Billing document enhancement

I have to add three new items in the "Billing document's" table control. The data from the table control in Tcode VF01 is written into the table VBRP. All the three fields are customer created fields, They have no previous data at all. But all the new details that are going to be created must be recorded in the table from now on. So we have to create these fields in the table too. All the Tcode for billing document VF01(Create), VF02(Change), VF03(Display) Should be updated to the same. How am i suppose to do it both on the screen and the table... If it relates to enhancement plz tell me the steps i need to follow.

    If you want to add a import field u need to have a acess key.
    Else
    you need to copy the function module and needs to implement your own Z F/M  fields are to be inserted.
    After insertion go to T-code SWO1 and place BUS2037 then add ur z funtion module in BAPI: Billing Document

  • Enhancement - Accounting Document from Billing Document - change line items

    Hi Experts,
           Our client has a requirement to display all line items(as shown in Billing document) along with the tax line in the Accounting document. I can explain it as below:
          In VF01 transaction code: enter the delivery number.
          Press enter to see the number of line items that will be populated in the Billing document.
          Click on save.
          Here in the Accounting Doc you'll find only 2 line items, one line item is the consolidation of WRBTR and quatity of all the line items in the Billing Document and the other line item is the tax.
          We are required to replace the consolidated line item in the Account Doc with all the actual lines as populated in the Billing Document.
          For this we tried various methods:
                 Searched for a BAPI - couldnt find any which will help in modifying the line items before creation of Account Doc
                 Checked UserExits - Found one SDVFX008 but it didnt have the table which is sent for population of Accounting doc hence there was no way we could modify any table to get the desired output.
                 Searched the VF01 Flow in Debugger to check when the Accounting Doc is updated, but it also didnt yield any fruits.
          Kindly please guide on a way this can be accomplished. Appreciate the help from you all...

    I think that your requirement is related with summarization of items in the FI doc for the billing document. Please, see SAP Note 36353 - AC interface: Summarizing FI documents. See also Note 301077 - User exits for the interface to accounting.

    kindly help me following client requirement
    in order to cash (domestic & Exports)
    and sto (intra and Inter plant to plant) scenarios the billing document number and excise invoices number should trigger  same number

    As per the standard it is not possible. But some times client says why two different numbers ranges we require same numbers ranges for both billing doc. & Excise invoice.

    Also check with the Abaper with explicit enhancement by maintaining the number range values in Custom table where we go when ever there is no option for(if client is not convincing) but which is not reccomandable but left out with no choice when client is demanding.

  • Hiding the cost column in Billing document

    Hi,
    We have a requirement to hide the COST column in transaction VF01, VF02; VF03.Please let me know if any body has any clues.
    In the current system there are two companies.
    Company 1 Users should not see cost; Company 2 Users has to see the cost.
    I have two options:
    Option One:
    We can hide the cost column by changing the screen variant.
    Impact:
    This is hiding total system so that both the users can not see the cost .
    This is not accepting by IT team.
    Option two:
    We can define new transaction copy of VF01, VF02, and VF03. (Transaction Variant)
    That will be ZVF01, ZVF02, and ZVF03.For this new transaction we can create a screen variant to hide the cost Authorization to assess of VF01, VF02 and VF03 will be removed to Company 1 users.
    Impact:
    If we remove the authorization to VF03 to customer service people.
    Through document flow customer service user cannot see billing document. They need to enter ZVF03 to see billing document.
    This solution is not accepting by Business (Customer service).
    It will be great full if someone can through some light on this.

    We had applied EHP3 enhancement, before EHP3 is working fine with no transfer sign assignment but after EHP 3 it gives the error and not in all billing document but in particular document only. so i think there is no changes required in KE4I.

  • Cost Center Error Message in Posting a Billing Document to Accounting

    Hi Experts,
    I am in process of testing my form enhancement for Billing Documents especially Debit Note and Credit Notes. However, when I post my Billing Documents in VF02, this status message appears:
    "Field Cost Ctr is a required field for G/L account 2100 855020".
    Now I already checked the configuration in FS00, VKOA and we want the cost center field filled-up in the process but automatically. Do I missed some of my configuration to maintain also the Cost Center? What transaction code should I check and maintain the Cost Center for this scenario.

    The value for field "Cost Ctr" in the interface to Financial Accounting is an initial value but you are required to make an entry in the field selection for G/L account "855020" in company code "2100" linked to the field selection for posting key "50".

    It might be an error in the configuration of the G/L account field selection. The initial application, used to call up the interface must otherwise define a value for field "Cost Ctr". If this is the case, contact the consultant responsible for the application used to call up the interface or get in contact with SAP directly.

    There may be several reasons...
    1. If u have enhanced the tcode with some z tables,and that might not be moved properly to prod or not active in data dictonary.
    2. u may not be entering proper data to the input fields.
    3. please check if u have added any z tables to the std tcode.I am exepcting this prob.u may not moved the table or enhancement properly to prod server,

  • Billing document to COPA partially

    I would like to make some billing documents generating FI and COPA document, and some would generate FI document only.
    Does anyone know
    1) Is it possible in SAP by seperate different billing type or etc.
    2) how does SAP determinate to generate COPA document or not.

    Hi,
    Check SAP note # 20254, on prerequisites for value flow to CO-PA from SD.
    Cost element has to be either '11' or '12' to transfer values to CO-PA from SD. However, it is possible to stop posting to CO-PA for certain documents using CO-PA enhancements.
    Try using KE4S transaction in 'Test mode' to understand what the issue is.

  • Field FKSTA- Billing status of delivery-related billing documents not getting updated

    Hi Experts,
    I have a requirement wherein I need to fetch the FKSTA - Billing status of delivery-related billing documents into the datasource 2lis_11_VASTI. I have checked a lot of threads on this topic but have not found a concrete solution yet.
    I have checked the settings in vov7 and vov8 and everything seems to be in place. I have also checked in table VBUP, when I filter based on field FKSTA = 'C', it shows me the outbound delivery document nos. But when I use the related sales document, it shows me blank values. VBUK as well doesn't show any values for field FKSTK.
    I would like to know how and where I can identify the 'billing status of delivery- related' document.
    I can see in VBUP table that if I enter the sales document no. related to the delivery document, it does not show the correct status.  I believe that the statuses should ideally get updated to the underlying VBUK and VBUP tables. Is there any way to update and align them?
    Is there a workaround, a similar field that i can use for datasource enhancement that will give me the correct values?
    Appreciate any help I can get on this as it is urgent.

    You are correct that stauts is updated in table VBUK and VBUP.
    However, a sales order does not determine a billing status for delivery related billing, field
    VBUP-FKSTA is only determined for delivey.
    So, it is correct behavior that VBUP-FKSTA = BLANK when searching VBUP with
    VBUP-VBELN = sales order number.
    Just because of above reason, you will not find billing status field in VA03 -> goto header/item;
    you could only find billing status field for delivery in VL03N -> status overview.
    It seems that you are trying to find out sales orders that have been fully deliveried and fully billed, am I right? As far as I know, there is no directly table/field/tcode that could meet your requirement.
    You could consider following workaround:
    firstly, get a list of deliveries that have been fully billied(search VBUP with VBUP-FKSTA = C or search VBUK with VBUK-FKSTK = C);
    Secondly, using these deliveries to search table VBFA to find out related sales orders.

    I read somewhere that one of the functionality in EHP3 is we can create sales document like debit memo request and credit memo request from the archived billing document. I am working on EHP3 system only but i am not able to create the sales document. the system throws an error that billing document doesnt exist
    If any one of you have worked on such functionality kindly suggest me why its not happening here also let me know Is ther any customization required for the execution of this functionality in spro.

    For rebate processing, you can store your company's check logic in the interface of the Business Add-In (BAdI) Enhancements for Rebate Processing.
    So check if you have activated the business function.

    This issue is related to third party scenario. The basic requirement is to create to a billing document with a creation date same as
    Good issue date of Sales Order.
    For your information, with the help of enhacement we have passed on the value of posting date of material document generated
    from MIGO to Goods issue date in Sales Order. I am very much aware that setting up a new copying routine would help me but
    relating the GI date field of Sales Order from the techincal point of view is a complete work stopper. Could anyone throw light on
    the workaround for mapping this case ???

    But i would like to say that the billing relevance of the item category has to "B" as this process of Third part Sales talks about creation of billing document after the MIGO. And i am basically interested to Populated the posting date of MIGO for Biling creation date. 
    In Sales Order, the GI date is modified to Posting date of MIGO through enhancement. I have been looking around relevant tables to fetch the GI date of Sales Order but not getting the right track...
    Could anyone provide any other workaround to implement this sort of requirement ???

  • Mapping of CRM  Billing Document to GTS within Service Parts Management

    We are currently implementing Service Parts Management with GTS.
    We would like to map certain fields coming from CRM Billing to the GTS Customs Document.
    Does anyone know which BADI/user exit can be used to complete this mapping.
    We have seen that to be able to transfer billing documents to GTS we need to activate Service Parts Management.
    Further, how can we get the values for these fields into the customs documents , once these are mapped.
    Which BADI, structures, tables are used for this?
    Does anyone have a sort of data structuring model for the different fields in the customs document , on header and item level.
    How fields are triggered. This could be very useful to have this kind of documentation for doing enhancements etc...
    Now we are struggling with structures.

    The key tables for the customs document are:
    /SAPSLL/CUHD (header)
    /SAPSLL/CUIT (item)
    /SAPSLL/CORPAR (partners)
    You can find additional tables in SE16 by search for table names that start with /SAPSLL/CU* or /SAPSLL/COR*
    Unfortunately, I am not sure about the BAdi for document transfer from CRM but the available BAdi's should be listed in the IMG in CRM similar to ECC.
