2. I moved into Linux system.(with help Winscp)
3. How to call linux server .rpd file into window machine administrator
4. How to create ODBC in linux server.
5. then How will work .rpd file in Linux server.( I have .xls file in xp machine, ODBC also in my local windows xp pc)

    When I save a report either in Crystal Reports 11 (File save as, Enterprise u2013 Central Management Server) or Central Manager Console, Objects New Object I get an error.
    On looking at the database all reports I am adding or saving are automatically taking the wrong server details, and it is a greyed out field, so I cannot edit it. I presumed it is getting this information from my ODBC settings, but appears to be using the ODBC name/description as the server name (The Database and usernames are correct). This is happening on every report!
    Any ideas what I am doing wrong? How I can save or add new reports with the correct details?
    Not sure if this will help, but the error message is:- Failed to open the connection. D:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Data\procSched\wdcsql1.reportjobserver\~tmp117852b044ee296.rpt

    No, Crystal Reports in not installed on the server, and the ODBC settings are not setup on the server. However I did add the correct ODBC settings on the server but this has made no difference.
    So do I need to setup all the ODBC settings in advance of anyone saving a report (I will need to try and find obtain them all)?
    Should the server also have a version of Crystal Reports on it?
    One report is working but it was added by the guy that installed it, and this report is using the same database as all the reports that I have added, and should be the same ODBC settings.
    The server (server username) does not have access to the original location of the reports, so it cannot run the reports - however when I save them to the server via enterprise or the import tool, does a version of the report get saved on the server? If so can you point me in the direction of them, so I can try and run them via the server?

    My Mail program has gone south on Leopard on my 27-month old Macbook. I can't send, even though the server details are correct. I tried reinstalling the Mail program from the install DVD, but no go; apparently that two-year old Mail is no longer compatible with my up-to-date Leopard. I tried deleting the account (hotmail) from Mail and setting up a different account (Yahoo). After loading all the inbox two things happened: first, I still couldn't send, and second, when I closed the Mail window the whole inbox then disappeared and doesn't come back. Although I couldn't reinstall the Mail program from the install DVD, would it still be possible to reinstall the whole system from that DVD? If I do, will I lose files or will there be another problem since that DVD is now over two years old?
    Thanks for any suggestions; they will be much appreciated.
    P.S. I've just noticed that now I can't change the desktop picture: I go through the motions in Preferences, but the new picture doesn't appear on the desktop. Is there a systemic problem?

    You are waiting for an apology to something that happened over a year ago? Really? This is why there is a manager in the store. You have a problem with an employee you speak to the manager. Just like you did on the phone. You would have gotten your apology in July 2013.

    It is because when you have a problem you (customers) go running to the store and want to take up the time of the reps to fix it. Other carriers have third parties that deal with technical support and those locations are few and far between. VZW provides this directly through their stores. Also, when you subsidize a $650 and pay $200 VZW has to pay $400. Your monthly service fee doesn't begin to scratch the surface of paying that back. Not with all the money that is put into the network and its improvements.
    Then over a year later you get someone on the phone who apologized and offered to waive the fee on your phone and you didn't take it? That offer won't come down the pike again.
    One thing you should know is that all these employees are people and as such they sometimes come off cross. I doubt that you speak to everyone so sweetly all the time. Cut them a little slack and put this whole thing behind you after 15 months. Either upgrade with VZW or move on.

    where as Domain name and admin port and host are default as i did in the same for domain name,admin port,host...i gave the Admin user,Admin password..fields after that when i click on Managed server dropdown menu i am getting following error:"Cannot connect server".I checked with managed server and admin server both are running only but still am facing problem...
    So,Please can any one helpme to find the solution for my problem..It is very essential.

    If it is ABAP stack, you can get by system-->status
    If java stack, then you can get by URL http://<fully qualified hostname>:5<nn>00
    where nn is the instance number.

  • Managed Server not populating while installation in SOA server detail

    I am facing an issue in installation of AIA. In the screen SOA server detail, managed server is not populating in dropdown option. I have installed Weblogic middle ware fusion in which admin server and managed server is running. Both are configured for by own machine and clustering is not done
    I want to know these things.
    1) Is there any problem with weblogic installation or configuration. Managed server and admin server is running fine
    2) Do i need to configure node management to map admin server and managed server in fusion middleware?
    3) Is there any compatibility mode issue? I am running the setup as administrator in window 7 OS for 32bit windows

    Check for the following in your target soa server:
    1. SOA components are correctly deployed.
    2. soa-infra deployment is running and healthy.
    3. node manager is able to start and stop the managed server properly.

    There are errors  in component monitor and i have expanaded the node ands checked the errors that are as follows,
    Component Monitor  -->  Services --> scheduler -->  attachmentscheduler startup failed  :
    Configuration Error:  No CM system assigned to this task
    Component Monitor  -->  Services > reporting> Startup Error:  exception in startup: Invalid RID: No repository manager found for prefix: /reporting
    Component Monitor  --> Repository Managers > reporting> startup failed
    Component Monitor   --> Repository Managers >taxonomy> Startup Error:  taxonomy manager: start failed
    We had assigned one server node to Scheduler Tasks.
    Still there is same error.

    It seems a network issue.
    You should check you have the proper network access to Lync Edge Server as Lync Edge Server is not in the same subnet of Lync Front End Server.

  • Information about linked server details including remote login in use

    After joining a new organization, one day an application support came to ask brief information about all the SQL Server linked servers and few more important configuration details.
    They were looking to upgrade their application and database. In order to know all possible sources of their data feed, the guy needed this information.
    Most of the information could have been taken by running
    sp_linkedservers but because login information was also required I preferred to run following query to collect the required data.

    Although they got the information, but they could not recognize the actual server names as highlighted in the
    srv_data_source column. All they said that, the linked servers were created by DBAs.
    I tried to ping these names from my user desktop, but could not Ping request could not find host.
    Tried to check the SQL Server Aliases but there were no alias defined for any of the server names.
    Finally I looked into the host file and found the entries. The ping from my desktop did not work because the host file entries are local to the database server. Because SQL Server instance is sitting on the same server where the
    names are entered into the host file, it was able to resolve the host names. Also Ping from the database server worked. The host file looked like as below (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)

  • Add Proxy server details to File Adapter

    On my current project, we are integrating SAP ECC to SAP Sourcing using standard integration.  Nice and simple, however the SAP Sourcing system is set up in a separate network. 
    Unfortunately we need to get out over the internet and the technical team insist we have to go via the proxy server.
    is there a way to add the proxy server and connection details within the FTP adapter?   has anyone done this before?

    You need to chose another way, like trusted networking.
    An alternative idea, is to use a shell script from your PI OS. Get File, Put file into a PI OS directory (with nfs, for example), and run a shell script like follow (for send file to destination server):

    I tested this scenario in my TFS Server and received the same result. But the
    CatalogResourceTypes.ProjectCollection and
    CatalogResourceTypes.TeamProject can working fine to show the collection and team project details. It seems that
    ReadOnlyCollection<CatalogNode> tpcNodes = configurationServerNode.QueryChildren()
    cannot return the server level configuration information.

  • Server details not showing in ST06/OS06

    Hi All,
    we are having  one PRD and 4 application server as app1 -app4 , when v hit ST06/OS06 -> Detail analysis menu -> Compare all servers, it show only 3 servers ie App1 app2 & app4. where as app4 is not showing. i checked SAPOSCOL its running .
    Kindly suggest wat would be the problem.

    Check the saposcol service and see the path where it is getting the saposcol.exe file. Also do check whether it is not located at 2 different directories.
    Stop the service and make sure the updated version is in the correct path then restart the service.
    Also--go into your Widows services and check the path to executable for your SAPOSCOL service. stop it and update SAPOSCOL.exe from the kernel directory to the saposcol directory where the service runs
    Also have you scheduled the background job COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFORMANCEMONITOR
    this job should be scheduled on hourly basis... do it in SM37 from client 000 ?
