I am using 4.6C version, Can I find following navigations for budget in this verson?
1. Financials->Budget Setup->Budget
2. Administration -> System Initialization -> General Settings -> Budget tab.

How to set a navigation case as the action for a CoreCommandButton

Hi all,
I dynamically display a CoreCommandButton on my jspx using code in the backing bean.
I want to set a navigation case to this button so that I can navigate to a separate page when clicking the button.
CoreCommanButton has a setAction method which needs a methoBinding. If my navigation case is "goMaintainPr", how do I set this as the action of my button? Can I create a methodBinding for my navigation case? If so how?

I am creating my CoreCommanButton in the backing bean like:
          CoreCommandButton editElemBtn = new CoreCommandButton();
          editElemBtn.setId(elemCd + "-edit");
          editElemBtn.setText("Edit");
and then add it to the page from the backing bean. So I need to be able to set the action to the above button like:
          editElemBtn.setAction(action); -- here, action needs to be a methodBinding. So i cannot just assign my navigation case as a String.
How do I create a methodBinding with my navigation case ?

Setting up Navigational Links

Hi everybody!
I would like to call custom view (copied from standard view).
1. Copied view "IRecPartner" into application Z_CRM_IC.
2. Defined custom IC Web Client & IC Web Client Runtime framework profiles.
3. Defined navigational link through application Z_CRM_DT_REP.
   Made changes for Page fragments:
   CRM_IC_All_NavLinks.xml
   CRM_IC_All_Viewsets.xml
   IRecNavigationalLink.xml
   IRecViewSets.xml
   In page "IRecNavigationalLink.xml" changed navigational link for view "IRecPartner".
Requirement: Execute "CRM_IC" --> Interaction Record --> Partner.
Instead of standard "IRecPartner", it should call custom (copied) "IRecPartner".
But on the same page, it should show one custom view and others as standard ones.
In my case, after click on "Partners" button of "Interaction Record", it shows only one
view (custom IRecPartner), but no other standard view is being displayed.
Can anybody guide me for setting custom navigational links?

Budget set up puzzle?

I am using SAP B1 Ver9 and trying to correctly set up the Cost Accounting budget but I am trying to understand the following:
The cost accounting works on the principle that I can charge an expense to a cost center directly (Direct Cost) and another cost I can charge a proportion (%) of the cost based on a predefined formula called Distribution Rule (Indirect cost). However, I cannot see a facility to set up a Budget for a Direct Costs for a cost center. For example, if I have a Cost Center called Kalmora Goudhurst which has a wages Direct cost of £50,000 as a Direct cost + Other indirect costs of £30,000, I need to enter these 2 figures into the budget but I cannot see such a facility? Please note that my question is regarding the Budget for Cost centers that have both Direct and Indirect costs involved and where to set the budget for each type of costs?
I am also wondering which Cost accounting report can give me a profitability comparison of Actual Cost Center (Sales - Direct Costs - Indirect Costs) compared to Budgets of Sales - Direct Costs - Indirect Costs)
I would be grateful for any explanations.

Budget initialisation cannot be done for quarterly basis so i will set it up as monthly .
For example
If I will receive 3000 for quarter, then I can divide that into 3 month each
So In the budget set up ,I will create a scenario name Quarter 1
in the Budget distribution i create a method for Quarter1budget in which i can define
3000 is equal to factor 3 so I divide that factor equally among three months
Month 1 1
Month 2 1
Month 3 1
that way I will set up budget for three month .
At the end of three month ,I will create quarter 2. and set up factor three ,but I will now divide budget
by Month 1 ...
     Month 2..
     Month 3
Month 4      1
    Month 5   1
   Month 5   1
Is this work around not feasible.Can you please explain

Set Page Navigation tab to default open

Is it possible to set the initial view to have the Page Navigation tab open?

With Distiller and PDF Maker one can set the thumbnails to be embedded. And PDF Maker can be set to display the "Page and Bookmarks". With the Professional version of Acrobat one could create a Batch Process to set the open option to show the thumbnails and page.

Aggregator: Setting up navigation from one SWF to the end of a previous SWF.

If anyone has a strategy that has worked for them, please let me know. In the mean-time, I'll try an idea I have that employs a main swf to hold variables and set those variables with navigation buttons. For example, if the back button is clicked, I can set a variable indicating the target location for the previous file is the last page. I can use a conditional statement on the first slide.

I'm beginning to wonder if I am misunderstanding the purpose of aggregator. I always try to keep .swf files small. I planned to use aggregator to host variables from subordinate swf files. The Adobe help file at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/captivate/cp/using/W8c1b83f70210cd101-1ff8d6a911d0a0500a3-8000 .html seems to suggest a different vision. If the aggregator's only function is to combine multiple swfs into one giant swf, then clearly the author of Flash's scenes has escaped the asylum.

How to set up navigation panel closed initially

Hi ,
I am facing a pblm with navigation panel.
i need navigation panel only for few roles. when i logon to the portal, my first role say "XYZ" is showing navigation panel.
i want to setup it in a way that for XYZ navigation panel should be closed(on logon) and when navigate to other roles navigation panel sholud be there.
how to customize it for roles ...

But i am working with WPC sites.
So here i have only roles, there are no ivews and pages.
my first role "XYZ" is for wpc only.
In roles there is no such parameter. So how to set it for WPC role.

Setting up navigation

Hi
Im trying to set up a left panel navigation bar.
I have thumbnail size pictures and used a map over that to link to the page I want the button to go to. so far so good.
then I wanted the button to change to letters when the mouse enters. I tried using the "actions" but that dident work so I made more buttons, this time with the words on them eg "Home" etc. then I linked the ON pictures through the Actions pallate.
In Preview, this worked, you roll over the first pic and the second pic aprears like its supposed to BUT...
when I "previewed in browser" I can only get the ON picture when the mouse is in an area that the MAP does not cover.
how can I make the buttons change to the ON image, but at the same time have them link to the corrosponding pages?

think about text links
there are four states - the basic link state, the hover state (GL calls this over) the down or click state and the visited state.
basically what you are doing here is substituting images for the text in these states (except the visited)
there is only one link
the three images - image.jpg, image_over.jpg and image_down.jpg are the three "states" of that link - they are not separate links rather all part of the same thing
not quite the holy trinity but you get the idea

here are brief explanations how to define budget:
Defining a Budget
Financials --> Budget --> Define Budget
Use the Define Budget window to choose the required G/L accounts.
The table displays G/L accounts defined as 'Relevant to Budget' in the Chart of
Accounts.
Scenario u2013 from the drop down menu, choose the scenario for which you would like to
define a budget (more details on scenarios will be provided later).
The Budget Scenarios window displays G/L accounts defined as 'Relevant to Budget'
in the Chart of Accounts, and for which an amount was entered in the budget.
Fields in the window:
u2022 Fiscal Year u2013 the fiscal year linked to the selected budget scenario.
u2022 Display Accounts with no Budget u2013 check this box to also display G/L
accounts for which no budget amount has been entered.
u2022 Acc. No. u2013 the G/L account code as defined in the Chart of Accounts.
Acc. Name u2013 the G/L account name.
u2022 Parent Acc. u2013 you can determine the budget amount of a certain G/L
account according to a certain percentage calculated from an existing
budget amount of another G/L account. Click the Tab key to display a
list of G/L accounts with budget amounts, select the required G/L
account and set a required percentage in the field '%' to the right. See
the above example: for G/L account 612100000-01-001-01, a budget of
5 millions was entered. 10% of this G/L account's budget is allocated to
G/L account 612400000-01-001-01.
Note! The option of linking budget amounts to parent accounts is used for
calculations only. Due to this reason, the budget amount entered in the field Parent
Acc. and divided among its child G/L accounts, is not actually deducted from the
budget of the parent account. In the example above, G/L account 612100000-01-
001-01 has a budget of 5 millions, and its child G/L account 612400000-01-001-01
has a budget of 500,000. However, the budget amounts are managed separately
for each G/L account.
u2022 % - in case you have selected a parent account for a certain G/L
account, type the proportionate budget percentage you would like to
allocate to the child G/L account e.g. if the parent account's budget is
$1000 and you define 10%, the child account's budget will be $100.
u2022 Method u2013 the default budget distribution method between the months.
You can define a different method for each G/L account. Click the field
to open a drop down menu displaying all the distribution methods
defined in your company.
u2022 Local Debit / Credit u2013 in these fields, enter the amount in local currency
for each G/L account. The budget is checked against the debit side.
Therefore, you must enter an amount in the Debit field. An amount can
also be entered on the credit side.
u2022 System Debit, Credit - in these fields, you can manually change the
system currency budget amounts, which were calculated according to
the amount in local currency multiplied by the relevant exchange rate.
u2022 Actual u2013 the G/L account's balance to date based on its journal entries
in SAP Business One in local currency.
u2022 Actual (SC) - the G/L account's balance to date based on its journal
entries in SAP Business One in system currency.
u2022 Actual u2013 Future Local, System u2013 displays the future balance of the G/L
account. This future balance displays the amounts of open Purchase
Orders and Goods Receipt POs.
You can choose to display or hide columns in this window by clicking the Settings icon
and selecting relevant fields.

How to set different navigation items for each content tab in xMII portal

Scenario : I have added three content tabs in the xMII portal.
I want to change the items in the navigation tree when each of the content tabs are selected.
How is this possible?

The built-in navigation tree is not intended for this sort of thing, where just like with the tabs it is intended to provide role/user based content links.
You would be better off having your content tab link pass a criteria to the default target frame and allow a web page to give you the second level of dynamics. Your content tab links could be something quite simple like "Page.irpt?Tree=1", "Page.irpt?Tree=2", "Page.irpt?Tree=3" and your irpt page would receive the Tree property and you could react accordingly in your web page.

Input variable takes value from current filter setting in navigation block

Hi
Is there is a way in SAP, maybe with customer exit, to fill a input variable for 0CALMONTH (which in the end will get a value like "06.2005") with the current value from the selected month in the filter settings of the time characteristic 0CALMONTH in the navigation block of a query?
I guess the filter values are transferred back to the OLAP engine so the server knows the filter values of course and theoretically might be able to fill a variable with it...?

Thanks for your suggestion Vikram. But if i change in the Info-object leve, i hope it will be reflected in all the Queries that are using this info-object. I want it for a particular query alone.
Also, in the Info-object level, for the option 'Query execution Filter value' the value is given as 'Value in Master Data Table' only. Still, it is User specific.

You can follow the below steps,
1. In the runtime repository add your window to the component Interface, add inbound and outbound plugs as well
2. Go to SPRO->CRM>UI Framework->Technical Role Def->Define Work Area Component Repository, create new entry and add your component.
3. Go to Nav bar profile and create logical link, create work center link group and add your logical link.
4. Use some existing work center and assign the work center link group created to this work center
5. Go to Define Business Role and choose your business role and enable that work center link.

its very urgent to me.
i am creating 6 rows 6 columns using the message component layout,
after thae i am creating 1 row with 7 column using rowlayout region.
whenever i am pressing the tab button from keyboard,the cursor move first region(message component layout)
after that it goes to second region(rowlayout region)
here my requirement is the cursor move the first column of both regions,after that go to second column and so onnnnn
Is it possible to navigate these columns of both regions.
any property is available is there for this?
give me gudaince for this

How to set runtime block and its items navigation

this is my procedure to set a navigation in a block. but with this i m unable to how to navigate to second block.
first block name is TRANS1
and second block name TRANS2

V_PREITEM is a variable which contain the name of last item, which i already set in navigation.
look at all 'IF' condition.
