render correctly is if I PRINT to PDF. Printing to PDF is not an option as I create batches of many documents at one time, so would be to time consuming. This was an issue when i considered upgrading 2007 to 2010 a couple of years ago, so caused me to delay upgrade.. upgrade is now required.
I have a sample of a document if required.

Just as a test, have you tried the MS plugin for PDF creation? I have found with other versions of WORD and Acrobat that PDF Maker and the MS plugin can both fill in dots and dashes on vector graphics (basically what the border is) and yet it comes out correctly with printing to the Adobe PDF printer. Unfortunately I do not have a solution. In my case, it seemed to be related to the vector graphic itself (I could import it to InkScape or other vector graphic tool and save to EMF and it then worked fine. It may be something that MS themselves have messed up in OFFICE 2013. Good luck.

Error in Planned GI Date when delivery created from APO TP/VS

Hi All,
The problem being faced here is that the Planned GI date & Planned pick up date in delivery is changing to the date on which the shipment ends, when generated through 'OLTP Generation of Deliveries'.
I will explain the problem more in details
I created the Sales order for a customer today i.e. on 21/11/07. The system calculated the MAD & RDD correctly in Sales Order. Shipment formed against this Sales order in TP/VS. TP/VS suggested correct shipment activities such as Goods Issue, Loading & Shipment end considering transit Time of 24 Hrs. I then
generated deliveries through 'OLTP Generation of Deliveries' & delivery also got created successfully in R/3. However the Planned GI date in the delivery is shifted by one day & falling on next day i.e. on 22/11/07 (the date on which the shipment is completing). Also the material availability date also gets shifted accordingly.
This is not matching with TP/VS results where the Goods Issue as per TP/VS is 21/11/07. Hence the Planned GI date in delivery should be 21/11/07 & not 22/11/07.
I have checked the Time Zone consistency in APO & R/3 & both match with each other.
For your information the system used are SCM 4.1 SP10 & ECC 5.0
Can any one suggest how to resolve this issue ?

First tab not getting "TabPanelTabSelected" class when tabs created from dataset

created with a spry repeat region. works great, except none of the
tabs get the "TabPanelTabSelected" class on initial load. I tried
setting the defaultPanel in the constructor, but to no avail.

Thanks a lot Kin. I now have it working, mostly. I changed
the contentgroup div so that it repeated over the RequestCounts to
create the table. However, when I did that, obviously it drew the
table each time through the loop. So I changed the table's spry:if
to also look at the current status names for equality. only then
does it actually draw the table for the status that's been clicked.
the final version appears below.
Now, I do have two problems though.
1) I can no longer use the spry:loading state. If I have
this: <div spry:state="loading">loading...</div> right
under the "TabbedPanelscontentGroup" div, I get an error that
tpIndex is not defined. So...do you know how i can get this
functionality back?
2) One thing I needed to implement was "persistent" tab on
data refresh. I added a loadInterval on the RequestCounts dataset,
and thus everytime that interval was up the tab went back to the
first one. So in the updateRequests() function, i set a variable
named 'selectedTab' to the clicked rowid. Then, in the
tabObserver.onPostUPdate function, i have the dsRequestCounts
current row being set to that variable.
The only problem with this is that the "requests" dataset
then gets loaded twice when the interval causes the data to reload:
once for the first row, and then once for my 'persisted' row. This
makes sense, but i just don't know how to fix it. i'm pasting the
code into this post...maybe someone can see some way to get around
this?
Basically, the behavior I want is this:
a) on initial page load, load the requestCounts dataset and
use the first row of that dataset to load the requests dataset
(this works)
b) when a user clicks a tab, load the requests dataset with
the rowid of the clicked tab (this works)
c) when the loadInterval causes the RequestCounts dataset to
be refreshed, use the 'selectedTab' variable as the CurrentRow of
the RequestCounts data such that the Requests dataset is loaded
with the correct row and the selected tab is correct
So the only rpoblem i have is with c, and the only problem
there is that essentially what happens is the requests dataset is
loaded twice.
Thanks to any and all for advice getting the "loading" state
working and the refresh behavior correct!

Subscription that triggers when you create a new production ?

I'd like to trigger a python script each time I create a new production in FCS.
How can I do it ?

Create a Script Response that will fire off your python script.
Create a Subscription that will monitor the metadata fields of a Production for example the "Status".
The idea here is that creating a new production with the Status = New will trigger your python script.

Partner Determ. Proc. in Leadoverruled when created from Mkt Campaign

Hello guru's
I have created a Partner Determination Procedure for the partner "employee responsible" in a Lead (=transaction type).
But when I create a Lead from a Marketing Campaign this Partner Determination Procedure is overruled and the person who created the Marketing Campaign becomes the determined partner for the "employee responsible".
Does anyone know why my Determination procedure is getting overruled? I'm not using an Access Sequence with 'Preceding document' or current user or someting.
Please help me!

Just Go to path:
IMG: Customer Relationship Management-> Basic Functions->Partner Processing -> Determine Partner Determination Procedure
Here select your partner determination procedure, and their itself you will a column for Log. Select the checkbox.
This setting will activate log for partner determination. In the partner tab of the lead transaction, below you will be able to see an icon for log, select that, and you can see the complete analysis how the determination of partner were carried out.

Anyone using 4.0 Beta 5 on MAC and noticing Adobe Flash creating boxes when moving away from site where flash is used?

Just upgraded to FF 4.0 beta 5 - noticing that when I visit a new page that uses Flash, I navigate away or to other sites and the box that Flash used is blanked out and super-imposes itself over the page. That means when I move from the flash page, the only thing I can do it close the browser and reopen.
Yes, I am using 10.1 (or whatever the latest flash is for my MAC - that also has all its updates). Reverted back to FF 4.0 beta 4 and NO PROBLEM using the older beta version. HELP.

That sounds like a known problem on OS X. From the known issues section of the [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/4.0b5/releasenotes/ Firefox 4 Beta 5 Release Notes]
"Plugin content can be rendered incorrectly leaving blank white squares over web content. Scrolling or switching tabs will often fix the problem, although sometimes you must close the tab which contains that plugin content (see [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=592453 bug 592453])"
This should be fixed in the next beta.

STO's created from TLB

Hello Experts:
When I create STO's, I don't see any source of default values, like Delivery Tolerance, Confirmation control key, etc, that for a PO usually come from the Vendor or The Info Record.
We have managed to add these values via BADI, but for STo's created from APO via Transportation load Builder, this Badi is no taking effect. (The Badi I used is and works fine when doing it online, in ME21N or via a BAPI.
Do you have any experience on where (user exit, etc) to add logic for putting these default values in the STO's created by TLB.

I am having issues when transfering STO's with order type UB (stock transfer) and item category U (stock transfer).
When they come into APO it becomes an order type AG purchase req, which look just like orders with type NB in R/3. So both STO's and purchase orders show up as the same order type and in the same key figure in the planning book.
Shouldn't the UB orders with item category U show up in APO as category BC or BD for stock transfers? Any guidance would be appreciated.
