Button press and increment

We are trying to create a button where is the user clicks and holds the text field is incremented +1 each time. Any ideas on the best way to do this?

Hi. How about using a toogleButton instead of a button?
ToggleButton tb1 = new ToggleButton("toggle button 1");
        tb1.selectedProperty().addListener(new ChangeListener<Boolean>() {
