Banner Graphics do not display on server

Hi guys,
Thanks to Rick, I got my fab web banners sorted out for the
top of my web page. Looking at them remotely in Dreamweaver they
work fine. When I load them onto the remote site (1&1.co.uk)
they don't appear at all! The frame that contains them does appear
- called "banner_graphic" doea show itself, but not the jpg file
enclosed in it. here's the htnl code for the page:

Does anyone know what maybe the problem. Please assume
complete virginity in terms of putting a website together,. be
gentle with me it's my first time!

I see your banner image just fine.
It's likely the name of the folder as well as the file that's
hiding it on
your end. Using "banner" as the name of a folder and/or file
can often lead
to the image being blocked by an anti-virus program. Try
renaming both the
image and folder, then upload the renamed images and page(s).

If the banner image is not displaying, it is either not in an acceptable web file format (optimized for web as jpg, gif or png). Or it is corrupted. Or the path to the image file on server is broken.
It's impossible to say more without a link to your problem page.

Table cells/graphics do not display properly

I'm trying to integrate some HTML code (developed outside of
RoboHelp) for a somewhat complex table used to display a sliced
graphic, background colors, etc. It looks fine in Dreamweaver, but
when I paste the code into RoboHelp (true code pane), some of the
graphic slices do not display properly, e.g., the slices in the
bottom rows are offset slight and get repeated multiple times if I
resize the window. I notice that RoboHelp seems to add a bunch of
its own styles to my code, which might be part of the problem. Is
this a known issue with RoboHelp? Should I not bother using outside
HTML if it has some complexity to it?

I'm not an expert, mind you, but since I originated this
post, I'll take a stab at it... "Slicing" a graphic is a technique
used by Web desigers to design and display graphics more
efficiently or more flexibly. It involves slicing up an image into
several pieces like a jigsaw puzzle (often by using a program like

All graphics do not display correctly/patchy

When I run SQL Developer all th graphics for the buttons do not display. I get patchy buttons and lines though the screen. Any options I can set to stop this from happening?

What version of SQL Dev?
What version of Java?
Do you run dual monitors? If so, does this problem occur on both?

Disks Not Displayed in Server Manager 2012 After Upgrade

I have two identical IBM x3650 M3 servers with the M5014 RAID controller installed. The internal SAS drives are configured with three RAID 5 logical drives, basically a C:, D:, and E:. They also have an external eSATA drive with a Silicon Image eSATA
card installed that is used for backup. Both servers were upgraded from Server 2008R2 to 2012R2. Both of the server's firmware was updated prior to the upgrade and are using the same versions.
On the first server, all of the RAID controller's logical drives are displayed under Server Manger > File and Storage Services > Volumes > Disks. All of the volumes on these drives and the eSATA drive are displayed correctly under Server
Manger > File and Storage Services > Volumes.
On the second server, all of the volumes correctly displayed under Server Manger > File and Storage Services > Volumes. However, only the first logical drive is displayed under Server Manger > File and Storage Services > Volumes
> Disks. The other two logical drives are not displayed. The drives show up correctly under Disk Management and Device Manager. All of the data and shares are accessable and the server functions like it did before the upgrade. While it doesn't seem
critical at the moment, I would like to find out why the logical drives are not being displayed.

Did you have a failover cluster with a highly available storage solution that uses LSI MegaRAID controllers and use Server Manager to manage the storage using the LSI SMI-S storage provider? If so, the associated physical disks may not appear correctly in Server
Manager when you create storage pools or virtual disks from the storage pools.
To work around this issue, run the following Windows PowerShell cmdlet on all nodes, and then refresh the Server Manager UI:
Update-StorageProviderCache –DiscoveryLevel Full

Web graphic is not displayed the first time

Hi all
I have a strange issue with some users. The first time that they run the qry in the web, the chart is not diplayed, only is displayed a big "X" and the error msg is the msg below; but when they refresh, the chart is displayed ok.
How can I solve it?

JNDI name is not displayed in server console JNDI tree

Hi. I have two objects with similar JNDI names. Object 1 has JNDI name "abc.test1". Object 2 has JNDI name "Abc.test2". Here is difference in first char size: 'a' and 'A'.
The issue is that in JNDI tree weblogic server console displays only Object 1. To see Object 2 I can change JNDI name for this object, but I do not want to change JNDI name.
Is there any way to see both objects without renaming Object 2?
I use WebLogic Server 8.1 SP4.
JNDI tree is displayed from console left panel: <domain>-<server>-<server name>-<right mouse click>-"View JNDI tree"

Graphic styles not displaying

I have Graphic styles in the panel such as the Additive ones that have little red lines through the lower right corner, and when I apply them to images it make the artwork it was applied to disappear. What is going on with these?

1. I guess what I am confused by, is why are these even here (blank styles) if you can simply define your own style from scratch? Do these serve some other purpose?
2. When you define a new style, which attributes from the selected artwork does it take on? It seems to take the color, what about stroke, texture, etc? Is there a way to choose which attributes to select for the style and which ones you do not want it to take on?

Page not displayed on server but works fine locally in Jdeveloper

Hi,
The page works fine locally when run from Jdeveloper.
But when the page is imported to server and when the page is called....it trys to load the page for long time and times out and displays the IE error 'The Page cannot be displayed'.
Do I have to do anything specific in server after importing a page?

Graphic/Image not displayed with conditional formatting in Report Designer

We are facing problems with displaying an image in a conditional formatting in the Report Designer. The image itself is in the mime repository and can be displayed in the report if no conditional formatting is used. But if it is used the image doesn't appear in the report.
Backend setup: SP 8
Frontend setup: Patch 8, hotfix 2, Revision 95
Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi,
I could not reproduce your problem in internal SP8 system. Also images in rows with conditional formatting are displayed.
Do you get any errors after the execution in the portal?
Try to use exactly the same image in both rows (drag-and-drop with CTRL key pressed).
If then your problem still occurs, open a customer message. Describe your problem in detail and write technical name of the report you used.

Query iView Does Not Display Sql Server Tables

I have a system connected to a SQL Server (2000 Enterprise) and the Connection Tests works properly.
When I start to create a Query iView, I get to the point where I must select a JDBC system and select tables from it. When I select the tree node of my system, it displays "Loading ..." and then this disappears and nothing is displayed for this system.
Funny thing, I can create a Stored Procedure iview for this system, and it displays the available stored procedures.
Any ideas of the problem?

Hi Antony,
Upgrading from SP7 to SP9 fixed a lot of problems for me! It's worth trying.
Problems solved for me:
Page requests take about 2 minutes to display page (now within a few seconds)
KM SQL logging (30-50Mb per minute) problem fixed.
There are some problems upgrading to SP9, but searching this forum will help you in finding some solutions for this

Onboard Graphics Card Not Displaying Anything

I got a free MS-7613 (Iona-GL8E) motherboard from my friend 's friend which was fully working, he upgraded his motherboard and no longer wanted/needed it. This is the first PC I have ever started to build, I've worked on the, before and know a reasonable amount about them, but the problem I have with this is, the onboard graphics card doesn't display anything. I tried via VGA and HDMI on a monitor and TV, both outputted nothing. The wire and monitor definitely work. The motherboards seems to work fine, it used to beep when it had no RAM, since then I bought RAM and it's been fine. I had a graphics card in but removed it as it also displayed nothing. All the USB drives work and it turns on fine, it just display nothing. Could it be because it had a graphics card in perviously and doesn't display anything because of that? Any help would be great!

Hi, "Beware of greeks bearing gifts." Obviously there are reasons why you have ended up with a hand-me-down. One might be a bad motherboard graphics processor. You need to provide more information about your hardware configuration. Additionally, contact your friend and find out what HP product was the motherboard installed in so we can look for specific information. Post back when you have more information.

Credit Card Graphic (Logo) not displaying in ESS Travel Expense

We installed enhancement package 3 and activated/switched on the business function FIN_TRAVEL_1 to move to the new Webdynpro for Abap portal screens.
Under the Create Expense option, you can view imported credit card transactions.   Within the table, there is a column for "Credit Card Company".   It currently has the credit card name but a graphic missing icon.   I found the icons under the Webdynpro component FITV_MIME in SE80. All of the FI-TV configuration seems to be in place so my assumption it is something on the technical (like service activation via SICF) or Webdynpro side that is causing the issue.
Travel is the first application that we are bringing live on the SAP Portal so it very well could be something basic relative to our portal installation.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to resolve this?

MSN email graphic not displaying

The graphics are not displaying in my MSN email (not html). I do have it setup as Exchange . I have a Palm phone and they do display correctly there. Corporate Exchange works fine too.

I fixed it. I had to delete and as hotmail. I then entered my email as an msn email and it worked.

Certain things are not displaying of pages

Certain things are not displaying that I know are there. For example, on one of my websites there are 3 banner ads and the bottom of the pages plus there is another line that has ads scrolling across the page, I can see it with IE or Chrome but on Firefox all I see are 2 banner ads and no scrolling ads. This is just one example but it seems 1that certain graphics or banner ads do not display. The site I mentioned is at http://www.ViralTrafficMania.com.
Other people with Firefox say it displays fine so it must be something in my settings but I can't find it, please help.

You don't happen to run any ad blockers or script blockers or privacy extensions, do you? To see whether any of your extensions could be responsible for the blocking, try the site in Firefox's Safe Mode. That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)
Any difference?
