BALANCE SHEET WITH UNASSIGNED NODES

First of all hello everybody,
In spite of being involved with balance sheet and P&L query I´m facing a problem never had before. We´re using the virtual infocube 0FIGL_V10 and its own query provided by Business Content.
Up to yesterday everything worked fine and showed up balance sheet and its nodes properly according to report in ECC. FI consultants decided to make changes in Balance Structure and turned on both credit and debit indicators in a couple of nodes. From then on relationed accounts did not appear within balance sheet but below unassigned nodes, obviously it should work properly once updated data by means of signs and so on. I removed content and reload 0GLACCEXT (its hierarchy), 0GL_ACCOUNT and infocube 0FIGL_C10 and kept failing.
Even i checked if function module supported by 0FIGL_V10 was modified and not at all.
Does anyone know what´s wrong? Is a problem of ECC customizing (don´t think so but...)? Am i missing any step?
Any suggestion would be appreciated...
Thanks in advace.

Thanks for your replies!
Simon you were right. By checking up 0BAL_DEPEND I found out that someone had disabled certain mapped fields in transfer rules...one of them was PLUMI -> 0BAL_DEPEND.
I found an article about an balance sheet sample with this field but i didn´t pay attention to.
I shall activate transfer rules and so on from BC again and hope solving it.
Thanks again.

  • Generation of balance sheet with closing exchange rate

    Hi all
We have been using INR as the local currency and USD as the functional currency
all the reports are generated in INR and USD.
And  as of now monthly average rate is been entered in the exchange rate table master.
But for audit purpose we need to generate balance sheet with the closing rate. how can we do the same in sap business one
    Regards
    Farheen

    Hi,
Just use "Conversion Differences" function in Financials Module, this will convert INR into USD by posting adjustment JE.
This function is relevant for companies whose defined system currency is different from the local currency. SAP Business One recommends making journal entries automatically for differences in system currency. Use the Conversion Differences function to make adjustments between the account/business partner balance in the system currency and the balance in the local currency.
    Hope this helps,

  • Balance Sheet with BPS and hierarchie

    hello,
We have to create a Balance sheet in which users can manually insert data.
We have created a hierarchy and then a manual planning in BPS and all is ok, but we want to allow users to fill only the "leaf" element of the hierarchy and not the internal node...
    how can we proceed?
A second question: "top-down" and "bottom-up" in "totaling logic" are not useful for us (it creates confusion in users...)... can we deactivate/bypass it?
    Thanks a lot

  • Moving Net Income to Balance Sheet with Business Rule

    Hello,
The system is BPC 7.0 SP3, on SQL 2008
I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue.  I created a business rule that moves Net Income Year to Date to the Balance Sheet, and call it through logic.
The problem I am having is that all periods are calculating correctly except for Period 12.  The same number that is calculate for Period 11 is posted to Period 12.
The Time Dimension looks correct with it's prior and current and next properties.
Here is the Business Rule setup, all entries you do not see are NULL
Transformation Group        Source         Source DataSRC     Destination Account   Destination DataSRC
    CEYTD                                NetIncome     TOTALADJ             29210                          Input
    Reverse Sign                      YTD        Remark
    False                                    True        CEYTD
Here is the logic I use to call the stored procedure.
    *RUN_STORED_PROCEDURE=SPRUNCALCACCOUNT([%App%], [Actual], [USD], [%SCOPETABLE%], [%LOGTABLE%], [CEYTD], [99])
    *COMMIT
    *RUN_STORED_PROCEDURE=SPRUNCALCACCOUNT([%App%], [Actual], [LC], [%SCOPETABLE%], [%LOGTABLE%], [CEYTD], [99])
    *COMMIT
If anyone has experienced this issue before, I would really appreciate some help on how to resolve it.
    Thank you,
    Mark Glowczewski

    Hi
why not try the script logic in doing this it will be much more flexible

  • Balance sheet with alternative reporting period

    Hi everybody,
I need to know if there is a report that allows to extract P&L data for an alternative period (eg. 07-2008 to 062009) for companies that have as financial posting period the annual standard from period 1 to period 16.
The report must allow me to exclude year-end closing postings.
    Thanks.

  • Balance Sheet Report in SAP BW/BI

    Hi,
I have been requested to create a Balance sheet report on FIGL Cube and I need your help as I don't have much functional knowledge in FI.
I need your help to understand which GL accounts should we include in the balance sheet. I can see a hierarchy built on 0GL_account for balance sheet  but I have been told that I canot use the hierarchy as it is as we may need to include or exclude some GL accounts.
I am confused as I dont know what need to be included or excluded. Will there be any list maintained in R/3 where they will have the list of GL accounts need to be used for balance sheet.
I also need your help in reconciling the balance sheet with R/3. what is the approach to reconcile the whole balance sheet with R/3 and BW.
    Please provide your valuable information.
    Regards,
    Raghav

    HI,
balance sheet is always combination of GL accounts. but you need the functional help for which GL accounts you can use in balcance sheet line items. ex: input material cost, utility cost these all are combination of GL accounts so functional guy will give you the list of GL accounts.
easy way is creating the heirarchy, since you have the heirarchy copy it and do the changes as per your requirement finaly in your report you just have the heirarchy and key figures are credit and debit etc
roconsilation alway with the combination of GL accounts. (take some GLA ccounts month wise or fiscal period wise and check in R3 and your BI data target)

    Chandra.

  • Financial Statement / Balance sheet in Periodic Display

    Hi
I feel it is better to do using Report Painter or Report writer provided you have knowledge on them
see the links on them and do accordingly
Report Writer functions can be accessed from within the Report Painter.
The difference lies in the GUI of the report painter.

  • Balance Sheet *without* the Foreign Currency Valuation

    Hi FI experts,
We have an issue and need help from the community.
Our customer wants to have a Balance Sheet without the Foreign Currency Valuation, besides the normal balance sheet with FC valuation.
Does anyone in the group have already faced an issue like this?
Is there any possibility to generate the balance sheet without FC valuation even after run F.05?
    Thanks in advance.
    James Francisco
    SAP FI/PS Consultant.

    Hi,
You certainly can do this by creating a financial statement version that does not contain the revaluation balance sheet adjustment accounts and the gain/loss accounts.  If you have accounts that are getting revaluated against itself and not a seperate adjustment account, then you can not.  For accounts that are not open item, they will revalue against themselves so you need to check on that.
    Thanks,
    Jes

  • Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss

    Dear experts,
I've posted a thread just like this but I've closed it, because the info needed changed. Now I open this one so it will be easier to follow.
I need to extract data from tables BKPF and BSEG. So I thought in extractor 0FI_GL_4. This means I need an ODS so I can use delta extraction. Rasim suggested ODS 0FIGL_O02. (Thanks for your quick answer)
Basically I need a few reports, Profit and loss, and Balance. This reports work with a structure that groups certain accounts to get the right value. How can I load this structure in BW? Or I need to create my own hierarchy?
Also, this reports in R3 are working with a special fiscal variant according to the client. What they need is to see this reports with fiscal variant K4. I thought to modify the update rules in BW so that the fiscal period gets filled according to the "Posting date in the document" (field BUDAT in R3).
Does anyone thinks this will work? Any other ideas?
    Best Regards,
    Rodrigo.

How can I know if there is a GL Account Hierarchy? - Ask ur functional guy - check 0GL_ACCOUNT_T011_HIER datasource in RSA3 if they have std hierarchies
Also I'd like know if with extractor 0FI_GL_4 I will be able to create a balance sheet with cumulated values and period values, and also create the profit and loss report. It will be enough with this extractor?  - if you are looking for cumulated balances - use 0FI_GL_6. check the link below for financial statements
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_bw33/helpdata/en/6e/ff703b3de59e4fe10000000a114084/frameset.htm
I want to fill fiscal period with posting document because in R3 the balance uses a fiscal variant different from k4, and they want to see it with k4. So I thought in filling the period with the posting document date.
The period is determined from posting date only - unless it is a special period - 13,14,15,16 - that has to be manually updated while creating a FI doc.So you can go ahead and map the posting period - to either fiscalyear/period or posting date. They both are one and the same.

  • PLD Balance Sheet - landscape with more than four columns possible?

I'm assuming this can't be done based on the zero responses... but perhaps someone new will know...
I have cleaned up the Periodic Balance Sheet by removing % differences and such, and am left with the account name and four columns (five columns total).  This works great for quarterly reviews... But I want to be able to see the entire year on one landscape page if I were to choose a monthly report.  Those columns do not magically add to the same page; rather, they appear on separate pages (so for a monthly balance report, you would see three pages).
How in the world can I make this work to not create new pages when there's plenty of white space left?
Thank you in advance for either the 'this is not possible' or 'do this' type responses.

    Hi Russell,
I don't think it's possible. There are some print layouts in the system which are a bit dodgy: have a look at the actual fields displaying the data: these are all simple text type fields but still they are the ones containing the data... These kind of layouts are made by SAP in a way we can't edit, if you try to for instance copy those text fields they will not display the same info anymore, just the original ones, or once you deleted them you can't reproduce them to work again.
So unfortunately this is something SAP made working this way and we can't change it. You can try maybe to recreate the same report in Crystal?

  • To view Balance Sheets of previous period from table GLT0 in ECC 6.0 with N

    How,
We are on ECC 6.0 , with New Ledger activated from FY:2009 .
Now, when we run the Transaction F.01 (Program: RFBILA00) it gives us the balance sheet figures picked
    from the Table FAGLFLEXA .
It does not show us the Balance sheet figures of Balance currently in the Classic GL table GLT0 .
ie: f.01 to show report from 0L as well as GLT0 . (ie from Leading Ledger as well as Classic Ledger)
Pl.suggest ow can we view B/S of entries in Classic GL table GLT0 for previous years.
    Regards,

The balances in both tables should be the same, right?  It is just that in FAGLFLEXA you may have some extra line items due to document splitting.

  • PLD, Balance sheet report exclude accounts with zero / no balances

In the standard B1 Balance Sheet report, how can I exclude accounts with no / zero balances ?
Using the checkbox 'account with balance of zero' seems to have no effect at all.
    Please advice

In Balance Sheet Print layout Desinger(PLD) Select Report Vertical Balance Sheet-Create a new template using
APA vertical Balance Sheet,Create a new formula field for ex.
    Field_073 != 0.00 and detick visible &
    Select Field_068 with system variable-264 & Link to Field_073.
It will eliminate zero values in Balance sheet print report.

  • Create cart with balance sheet account

Currently, our users create a shopping cart using a cost center or WBS element.  However, our Finance department would like the ability to use a balance sheet account (prepaid expense) instead.  Is this possible? If so, what would need to be done on the SRM side as well as the SAP side since we use the classic scenario.
    We are on SRM 4.0.
    Monique Stephens

The business requirement is to charge something to a balance sheet account, not cost center or WBS element.  Based on our current security, users are unable to use the balance sheet accounts with their cost centers.
I tried using a balance sheet account with a cost center in our Dev box and received the following error message:
    GL Account Cannot Be Used
Comparison of the field selection strings from the G/L account and the account assignment category K reveals that there is an incompatible combination of field selections for the field selection group 'Cost center'.
The G/L account field selection is stored in table T004F; that for the account assignment is stored in table T162K.
I'm not exactly sure how to correct for this message.
