Basic Order View - Plant Maintenance

Looking for any advice, tips, tricks, things to look out for in using screen blocks, to structure the tabs on work order configuration, similar to notification configuration.  I believe that this functionality came in with enhancement pack 3 in ECC6.0.

For creting a Order view as per ur requierment, first u need to create a view profile in the customozing
When defining the tab pages, you must note the following:
The key of the tab page serves as the sort key for the sequence in which the tab pages are displayed.
You can assign a maximum of eight screen areas to a tab page. The sequence in which the screen areas are assigned also determines the sequence in which they are displayed on the tab page.
There are screen areas that take up a whole tag page (fullscreen). You must always enter these screen areas in the field for the screen area 1.
For all the pushbuttons for the navigation, that are offered on the initial screen of the order, you must define which tab page is displayed when you select the pushbutton.
If you do not define an active tab page for a pushbutton, the system uses the first tab page.
Now assign the created profile to the order type, planning plant and the activity category.
If you leave the activity category empty, then the assigned view profile applies to all the activity categories.
If you also define an activity category (for example, add), then the assigned view profile only applies to this activity category.

    Thanks SN. Yes, I am aware of the user exit and also that we can configure the screens of work order in ECC 6.0 using SPRO but the only problem is that we have to build it from scratch. My question was to know if SAP had standard screen templates or profiles like they have for Notiification. Anyways thanks for your response, I got the below response from SAP for my question.
    I've checked if its possible to customize the screen selections
    like it can be done for notifications and unfortunately it isnt
    possible in the standard system

  • Basic order view IMG activities in ECC6.0

    Hi guys,
    In our ECC6.0 system the IMG activities for customizing the tab pages in the PM order are missing. In the releasenote for ECC 6.0 it says I should expect it under Maintenance and Service Orders -> Functions and Settings for Order Types -> Basic Order View.
    Any of you have the same problem? How did you get to the IMG activities?

    To enable the PM order screen layout in IMG, the extension set EA-SCM-IMG (Enterprise SCM switch for IMG) activation is enough or any other components are needs to be configured. (Component EA-APPL is already installed).
    Is there any implications by activating this extension set? where should i get the documentation to know the affects by activating any extension set.

    Attempting to configure a basic order view for order type F1
    I have configured the basic view profile with the following to see if it will work:
    View profile:  Fleet
    Tabs
    Tab Page  10
    Tab Active  "checked"
    TabPageTitle  Fleet Order
    TabPageSymbol  Blank
    S 1  005
    S 2  001
    S 3 002
    Navigation
    Pushbutton   Header Data
    Tab Page  10
    I have also assigned this to the F1 order type for all activities.
    When I go to create an F1 order my view does not change.
    What could I be missing?

    You need to be really careful when you are turning on enhancement packs on SAP, once this functionality is working is not possible to return back. This application may have impacts in other areas

  • Unable to create a order in plant maintenance

    Hi,
    I  have deployed BUSINESSPACKAGEs of ERP5 for  PLANT MAINTENANCE,  after deploying i have assigned the roles and configured sso when i go to role maintenance execution and click on create order i can open the screen. but when click on notification and click on create order i could not able to create the order
    The error throughing is iview "maintenance_order" not available.
    Could you please tell for the above iview which BUSINESS PACKAGE is used.

    The BOM structure is reflected in the different technical categories of BOM provided in the PM system:
    Simple BOM
    The first BOM that you create for a technical object or material has no defined technical category and a simple structure. It is described as a "simple BOM".
    Variant BOM
    Variant BOMs have a more complex structure. They are used to group together several BOMs to describe different objects that have a high proportion of identical parts.
    Multiple BOM
    Multiple BOMs have the most complex structure. They are used to group together several BOMs to describe one object, for which different combinations of materials are used for different production methods. Multiple BOMs are usually used in production planning and have little or no use for plant maintenance.
    Note: There is no concept of Alternative BoM for PM.

    I am working on Plant maintenace module. I want to change the PRTs associated to an operation (VORNR) of an Order (AUFNR) programatically.
    The PRT documents are created automatically in SAP with newer versions. Whenever a newer version is encountered, The PRT link with the Operation of an order should be changed programatically.
    Is there any BAPI avaialable to do change PRT linkt o operation of order  ?

    Budget Profile:
    IMG => Internal Orders => Budgeting and Availability Control => Maintain Budget Profile
    Make sure activation type made to 1.
    Availability control settings:
    IMG => Internal Orders => Budgeting and Availability Control => Define Tolerance Limits for Availability Control

    I am new to plant maintenace, I need to create reports for equipment log.
    fields in the report are
    Notification#, order#, Notification type, TechId#, functional location, event description, Equipment Number, Description,date due (basic finish), Completed by ( from conf#), Completion date(Actual finish), Reviewed by (from Action Log), Date closed.
    Please suggest me what are the tables should I conider to create report for above data.

    How to give the authorization <b>to two different persons</b> for <b>permits issue</b> in plant maintenance order?

    If you see the purpose of permits it is very basic. If you need permission to do hot work you need permission from the fire department. There will be a designated person from the fire department to issue the permit. And that's it. No more advanced features.
    If you want additional features I think your solution lies in WCM.

  • Plant Maintenance Order Act Costs-0PM_OM_OPA_2 or 0CO_OM_OPA_6 datasources?

    To get Actual/plan costs for the value categories in Plant Maintenance workorders, which DataSource  would I use? The 0PM_OM_OPA_2 or 0CO_OM_OPA_6?
    What is the difference? The 0CO_OM_OPA_6 is already pulling data for Internal orders in our system.
    How can I check to see if this is also pulling in Maintenance Order data?
    Since 0CO_OM_OPA_6 is already pulling in data, does it make sense to use this DataSource  instead of activating the 0PM_OM_OPA_2 data source?

    Sorry, I should explain my requirement in detail.
    I should not use the LO Cockpit 2LIS_17_13HDR or 2LIS_17_13OPER datasources. But I need to get the WorkOrder Header and Detail data (operation lines with confirmations, AFVC and AFRU tables) along with the actual costs to create a custom BEx query for the work order header/detail and actual costs.
    My initial thought was to enhance 0COORDER_ATTR and get the WorkOrder header data. 0COORDER does not have the Equipment or Functional Location. 0COORDER_ATTR would need to be enhanced to add these.
    For Operation line and confirmations data, write a Generic data source to populate a DSO. Then use the actual costs data coming from the 0CO_OM_OPA_6 datasource.
    After further thought, I am wondering if I can use 0PM_ORDER as is without enhancements and use the 0PM_OM_OPA_2 to get the actual line data. Also, here I have a question. 0PM_OM_OPA_2 is used to populate 0PM_DSO4 DSO along with 3 other datasources, the 2LIS_17_13HDR , 13OPER and 1 datasources. Since I cannot use the LO datasources, can I poulate the DSO with just this one datasource(0PMOM_OPA_2)?
    For operational lines I would still write the generic data source (a view might suffice).
    Experts out there, please let me know if I really off here, with the design.

    Hi,
    You can check KOC4, in this select order types and enter date and execute, later on select debit amount and credit amount in screen layout, if both are equal it is settled, otherwise you have to settle the orders.

  • Goods issue for plant maintenance order

    Goods issue with ref to plant maintenance order( Componenets of the order) is not possible in transaction code MIGO. Error message " MIGO is not possible for the refurbishment order".
    Goods issue for the same order can be posted with transaction MB!A.

    kindly check the order type .i think you are using MB1A for refurbishment process.but it is not possible.only maintenance order can be posted via MB1A
    follow the procedure for goods issue in refurbishment order.
    Choose Logistics ® Plant maintenance ® Maintenance processing ® Completion confirmation ® Goods movement ® Goods movement.
    The entry screen for a goods issue appears.
    Choose the pushbutton For order.
    Enter the relevant order number in the dialog box and choose Continue.
    An entry screen appears.
    Choose Copy.
    The Maintain Serial Numbers dialog box appears.
    Choose Reference document.
    Enter the order number in the Refurbishment order group box and choose Execute.
    A list appears with the planned serial numbers for the refurbishment order.
    Check the selections of serial numbers, for whose material you want to post a goods issue, and choose Copy.
    The serial numbers are copied into the Maintain Serial Numbers dialog box.
    Choose Exit window.
    The goods issue is posted.
