BW-SRM TRFC Error when loading PO data

Hello,
We are implementing an extended classic scenario in SRM. Invoices are created on R/3. All data is loaded into BW. When loading the PO data into BW, we receive the error message: 'For purch. order 4320000040 backend source system is empty even with extd sc'
In SRM, where the PO was created, the PO is present and in the tables EKKO and EKPO in R/3 as well. Does anyone have an idea why this error occurs?

hi ashok,
u can push data from psa to ods, for this goto the psa in rsa1>psa>goto that request>rightclick>select " schedule update Immediately ", then data will moved from psa to ods.
or
In ods > delete the failed request>goto the processing tab-->select 3rd option " psa and then subsequentially to data targets ", --> schedule the infopackage.

Error when load sptial data by using sqlldr

Currently, I have a shapeFile, so I have used shp2sdo tool to convert shapeFile to Oracle Spatial database. But when using sqlldr tool, I get the following errors:

I've seen folks work around similar problems by temporarily changing their NLS parameters (warning: you probably don't want to do this on a heavily used or production system). I know you said you changed them, but it might be worth another try.
On NT save the registry entry for NLS_LANG. I think it is at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->ORACLE->KEY_YOURORACLEHOME
Make the NLS_LANG registry value AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252
Restart the database.
Load the data
Reset the registry entry
Restart the database.

DTP Error when loading Master data from DSO to InfoProvider

is this your first upload ? the rfc connection to source system is established well ?
try to check in monitoring
- tab 'status', click step by step analysis, what's the status of 'RFC to source system success ?' grey ?
- transaction st22 and sm21, any message ?
- check menu 'environment' - shortdump - in datawarehouse, check for source system also, then transaction rfc, ale management, system log ...

Caller 09 is missing error when loading

Hi,
I'm getting the above error when loading transaction data from source system. (connected to Oracle system with DBLink so the source system is Myself). This system has just been upgraded to 3.5 but I had similar issue in Dev prior to the upgrade so I don't think its upgrade related.
Full error message is that the datasource must be replicated. Timestamp in source system and timestamp in BW are different.
I've tried the following (several times).
1. Replicated datasource (by right clicking on source system underneath infosource), then used program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL to activate the transfer structures.
2. Replicated datasource then manually activated transfer structure, communication structure, regenerated underlying programs of transfer structure and PSA program.
3. I've already logged off and back on
4. I've gone into RSA5, and reactivated the extract structure.
In the infosource, if I display its status, its has last changed timestamp of today. But in the error message I'm getting a timestamp of 25.05.06 for source system and 25.1.2003 for BW (bearing in mind they are both in fact BW).
Any ideas? Please help !!

3. Activate the update rules (infosource to ODS)
4. Activate the update rules (ODS to infocube)
5. Right-click at the ODS, choose 'Generate Export Data Source'

Error 1 when loading external data

Hi BW( Best and Wise) friends,
I am not able to load data into my infocube. My source system is a PC file.
Message "Error 1 when loading external data is displayed." when scheduled.
When I checked the error details using Monitor button,
During extraction, the data request was arranged(indicated by green mark),but there was error in data request(red).
During extraction,data request was received (green),but there was some error in data selection(red).
Anticipating good solution.

1.The flatfile matches with the transfer structure
2.The file is a .csv format file only.
3.The path is correct
I had chosen comma as my data separator.
I had declared fields in the following way in the XL csv file
Name of the candidate text
Name of the party- text
Age-number
Number of votes gained number
Calendar day text.
I had already tried the following.
When I clicked the preview in the external data tab of the infopackage, a window showing the preview parameters is opening. When I clicked the tickmark, message error 1 when loading data is displayed.
4. The details tab of the monitor showed the following:
Overall status : Errors occurred: or: Missing messages-red
4.1)Requests(messages):Errors occurred-red
 Data request arranged-green
 Error in datarequest-red
4.2)Extraction(messages):Errors occurred-red

ORA-00054 error when loading Oracle table using Data Services

Hello,
we are facing ORA-00054 error when loading Oracle table using BO Data services
(Oracle 10g database, BODS Xi 3.2 SP3)
Test Job performs
1- truncate table
2- load table (tested in standard and bulk load modes)
Scenario when issue happens is:
1- Run loading Job
2- Job end in error for any Oracle data base error
3- When re-running the same Job, Job fails with following error
ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified
It seems after first failure, Oracle session for loading the table stays active and locks the table.
To be able to rerun the Job, we are forced need to kill Oracle session manually to be able to run the Job again.
Expected behaviour would be : on error rollback modifications made on table and BODS stops Oracle session in a clean way.
Can somebody tell me / or point me to any BODS best practice about Oracle error handling to prevent such case?

the ora-0054 can occure depending how the job failed before. If this occures you will need the DBA to release the lock on the table in question
Or
AL_Engine.exe on The server it creates the Lock. Need to Kill Them. Or stop it..

How to avoid 'duplicate data record' error message when loading master data

Dear Experts
We have a custom extractor on table CSKS called ZCOSTCENTER_ATTR. The settings of this datasource are the same as the settings of 0COSTCENTER_ATTR. The problem is that when loading to BW it seems that validity (DATEFROM and DATETO) is not taken into account. If there is a cost center with several entries having different validity, I get this duplicate data record error. There is no error when loading 0COSTCENTER_ATTR.
Enhancing 0COSTCENTER_ATTR to have one datasource instead of two is not an option.
I know that you can set ignore duplicates in the infopackage, but that is not a nice solution. 0COSTCENTER_ATTR can run without this!
Is there a trick you know to tell the system that the date fields are also part of the key??

Alessandro - ZCOSTCENTER_ATTR is loading 0COSTCENTER, just like 0COSTCENTER_ATTR.
Siggi - I don't have the error message described in the note.
"There are duplicates of the data record 2 & with the key 'NO010000122077 &' for characteristic 0COSTCENTER &."
In PSA the records are marked red with the same message (MSG no 191).
As you see the key does not contain the date when the record is valid. How do I add it? How is it working for 0COSTCENTER_ATTR with the same records? Is it done on the R/3 or on the BW side?

Hi Experts,
I'm having a problem with my data loading from BW, using the standard Load InfoProvider Selections data manager package.
If I run for a period without data it succeeds (with warning) but if there is data to be extracted I get the following error:
Task name CONVERT:
No 1 Round:
Error occurs when loading transaction data from other model
model: AIACONS. Package status: ERROR
As it runs ok when there isn't data it appears there is something preventing the movements of data out of the cube itself, rather then a validation issue.
Has anyone encountered similar or have any ideas as to the problem?

It's not specific to the transformation file as I have tried with others for the same BW cube and get the same result.
We get a warning when we try and validate the transformation file:
"Error occurs when loading transaction data from other model".
This only appears in the validation pop up and doesn't throw up any warnings about the transformation file itself. The validation log says:

Hello Experts, I am trying to validate my transformation file and I can see peculiar behaviour of the transformation file. Even though the transformation file is not complete/ complete with all the mappings, i am getting the same error as above.
I can see options, mapping and conversion sections are validating successfully and throwing the above error.

hi all,
I have unchecked uncheck currency conversion for external systems in my info package and then loaded the data from a flat file.
and then i am getting the below errors.
cost -> cannot be converted to currenecy (since cost contains currency item)
netval_inv -> cannot be converted to currenecy (since cost contains currency item)
/bic/zntwthpm -> cannot be converted to currenecy (since cost contains currency item).
if i check the option
currency conversion for external systems in my info package
then i am getting error 4 when loading external data.
Can anyone help me out!!!

Please check whether your file whcih you are loading is open , when you are starting the Infopackage.
Also please check this SAP Note 600246 - RSAR 234: Error 4 when you load external data.

Error 3 when loading external data

Hi Gurus!!
I am trying to load data from a flat file into a Cube. The load is done by a process chain and have worked perfectly before. The file is located on the application server.
Now I get the following error:
Cannot Update Request REQU_DESUFKD2XA1LDREQ0KEJZ2TJC in Data Target
Error 3 when loading external data
The file looks ok when i compare it with the ones i received earlier.
Any ideas what this error 3 is all about?

I have already checked permissions for my user, double checked my transformation file and the dimensions, made all conversion files needed and the message has not changed.
