BOFC: Consolidated Amounts always will be splittet?

Hi Experts,
I have the following issue in my BOFC Consolidation which is built up by rules. Deletion of accounts will be not mentioned here. This issue is just a little case:
Step 1: Take amount from account consolidated participations (dimensional analysis: partner), Audit ID 0PCK01 and write this amount on difference account 1 on Audit ID INVEST10.
Step 2: Take amount from account retained earnings (no dimensional analysis), Audit ID 0PCK01 and write this amount on difference account 1 on Audit ID INVEST10
Step 3: Take whole amount from account difference account 1, Audit ID INVEST10. If this amount is positive, write the whole amount (sum on difference account 1) on account goodwill, Audit ID INVEST11. If the amount is negative, write the whole amount (sum on difference account 1) on account badwill, Aufit ID INVEST11.
I 've tried some days with in my opinion logical possibilities. Dimensional analysis, Thereshold with + oder - signs or different possibilities of creating rules... Always are two amounts (from the first two steps) shown in my schedule. I want to have just the balance of the difference account 1 (which is shown correct on difference account) booked in balance sheet back.
It would be nice if somebody has any hint for me and my consolidation!
Cheers
Udo

  • 1099-MISC nonemployee compensation amount always zero in lower part

    Hi,
When I m trying to execute withholding tax report S_P9C_18000158 ( for 1099-MISC ) for multiple vendor account, the form is not printing Nonemployee compensation for vendor who are getting printed in lower half of form. The same is getting printed for all vendor in upper half.
Rest all data are getting printed properly in both half.
The nonemployee compensation amount always shows zero in lower half.
I doubt if we need some notes or any settings? any inputs would be appreciable
    Thanks
    Pankaj

    Hi Praveen,
Thanks a lot for the input.
Yes I tried downloading the file and the amount shows correctly for both upper and lower part.
Infact I have already checked sapscript form and found in std program the amount in lower form is assigned to bset-fwbase field and sapscript forms prints the value
in field *bset-fwbase. so its only changing the assignment in td prg.
But before doing the repair ...I just wanted to know if there is some notes provided for this so that we dont have to touch std code..
let me know if u r aware of any...
    Thanks

  • How can I indicate in a vendor a total amount invoice will be paid partiall

    Hello Friends,
I'd appreciate very much you could indicate me how can I indicate in a vendor a total amount invoice will be paid partially in 12 months. I mean that for example, we have an invoice for 12000 Eur and the payment should be made 1200 Eur every month during a year.
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Kind regards,

    Hi Shantanu,
Installment Payment terms can be configured in OBB8 and OBB9 and that is the perfect solution to cater to this requirement.
    BUT
What I understand from your question it looks like Prepaid Expenses scenario.. Also think of Recurring entry if you do not want to create a Vendor Invoice liability in one go..

  • BPC - Consolidation - Data Loading - Will BS/PL accounts data ONLY be loaded from ECC?

    Dear All,
In BPC, when we load data from ECC for Consolidation, my understanding is that we load only BS and PL accounts' data for/by the entity.
Apart from BS and PL data, will there be any data that will have to be loaded into BPC for consolidation?
The following three financial statements -
    -Statement of Cash Flow
    -Statement of Changes in Equity
    -Statement of Comprehensive Income
are actually derived/calculated from the loaded BS and PL data. This is my understanding. Pls. correct me if I am wrong.
    Thank you!
    Regards,
    Peri

    Hi Peri,
Balance sheet, PL and those three financial statements are derived from BS/ PL accounts, however, there should also be "flow" information.  Otherwise you won't end up with a correct consolidated cash flow or equity movement. ( or you can prefer to enter flow detail manually)
Second thing is, while getting BS & PL accounts, you will also need trading partner detail, otherwise you won't be able to do the eliminations. (or you can prefer to manually enter trading partner detail for intercompany accounts)
Thirdly, you should also consider other disclosures. (Depending on what standart you are implementing - IFRS, US GAAP, Local Gaap whatever...)
    Hope this gives an idea.
    Mehmet.

  • Depreciation for past periods

    Hi Friends,
Please help me on below motioned problem.
Depreciation has be run till jun 2006.  Now we have some new assets which was created with past dates. I need to run depreciation for these assets from jan 2005-jun2006.
One possible solution is repeat asset run for selected assets. but this is a consolidated amount and will not show monthly break up.
Is there any process to do this.
    Thanks and Regards
    Udupa

    Hi,
As you said, the normal way to do it is to post a repeat run as cummulated value in June 2006.
But if in case you still need to allocate on monthly basis, you can use t-code ABF1 to manually adjust the 6 months difference.
First, run the repeat run as of June, display the document as reference, manually reverse the journal via ABF1 (pk 40 reverse to 50,Pk 75 to 70, transaction type 501 to 101 or 105). Second, post 6 journal to allocate the expense from january to june.
    Hope it helps.

  • Consolidation package multiply the amounts introduce on group currency

    Dear Experts,
When we run the Consolidation Package twice, consolidation amounts
on consolidation group are multiplied base on the number of groups each
    entity belong to.
We modified the DataSrc property IS_CONVERTED as a previous post suggests
then everything looks ok but the amounts introduced on Group Currency.
Parameterization for the data sources used for group currency manual
    adjustments is:
    - DataSrc Type: M
    - IS_CONSOL: Y
    - IS_CONVERTED: G
We tried to modify the property IS_CONVERTED to u201CYu201D, the amounts are
erased because nothing is posted on LC, as expected. If we change the
property to u201CNu201D, the amounts are not copied to the Group, it means no
    consolidated.
Any solution? It only happens with the amounts introduced on Group Currency, but at consolidated level, I mean the amount on group currency remains ok, but consolidated value for this amounts it duplicated, any idea why? Someone indentiy any lack on the parametrization?
    Thank and regards,
    Iria

    Hi again,
To limit the problem, the multiplied amounts are the ones introduced on Group Currency only. But the problem doesn't have any relation with the Currency Conversion, because it is done perfectly.
As a work around, we are deleting all the consolidated figures before run the Automatic Adjustments again, but the performances is not sustainable (more than 1 hour).
    Thanks and regards,
    Iria

  • Consolidation of Investment Issue  --- Please Help!!!

    Hi,
Why after running Consolidation of investments from Consolidation Monitor, do I get 1 additional record as highlighted in picture below. We should get only one elimination record instead of 2.
The 3rd record is the actual record but after running consolidation monitor, SAP is generating the first two records. Why is it generating the 1st record?
    Please help me!!!
    Regards,
    Nicky

    Hi Nicky
The basic principle of Consolidation process  as per below principles:
    1. Reported Financial Data in LC(Local Currency)  at G_NONE  level should be ZERO otherwise Balance Sheet will not be  BALANCED
    Ex:
    2. After Currency Conversion( LC to GC)  the Trail Balance/Balance Sheet should be balanced in Group Currency(GC) at G_NONE level
    3. After Consolidation Process BPC will generate or replicate your Data Load/Adjustments into Specific Group Level i.e. GROUP1  based on your Group Dimension.
a>.  Make sure Balance Sheet is Balanced at GROUP1 level after Elimination
b>.Account   SAP_ECC GROUP1    Dollar Amount > This your original Transaction
           from SAP
    Elimination Record:
       c>.Account  ELIM GROUP1   Dollar Amount ( '+'OR '-'  Revers sign
           based on SAP Transaction -SAP_ECC)
Note: What ever you have from screen is working as per Configuration. Only thing is to make sure you have Offset Account for Elimination of Investments. Otherwise " BALANCE SHEET is not going to be BALANCED"
Hope this will give you the Idea about Consolidation Process before and After.
    Thanks

  • ITunes showing incorrect amount of music on iPhone 6

Just upgraded to iPhone 6. Brought new phone home and restored from iTunes backup.  Of course, music/playlist in not included in restore yet, in iTunes, my new iPhone shows same amount of songs of original iPhone 4s (733 songs, 3.1 GBs.) However, new iPhone actually only has 11 songs! When checking capacity on actual iPhone 6, (Settings>General>About>Available) the device shows having 8.1 GB of available space and 11 songs.  What gives?  Note: I manually manage music and videos on my devices with iTunes. Always have, always will.  Any help would be gratefully appreciated!  Thanks!
    iTunes version: 11.4
    iPhone 6, OS: 8.0.2
iMac Build 10K549, OS Version: 10.6.8

In case anyone else finds this post with a similar problem.. I found a solution. (posted by a user named txforever)
Manually change the date back several months (or years if need be) and then go in to your Recently Deleted Photos folder. Don't be fooled by it telling you there are 0 photos. If you actually open it up, suddenly you will find all the old photos that should've been deleted but never were.
I emptied it and my problem is solved.
    Hooray!
I feel like Apple should issue this as a known solution to this bug that a lot of people seem to be having. And also, they should fix the bug of course.

  • Consolidated Payment to Vendors

    Hi all,
We have a scenario, where in our client issues  cheque for a consolidated amount to the Bankers for payment to vendors. The Bankers in turn will issue different DD's to the vendors.
I shall explain this with an example:
The client issues a single cheque for Rs.200000/- to the Bank for payment to 5 vendors @ Rs.40000/- each. The Bank in turn will issue 5 DD's to these vendors.
Please advice me as to how to accomodate this scenario in SAP?
    Thanks,
    Sajan C P

    Hi,
    Use Tcode F-53.
Process bank detail with consolidated figure and if any bank charges AND specify the vendor 1 Account
    Step 1
click the push button "PROCESS OPEN ITEM"
    step 2.
    go back without selecting anything
    Step 3
click the push button "CHOOSE OPEN ITEM"
    Specify the vendor 2 Account
then similarly follow the step 2 and step 3 specifying the vendor 3,4,5 account
Now all the vendor account will get accumulated in the process open item.
find / sort list the required document number and clear it off
    Step 4
    Simulate & POST
pls revert back, if any further quires you have

  • Difference SEM-BCS and BO PLanning & Consolidation

    Hi all,
as announced in the subject. I was wondering what the difference between SEM-BCS and BO Planning & Consolidation is(so referring to the consolidation part)?
Is BO Planning & Consolidation = BO Planning + SEM BCS
    Looking forward to your ideas!
    Best regards
    Hagen

    Hi Collet,
Sorry I have no time to make a full-fledged comparison SEM-BCS and SAP BPC as you asked.
Regarding your last link: very interesting information. Thank you very much.
    The citation from the article:
    Known Limitations
In SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation (BPC), organizations (i.e. entities and groups/consolidation scopes) car vary according to Category and Time. However, all the other dimensions are static, which means they have neither category nor time dependency. As a result, the model presented here will use static Profit Center and Intercompany Profit Center dimensions.
Eliminations (so called Automatic Adjustments in BPC) are primarily driven by Legal Entity and Intercompany dimensions. As a result, when it comes to Matrix Consolidation, each elimination will still occur based on this fact. So, basically, an elimination is triggered if both an Entity and the Intercompany entity are being consolidated under the same node (i.e. Group or Consolidation scope). In other words, BPC does not evaluate as such the Profit Center and Intercompany Profit Center dimensions when it comes to performing eliminations. Amounts will be eliminated based on the Legal Entity view. However, it is possible to analyze and group eliminations by Profit Center later on. As a result, Matrix consolidation will heavily leverage the reporting/filtering capabilities of the product.
I'm afraid that in SEM-BCS' sense the Matrix consolidation has much more deep meaning than that presented here.

  • Consolidation BP error

    Dear ALL,
the below mention problem  i am facing, when is make payment in AP invoice
The consolidating BP behind one or more of the selected invoices is differenct from the current consolidating BP,
pls give me a premenent solution for this
    regards
    S Arunprasad

    Dear,
When the system message 'The consolidating BP behind one or more of the selected transactions is different from the current consolidating BP [Message 3524-83]' is displayed, it implies that one of the documents chosen in the incoming payment is not connected to the parent BP.
That is to say, one of the JE from the selected documents has the child BP code. Another JE from the selected documents has the parent BP code.
In the case that a credit note/invoice was added before the BP was consolidated to a parent, then it will not be possible to offset/pay these documents using the child BP code in the Incoming Payment. Once the BP is consolidated, its payments will always be made to its parent BP.
Details please refer to note [1339843.|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=0001339843&languE=]
We are sorry to say that according to current system definition, it no not possible to post the payment by the chile BP with current consolidation BP.
You have to release consolidating BP temporaly in order to add outgoing payment.
Wish the information above is helpful for you.

  • Consolidation Rules Formulas

    Dear Expert,
When I saw the consolidation example in Appshell Appset and I review the business rule "Consolidation Rules Formulas". That business rule contains the fields like as: Rule ID, Entity Method, Intco Method, All Formula, Group Formula, Minority Formula, and Remark. I just know that the field "Entity Method" and "Intco Method" contains the method code from the business rule "Consolidation Methods".
I have the questions like as:
    1. We can input the field "Entity Method" and "Intco Method" only one code or the sequence of code in the business rule "Consolidation Rules Formulas". What is the different that we input one code with the several code ?
    2. What is the uses of the field "All Formula", "Group Formula", "Minority Formula" ?
Thank you very much for your answer and I really appreciate it.
    Best Regards,

I am very hesitant to agree that merging the Method Based Multipliers will give the same result as keeping them separate, in the IFRS starter kit.
As an example, how will you be able to develop an Elimination and Adjustment Rule that targets Newly Acquired companies and differentiate them from existing companies, in addition to treatment of mergers.
These methods (Leaving, Merger, Step Acquisition, Newly Acquired Purchase and Newly Acquired Equity) are distinguished in the method ID, then grouped through Method Based Multipliers. NOT for the purpose of the equation only (ALL FORMULA, GROUP and MINORITY), but also since the Elimination and Adjustment Rule does not have an Entity Field or Method Field, it has METHOD Multiplier.
To explain, Line one of the Method Based Multiplier addresses Existing Companies that have intercompany values with Existing Companies. Line two addresses Existing Companies that have intercompany values with newly Acquired companies, leaving, merged and so on.
Line three addresses newly acquired companies, leaving and so on with existing companies. and line four, newly acquired, leaving, ect... with newly acquired, leaving, ect...
Now the question is, how will you develop an elimination and adjustment rule that targets newly acquired companies, moves the data from F00 to F01, under the Audit_ID INPUT11, for the consoscope and the same month, then conduct the elimination. Or divested to be moved to F98, in addition to other flow/AUDIT_ID treatment. These are different than Existing companies that will not need to be moved from F00 to F01....
To add to it, how will you be able to differentiate in your ELIM and ADJUST Rules between:
    All entities but Leaving
    All but leaving, divested Interco
    Newly Divested
    Step Acquisition
    Step Divestment
These methods cannot be grouped in the same method multipliers of the existing companies, as the ELIM and ADJUST rules have their field limitations and run on "Entity Group" as per Ownership Model. Thus the need to have these multiple Method Multipliers, despite having the same ALL_FORMULA, GROUP and MINORITY.
As for ALL_FORMULA, it is usually 1. which means automatically -1. this is to eliminate mainly the amount.
Group formula and minority formula are both referenced in the method multiplier (PCON, PCON-POWN, POWN, ect...) and dictate the amounts that will be posted and eliminated.
Minority is used for Equity type ownership, where the holding company owns less that 50% (since proportionate is no longer used in consolidated). it targets the Retained Earning of the held company (equity owned) and eliminates the value. then it reflects the % of ownership of the RE on the
Minority Interest Account of the Held company's consolidated Balance sheet. So if the holding company owns 25% of Company A, and the NI of the held company is 100 USD, the Minority Field in the formula is dictating that only 25 USD is reflected on the Minority Interest of the consolidated company's balance sheet. Meanwhile, all formula is posting the inverse of the amounts for all accounts and group is posting yet another calculation.

  • How does RV45A-ENDBK (Total Amount) React in pricing?

Sample . Service Fee = 560 using a service material number
It must react in Net as = 500
    Tax = 60
    The acounting entry will be
    Customer AR 560
    Tax Adjustment 60
    Equity 500
                  Service Income 500
                  Tax Payable 60
                  Customer AR 560
The RV45A-ENDBK (Total Amount) always react as Zero). What should i do  if I need to show still 560 in the total amount header data? How does both Customer AR be in debit and credit.
    I can get Tax=60
    Tax Adjustment 60
    Equity 500
                  Service Income 500
                  Tax Payable 60
Unable to show RV45A-ENDBK (Total Amount) = 560

Revising the entry for debit and credit
    Customer AR 560
    Tax Adjustment 60
    Equity 500
    Service Income -500
    Tax Payable -60
    Customer AR -560

Edited by: K. Raghuram on May 19, 2009 1:02 PM

    Hi Raghuram,
I think, the only possiblity for this to happen is due to the standard Price in the Mterial Mater you are using.
Means in the Material Master ,the Price key is a standard pricing.
So ,when ever you do a GRN ,the PO value will go and hit the Material account upto to the Standard price maintained in the material Master.
if the amount is more than it ,then amount difference will hit the Price variance account.
so in your case ,the CST is inventorised one ,i believe.. so that is the reason it is behaving so.
if there is somethig else required.provide a clear insight of the Problem.
    Regards
