Billed for things I didn't buy

Hello,
I was billed for several apps (all the same one) 10 times through my payPal account.  I didn't even look at the Itunes store on the dates it happen.  How do I get the charges reversed?  I can't find a phone number to the Itunes store or get past an automated system at Itunes to talk to a person.  I disputed the charges with PayPal for what ever good that will do.  I also changes my password and canceled my paypal billing at the Itunes store.
Any suggestions?

You're going to have to talk to Apple Customer Service and PayPal about this. It's been happening a lot for some reason, especially with Lion. But Apple is being understanding and returning the money with most of those problems.

    Today i log onto itunes and check for purchases. Next thing i know its downloading more then i purchased and charging for money for things i didn't buy.

    If you believe that your account has been hacked, then change your password, alert your credit card company and discuss reimbursement with them, then let itunes support know that your account may have been hacked.

    so i went into itunes and i just bought a song and it started downloading, but then an error screen came up and i had to close itunes. when i re-opened itunes i went in and looked for the song but it wasn't in my library. then i went into my itunes account and it said that i was already billed for it. so i went into check for purchases and it said i got my song but i didn't. Ever since then i keep getting billed for things but the purchases are no where in sight.... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

    I was billed for something I didn't order.  I tried the "report a problem" but nothing happened.  Any suggestions as to who I call?  I would like to talk to someone in person but can't figure out where to call from the website.  Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    i had that happen to me you me you contact apple and they should be able to help you soon. you can try by changing your password (if you go to itunes change password)

    That sounds like an idea.I've had trouble with Verizon a lot .I I switch ed back to a non andriod phone cause of the expense it took 3 months and at least that many hours of phone calls &store visits to straight in it out...there's been many times things are blocked and a month later its back on the bill,u call and are told they can't do anything ...not there problem, can't b fixed from there end,I asked to talk to a sup. At was told I couldn't then she said I'd b told the same thing I insisted...I was on hold for about 20 minutes I hung up tried to call back they would not answer, I called my daughter had her call they answered when she told them they tried to blow her off too, so she went down to a store and made a complaint.. I don't have a store in our town,the customer should not have Togo through all that trouble some of this is down right criminal... I'm going through more problems again....they won't Evan discuss it with me unless I pay what's owed and the amount has still got the internet fees they've never taken off.

  • Billed for something we didn't order and lied to.

    I've had my fair share of issues in the past with BT and so its no surprise I'm having problems yet again.
    I'll split this into 2 issues relevant to billing etc.
    #1
    The first is the issue of BT Sport HD.
    I never ordered this service. Why would I? - There is no television box in the house that is HD compatible.. so it would be illogical to order something that we can't possibly recieved. What I think may have happened is that when our contract was renewed someone from BT must have selected the HD option aswell, however as I can only access my bills to a certain point I cannot even look at this possibility.
    And yet I'm being told by some unhelpful member of BT staff that it doesn't matter if I ordered it or not or whether I can actually use it - if its on the Bill and they are 'providing' it they can charge for it. They also argued that why didn't we cancel it when we saw it on our bill. The simple answer is that because it was only a £3 charge we didn't notice the abnormality to the bill and it was only in december when I was checking through the details of one bill that it was noticed. At that point I emailed BT to ask for it to be cancelled and I expected that to be the end of it.... however 6 months later this is clearly not the case.
    #2 - lied to.
    The second issue is that of a missed engineers appointment in December 2014. At the time I was annoyed about them missing the appointment and fairly asked for compensation; however I was told at the time that the only thing they could do was re-arrange the appointment and that compensation was not an option.
    However I have subsequently found out that this was infact a lie and that the customer service guarentee explicitly states if an appointment is missed that we are able to claim... however I'm now being told there was a 120 day period by which I had to respond.... classic BT.
    It is safe to say we are not happy bunnies, and that the treatment we have recieved is appalling. I have had past experience with the Mods on these forums, so I'm once again turning to them for help as they seem to be alot better than the people on the telephones.

    Sorry that the BT Sport HD pack has been added to your account without your consent and that you feel your were lied to when trying to seek compensation for the missed engineer's appointment in December.
    Under the guidelines of the customer service guarantee scheme (CSGS), you're entitled to £10 per missed appointment.  You can view more info about CSGS here - Customer service guarantee scheme

  • I have been billed for services I did not buy or I did not fully understand that how I would be billed.

    I have been billed some USD 5,000 worth of credit card bill. It was by itune app's. Most are because of my son's games, which I was thought it was $.99 a piece, but before I know it, I have chalked up thousands of dollar in credit card. I cannot believe it.
    I have a very different understanding of what update means. I thought update was free, because I already pay for the original app. It turns out the update is sometimes $10.00, without me knowing. I also found out app that I have already deleted still charge me by the monthly basis.
    This is getting out of hand. I have to make a report but I did not know how. I felt I was sucked into a hole by iPad. iPad is a good device, but this model has been absued. Consumers should not be punished by all these merchants.

    Login to your iTunes Account/Purchase History/See All/Click the arrow next to the purchase in question/Report a Problem

    Apple only makes/sells a few apps like iWork. Other apps like games, instagram, whatsapp are made by private developers, and are just sold by Apple.

    Did you buy anything from the App Store? All of those stores are connected to the iTunes Store so that's probably why you got something that said iTunes on it.
    If you bought an app, for example, that was $30 you'll probably see "iTunes Store" on the receipt.
