Barcode Problem with free 3 of 9

I have an application (vb6) that opens a report and passes the parameters to it to create the report on the fly(they are passed as strings). one of the fields is a barcode ( I am using a free font - free 3 of 9). you can find it at ( http://www.squaregear.net/fonts/free3of9.shtml).
at design time, when I insert the string in the report and I change the font to free 3 of 9, the barcode displays fine, including the the * at start and stop. e.g. to see 12345 I set the string to 12345, it shows and scans fine.
the problems appear when I pass the string to the report from the vb application. the * get deleted from the generated barcode and of course is not readable anymore. if I format the string to any other font the * are there. the creator of free 3 of 9 explains in his site that ms word will use ** to create Bold in the text. and he explains what must be disable in MS word to make it work.
what can I do to make it work in Crystal?

According to your description, you can render the barcode in Report Builder using bar code fonts. But it can't be rendered successfully in web page and PDF export.
In this scenario, the reason why the barcode can't be rendered exactly in PDF/web page is because the barcode font is not responsible for the embedding process. It has reported a lot of same issue. To solve this problem, we suggest you add third party reference
into your refer, use custom code and create function for converting text string into Bytes. Then we can render the Bytes as image. Please refer to the links below:

Problem with free space on itnernal hdd on mac book pro!

On the about this mac menu i storage i get 512 gb of backups and if you add all the numbers given for the internal hd the total is 837.88 gb on a 750 gb hd! When i go to finder my macbook pro and get info on the macintosh hd ->get info i get 582 bg free! i have repaird the disk permitions and repaird the disk! but it doesnt seen to work!

what i want to say is that there is a problem with reading the actual free space from the hard drive....i had 259gb free space and after deleting 100gb + and restarting i had only 100 gb free indicated...!
these are the values i take at the same time!! they are obviusly both wrong!!

Problem with Free of Charge Sale Returns against Cost Center

Dear All,
The problem is related to Free Sales which is as follows -
I have issued free of charge against Cost Center & now I want to know whether any process is there or configurations can be done to return the free of charge issued goods along with the cost center. As in the order in header level while doing return the cost center is not getting reflected.Again in the outbound delivery creation mode also at the item detail level under the "Financial Processing" tab the cost center field is present but it is greyed out/ inactive.
Please suggest what are the configurations needed to create returns of the Free Of Charge goods against Cost Center.

Hello Mr. Lakshmipathi,
First of all thanks for your help.As per your suggestion I have maintained the Cost Center against the Order Reason in OVF3 and it is getting reflected in the Sales Order but whenever I am keeping the field of Cost Center blank in OVF3 the "Cost Center " is remaining inactive & not even displayed in Sales Order.Instead the system is asking for WBS element.
Now I want to know is there any configuration possible so that the Cost Center field will be reflected in either Sales or Delivery Order as blank space & not greyed out which will be filled up manually.
Plesae suggest.

Problem with Free-of-Charge Sales

Dear All,
The problem is with the document flow of free-of-charge sales where although I am using standard Item Category KLN still after completion of the Sales Process till invoicing the status is showing " Being Processed" against Free-of- Charge Sales Order & "Completed" against Delivery, PGI & Invoice.
How can I change the status to "Completed" against Sales Order also?

Check the schedule line category whether it is marked as item relevant for delivery,remove the check box and try.

Problem with Free on Board -FOB- cost

Dear Experts,
I am dealing with a huge problem I am tryng to get a cost from the rows on a Purchase Delivery Note but the price that is posted there isn't the correct one I had tried to put a new user field but It seems that SBO doesn't give me the chance to modify a row even if its not one of its own fields. What can I do to solve this problem I need to input a data for each row, how can I do it if its not enabled to do it?

Hi,
This is by design. You are not allowed to change those fields as soon as you added them to the system. That is the warning message said clearly when you click on Add.

Problem with free disk space

Hi. I have a problem on the 256Gb SSD of my MBP retina.
Before deleting a 40Gb video folder i had 80gb free disk space.
After the delete if i check the disk info from the icon on the desktop i have 120gb but checking in the disk utility say i stll have 80gb free. Why?

TM will do that on any laptop if it is not tethered to a Time Machine drive. It then deletes the files (local snapshots) later - see some info here:

For some reason, my iPhone won't let me download FREE apps to my phone, and I have money on my card? This has been going on for like 2 months and I just don't know what to do anymore... anyone else have this situation?

Have a look at the following:
New devices activated after Sep 1, 2013 and running iOS 7 or later will qualify for the free iWork suite (Pages, Keynote, & Numbers). iPhoto, and iMovie (which are not part of iWork) are also free. If you activated your device before Sep 1, 2013, your device does not qualify.
Try this:
Go here to verify your device registration (you'll need to login using your Apple ID credentials):

You can view your registered device(s) here and if there are any you've missed registering, you can do that as well. You can also register new devices here. Afterwards, visit the App Store and your free apps should be available to you.
*IF* this does not work, continue as follows:
Log out of the iTunes Store on your device:
Settings>iTunes & App Store...tap your Apple ID, then select "Sign Out"
Reset your device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
After the device has restarted, sign back in to the App Store as above. Try to download the apps again from the App Store.

Problem with free of charge items

Hi experts,
I am trying to create a free charge item and system is not proposing TANN item category automatically.
There are no other items in the order except for this free of charge item.
Am i missing some steps?

In sales order overview screen, enter the original material as well as the material you want to give away for free.
Assign the lowest level item to the higher level item by indicating item number of higher level item in field HgLvlt.
If item number of higher level item is 10. Then against item number for your free item, in field HgLvlt enter 10.
Once you do this, you would get message that item category will be redetermined.

Problem with free of cost when contract price is maintained

We want to create an FOC sales order for a particular customer, particular material, etc. This material has a contract price (ZCON). We set the usage in the header to FOC and itemcategory ZTNN is determined. This is correct. Nevertheless the item is priced with reference to the contract price in stead of nett order value 0,00. What is it that i do wrong?

The other thing i can think of is check your sales doc type in the section of transaction flow the outline agreement messages should not be set to either C or D.
Do inform it worked or not.

We're as much in the dark as you... you need to provide system information and otehr details liek what browser you use, what your network connection is etc.. As a start, try the altrernate download method:
