Bought Moutain Lion but never saw a download. Already charged my bank account but no where on my Mac

I bought Mountain Lion and when I clicked done to submit my payment information the download never began. I don't even see it on my computer. When I pull it up on iTunes it still wants me to pay, but it has already charged my bank account

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
Open the App Store, go to Purchases tab and download OS X Mountain Lion. If you don't see Mountain Lion there, maybe it's hidden, so you have to unhide it > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4928 Then, go to Purchases tab and download OS X Mountain Lion.
When the download finishes, the installer will appear, so follow the steps to upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion

I bought Mountain Lion but no I photo included?

Mountian Lion does not come with iPhoto.
However, iPhoto should have come with your Mac so you should already have it.

  • I tried to pay my bill and My Verizon says my bill is paid in full but they never charged my bank account.

Title says it all.  For some reason Verizon never charged my bank account for my bill but it says it is paid for.  I'm all for getting a free month of cell service but I think it would be best if I get this fixed so I don't spend the money I was going to use for the bill and then have Verizon randomly charge my account lol.  Anyone else have this problem in the past or know what I should do to fix it?

    Try this
    1. Edit profile & privacy
    2. Edit first two rows

  • I can not download the newest itunes to my imac but it will not, keep getting error message. So wanted to update to lion but unable to locate the mac app store.

looking fro help to get new version of itunes downloaded on imac that is running snow leopard and trying to update to lion but cannot find the mac app store.

App Store is an application in Applications folder on your hard disk.
But what error do you get, when trying to update iTunes? That should be possible in Snow Leopard too!

  • I tried to download an album twice with no success (there was an error with my card) but it still charged my bank account. will i be refunded since the album was never received?

I tried this morning to download the Macklemore album twice. both times with a card error. However it has posted in my bank account as if the transaction was successful both times. So i was charged twice for the same album of which i never received. Will i be refunded for this "purchase"?

What was the error that you got ?
Does anything show on your account's purchase history ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases (the most recent is above the list).
If you have been charged twice then try the 'report a problem' link to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If you haven't then they might just be temporary store holding charges - from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3702 :
As with many other merchants, the iTunes Store and Mac App Store places an authorization hold on your payment card account for the approximate amount of any purchase you make.
Authorization holds are removed by your financial institution shortly after your purchase clears. The time it takes to remove authorization requests varies by financial institution.

  • Just brought my imac out of retirement and I need to go from 10.5.8 to Moutain Lion but I can't find snow leopard in the mac store?

I also live in Dubai so getting them to send out a disc isn't an option and the stores here are not stocking snow leopard anymore.....I wish I still had the disc I used to upgrade my MBP!

Upgrading to Snow Leopard, Lion, or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
You can purchase Snow Leopard by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will receive physical media - DVD - by mail.
Third-party sources for Snow Leopard are:
    Snow Leopard from Amazon.com
    Snow Leopard from eBay
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.

It sounds like a cred hold was placed on your account for the free apps.  See:
iTunes Store: About credit-card authorization holds
I would wait until you get the email receipt(s) for your purchases.  If yu were charge more than you think then:

  • HT1338 I downloaded OS X moutain lion but it won't let me install it on my MAC HD drive. it says it can't becease time machaine use the MAC HD drive. How do I get this Installed?

e time machaine use the MAC HD drive. How do I get this Installed?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
That's because you have a "Backups.backupdb" folder at the root level of the hard disk, so the Mountain Lion installer detects that your OS X partition is being used by Time Machine. Just open Finder, select Go menu (on the menu bar) > Go to Folder, and type "/" (without quotes). Finally, delete the "Backups.backupdb" folder and run the OS X installer again

  • I've bought Mountain Lion but my iMac's HD isn't the correct format (Mac OS Extended(Journaled) instead of GUID partition what do I do?

Can I just back up to Time machine, then reformat disk then re down load?

As mende1 stated, the two are different and must be both.
If you open Disk Utility and select the hard drive (the type, size, and serial number), not the volume (Macintosh HD), it will tell you at the bottom of the screen what the Partition Table is. It should be GUID. If not, then you will need to back it up, then repartition the drive. Also, copy the Mountain Lion installer onto another drive so you don't have to download again. It is in the Applications folder.
There are a few methods to get back where you are, including wipe, install old OS, restore from TM, install ML.
You might search the web for a tutorial on creating a boot/install disk using the Mountain Lion installer.
Another easy way is to use something like Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper to clone your current OS onto another drive. Then, boot using the external you cloned. Use Disk Utility to re-partition the internal drive as noted below, then Clone your current OS back to the internal. Then, use the installer you tucked away to reinstall.
If running Snow Leopard, you need to boot using your install disk, then open Disk Utility.
If running Lion, you need to boot into the Recovery HD by holding down cmd-r on restart.
From there, open Disk Utility, select the hard drive, then the Partition tab.
Select 1 partition from the partition layout dropdown (or however you'd like, just don't use current).
Set the Name of the disk. Macintosh HD is the norm, but you can name it anything you want.
Set the Format to Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    Click the Options Button.
Set the Partition Table to GUID Partition Table.
Back on the partition tab, click Apply.
