Bank fee deduction

in F110 payment, vendor is responsible for bank fee charge, for example, vendor invoice is 1000 USD, we only pay to vendor 950 USD, if we setup bank fee deduction in FBZP, it looks like we pay the bank fee, but actually vendor is responsible for it, so any standard SAP configuration for vendor liable bank fee in auto  payment? thanks

Hi Siva,
Please maintain the config for bank charges in FBZP.
T-Code FBZP > Bank Determination > Choose your company code > Expenses/Charges > Give your currency and Charges amount.
I hope it helps else revert us with your queries.
Thanks & Regards,

  • Vendors Charged Bank Fee

    Hi Everyone,
We have employees set up as vendors and there is one company code that when we pay the vendor they are also are being hit with a bank fee.
There is supposed to be an area somewhere in the config that I should be able to check a box that will say we will take all the charges for the payment run so the vendor does not get charged.
If anyone knows where this config lives it would be much appreciated.
    Many Thanks to All!
    Gerardo

    Hello,
This very much depends on the country in which you're conducting business. Within the EU, as long as you're paying from an EU bank account to an EU bank account and provide IBAN and SWIFT, no additional fee should be incurred. In the US, we solved this by moving to paying our vendors through ACH. In international wires, there is usually a payment instruction to set the cost allocation as either "BEN" (Beneficiary), "SHA" (Shared), and "OUR" (Our cost). However, I have experience that US banks will still charge a fee to the recipient, even if the cost allocation instruction is set as "OUR". There, it often depends on the type of account a customer has with their bank.
    Hope this helps,
    Jacco

  • Bank charges deduction in APP

    Dear Friends,
In FBZP config  bank determination step we have a folder called "expenses/charges" wherein we create a charge indicator and give the amount limit and the charge amount.
Now while running BDC I can see the bank charges amount but its not getting deducted from the bank amount.
I have given the bank chrges automatic posting account too undet Tx OBXK(BSP).
Could anyone please let me know what I am missing here for the bank charges to get automatically deducted and from the bank line item amount and get posted.
Should I create any instruction key ?
    Thanks in advance,

  • TS1702 Now i purchaed yeaterday one year using in astrill program and the bank already deduct the amount from my bank account but there is nothing happened and the extened of using astrill bot working so now astrill support asking me for receipt of paymen

I want ti know the receipt of payment that i purchased one year astrill program using so kindly give me the receipt of payment to give that to astrill support because i have the problem with them because i already paid around 70$ in apple store for this astrill yesterday and  till now i didn't get anything

Purchased 2 years of service last year (desktop, not just for the iOS). Shortly after signing up and paying, my account was terminated stating there was no paymen. I was treated like a criminal, required to jump through a million hoops - then service as turned back on.
Few months later - service was terminated again, sighting I was spamming on the account. Nope, never spammed...and no bots or viruses spamming. Few days later they turned on the account.
Two week ago I contact support via chat. Representative was the most rude I've ever encountered, with insults to allogations. He terminated my account, stating 'there was a mistake' and I my account should not have been active. Now I'm being treated like a criminal and 2 weeks and nothing has been resolved. They appear to be unable to access the payment details to do the research.
For anyone considreing using Astrill services please keep the following in mind:
Service will be slow. You will find yourself having to constantly change servers.
Many websites (IE CraigsList) ban the Astrill IPs.
Many website force you through hoops... so extra captchas for instance for Google to search.
Support beyond the 'download latest version' and 'clear cache' is hard to get.
Expect the familiar off-shore support models we have grown to love and cherish over the years.
Keep your payment record at your fingertips because you never know when you'll be called upon to prove yourself over and over.
Though the VPN service is slow and clunky, it is the business practices and customer treatment that has me here writing to warn all of you to know what to expect before providing payment. I was 'ok' w/the service, it worked... but havea real problem w/how they treat everyone.

  • Deduct Bank Commission at the time of F-53 on Net amount

    Hi Experts,
My client who want the bank commission deduction at the time of vendor outgoing payment on the net values. the bank commission is fix of Rs. 0.07 Paise  Per Rs. 1000/-
    The scenario is as below:
Client who deduct the deduction at the time of  Invoice for e.g. can bhade, Sanstha anamat , Prakriya Kharch ,Vahtuk Bhade, Share anamat etc. this deduction are directly update the Accounting GL .
after that the client pay the vendor dues amount. in this they deduct some deduction through Account (FI) (E.g. Sanstha Audit fee, Shikshan fund, machine anamat) & After deducting the Accounting deduction  they calculate bank commission on the net amount (Invoice amount - FI deductions =  Net amount)
Dear Expert, Please help me to work out this problem. in sap at the time of invoice we deduct the deduction as per client required & get the vendor due amount properly.
but at the time of vendor outgoing payment i had done the FI side deduction manually but i can't get the bank commission on the net dues amount. client required automatic bank commission deduction on the net amount. Please suggest me to workout  the issue.

  • SEPA Payment - Bank Charges borne by Self OR Payer

We are doing a simple SEPA payment using Idocs.
As you know default PSD setting is now "SHA".
Does anyone know how payer can set the default charges to be borne by "OUR" i.e the company should bear charges rather than being shared between beneficiary and payer?
E.g when I make a vendor payment of $100, the bank automatically deducts $10 and pays the vendor $90.
Instead I want to pay the vendor $100 and I want the bank to charge me $10 directly.
Is there a way using F110, Idocs etc - note I dont want to inflate the invoice to $110 and pay the vendor $100 etc - I am looking for an automatic method in which SEPA is set to "OUR".

  • Electronic bank statement Germany

    Dear all,
I should configure electronic bank statement for a German customer that should change from one system to SAP. Their format on electronic bank statement is MT940 and in the file they have all transactions that appeared on their bank statement; incoming payments (both manual and by direct debit), outgoing payments (both manual and automatic paymens by file) and other costs as bank fee (total to about 5 cost accounts).
When looking at transaction FF_5 i have some questions:
    1. I guess in Germany, when having format MT940, I don´t need to convert the file in FEBC?
    2. In FF_5 - elect. bank statement format should be entered, which one should I use?:
G SWIFT MT940- Field 86: Structure Recgnized automatically
I SWIFT MT940 international format (field 86 unstructured)
    or
    S SWIFT MT940 with field 86 structured?
    3. What is the difference by statement file and line item file, should I have both? Today, in their current system, they only import one file from bank, so if I only have one file, which field to use?
    Thanks in advance!
    Best Regards L

    Hi,
The ?20, ?21, ... are in the record beginning with :86:.
    Here is an example:
    :86:835?00PAIEMENT?20FRE / 22548?31xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?32xxxxxxxx
In most cases, you have ?00 and ?20 but there are other possible codes like ?21, ?22, ?23, ?31, ?32, ...
Eventually, the ? may be replaced by another character but I think it is not frequent. In this case, the first character after the 3 digits following :86: is the character replacing the ?.
Look at your MT940 files and you will see the presence or absence of these ?00, ?20, ?21, ... codes in record :86:.
If there are present, it is structured; if not unstructured.

  • Configuration setting for bank reconciliation staement

    Hi
pl. provide the configuration setting required for BRS with TC
    Thanks
    shivaji

    Hi,
    Electronic Bank Statement
Global Settings for Electronic Bank Statement
You should carry out Customizing for the electronic bank statement as follows: In Customizing for Bank Accounting, choose Business Transactions  Payment Transactions  Electronic Bank Statement  Make Global Settings for Electronic Bank Statement.
    Create Account Symbols:
In this step, you create account symbols. You will need these symbols at a later stage to define the posting specifications. Before the posting rules are used, the individual account symbols are replaced by the account to which items are to be posted.
    Account Text
    AUSG-UEBERW-AUS Foreign out. transf.

    BAREINZAHLUNG Cash deposit
    GELDEINGANG Cash receipt
    SCHECKAUSGANG Outgoing cheques
    SCHECKEINGANG Incoming cheques

    TREASURYAUSGANG Treasury outg. trans
    TREASURYEINGANG Treasury inc. trans.
    ZINSAUFWAND Interest paid
    ZINSERTRAG Interest received
    Assign Accounts to Account Symbol:
In this step, you define how accounts are determined for a particular account symbol. To avoid you having to define a separate account symbol for each individual house bank account (each with a different G/L account and separate bank clearing accounts), the G/L Acct field can contain a masked output.
Act Symbol Acct Mod. Currency G/L Acct
    AUSG-UEBERW-AUS + + +++++++++3

    SCHECKVERRECHNUNG + + ++++++++17
    SONSTIGE + + ++++++++19
    SPESEN + + 479000
    Create Keys for Posting Rules:
In this step, you create the descriptions for the required posting rules. Each posting rule represents the business transaction on the bank statement in the SAP system, such as a cheque received, a credit memo, or debit memo.
    Posting Rule Text
001+ Cash inflow via interim account
002 + Cheque credit memo through bank
    003- Cashed Cheque

    014- Interest paid
    015+ Payment by credit card
    016- Vendor direct debit
    017+ Treasury receipts
    018- Treasury disbursements
    Define Posting Rules/Posting Specifications:
In this step, you create posting specifications for each posting rule. The posting specifications enable you to define how a particular business transaction (such as a credit memo) is to be posted.
Posting specifications comprise one or two posting records Debit  Credit. The first posting record is called posting area 1 and usually involves a G/L account posting (BANK ACCOUNT  CASH RECEIPT, for example). The second posting record, which is optional, is called posting area 2 (CASH RECEIPT  CUSTOMER, for example).
Depending on whether a posting transaction affects bank accounting only, or affects both bank accounting and subledger accounting, you define posting rules either for the first posting area only, or for both the first and second posting areas.

To enable the bank statement to find the item to be cleared in the vendor direct debit transaction, the bank details must be maintained in the vendor master record. The bank statement finds the vendor using the bank details and the item using the value (if unique).
For algorithm 012, the number interval of the document numbers must be entered in the import report. For algorithm 026, the number interval of the reference document numbers must be entered (SD number assignment = XBLNR in the FI document). For further information on searching for the reference document number, refer to SAP Note 0107592.
The UNALLOCATED transaction results in the bank statement being imported, even if the external transaction code has not been created in Customizing. The transaction is posted to the interim account +++++5 (bank subaccount, depending on bank). Take a look at this interim account after the bank statement has been imported and post the items to the correct accounts where necessary. To ensure that the transaction is contained in the system the next time the statement is imported, define the new external transaction code in Customizing and assign an appropriate posting rule.

Define Posting Keys and Posting Rules for Manual Bank Statement
The posting keys and rules have already been set up for the electronic bank statement. The posting keys and rules for the manual bank statement are the same as those used for the electronic bank statement.
    5.5.4 Cheque Management
    Create and Assign Business Transactions
In this step, you define transaction codes for cheque deposits and assign them to a posting rule. You have to specify these transaction codes in the Tran (Transaction) field on the initial screen for cheque deposits.

Define Posting Rules and Posting Keys for Cheque Deposit
Two posting rules have been created: Direct cheque deposit and Cheque deposit via interim account. These rules represent two ways of posting cheques in the system. If you only want to post the bank accounting item in the first step and then clear the open customer items, use the Cheque deposit via interim account transaction. This is of particular importance when you have a lot of cheques and you have to ensure that all the cheques in Bank Accounting are posted by 10:30 a.m., for example. Otherwise, you use the Direct cheque deposit transaction in which the customers are cleared immediately provided that clearing information is available.
    Procedure
    Create Account Symbols:
In this step, you create account symbols. You will need these symbols at a later stage to define the posting specifications. Before the posting rules are used, the individual account symbols are replaced by the account to which items are to be posted.

    Assign Accounts to Account Symbol:

    BANK + + ++++++++++ Bank account
    Create Keys for Posting Rules:
In this step, you define a posting rule for cheque deposits. The key determines the posting rules for general ledger and subledger accounting. The posting rule represents the typical business transactions involved in cheque deposits.
    Posting Rule Text
    CD01 Direct cheque deposit
CD02 Cheque deposit via interim account
    Define Posting Rules:
In this step, you define the posting rules for cheque deposits and prepare account determination. Depending on whether a posting transaction affects general ledger accounting only, or affects both general ledger and subledger accounting, you define posting rules either for one or two posting areas. You only need one posting area if you post items directly “Bank to incoming cheques” rather than using clearing accounts, for example.

  • Bank charges applied to outgoing payments

Has anyone come up with an easy process to account for bank chanrges on outgoing payments?
    The scenario is as follows:
AP Invoice is for foreign currency e.g. USD1000  NZD1400
Payment is made one month later, so there is an exchange rate difference, bank also charges a processing fee of NZD $20 for the transaction, so account is debited NZD1428, NZD 8 is exch rate diff, NZD20 is bank fees.
Exch diff can be handled easily, but a new journal is needed to handle the bank fees so they can be matched. Is there any easy way to do this in the outgoing payment?

    Hi Julie,
you might find SAP Note [1324641|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1324641] helpful.

  • Common practice for additional cost like banking fees on PO's

    Hi
Is it common practice to use the Freight functions for other cost like banking fee or other fees?
Can it be set up with different freight types that the user does not have to enter a value, instead he can just pick the type of freight and automatically gets the correct value?
I tried, but I it die not work ... its always 0 as proposed value.
    Thanks
    Franz

    Hi,
Since freight is an expense, you can use this functionality wherein expense is involved, there is no wrong in this. Unless you have to keep in mind that the expense occurred in the freight tab would include in the itemcost if you run the item valuation.
To make the value come automatically you have to customize a bit. My idea would be define a user defined table, enter all the values required in it and apply a formatted search in the amount field which pulls the data from the user defined table.
    Hope you understood.

Sanstha Audit fee, Shikshan fund, machine anamat) & After deducting the Accounting deduction they calculate bank commission on the net amount (Invoice amount - FI deductions = Net amount)
Dear Expert, Please help me to work out this problem. in sap at the time of invoice we deduct the deduction as per client required & get the vendor due amount properly.
but at the time of vendor outgoing payment i had done the FI side deduction manually but i can't get the bank commission on the net dues amount. client required automatic bank commission deduction on the net amount.
is there any BTE or BADi for Vendor outgoing payment?
Please help me to workout this issue.
    Warm regards,
    Dhananjay Rahane.

  • Sharing Apple TV with two iTunes Accounts

I have an iMac with an iTunes Account that is synced with an Apple TV. When I purchase movies on the Apple TV it bills my iTunes Account.
My Wife also has an iTunes Account separate from mine, and wishes to purchase movies on Apple TV and have the fee deducted from her her account.
Is it possible to have your Apple TV bill more than one account?

You will have to log into your wife itune account but from the TV.
    Settings, itunes etc......

  • Failed Executive Escalation

I escalated my cash only status only to find they had no solutions for my issues either. Not being satisfied with the service I received from (removed) Fields, Executive relations, he had promised to send a letter to my address, so I would be able to retrieve a bank fee I received as a result of Verizon charging the wrong account on January 17th. Not to mention when he emailed me he addressed the email to the right address but wrong name (talk about not being just a number?) Well I did not get a letter, I wrote an email on February 19th to the Texas Division president informing her about the lack of resolution to my cash only issue, as well as the poor service received from Mr. Fields. To my surprise it was Mr. Fields who answered my complaint by calling me himself the next day. I have worked customer service my whole life and when you file a complaint with a huge company about a particular person, it is bad form to have the same person answer the complaint. This unprofessionalism is beyond disturbing. I want my cash only problem fixed, the problem was not my fault. Cash only as anyone can attest on this forum is of great inconvenience. Executive escalation is supposed to solve the problem but I still find myself in this terribly inconvenient situation.

The issue is when you sign up for auto pay it takes apparently 3 billing cycles to truly convert to the auto pay feature. After signing up for it after the millionth time they pushed it on me when I paid my bill, I transitioned from a small bank to a large bank due to the fact I travel often and had issues with my card being shut off all the time by the fraud department. I paid every month on time for years with no issues. Then my account several months after I sign up for it runs auto pay. I try to change the feature and it runs on this defunct account again after I change it. I use auto pay on several of my bills and changing the payment option has never been as hard as it was with Verizon, it is not user friendly in the least. It is pretty said when I feel the only option I have is to take this issue up In a Dallas County small claims court (thankfully they are liberal and pro-consumer courts!)

  • FEBAN

    Hello,
    Posting bank charges in FEBAN
When we receive payment for customer invoices in foreign currency or from foreign customer, we pay a bank fee (1,92 €).
In F-28, it is easy to post those charges as there is a separate field for this purpose.
In FEBAN however, I can’t find any other solution than to post the 1,92 €  with post.key 03, but then it goes to customer account and I have to clear the amount with F-32.
I have also tried to post it with post.key 40, but then I don’t get to the correct GL-account.
Q1: Could you give me some hints & tips on how to post bank charges in FEBAN the fast way?
Manually change light from red to green in FEBAN when using F-28
I would of course prefer to post the ingoing payments in FEBAN, since I then get the “green” light and knows for sure that the ingoing payments are posted.
However, sometimes we use F-28 and then I would like to manually change the red light in FEBAN to green afterwards.
    Q2: Is that possible???

    Hello,
Do anyone have and idea of this issue?

  • Bounced Check on an A/R invoice (item type)

Is there a way to make a new item, named "bank fee" (non-inventory, service type), connected to GL that credits the checking acct and debits an expense account?
(I know you can use an A/R service invoice, but can it be done with an A/R item invoice)

    Hi
If you are an accountant , please proceed with testing. If not please consult with partner or accountant before you proceed .
Inventory account can be managed by warehouse , item group and item level determination .
    You can see this by
Administration >Setup > Itemgroup if by item group -you can see ll g/l determination under accounting tab
Administration >Setup > warehouse if by item group
It is specified under Item Master data > set g/l account by under Inventory data.
    Hope this helps
