BAPI to Maintain Supply Area

Hi Experts,
Is there a BAPI or FM to maintain table PVBE (Supply Area) that works the same as transaction PK05.
Or another method that I can use in LSMW...

Hi,
look at the Function modules
PVBE_DATA_MAPPING
PVBE_DATA_SELECTION
PVBE_KEY_SELECTION.
If these are not working in your case then use the LSMW

  • Supply area in kanban

    Hi All
i want to change a supply area for the exsiting kanban control cycle. I tried to change the supply area which is having the different storage location, but system is not allowing me to change it. Please suggest me if there is any other way to change supply area in the kanban control cycle rather deleting it.
    Your help is highly appreciated.
    Quantum.

    Hi
Steps in SAP: (Discrete Manufacturing - Classic kanban)
    1) Maintain Supply Area T code:PK05
    2) Create Material Master with all relevant Kanban Data Eg: JIT Delivery schedule, Supply area
    T code: MM01
Create BOM,Routing,Work Centre for which are all required to carry out Discrete manufacturing cycle- CS01,CR01,CA01
    3) Create Control Cycle: T code: PKMC
4)Go to Demand Kanban Board T code: PK 13 N
5)Convert Waiting Kanban to Empty (Using Kanban Board/ T code:PK21)
    6) Do the confirmation & Goods Receipt for order/ Convert Empty Kanban to Full (Using Kanban Board/ T code:PK21)
Similarly you can try other Kanban procedures like u2013
KANBAN with Quantity Signal , One-Card KANBAN, Event-Driven KANBAN Input: (For Classic Kanban)
    Input: (For Classic Kanban)
    Expected Results
    1. Maintain Supply Area T code:PK05 :- supply are will be created
    2. Create Material Master with all relevant Kanban Data Eg: JIT Delivery schedule, Supply area
T code: MM01 :- Proper Master Data will be created
    3. Create BOM,Routing,Work Centre for which are all required to carry out Discrete manufacturing cycle- CS01,CR01,CA01 :-
    4. Create Control Cycle: T code: PKMC :- Control Cycle/material will be created
    5. Go to Demand Kanban Board T code: PK 13 N :- Display of Kanban Control Cycles with Kanban
    6. Convert Waiting Kanban to Empty : - Production order will be generated
    7. Do the confirmation & Goods Receipt for order/ Convert Empty Kanban to Full :-
Kanban signal changes from Empty (Red) to Full (Green)

  • Supply Area-BOM Level by Level

    Hi Folks,
I am having a problem in fetching the Supply area when a Component is having many sub-assemblies.
    To be in detail,
I am fetching the  DISTINCT Production Order(AUFNR) from MSEG w.r.t to MBLNR and MJAHR.
Then w.r.t to this AUFNR I am fetching the BOM category(STLTY) and BOM (STLNR).
Then w.r.to this STLTY and STLNR I am fetching the Supply area(PRVBE).
If the supply area is maintained at this level, then fine.If this BOM is having many sub-Assemblies and the supply area is maintained at a different level then we need to explode that BOM step by step and fetch the Supply Area.
To be precise CS11 gives the Supply Area according to the BOM Level by Level.I just wanna fetch the Supply Area as per that.Do anyone here has an idea about how this functionality can be achieved.
I am trying to find by debugging CS11,any valuable inputs from experts here will be helpful.
    Thanks,
    K.Kiran.

  • Supply area assignment in Production order

    Hello All,
Is there supply area available in production order? As per my understanding the storage locations ( either issue or receiving ) data is available in the BOM of the Production order. But is there any field for capturing the supply area in the production order. If so from where is this supply area picked, is it from the Default supply area in the production version maintained in Material master? And in which tab can i see this supply area information in the Production order.
    Regards
    Divya

    Divya,
There is no field for supply area that can be found in production order. However this filed is available in Work center Master data. WC is displayed in the operation screen of production order.
Supply area (SA) is used in the context of material replenishment area and is situated directly on the shop floor. Many work centers (WC) could be located within a single SA. This field is available in WC so that location of WC can be displayed easily on a large shopfloor.
I am sure this helps. For more questions please come back.
    thanks,

  • Bapi for creating Sales Area data on Relationship

  • Production supply area (PSA)

    Hello,
I would like to know how to define the production supply area in the material master record. It would be of much help and precise if anyone could mention the view in material master in which the Production supply areas could be assigned for a material.
    Thanks,
    Maxx.

If you set this up on material master, it will always stage material to this area. You can achieve the same by maintaining a control cycle. With control cycle and leaving this field blank on material master, you can map it to the level of storage bin for production staging.

  • Supply area

  • Errror : production supply area not available fieldin  work center .

    HI
       hi friends
i want  to maintain production supply area in work centre...
production supply area means storage location??
i have a confusion between storage location and production supply area
pls suggest me where i missed the setting
    with regards
    dinesh

Production supply area is not a storage location. It is linked to one, but you may have more than one supply area per storage location.
Supply areas are used in KANBAN processes, and I think that also in WM-PP interface.

  • Material batches from Production Supply Area St. Type

    Hello Team,
    1.  User do LP12 for WM Staging [MvT 319]
    2.  He Goto LB11 and creates TO.
    3.  But when User creates TO for 319 MvT, system picks up batch from Production Supply Area.
It should NOT pick up material batches from Production Supply Area.
    Please suggest at earliest..
    Thanks
    Tushar

    Hi,
    Check customizing settings
check PK05, check if you have maintained the proper production supply area , WM storage loc. As I see it you are doing prod supply for release order parts. Also see cr02, basic data , see if you have assigned proper production supply area.
check storage type 100 is properly defined , movement type 319  are created and their assignment made in WM.
Also check if you have activated PP/WM interface.
If all the settinsg are done , there should be no problems.

  • Handling Unit Management and supply areas with WM/control cycles

    Dear all,
has anyone come across the issue how to handle a replenishment process for production with supply area within WM and Handling Unit Management?
Normally a supply area is being staged via control cycles. in the supply area, all storage units get lost (standard functionality as far as I know). When we post the GI, the components will be taken out of the supply area, backflushing is not allowed as far as I know.
Now: what happens if HUM is switched on? Do we have to enter a HU for these GI's as well? Or does the supply area  keep the information of the SU/HU? I want to avoid that the users have to tell the system the HU no. for every screw they take/consume...
    Thanks & regards
    Christian

    Hi,
    (as already described,)
it is possible to use handling unit management together with lean
warehouse management. You activate handling unit management independent
from storage unit management (that is only possible in case of full-WM
    as far as I know).
Only in case if storage location is full-WM- AND HU-managed the storage
unit management is always active and HU numbers are taken over as SU
numbers. In all other cases HUM and SUM are independent from each other
and number ranges must be set a way that they are not overlapping.

  • Maintain Controlling Area Settings: - Transportation

    Maintain Controlling Area Settings:
In development server i maintained PCA controlling area settings like "Standard Hierarchy, PCt Local Currency Type '.
after i we transported to testing server these are not transported all other are transported.
can you plz explain on this. and give me solution.
    thank you

    Hi,
These parameters are not included automatically in transport; you have to include them manually via 0KEP and 0KEQ transactions.

  • BAPI to Maintain data in tcode WB0n/table WRF6

    Hi,
Is there a BAPI to maintain the data in transaction WB0n or table WRF6?  I find the standard tcode WBTI/E that may do the job, is it still supported by SAP?
    thanks,
    J.Wong

    Hi
I think that it's not possible. The most similar that I have found is BAPI_RETAILSITE_GETMATGROUPS, that call the FM LOCATION_MERCHGROUPS_WITH_TEXT that read in WRF6, but not to mantain it.
    I'm sorry

  • Maintain controlling area

    Hi Guys,
When i am trying to maintain the controlling area I am getting the following error. I am trying to use the copy function when trying to create the controlling area and it is giving the following message
"You can only copy or replace object area in structure mode"
How can we create the controlling area.
    Thanks,
    Srikanth.

    Hi All,
I am also getting the same error, mentioned below.
You can only copy or replace object Controlling area in structure mode
    Message no. CZ448
    Diagnosis
You can only copy or replace the organizational object Controlling area in structure mode, because multiple object dependencies need to be considered.
    System Response
The action cannot be carried out in single mode.
    Procedure
Copy or replace the org. object in structure mode. Choose "Structure" and select a suitable enterprise structure from "Templates" or enter your own choice in "Navigation".
I tried to create controlling area many times with same procedure but system always shows same error which i had mentioned above.
Chart of accounts & fiscal year variant are same of both controlling area 0001 & company code 0001. Also company code 0001 is assigned to controlling area 0001.
Still i am getting this error every time when i create controlling area.
Steps which i am following while creating controlling area are - Enterprise Structure - Definition - Controlling - Maintain Controlling Area. In last step i am creating controlling area in activity "Copy, Delete, Check Controlling Area".
Please advice solution for the same.
    Earliest reply would be appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Adstrtal.sh: Database connection could not be established. Either the database is down or the APPS credentials supplied are wrong.

In our R12.1.3 EBS, on RHEL 5.5, 64-bit, we are getting this error -
