BBSM fails to locate client
i have a bbsm server I'm bringing up on line. Trying to add the first site, i configured everything i think right, but the client gets a network error page, and the event log shows:
EventID:28
Source:BBSM_AtNotify
Description:
Failed to locate client ip:10.233.1.10 MAC: 00 00 00 00 00 db on any network device.
i did a debug on the AP1200 (12.3(4)JA) i am using and see that the bbsm is talking to the bbsm. I just can't figure out what i am doing wrong.
Debug from AP:
Apr 26 21:30:25.694: SNMP: Packet received via UDP from 10.230.0.2 on BVI1
Apr 26 21:30:25.695: SNMP: Get request, reqid 2739, errstat 0, erridx 0

Apr 26 21:30:25.699: SNMP: Packet sent via UDP to 10.230.0.2
There are many reason for this kind of errors.check some listed below

ASA 5505 initial build - Failed to locate egress interface (Please help :-) )
Hi, I have just purchased a ASA 5505 and have completed the initial setup via the wizard. I am currently unable to access services on the outside of the ASA.
The error: 'Failed to locate egress interface for UDP from inside'.... appears when ever my DNS server attempts a lookup.
I have configured this several times from scratch using the wizard and I am unable to figure out the issue with the NAT / Routing config.
If I run the packet tracer I get the error: "(no-route) no route to host", however I do have a default route configured so I suspect it maybe my NAT configuration.
Overview, 192.168.10.0/24 inside the ASA, 192.168.1.0/24 outside the ASA, 192.168.1.1 is the gateway to the internet. I ideally want the ASA to use PAT to mask the 192.168.10.0/24 network behind the ASAs 192.168.1.0/24 network address but still allow clients to gain internet access.
Full config follows, screen shots attached, any help would be very gratefully received.
Result of the command: "sh run"

: endJust to want to be sure, can you post output from show int ip brie and show route? And try to remove your ACL for testing purpose or at least don't applied it anywhere yet.
Once done, try do another packet-tracer to 8.8.8.8 using icmp packet instead of UDP paste the whole the output here. Before doing this, add icmp any any outside command on the ASA.
I know this should have anything to do with your issue, because if ACL is the issue then you will see output being denied by ACL on the packet tracer output. Let us know the results. -

ASA 5505 Split tunneling stopped working when upgraded from 8.3(1) to 8.4(3).
When a user was connecting to the old 8.3(1) appliance they could access all of our subnets: 10.60.0.0/16, 10.89.0.0/16, 10.33.0.0/16, 10.1.0.0/16
but now they cannot and in the logs I can just see

any hints? i have tried almost everything. the running configuration is:

asdm history enableDear Darko,
The problem here is the overlapp issue with the Internal network.
Since the VPN pool is:
ip local pool OAKPRD_pool 10.60.30.110-10.60.30.150 mask 255.255.0.0
And the local network is:
interface Vlan1
nameif inside
security-level 100
ip address 10.60.70.1 255.255.0.0
So since you have some NAT rules telling the FW that 10.60.0.0/16 is connected to the inside, we need to change that and force it to know that 10.60.30.0/24 is actually reachable to the outside.
On the other hand, yes you could point to outside interface, but is not a good practice.
Thanks.
Portu.

TVSU 3.x fails to locate updates from new TVUR 3.0 repository
Hi,
Up until the recent upheaval when I had a working TVSU/TVUR system for -14 Thinkpad types- I have a new TVUR 3.x in place with downloads for a T42-2374.
I have a new clean install of XP on the T42 and the latest TVSU fails to locate any update packages from the new TVUR repository. On the client side I have resorted to TVSU updates from Lenovo which seems to be running perfectly well.
Can anyone confirm whether the new TVUR 3.x system actually works!
Regards.
PilooHi all
You can verify the status of the short name of the "system update" directory (the primary problem) by doing the commands below. The problem i think, starts when short name generaten is turned off when _installing_ TVSU. then the SYSTEM~1 shortname will not be generated, and the program will revert to use long names, but quoting them wrong!
try:
cd c:\program files (x86)\lenovo
dir /n /x
IF TVSU is installed while short name generation is turned on (short name generated on install) you will get something like:
20-01-2010 20:52 <DIR> .
20-01-2010 20:52 <DIR> ..
06-01-2011 10:30 <DIR> ACCESS~1 Access Connections
18-08-2009 14:11 <DIR> ACTIVE~1 Active Update
18-08-2009 14:19 <DIR> Dipmon
18-08-2009 14:17 <DIR> FPIRPOn
06-01-2011 10:25 <DIR> PkgMgr
25-10-2009 19:14 <DIR> SYSTEM~1 System Update
15-10-2009 15:56 11.264 TVSU_TPC.DLL
Notice the SYSTEM~1 shortname, if installed using no short names, that place will be blank.
As an update i can tell i 'fixed' the machine having problems by enabling the short name generation and renaming, then copying the "system update" catalog, thus generating the short name for it - everything works again :-)
PS: as a side notice on a machine with short names disabled and running as a user with a space in the user name TVSU will not even install, as it messes up with the space in the temp directoy (in the users home catalog)
But somebody really should fix this, as it is very normal to read in tuning guides for SSD drives (Thinkpads with SSD anyone to disable this short name generation among other things...

Jesper -
The error "Failed to locate a facet to be relocated..."
I am developing an application using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0.
My jsff file has no nested pageTemplate but still I get the error "Failed to locate a facet to be relocated. The component must have been removed from the component tree when it should not have been. Expected to find the component under component with client ID "pt1:USma:0:MAt2:0:pt1:AP1:AT1" with relative search path "_ATp:ATt1".
at oracle.adfinternal.view.faces.taglib.region.IncludeTag$RelocatedFacet.restoreFacet(IncludeTag.java:982)
at oracle.adfinternal.view.faces.taglib.region.IncludeTag.doStartTag(IncludeTag.java:199)
at oracle.jsp.runtime.tree.OracleJspBodyTagNode.executeHandler(OracleJspBodyTagNode.java:50)
In general, my applicationPanel is built in a pageTemplate. Inside the applicationPanel, I have an applicationTable comonent with id AT1. Inside its "table" facet, I have a table component with id "ATt1". The jeff file is called to open an object view in a dynamic tab in the local area. A different object will open a different tab. First time to open an object, I won't get the error. But if I switch the view between two tabs, I will get the error.
The most interesting thing is that if I remove "binding" property inside of "ATt1" table, the error will be gone. But I have to use "binding" property for other uses.
Please let me know if you have any idea on how to resolve this.
Thanks,
Weihong
Edited by: user731346 on Aug 31, 2012 3:26 PMHi,
if it is the JSF component binding then what scope is the managed bean in ? If you open the same JSf in different tabs and the binding points to request scope (or a shared scope) then the problem is that you use the same component reference twice. Use backing bean scope for the component binding bean in this case

Failed to locate project named ... in SSIS 2012 package scheduled in agent
Hi
I have 2 packages that are deployed using Project deployment model on a, the are scheduled to run every 1/2 hour, for the last 2days the have been failing with Failed to locate project named ...:A .Net framework error occurred during execution of user defined
routine or aggregate "decript_binarydata": System.IO.LoadException Could not load file or assembly.....The thing is that the package was working without issue, this seems to be a decryption issue, so I believe it is to do with Project Deployment
model, but I am not sure
Any help would be much appreciated

CRM 4, SQL Server and .Net developer using C#Hi Andy,
Based on my research, please refer to the following suggestions to fix this issue:
Change the SQL Server Service Account from built in default “NT Service\MSSQLSERVER“ to another account with admin rights on the system.
Grant appropriate permissions to SQL Server Service Account & SQL Agent Service Account.
1. Note down your SQL Server Service Account & SQL Agent Service Account.
2. Go to Start-> Run-> secpol.msc-> Local Policies->User Rights Assignment
3. Check if these 2 accounts are a part of the following policies.
• Log on as a service
• Act as part of OS
• Adjust memory quotas
• Logon as batch job
• Replace a process level token
4. If not, add them explicitly.
5. Reboot the machine
Repair the SQL Server instance to test the issue again.

I have absolutely no idea how to fix it. I've tried resetting the site, uninstalling and reinstalling the SCCM console from the SP1 media, verifying that WMI is set up correctly, reinstalling the SCCM client on my server, restarting the server... I've
got nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions? What version is the client running? Do you also have Cu1 installed, if so, did you also upgrade the clients?

WCS with location doesnt locate clients
I have WCS with location installed. From the Cisco documentation the WCS with location is suppose to provide a small set of location/mapping functions. Adding the location appliance will give you historical data.
When trying to view clients on the floor map it says that "No clients found on this floor. Either you dont have any location server which locates clients or no clients are detected."
There are several clients that are online and show up in the other search function but they arent mapped out.
Any ideas?I'm having a similar problem with WCS not displaying my client(s) on the Heatmap. I have setup a lab environment with a single 2006 controller and 2 1010 APs. I walked around the perimeter of my office space to verify roaming between controllers but WCS still doesn't display my client. When I try to reload the heatmap it says:
Loading clients..
Loaded 0 out of 0 Clients.
I have also verified that Clients are not being filtered from the view.
Any more ideas?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks! -

Co-Locate Client Access and Edge Transport Role on Same Server?
Is it possible/supported to install the Edge Transport Server Role on the same machine that the Client Access role is installed on now that 2013 SP1 has added support back in for the Edge Transport Role?
jonNo.
Unless something has radically changed from before...
EDIT
No, nothing has changed:

Essbase Administration Console error "failed to create client directory to write error file"
I am getting the following error while trying to load data using EAS v11.1.2.3
"failed to create client directory to write error file"
Any known root cause for this.Check the default error directory while loading data? The error file in 11.1.2.2 points to C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\Essbase\eas\client, which is already on the system where EAS is installed.
If the folder is not there then it is a bug, however you can change it to an existing path.

Failed to create client for Net8 Service
Using Windows 2000.
I have tried to install Oracle Forms and Reports 6i and Oracle 8i Personal Edition six times now with no success. I install Forms and Reports first. However, I am unable to get past an error when installing the Reports. The error message states "Failed to create client for Net8 Service". I get the erro about 30 seconds into the installation of Reports. Forms installs just fine.
The procedure I am using can be found at course.com using the ISBN # 0-619-03549-8 and the instructions for the 2nd edition of the "Enhanced Guide to Oracle 8i" by Morrison and Morrison for Windows 2000. This is for a class that I am taking at DeVry.
I have followed the instructions to a "T" during the installation process and also for when I uninstall the software to try it again.
Is there a simple answer to why the software can't create the Client for Net8 Service?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
