Bought an album, but says my PC isn't connected?

Question

I bought an album today through the iTunes store and it downloaded the entire thing. I go to play the album and it says I'm not connected to the internet, which I clearly am. I tried burning the album to a disc and it won't let me because it says the songs are not authorized to be burned to a file/disc.
If I go on my other computer, I'm going to have to buy the album all over again, aren't I? I'm not dishing out more money especially if I don't know that it's going to work.
HP Pavilion dv6000   Windows XP   I actually have Vista.

If you're using vista make sure that you update to iTunes 7.1.1
on Apple's site they have this article about vista

If you are upgrading from Windows XP or 2000 to Windows Vista prior to the next release of iTunes, here are a few steps that will improve your experience when syncing your iPod or playing iTunes Store purchases once upgraded to Windows Vista.
Deauthorize all iTunes Store accounts.
Perform a clean install of Windows Vista (highly recommended but not required).
Upgrade to iTunes 7.1.1 or repair iTunes using the iTunes installer if version 7.1.1 is already installed.
Open iTunes.
Choose Authorize Computer from the Store menu in iTunes.
You might have to do step number 2: repair itunes.
