BAPI Generated Segment is missing 2 fields in WE31...Old Version

The BAPI BAPICHARACTDETAIL generates an idoc segment, it is in 46C, called E2BPCHARACTDETAIL000 for segment type E1BPCHARACTDETAIL.
Is there a way to regenerate the BAPI to re-create the segment in WE31?
Because the BAPI has two more fields than does the segment. If it were re-generated, somehow?, the 2 fields would show up.

in the tcode We31 enter the segment name and display.
You will get the all the available versions of segments.Check if the version you are looking for is available.
Select it and release it.

How to get item field values for old versions?

I need to be able to query old field values from previous versions of items in a SharePoint list. I can't execute code on the server (it needs to work with SharePoint Online/O365 for a start).
So far the ONLY API I've that lets me do this is the lists.asmx GetVersionCollection SOAP call.
This lets me specify a single field name and returns an XML structure with the values for the various versions, along with the modification time and who made the change - but NO reliable way of actually identifying *which* version (i.e. an ID or label). That
is, if I know I need to fetch the Title value from version 512 ("1.0") of item 1 in list "Documents", I don't see how to reliably parse the results to determine which entry is version 512. While they may be returned in order, in many cases
the entries are actually missing when there was no field value present (or perhaps when the field hadn't been created yet). I've tried comparing the Modified date to the Created date of the corresponding FileVersion item (which I can get via CSOM or REST),
and while it works some of the time, it's not reliable. I've also looked at the output from the lists.asmx GetVersion API but I don't see how that's useful either, as the Created property for all versions always seems to be just the date the file was originally
created.
It does seem odd to me that there's not a neat way of doing this - if I need to return information for several fields but just for a single version, I have to make a whole lot of requests that return far more info than I need, and then I need to figure out
how to parse the returned text in the case of, say, multiple-value taxonomy fields etc.
Anyone tried doing anything similar here?

How to Generate sales orders with custom Fields using BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI

I need to generate sales orders with custom fields on table CRMD_ORDERADM_H using BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI, after changing the structure BAPI_TE_CRMD_ORDERADM_H, and feed the EXTENSIONIN table of the BAPI with data, the order is created, but any value on custom fields.
After debuging, I saw that the BAPI search for structure conversion in table CRMC_OBJECTS_GEN, but we haven't entry with BAPI_TE_CRMD_ORDERADM_H in this table. is that the problem ?, Is there any way to fix it?

That depends on where do you have the customer fields, check the table CRMD_CUSTOMER_H, if your custom fields are there, you need to use the changing parameter CUSTOMER_HEAD, I guess your already checked that one, right? but there's no custom fields, well...AET/EEWB doesn't enhance the strcuture of the BAPI, so you should do it manually, check the note following note for further details.

If you don't have access to the SAP Marketplace, in resume you should create an append on the structure BAPIBUS20001_CUSTOMER_H and include the following strcutrue CI_EEW_CUSTOMER_H

Change pointers not being generated in case of Z fields (extension IDOC)

Hello,
My requirement is of generating change pointers when fields from customer master change ( z fields).
Actually this is working for standard fields, but not for z fields .
I have created a Z segment and added fields 'ADRC-STR_SUPPL3' & 'ADR3-FAX_NUMBER' and have written appropriate code for populating them in 'ZXVSVU01' of exit 'EXIT_SAPLVV01_001' .
However, when I try to run change pointers transaction BD21, it says 0 idocs and 0 communication params generated.I have added those fields properly in BD52 (object class - ADDRESSE).
If you change standard fields along with Z fields, it works, but if you change only the Z fields , it doesn't trigger a change pointer.
Is there something extra that we need to do in case of object class 'ADRESSE' ?

Add GL segment to movement type field status

At OMJJ, does anyone know if its possible to add GL segment field to a movement type?
Currently, I have a conflict between 201 movement type and a GL Account field status group where segment is mandatory for GL side, but is unavailable on MM movement type side. (RM07CUFA)
I checked field selection for movement type, but it doesnt have segment as an addable field.
Any input would be appreciated.

I tried OMJJ For movement type 601 I checked field which is Optional.
But for G/L account could not identify what it is. Eventhough I tried IMG>Valuation and Account Assignment__>A/C determination without wizard>Configure Automatic posting (OBYC)>GBB>Cahrt of A/c CAUS-->valuation area 7920 G/L a/c is assigned 894025.
Simulation of entry shows Offsetting emtry for inventory US01 Val A/c 7920 Both A/C debit & credit is missing. Its grey area so I can not put any a/c number..
Filed status G004 cost account Field status Cost center is also optional. (FS00 shows Field status group as G004)

, there is some issue on the generation of the Site Master IDoc (Message type: ZDEBMAS, Basic type: DEBMAS06).

IDOC, segment status missing in outbound IDOC

Hi,
how to generate an IDOC MATMAS with SAP with the segment status EDI_DS40?
Indeed, we need to transfer this idoc from SAP (ECC 6 EHP4) to an EAI (Synchrony).
The Idoc need to be fulfilled with the control segment, the data segment and the status segment to be parsed by the EAI.
The MATMAS message is generate by the transaction BD10 and send via a Transactional RFC port. We use SAP JCO 2.1.8.
The segment is missing for all type of Idoc.
Can you help me?

Hi,
The systeme Synchrony pass all test in SM59 (connection and unicode).
the segment that is need by Synchrony is EDIDS, not EDIDC.
Segment that are mandatory for Synchrony to receive IDOC via RFC with SAP JCO connector:
Segment EDI_DC40 (receive -> so OK)
Segment EDI_DS40 (not send by SAP -> so KO)

IDOC Segment is missing in the IDOC even though I have populated values

Hi Experts,
   I face a problem in the IDOC processing.
   I have a custom IDoc type with 2 segments in the same Hierarchy.
   In the Z program I populate both the segments and send the internal table to the MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE Fun.Module.
   When the IDOC is generated, I see the IDOC with only one segment and the 2nd segment is missing.
   When I debugged the program, I see the 2nd Segment also getting populated.
   Can you give some info that can resolve my issues.

Check the below points,
1. Check the internal table IDOC_DATA in MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE in debug mode whether the segement with values are populated.
2. Are you populating the parent & hierarchy level in segment, if yes check whether the values are right one.
3. There may be a possiblity the std SAP code would delete the custom segment if its any syntax error in segment defenition.
Check this and if you still have the issue come back.

Missing Mandatory field in IDOC

Hi All,
There is one outbound idoc which gives out an error status 40 "Application document not created in target system".
The error is Missing mandatory field : 1CS210,, not sure how tor find this missing field since the name does not match with the field names in the segments.
Can anyone help me?

Extending a BAPI generated IDoc

Hi All,
I have a standard SAP IDoc FIXEDASSET_CREATEINCLVALUES02, this IDoc is used to load fixed assets. We have 2 new fields we are adding to this IDoc so we need to extend the IDoc and create a new Segment for the 2 fields.
This IDoc is created by a BAPI "BAPI_FIXEDASSET_OVRTAKE_CREATE". So it is not possible to extend this IDoc like you would in any Basic IDocs.
This 2 new Z fields are already appended in the Database table we are using "ANLU".
Please I need a step by step process to extend this IDoc/Bapi.
Help will be grately appreciated.

Hi Basil,
You don't have to extend the IDOC/BAPI
Usually BAPI's are provided with EXTENSIONIN tables to make changes to custom table... play around with this BAPI and Extensionin tables in SE37 and see if you can update your custom fields ... Please see the documentation for how to update custom fields via BAPI for more information (in BAPI FM document and also in SDN )
Once you have successfully updated your custom fields directly via BAPI,fill the similar segment E1BPPAREX like the EXTENSIONIN parameter and your custom fields should be updated.
there are some examples in SDN for using the extensionin parameter for other BAPI; you can search for examples using "extensionin"

Field Segment is a required field for G/L account

Hi Friends,
Could some one help me out in solving the below issue.
I am getting the below error message while running the depreciation run.
"Field Segment is a required field for G/L account EM01 480000
Message no. F5808
Diagnosis
The value for field "Segment" in the interface to Financial Accounting is an initial value but you are required to make an entry in the field selection for G/L account "480000" in company code "EM01" linked to the field selection for posting key "40".

It might be an error in the configuration of the G/L account field selection. The initial application, used to call up the interface must otherwise define a value for field "Segment". If this is the case, contact the consultant responsible for the application used to call up the interface or get in contact with SAP directly.

Please check the field status group assigned to your GL account 480000 (Transaction FS00 > Interest/ Bank Details tab.) and then check the field status in transaction OBC4 for this field status group for the field Segment.
Also check the field status of your posting key in OB41.

2. Apply the patch 8626820:R12.JG.A;
3. For packages OKL_... and ICX_ ... please now follow Note.754340.1;
4. For the FV_... and FUN_.... please follow Note.758497.1;
5. For the GR_MIGRATE_TO_12 now follow the Note.733646.1;
(for note's step 5 about patch 6997324 open an SR with Support if you require a password)
6. Finally, to drop the view called ICX_PO_VENDOR_SITES_V, just execute in a SQL*plus (user APPS) session: drop view ICX_PO_VENDOR_SITES_V;

Missing some fields using TRANSFER write to file

Hi, Friends:
I have a structure which has been populated with data, saying its name is "h_fkkcolfile", and it has 30 fields.
The following statement is used to write its contents to one line of the output file, the file is in application server.
TRANSFER h_fkkcolfile TO i_file_name.
After the statement, we check AL11 for the contents of the file, we found only 19 fields has been written to the file, missing other fields.

In AL11 you can see only 512 char length, but when it download to local pc we can see all the fileds
try to download the file using transactio code
CG3Y and see the data.

Why do I keep seeing Missing required field: Publication when I try to publish a file in iBooks format?

I have produced a book in iBooks format and filled in everything asked for including but I can't slide the file into the window area and I get a message, Missing required field: Publication. I don't understand what I need to do to complete the transaction. I hope someone can understand and tell me what to do. Thank you.

Thank you. You're dealing with an old woman doing her best here. Sorry, I was somewhat distracted when I posed the question having been wrestling with it all afternoon. Yes, I am using iTunes Producer and have filled in all the information requested including cover art. The file is saved in iBooks format.
I click on Files at top left, which I assume to be the thing to do, and get a a new page showing red circle with a number 1 in it. Clicking on that produces this :
"Drag and drop the full book that will be used on the iBooks store. Books can be in the EPUB or iBooks format. Submitting a new book version will replace the existing version on the iBooks store.
Missing required field: Publication. "
I have tried to drag and drop the file into the box on the left but it won't allow me to. Clearly something is missing but I don't know what. I am just baffled as to what is wanted.
