BBM Groups - lost ability to be administrator when changing devices

My Bold's screen stopped working to I used an old loaner Curve that didn't support BBM Groups prior to moving into my Torch 9810 that I have now. My BBM contacts followed me but my BBM groups did not. I was able to get re-invited to these groups by others that were members of these groups but now the administrative is not possible as the BBM group still believes that those privledges still belong to my unuseable Bold. I've learned my lesson and will allow at least one other group member to have administrative permissions for future groups to avoid this in the future but, for our current groups, does anyone know of a fix to allow for the administrative properties to be moved? Thanks!

You create a new group (give another access as Admin), invite the other members.
Delete the old group.

ACS 5.3 - Error when changing Device group or Location

I am trying to move a device from the Default location to a sub group and get the following message when I try (either with IE or Firefox)
This System Failure occurred: Index : 0, Size: 0. Your changes have not been saved. Click OK to return to the list page.
it also gives me the same error if I try and change the Device type from default to a sub group. I'm sure I could do this previously. The ACS build is (VMWARE install):

I'm suspecting it a read/write issue with the database or a database corruption. Can anyone enlighten me on how to fix it please ?
I have stopped and started the application acs via the console and show application status acs has the following to say about itself.

Does this happen to small number of network devices or the whole set
If the former then I found the following CDETS
CSCtw59271    Random Network Device corruption after upgrade from ACS 5.2 to 5.3
Which includes the following workaround
Symptom 1: Delete and re-add the AAA client
Symptom 2:Modify the TACACS+ shared secret of the Network Device, re-enter the same key and save the Network device.

There are some important fixes related to upgrade issues in patch 5 and later for ACS 5.3. While these do not relate to NDs I do recommend installing this patch

BBM Group -LOST!

I lost a group that I started. I tried "restoring" from a backup but it still will not show up. All other groups are present except this one. I can't be invited by other members, since I am the admin!
HOW CAN I RETRIEVE THE GROUP ON MY PHONE?!?!?
Any suggestions???

Only the admin had invite privileges?
In that case, just kill the group and start over. That's all you can do. And get a second admin for the new one.

Lost images/sound clips/video when changing langua...

i've never had this problem or any similar problems in the 4 months i've had this phone. today i changed the language from english to tagalog (pilipino), and when the phone restarted it had deleted all of my images (bar one), videos and sound clips (bar one). that's all i've noticed it has deleted so far, my messages and contacts are still there. i've never had problems with it prior to this happening... is there any way of recovering the data?

I've also got same problem. Interestingly enough, background music added to DVDs title page plays OK on the burned CD (everything previews perfectly). However, go to 'play' the burned DVD, and while the video is there, the audio tracks are silent. Source material is an iMove project, and audio tracks are all AIFF files.
Also tried physically burning the DVD with Disk Utility. DVD burns OK, but on playback (both on home stereo DVD player, and on Mac), title slide and background music works fine, but after selecting to play the movie, the audio tracks are all gone... only silence This is with burning directly from iDVD, or by saving the project as an img file, and then burning it to DVD via Disk Utility.
Any clues appreciated!

Lost ability to SSH & Ping without changing configuration

Howdy - hoping someone with a bigger brain than I can help me figure this out. I had a problem with the recent storms wiping out my ADSL & phone line. The phone co. got my line and connection back up, and I can get outbound connections fine (e.g., email & HTTP work fine) but for some reason after the physical repair to my phone line, I can no longer SSH into my home system through my AEX/1000 box.
Prior to the line problem, I enjoyed easy SSH connections via port 22 to my home computer. Now, without changing any configuration (and verifying that all configurations are identical to the condition they were in prior to the outage), I can no longer tunnel into my home computer, nor ping the IP (dyndns - it's always worked flawlessly for me).
And yes, I've rebooted DSL modem, AEX and main SSH server multiple times. Ideas?

Well, I wouldn't put that past AT&T. But I don't know how to reckon if they are. Their technical support is all but useless except for the most mundane or simple issues. And the amount of time it would take me to work my way through the phone tree to get to someone who could actually answer that question (I've tried before) would make it more feasible to switch ISP's and start from scratch. I thought there might be some issue with the AEX router or port forwarding that I'm missing. But like I said, the only thing that's changed is that I lost the ADSL line for a couple of days.

Angle tool - Ability to keep active when changing slides

When browsing slides in Develop mode it would be able to leave the Angle tool active so that one could rotate all slides in one pass. Currently the process defaults to crop mode (How many times do I have to Crtl-z).
A nice enhancement would be able to draw vertical lines (ie greater than 45 degrees assume vertical)

Shared photo streams when changing devices

My daughter and I are swapping iPhone 5's (black & white). I am curious what will happen to my photo streams and shared photo streams? I am backing up via iCloud. Will they be on our new devices after we restore or will we lose all of them. Would the contents of the restore be any different if I backup/restore with iTunes?

Photos in photo stream...
You can log into your iCloud account and enable photo stream to see your photo stream photos.
Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there (subject to a 1,000 photo limit) until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.

If you kept a back up of your device you can use it to restore to a replacement device, this will restore all of the photos in your camera roll and isn't time limited.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

BBM Group Administrator

I created on BBM group and was administrator to that group. After that I changed my handset and removed myself from the earlier handset.
Now in the current handset, I am not the administrator and in the previous handset, I dont have the group...so now the problem is that we dont have any administrator in that group.
How to get back my administrator rights of the group?

Ask someone from that group to remove you from the group and then invite you to the group and then you go to the group and press BB button go to 'Adminstration' then select 'Make me am Adminstrator'. It may ask you to enter the password if you kept one.

Have you tried deleting and readding the e-mail?
Yahoo has been doing upgrades for the past few weeks, causing random outages for users. Sometimes you just have to wait it out, other times removing and re entering the account info clears things up.

Bbm group message problem

Hi, I am new to this forum so please excuse me if some of my questions seem odd. I have two questions about using bbm groups. A group previously set up and used frequently for past year or so now no longer is working.
Specifically, when I go to the group I show up as 'available and there is an icon of a key next to my name. The other members of the group show up as 'unreachable' and when I highlight each individual the message is 'you are disconnected from John in this group'. Each of the other individuals are able to chat amonst each other but can't connect to me.
Each of the other members have been re-invited and have accepted the invite but I get the same error. Any thoughts and help would be appreciated? Also is there a list of the various icons that blackberry displays anywhere to be found?

The 'key' icon indicates you are an Administrator of the Group.
You need to assign another member as an Administrator of the group, and then you leave the group, Wait a couple of hours or more, and have the remaining Admin re-invite you to the Group.

Help with BBM Groups

Hello all,
My question pertains to BBM groups which isn't specific to either BlackBerry 10 nor BlackBerry 7 and earlier, and I was not sure which one forum location would be appropriate for this question, so I opted to post it to the Downloaded Software section in both the BlackBerry 10 and BlackBerry 7 and earlier spaces. My appologies if this was not "the right way to do it".
My question is one that I also posted on CrackBerry.com forums but after some time it seems I may stumped the community over there with this one.
Here is what I wrote over there:
"I recently created two BBM Groups and posted them here on CrackBerry with minor fuss. Yay for me. In each forum post I included a QR Code / Bar code of each BBM Group so as to make them easier to join. Yay for me again.
What I realised thereafter was that though this makes joining easy for anyone reading the posts from a screen other than their BlackBerrys, it does NOT make it easy for someone actually reading the thread from their BlackBerry and thinking to themselves "Oh hey, I want to join that group". At least, not that I can tell. I don't think it's possible to scan a QR code on your BlackBerry screen from the same BlackBerry, right? That's my assumption. If someone knows otherwise, please let me know, that would solve my issue.
SO, if I am right in my assumption and one cannot scan a QR / Bar code from one's own BlackBerry when said code appears on the BlackBerry's own screen, I am looking for another way to make it easy for someone reading the post to just "tap or click here" to join the group, to make as easy for someone who would be scanning the QR / Bar code from another source.
I tried getting the text URL for the group from the code and pasting it into a thread, but when it comes up in the CrackBerry app on the BlackBerry, the link is not clickable / tappable. I then tried adding the CrackBerry post editor tool's "Link" too to make the URL text an actual URL, though the only effect that had was that the URL appears clickable / tappable in the BlackBerry's CrackBerry app, but tapping / clicking on it has no effect. After making this change I tried to view the same thread post in my browser both on computer and on the Z10. When I click it DOES react but on the Z10 browser I just get a message "Unable to open bbg:<yadda yadda>".
So I've shared a lot of detail but the point I am really focused on is "is there a way for BlackBerry users to be able to join my BBM Group, on their own, as easily as if they had scanned the bar code, when all they have access to is the phone itself, and no outside media from which to scan the code"?
I am trying to avoid things like "Send me your PIN" and such because that just creates so many more steps and acts as a barrier to entry. Similarly, I don't see myself telling the reader "Just take this bar code you see here, and arrange to print or display it somewhere other than on your BlackBerry screen and then scan it".
Any input on this would be most appreciated!"
Essentially, I'd like to be able to post something that a BlackBerry user can look at on their BlackBerry, and tap / click on it, and boom they're done (i.e. they are at the same place they would be if they had instead just scanned the QR code).

I think there is a case for it. With any luck someone from BlackBerry will see the suggestion and will pass it along.

Dear GTS gurus,
In Risk Management module when we execute the report "Analyze LTVD Request Relevance of Products" (/SAPSLL/PRE_VD_OPT_ANL_PROD) we sometimes get the error message:
No logical system group can be determined for administrative unit *******
Now I did some googling and found the following website: consolut - /SAPSLL/PRE_VDEC139 - No logical system group can be determined for administrative unit &amp;1 - /SAPSLL/…
It says that in customizing item "Define Administrative Unit Attributes" some assignment is missing but I was not able to figure out what exactly. I compared it with Administrative Units which did not not issue any error messages and customizing looks good to me.
Can you share your insights on this topic?

Under the Admin Unit attributes, you must have a Plant Group defined.
Is that Plant Group assigned to a logical system ?
(IMG: General Settings -> Organizational Structure -> Define Cross-Plant evaluation (or Define Plant-based BOM evaluation)
By the way, the site you have found is one of the many sites out there that lists the messages available in a SAP system. The same information is available within GTS (Transaction SE91).
