BP to specific sale area

Hi,
I want to make customer /BP to specific sales area for specific country.
And mainly we already have customers from different countries but we want to make now to each customer have to belong to specific sales area of that country.
How can we extend this for existence system and how can we make for new customer to specific sales area and country.
For all countries we are maintaining only two number ranges B2B and B2C.
Thanks in Advance for your help.
Regards
Rami

Hi Rami,
Try to do this using sales org structure..
Sales offices and sales groups are very specific to your country structure..
Thus maintain sales office and sales group in ur Customer Master and thus you will sagregate them at country level..
Worst come worst, if a customer is located in multiple office,, then you can use BP heirarchy and define the masterdata for all the country specific customer for the main customer and can mapp into system..
Try to keep it as standard as possible.. because business process would anyways be served.. only diff is may be by standard lots of data needed to be maintained in the system.

when I select Plant , sales org & distribution channel and press enter an error comes "Company Code 1000 is not set up for Material Managment".
    please help me out.

    hi,
    Check few things:
    1. Check whether the plant is assigned to the co.code which it is showing and the Material is maintained for the same plant...
    2. Check whether there is proper assignment of the porg to co.code
    Porg to plant, etc...
If plant is not assigned to cocode then assign it in OX18....
    Or
If you are using the IDES, then try with the other plant and material...

    Hi
The BP's created for one particular sales area are not getting replicated into CRM, though before sometime it was happening.
DJ>>  Hope the required sales area is available in CRM.
The BP with the "general data", and "role of sold to party" only flows but not with the sales area. There is no BDoc error in the SMW01 either. While displaying BP for the role of sold to party, it shows "Sold-to-party(maintained)" but the sales area entries though maintained for this sales area in the ECC, do not flow to the CRM.
DJ>> Please check the following -
    1. Create a BP in CRM (with the sold-to party role) with the required Sales area and see if this customer when replicated to ECC has the relevant Sales Area.  Ideally it should get replicated if all you middleware settings are fine.
    2. See you have not set a filter for a specific Sales Area and becuase of that BP is getting replicate but not the sales area.
    Hope this will help

  • Open Customer for Multiple Sales Areas

We need that when we save a customer from a specific sales area this customer will be opened automaticly in several sales areas and company codes (because of buisness reasons we do not use consumers).
I was not able to find a function/BADI that gives this functionality.

    Uri Dembo

    Hello Uri
    Please correct my understanding
What you are saying is , when you create a customer in a specific sales area, it should get extended to rest of the sales areas, is that what you are saying?
If yes, then you might want to take help from your technical folks (Abapers) for auto extension of customer in other areas.
Before you do that, it is essential to understand that you have the right configuration in place.

    hi
The Assignment of Sales Areas to Sales Documents
There may be a need to assign sales documents to specific sales areas. For example, a different
sales document is used for all sales orders from a specific sales organization.
    Transaction Code OVAZ
You may assign reference sales organizations as well as reference distribution channels and divisions. Do not confuse this referencing with the assignment of common distribution channels and common divisions. The referencing done here is only used by the system to determine which sales documents are permitted for which sales areas.
If all sales document types can be used by all sales areas, leave the assignment fields blank.
    check your sales area in
Set up sales area - Enterprise Structure  ® Assignment ® Sales and Distribution ® Set up sales area
    T-code: OVXG
    Also check the following setting
OVAM - To Combine distribution channels Sales Document Types     -- Sales and Distribution ® Sales ® Sales Documents ® Sales Document Header ®  Assign Sales Area To Sales Document Types -
    choose Combine distribution channels.
OVAN - To Combine division to Sales Document Types      - Sales and Distribution ® Sales ® Sales Documents ® Sales Document Header ®  Assign Sales Area To Sales Document Types -
    choose Combine divisions
OVR1 - Define Common Distribution Channels - Sales and Distribution ® Master Data ® Define Common Distribution Channels
OVR2 - Define Common Divisions - Sales and Distribution ® Master Data ® Define Common Divisions

  • Changes in Sales Area data

We require to provide access to "make changes" in the sales area fields only, of a customer master record. The t code VD02 was looked upon, but strangely when VD02 was accessed, even the general data too comes up for editiing which is strictly not required.
XD02 is not provided to the said user, only the account group, activity 02, and VD02 was provided for the specific sales area.
Request you all to enlighten me as to where am I going wrong, in the understanding of VD02, authorisation or the execution of it.
Further to the same, if tab wise authorisation is possible within the sales area data, would be even more obliged.
    Thanks and regards,
    Tariq

    Dear Aziz
There are 3 tables where customer master data stores
    KNA1 - General data
    KNB1 - Company code  data
    KNVV -  Sales area data
You can restrict particular user by blocking kna1 table access for tcode - va02.

  • Can condition exclusion be sales area specific

    Hi Experts,
I need to find out if i can make a conditio exclusion sales area specific. My requirement is that i have 5 different sales area using the same pricing procedures. For 4 of them, i need to use an exclusive exclusion between 2 codnition types, but for one of the sales area, i need both of the condition types, basically no exclusion for this sales area for this condition types.
The pricing procedure is same across sales area and i need all other exclusions maintained ofr this PP for all the sales areas. Only one exclusion is not needed for one of the sales areas.
    Any ideas/sugesstions?

What you are asking is not possible through standard system using configuration alone.
Condition exclusion assigned to a pricing procedure cannot be controlled based on sales area or other criteria, once assigned and condition exclusion applies to the pricing procedure wherever it is used.
What you can do though is to inactivate a condition type say ZCT2 based on condition type say ZCT1. You can put the logic in pricing formula (alternative calculation type formula) against ZCT2 in pricing procedure
You get all the condition types in XKOMV table inside the formula for ZCT2. So if ZCT2 is below ZCT1 in the pricing procedure, by the time ZCT2 is being evaluated the value of ZCT1 is already in XKOMV table. You can fetch ZCT1 value compare and inactivate ZCT2 by setting XKOMV-KINAK = 'X' for respective sales areas. You can get sales area information in variables KOMK-VKORG, VTWEG, SPART etc. Also tell your developer to use his own work area for XKOMV header. The values in the header of XKOMV should not be changed as they may be used in further logic.
Only thing here is that the condition type that needs to be inactive should be below the one that you use to inactivate it, in the pricing procedure
Work with a developer and revert back if you have any issue.

  • Can we assign sales area specific Texts

    Hi,
Can we assign sales area specific Texts?? if yes then how ??
    Regs..

    Hi Reddy,
You can maintain taxes based on sales area based on ur customer master data.
u maintain ur tax clasification on cust. master whether it is tax exemption or taxble.
say an example MWST output tax select condition information then u get field combination cuntry and tax classification of customer.
based on this u can maintain tax condition records.
Rewards points if it is helpful.

  • Deletion of assigned sales area data

    Hi *,
I am looking for a possibility to delete sales area data that were wrongly assigned to business partners. In our case the BPs were not uploaded to ECC yet.
    Any ideas?
    Kind regards
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,
There's no easy way to do it. You have to adapt report from note 725857 to allow deletion of sales area for specific BP. You can get also more information on notes 1955713, 1906379.

  • Failing to determine sales area in sales order for many BP's(Sold-To Party)

    Hi Experts
In SAP CRM version 4.0, when I enter the Sold-to party (BP) in the sales order transaction, for some it determines the sale area automatically and for most of the BP's it is not determining.
The Determination rule is organizational Model.
The determination rule used is 91000141 (ZORGMAN_RA = Organization based on BP and trans.)
Under Container tab in this determination rule, using simulate Rule resolution button, for some BP, it find the agent with green light when I place a BP in the Container element value field but for many BP's, it shows as No agent found.
Org. data profile used is ZORGPROF_RA (Mandatory are sales Org, Dist. Ch, Sales Off.) and has set the above determination rule.
In the Organizational model, the General attributes are country, currency, dist. Ch & division.
So, Why Org determination is working for some BP and not for all.. I've checked each field in BP transaction comparing those BP where the org detrmination is automatic with those where it is not determining...but not able to find a clue also to trace it.
we are introducting a sales order block in BP (under sales tab) for some specific Sold-To party and in webshop when these Sold-to party are tried to place an order then an error message will show that this "Sold-To party has a  sales area block".
To achieve this, first the org determination should work automatically for all BP's otherwise for those BP which cannot detrmine the sales area in the sales order transaction will allow to place order (which should not be in our case)
Can any one throw some light in this case..please do ask if you need more clarification in my question.
    Thank & Regards
    Pravin Babu

    Hello Maggie
    Thanks for your reply.
I found the cause of the failure, in not determining  the sales area  automatically in sales transaction for some BP's.
It is due to the BP settings, under sales area view, under organization tab, by pressing 'Choose sale area" button, I can see the sales Organization has uncheck for 'sales'  but it is check for all others - shipping, billing, partner, status, Organization.
It is due to -> no data mainatined for the BP under Sales tab, after mainatianing it, I can see the check by pressing the 'choose sale area under organization tab.
Now, in Order transaction, the sale area is determined automatically when I enter the BP.
So this was the reason that some BP's was able to determine the sales area automatically but not for others in the sales transaction.
