BT Yahoo won't open through Favourites

Hi
I put BT Yahoo mail address in my Favourites so I can log in to my mail with one click without having to enter my email address each time. Since today, when I click on it the mail screen tries to open but flashes on and off and on and off indefinitely preventing me accessing my emails this way. If I type in BT Yahoo address myself or go through Google, it opens fine. I even saved the address a second time in Favourites and that one now flashes on and off the same as the first.
Anyone else have this problem? Any fixes?

Have a iTunes music player file that won't open through iTunes - help!

I downloaded a music file from the internet that is an iTunes music player file, and now when I try to import it to iTunes it won't open or even if I just try to open the file it brings up iTunes, but no music is opened or played. I've tried to change the file's format through iTunes but i couldn't figure that out and I've tried to save it as a different type of file when I downloaded but that didn't work either. HELP PLEASE! I WANT MY MUSIC!!

Useful info, Katrina. It's been so long since I had install an app to handle that (Remember Stuffit?) that it didn't occur to me that Windows either couldn't do it or didn't come with a utility along with all the other stuff that seems to come on an new computer.

SAP NetWeaver Portal won't open through AirPort Extreme

I am trying to access this site: https://ess.sobeys.com/irj/portal
When my iMac is connected to the internet through our AirPort Extreme, the site will not load. It will also not load on any device (iPod, iPhone) connected to the network created by the AirPort Extreme.
When I bypass the AirPort and connect the iMac directly to the internet, the site opens.
Also, when I turn off the Wi-Fi on my iPhone and use 3G data, the site opens too.
I can not find any info online about this. I think it may have to do with ports on the AirPort Extreme.
Any help would be appreciated.

It happens to me with one song, the only song of more than 2,000 that I've edited (I cut out the beginning, don't remember what program I used). I have no idea why.

It's not a bad install of Mountain Lion. I've had the same thing happen to me, but it affected not only Mail, but a variety of other programs including iPhoto and MS Office, where I had to delete preferences, caches, and reinstall the OS as well as the program itself. I'm still having issues with Mail, so I've gone to another program.
Everything was fine upon the initial install. I restarted my iMac about two weeks after the install, and that's when the issues began to happen. I've reinstalled Mountain Lion twice, but the same issues arise.
As I mentioned above, you'll need to figure out which preferences are causing the issue, then reinstall the program, as a fresh reinstallation will do you no good unless you wipe the drive completely.

Firefox 4.0 Yahoo 1.8 won't open pdfs

Recently upgraded Firefox. Bad idea. Now it's very slow, some pdfs won't open, and some sites don't open at all. Also, it switched my search tab from Google to Yahoo, zapped Wikipedia from my bookmark toolbar, and put the Yahoo brand at the top of the page. Can I get back to a non-Yahoo version of Firefox? Is there a way to get pdfs to open in this version? Anybody have answers?

Quit Safari.
Go to /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Move the Adobe PDF Browser plugin to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari.

It sounds like you have a a password-protected PDF. The password was set by the person who encoded it.

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

You don't have to disable any addons or extentions!!!You guys are not going to believe this I figured out the problem it's really dumb...ok here goes the attachment uploader loads seperate so I got to thinking it's a popup so I went to options content and under block pop ups there is an option exceptions click on that and in the box type firefox.com and hit allow pow its fixed!!!!! :-)

my operating system is OS X Lion 10.7.5

What I mean by 'cycles through documents" is that when I attempt to either open a document or just open the application - it looks like the application begins to start - I see the first page of a bunch of documents very quickly going from left to right on my screen but then I see a bar in the middle of the screen (I'm not sure what its called but its the one that tells you to wait while the computer does something) - and then it just stays there, never opening the documents.
My version of pages has always had the "cycling" effect at the beginning but it always ended quickly and I could begin working on my documents - now.... I can't begin working on anything and the only option I have is to force quit.

When using yahoo mail plus in fire fox latest version, no pics come into my inbox or they won't open..yahoo mail plus pics are ok in IE7 or using firefox and gmail...dunno..when I was forced to upgrade by yahoo to latest version of mail plus it won't work anymore.

i think i'll have to do a custom install from disk. is there anything i need to do/be aware of with the mail folder before i do the install? should i leave it in homefolder/library (once i've backed it up that is)?
will the new mail app just `talk` to the old mail folder once installed?

For the SD card, are you copying the photos onto it yourself from your computer ? If you are then you need to create a DCIM directory off the root of the card, with the photos underneath it, and the photo filenames need to be exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension i.e. in a similar format as if a camera had created/written them.
In terms of syncing photos, what happens when you try ? You should be able to sync photos by connecting your iPad to your computer and selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side selecting the Photos tab - using that tab you should be able to select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.

About a week ago my firefox won't open my email everytime I click on the link. A link comes up to open quick view, but that isn't what I want and I'm not sure it works either. I have tested with internet explorer and it opens fine.

Audition won't open except through Premiere Pro CS4

So last year my issue was when I got CS4, Premiere Pro wouldn't open unless I had After Effects and Audition 3.01 already open; and then I had to attempt to open Premiere three times -- then it would open. That was the magical solution. I don't know why it worked that way, but that's the way it was.
After years of faithful service, now Audition won't open. On the other hand, Premiere Pro opens the first time without any other Adobe program being open.
My jaw dropped.
Audition will open if I want to edit a sound file from Premiere Pro. I haven't added any new Audition VST goodies lately.
But if I try to open it from the desktop, the error msg reads:

ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 6c694620
I tried the Run As solution that was posted here, but no joy.
In fact, I can't even uninstall and reinstall Audition because the process halts with a message that the
components.msi in the Windows folder is missing or bad.
I'm running this on a Sony Viao VGC-RC219G with Windows XP SP3.

I would have liked to uninstall and re-install, but either XP or Audition wouldn't let me.
I kept trying 'Repair' under the Add Or Remove Programs, but consistently there was an error message saying that a file '_1FEE7blahblahblah' in Data1.cab was missing or corrupt. I happen to have another copy of Audition running on my laptop, so I copied the Data1.cab to a thumbdrive and copied it into the Audition folder on my desktop computer.
It finally allowed me to run the repair and everything seems OK.
Even CS4 Premiere Pro has gone back to being broken. . .although I think it's a Quicktime issue.
The fun never stops.
