Borderless button THAT HIGHLIGHTS

Question

I have a JButton with an image on it and some text. I don't want this button to have a border painted...but I DO want it to highlight when it's pressed. I see the thread [http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?messageID=2746046] but this doesn't make the button highlight when pressed. Is this possible?
