Business catalyst premium partner program

Has the Business catalyst premium partner membership been changed, I can't find any references to it anymore. If so what changes have been made? and how do they affect normal members?

With a premium partner account you can rebrand the BC Admin area with your company's logo, add your logo and brand to all outgoing emails/worfklow notifications and can bill your customers at your own price (markup BC prices) and setup one monthly bill if you choose.  BC will bill you for your client's sites but you are responsible for billing them at whatever price you want and you are responsible for taking the payments.  You also get a free partner website which you can use to sign up new customers and even bill them from there with recurring subscriptions if you wish.
Besides setting your own billing rates for BC services for your clients you also receive a commission on 20% of your clients' monthly bill and if you refer a reseller or another partner you will get 10% of all their monthly charges as well.

    I am a BC premium partner with CS5.5 and was thinking of upgrading to CC.  My worry is I don't want to lose all my sites that i created with BC over the last 2 years.  Is this upgrade to CC a seemless one or is there issues with BC and CC??
    I dont care about the 5 websites you get with CC, i just don't want my current sites getting messed up because of upgrading to CC. Any advise from BC partners would be appreicated.

    I am looking for a third-party Affiliate Program that will integrate well with the Adobe Business Catalyst platform.
    The requirement is fairly basic, i.e.,  to track multiple affiliates and down-stream affiliate-to-affiliate referrals. Also looking to report and display these referrals an affiliate’s dashboard.
    We have looked into Affiliate Program Software, Affiliate Tracking Software Marketing and would like to entertain other options before making a decision.

    For what it is worth, I am a fan of NuGen, I have both SEQ 1 and 2 and two stereo enhancing tools (stereoizer and stereoplacer I think they're called). Since I have the SEQ 1 it replaces all Channel EQ's. And the stereotools sound great and very lush, in stead of the more usual cheezy combfilterthingies that pass for stereo enhancing tools.
    And I actually like the interfaces. Simple, but stylish, functional and ergonomic (in this case meaning you can see all parameters in a quick glance, no guessing at settings).

    My campaign emails all go out with "My Adobe Partner and Business Catalyst" at the bottom of each email.

    Are you a BC partner and have a partner portal? Go to your settings and you set your own info or place blank characters to have it blank. Otherwise you cant.

    I've recommended Business Catalyst to a friend who is looking to start an online store and I'm trying to find him a Business Catalyst partner on the Gold Coast to help him.
    We use it for our companies and love it and I've explained it all to him and would like to put him in touch with a great partner in his area that can help. He would like someone that is local (Gold Coast area only please).

    What benefits do I get with Creative Cloud ?
         In addition to acccess to all Creative Suite programs, Lightroom and others in one place, a Creative Cloud membership enables you to host up to five Business Catalyst websites. These sites will be webBasics sites. For a full comparison between plans, see this page. If you purchase Muse or Dreamweaver as individual products in Creative Cloud, you can host one Business Catalyst website for each of them. 
    My web design shop has several employees, each with their own Business Catalyst login with access our Partner Portal. Do we need Adobe IDs for each of our employees?

    I have a paid website that I want to host using my Creative Cloud subscription. Can I do this?
         This is not possible. You need to create a new webBasics temporary website in Business Catalyst and push it live.

         You will have 5 websites for each employee. However, you will pay different licenses for all of them. Before purchasing these licenses, please contact Adobe Support to add these users to your partner portal. After you have added users to your partner portal, you will be able to access all the websites from it.
    *NOTE: If you have already add employees to your partner portal, then everything will work automatically.
    If you don’t want to access all your websites from the same Partner Portal, you don’t have to do anything.
    How can I set permissions for my employees regarding these websites? What permissions can I set?
          This will be part of a later Creative Cloud that will be launched this year.
    What happens if I cancel or stop paying my Creative Cloud subscription?
         Each live website (among the free websites under your Creative Cloud subscription) will stay live for an additional 30 days. This gives you time to decide whether you want to keep the site(s) live or remove them.  You will be prompted to upgrade your website to a regular Business Catalyst site plan.
         After 30 days, your website will enter in temporary mode. When entering the temporary mode, your custom domain name will be removed from the website. In order to reactivate it, pay for your website directly with Business Catalyst.
         If you are inactive on a temporary website, it will automatically be deleted.
    === Dreamweaver CS6 FAQ ===
    I have logged in on Dreamweaver CS6 and I cannot see my partner site. How can I edit it?
    This is a known issue. For paid partners (Standard or Premium) you can use the workaround described below:
    export one of your sites as an .ste file
    Open the .ste file in another text editor, and modify it
    Replace the :
    httpaddress with your partner's site URL address
    secureURL with your partner site secure URL
    siteid with the site ID of your partner site
    Save the .ste file with another name
    Import this .ste file into Dreamwaver, choose a local root folder

    I'm trying to login to Dreamweaver CS6 with my Business Catalyst credentials, and it doesn't work. What credentials do I need?
         You can login to Dreamweaver CS6 with your Adobe ID. If you haven't merged your BC account with an Adobe ID account, you'll need to merge it and then you should be able to login.
    How do I access sites in Dreamweaver with an Adobe ID other than the one linked to my Creative Cloud or Dreamweaver subscription?
          Dreamweaver defaults to using the Adobe ID from your subscription to avoid the inconvenience of logging in multiple times. To use a different ID, just click the "Logout" button in the lower-right hand corner of the Business Catalyst panel and log in with a different Adobe ID:
    You'll need to have a file open in an existing BC site for the "Logout" button to be visible. Logging out will not affect the Adobe ID used in conjunction with your Dreamweaver subscription. To change the Adobe ID for your subscription, click Help -> Deactivate.

    At this point the upgrade workflow is not functional just yet, as mentioned here: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2153
    So the webBasics Creative Cloud cannot be upgraded directly  to the webBasics+ level for now.
    But a workaround for this case would be to re-publish your Dreamweaver/Muse project (I suppose you've used one of these solutions to build the site in the first place, right?) in a new trial/temporary site  -> let us know what is the URL of that site (don't push it live) -> we will change the site plan from our backend to webBasics+ -> you will be able to publish it using the webBasics+ site plan.
    Please note that this is going to be a separate charge, besides your Creative Cloud subscription. The monthly fee for webBasics+ will be $12.21/month, as mentioned here: http://www.adobe.com/products/business-catalyst/buying-guide-subscriptions.html
    Another way to use the webBasics+ plan would be to simply trigger a new trial site here: https://syd.worldsecuresystems.com/PartnerPortal/FreeTrialSignup.aspx#splash with the same Adobe ID as the one used to buy the Creative Cloud subscription and  take that site live separately.

  • Business Catalyst and Creative Cloud not Working

    I have a $2000 Premiere Business Catalyst Partner account.  I set up my BC account and my Adobe ID years ago under different e-mails.  When I tried to integrate my BC and Adobe Creative Cloud e-mails I got an error saying that I have to create a new Adobe ID.
    I created a new ID.  Now with Dreamweaver I'm getting the following error that I don't have a Partner Account!!!  I do have a partner account, it's just under a different e-mail.  Am I to stomach the fact that I will not be ablt to use my BC account on Creative Cloud simply because they are under 2 different e-mails?  I've been waiting to use BC and Creative Cloud for months, what a dissapointment.  This takes all the appeal out of Dreamweaver, Muse, and more, if I can't use Business Catalyst with Creative Cloud.  Please help....

  • Looking into starting a business using creative cloud and business catalyst

    Hi,
    I am just looking for a bit of clarification on a few things. I am looking at using Creative cloud and Business Catalyst for a new business.
    Firstly, if I have both a Mac and a PC, will one creative cloud subscription allow me to install on both?
    Secondly, with Business Catalyst if I am wanting to make more than 5 websites, do I have to use the partner plan? or is this just if I want to make comission? Basically can I pay individually for subscriptions to more than 5 sites on behalf of customers without paying the initial partner fee while I am starting up? Obviously long term the partner option makes sense but short term for start up it would be useful to just sell the adobe subscriptions without earning comission. Hope this makes sense?

    Hi Adam,
    I'm very happy to hear that you want to start a business using BC and Creative Cloud - this is one of the goals of our integration.
    To you first question, yes, you can install Creative Cloud on both your machines.
    To your second question - you don't need to be a paid partner while you're starting up. You can remain a free partner, and just buy supplemental websites from the Partner portal. You're right, you won't get the comission, but it's a pretty good deal anyway.
    If you're starting up, I also strongly recomment the BCGurus "Zero to BC Hero" training program - not only they explain you the BC product, but they also include a lot of great business insights on running a web agency

    Website hosted in BC. I think I changed something in BC because I don't receive the weekly business catalyst reports anymore. Could someone please guide me to what needs to be done to activate it.

    You can remove the privacy statement from the workflow emails via folder: Layouts>>Outbound Emails>>> There are several workflow emails within this folder so just edit them.
    As for the weekly report emails, my understanding is that you need to be a premium partner to be able to customise these...

    I want to know if it´s posible to increase the storage up to 5 GB in web commerce Level 3 or others plans.
    I need aproximatly 20 GB of storage for upload documents for our customers.
    If it´s possible i need the pricing of this increase of per GB.

  • I can't find e-commerce module anywhere at business catalyst..

    Hey there,
    i'm using Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 and recently wanted to get started to create an online-shop with the adobe business catalyst, as demonstrated in the tutorial-videos. But i can find the e-commerce module neither at admin console, nor at dreamweaver program (see screenshots below). I also discovered, that some other modules, like E-Mail Marketing, CRM and Web Apps, are not listed too.
    Is there any solution, how can i get this modules?
    i would be pleased, if you could help me.

    Are you a BC partner? If so you can view the website subscription level information in your partner portal. Or did you have a web developer create the site for you? If so I would contact them about your issue.
    Not really sure about DW. It seems like you are working under a limited user account. If you had total admin control you should see a left menu like below.
    So I assuming since you don't have 100% admin access that means you will not see all the modules and features from BC in the DW panel.

  • BC Premium Partner sites don't work with DW cs6

    I am a BC Premium parther ( $$$ ) and have updated my account to log in with my adobe ID. DW can loginto BC via FTP and files panel, but the BC panel is totally useless.I have logged in, logged out done everything I can think of but I always get this and this . As a test I created a totally new free account with different adobe id and no problems at all, but for the partner that has shelled out, no joy, frustrating!!  This is also the case with Phone Gap Build, there is no way my account can connect to the service making it useless!  To use my PREMIUM account I have to build in DW, up load, login via web, insert module, save then download page back to local DW file, painful.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Laz,
    Try to log off from BC panel and login with your main Adobe ID account (BC premium partner), then go to Site->Manage Sites menu and then choose to Ïmport Business catalyst Site". See if you can manage to import one of your existing BC site.
    After import is complete, open a html file from that site.. the BC panel should get loaded as expected.
    Let me know how that worked.

  • Dreamweaver CS6 CRASHES, When making new Business Catalyst Site

    Whenever I click Site > New Business Catalyst Site , The loading screen comes up and then the whole program goes unrepsonsive and windows says to close program
    I have Windows7 Home Premium , 16 GB RAM , AMD Phenom II x 6, 3.2 Ghz Black Edition , I don't think it's my computer speed
    I have all firewalls off, i even disabled my anitvirus then tried again , and i get no error report on crash

    Is the emailID provided during installation of Dreamweaver CS6 valid one? Its the same ID which the BusinessCatalyst tries to signup with.
    If there are already BC site connections in Dreamweaver, go to files panel and connect to it, provide the AdobeID password.
    Else try opening Manage Site dialog and click on Import Business Catalyst site , provide the AdobeID password.
